Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Dönnhoff Niederhäuser Hermannshöhle Riesling Nahe Tasting Lot, including 1-bottle of 2013 Dönnhoff Niederhauser Hermannshohle Riesling Auslese Nahe (97JG, 96RP, 94VN, 91WS) and 2-bottles of 2013 Dönnhoff Niederhäuser Hermannshöhle Riesling Spätlese Nahe (96JG, 94RP, 92ST). Of the 2013 Dönnhoff Niederhauser Hermannshohle Riesling Auslese Nahe,John Gilman writes: "The 2013 Hermannshöhle Auslese from Weingut Dönnhoff is another absolutely monumental example of the vintage. The wine is very heavily glazed, but once again, the absolutely pristine nature of the botrytis in the Dönnhoff wines gives this wine a clarity and refinement that is very rare with such heavily glazed wines. The gorgeous bouquet is a stunning mix of sweet grapefruit, tangerine, candied violets, great minerality, citrus zest and a very gentle note of petrol. On the palate the wine is pure, fullish and the most filigreed of these three amazingly beautiful Auslesen, with a great core of fr

Bid on this magnum of 2014 Peter Michael "Ma Belle-Fille" Knights Valley Chardonnay (1.5L) (98RP, 96JS, 92VN, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2014 Chardonnay Ma Belle Fille has essentially the same aromatic and flavor profile as well as huge body and concentration that also characterized the 2015, with oodles of caramelized citrus and honeysuckle in its explosive aromatics and intense flavors. Both are fabulous Chardonnays like their siblings and should be drunk over the next 10-12 years. (RP)" (10/2016)
Starting Bid: $160.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2001 Joh. Jos. Christoffel Erben Ürziger Würzgarten Riesling Auslese Mosel (92RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Flowers intermingled with limes can be discerned in the nose of the 2001 Riesling Auslese Urziger Wurzgarten. Light to medium-bodied and satin-textured, it is a soft, harmonious wine loaded with sweet citrus fruits, tangy minerals, and spices. Refined, it is graceful and feminine, yet rich. (PR)" (12/2002)
Starting Bid: $180.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2011 Peter Michael "Mon Plaisir" Kinghts Valley Chardonnay (94RP, 93ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "More of a near-term proposition, there are only 920 cases of the sexy 2011 Chardonnay Mon Plaisir. It displays plenty of rich pineapple, apricot and peach fruit intermixed with brioche notes, a creamy, full-bodied mouthfeel, and a stunning finish. This very successful 2011 can be enjoyed over the next 4-5 years. (RP)" (12/2013)
Starting Bid: $260.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Dönnhoff Oberhäuser Brücke Riesling Spätlese Nahe (96JG, 93RP). John Gilman: "The 2013 Dönnhoff Brücke Spätlese is pure magic in the making. The brilliantly complex nose soars from the glass in a blaze of pears, white cherries, pink grapefruit, clementines, stunningly complex minerality, perhaps a whisper of petrol, bee pollen and spring flowers. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, pure and beautifully reserved in profile, with a great core, stunning filigree, racy acids, laser-like focus and simply stunning length and grip on the electric finish. This is the best vintage of Brücke Spätlese since the twin gems of 2011 and 2007. Really a beautiful wine in the making. 96+" (03/2014)
Starting Bid: $105.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2011 Peter Michael "Ma Belle-Fille" Knights Valley Chardonnay (94RP, 93ST, 92VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Typically, there is much less of the 2011 Chardonnay Ma Belle Fille (1,390 cases), which displays good acidity for this vintage. There is a greenish hue to its light gold color and the nose exhibits notes of wet stones, quince, white currants and pineapple. (RP)" (12/2013)
Starting Bid: $180.00

Bid on this magnum of 2017 Aubert "Powder House" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (1.5L) (97JS, 97RP, 95VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The first vintage of this wine, the 2017 Chardonnay Powder House comes from eight acres of what are now estate-owned vines planted in 2013, to Hyde Old Wente and Mt. Eden clones on Goldridge soils. The vineyard is located in downtown Forestville, right across from the high school. At 15.4% alcohol, like Aubert’s other single-vineyard, singular Chardonnays, this baby is no shrinking violet. Although it is a little youthfully closed to begin, it unwinds with coaxing to offer glimpses at baked apple, poached pears, peach preserves and pineapple upside-down cake plus hints of praline, crème brûlée and clover honey. Full-bodied, the palate features a wicked backbone of freshness, beautifully lifting all those concentrated, densely packed flavors, finishing very long and wonderfully pure. Drink through 2032. (LPB) 97+" (10/2019)
Starting Bid: $185.00

Bid on this 3-half-bottle lot of 2001 Dr. Loosen Erdener Prälat Auslese Goldkapsel Mosel (375ml) (94RP, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The densely layered 2001 Riesling Auslese Erdener Pralat (Gold Capsule) has intense smoky, honeyed aromas. Pear syrup imbued with slate and minerals are intermingled with red berries and kumquats in this medium-bodied, rich, thick wine. Concentrated, powerful, and deep, it appears to have the muscle of a Beerenauslese. Anticipated maturity: 2008-2020. (PR)" (12/2002)
Starting Bid: $240.00

Bid on this bottle of 2013 Rivers-Marie "B. Thieriot" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (98RP, 95VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "One of the greatest young Chardonnays I’ve ever tasted certainly has to be the 2013 Chardonnay B. Thieriot Vineyard, from the very old vineyard planted in 1990 with the Robert Young clone of Chardonnay. It was cropped at 1.5 tons of fruit per acre and aged in Louis Latour cooperage. This amazing wine shows notes of poached pear, honeysuckle and hints of white peach and pineapple, is stunningly rich and full-bodied, but has great acidity and a remarkable finish pH of 3.1, which is incredible, given the intensity and power of this Chardonnay. Look for it to age well for up to a decade or more. Drink through 2025. (RP)" (10/2015)
Starting Bid: $85.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Rochioli "Sweetwater Vineyard" Russian River Valley Chardonnay (95RP, 93VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Corton-Charlemagne-like scents of white currants, wet rocks, honeyed citrus and pears jump from the glass of the exquisite 2013 Chardonnay Sweetwater (an Old Wente selection from Kistler’s ranch). A gorgeous texture builds incrementally to a medium to full-bodied, pure white wine that admirably displays Tom Rochioli’s craftsmanship. Drink it over the next 5-7 years. (RP)" (12/2014)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this bottle of 1989 Domaine Hubert Bouzereau-Gruère Meursault "Les Grands Charrons".
Starting Bid: $20.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2016 Sine Qua Non "Deux Grenouilles" White Blend (97JD, 94RP, 94VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2016 Deux Grenouilles is another brilliant white from this estate. Based on 36% Roussanne, 29% Chardonnay, 23% Viognier, and the balance Petite Manseng and Muscat, brought up 48% new French oak (the balance is in neutral oak and concrete eggs). This rich, full-bodied, incredibly elegant white offers up a smorgasbord of buttered citrus, orange blossom, flower oil, and honeyed minerality. Despite being a full-bodied, powerful wine, it stays fresh and graceful, with terrific freshness and acidity. It needs a decant if drinking any time soon and should keep for a decade or more." (10/2018)
Starting Bid: $230.00

Bid on this bottle of 1995 Calera "Twentieth Anniversary Vintage" Mt. Harlan Viognier.
Starting Bid: $20.00

Bid on this bottle of 2017 Morlet "La Proportion Dorée" Sonoma County White Blend ((97-100RP), 98JD, 93VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2017 La Proportion Doree is a barrel sample blended of 66% Sémillon, 33% Sauvignon Blanc and 1% Muscadelle from 30+-year-old dry-farmed vines barrel fermented with bâtonnage. It presents a wonderfully spicy nose of allspice, powdered ginger and white pepper over a core of lemon curd, ripe apricots and guava plus underlying hints of baking bread, marzipan and honeysuckle. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is packed with stone fruit and tropical fruit flavors, framed with a refreshing line and a beautifully creamy texture, finishing epically long and wonderfully spicy. 650 cases are expected to be made and released in the spring of 2019. (LPB)" (10/2018)
Starting Bid: $110.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2014 Peter Michael "Ma Belle-Fille" Knights Valley Chardonnay (98RP, 96JS, 92VN, 92WS). Starting Bid: $240.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2017 Sine Qua Non "Tectumque" White Blend (97RP, 94JD, 93VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Tectumque means “shelter” in Latin. This wine was initially going to be called “Inconnue” (“unknown” in French), but that name had already been trademarked. “Naming wines is becoming impossible,” mentioned Manfred. “Everything has already been taken. Even, 'No Name!'” This is a blend of 38% Roussanne, 31% Petit Manseng, 18% Chardonnay, 9% Viognier and 4% Muscat. The vineyard components are 52% Cumulus Estate, 19% Eleven Confessions Estate, 18% Bien Nacido Vineyard and 11% The Third Twin Estate. It spent around 20 months aging in 9% concrete eggs, 4% amphora, 9% used barrels and 78% new French oak puncheons. (LPB) 97+" (06/2019)
Starting Bid: $360.00

Bid on this 3-magnum lot of 2010 Domaine Jean-Michel Gaunoux Meursault 1er Cru "Perrières" (1.5L) in original wood.
Price: $375.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2015 Peter Michael "Ma Belle-Fille" Knights Valley Chardonnay (98RP, 97JS, 94VN, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Bursting forth with extravagant tropical and floral notes, the 2015 Chardonnay Ma Belle Fille has nuances of honey-nut pastry (baklava), ginger, cedar and spice cake. Medium-bodied, the pineapple and passion fruit flavor layers are lifted by a seamless backbone and supported with a decadent creaminess, finishing long and spicy. (LPB) 98+" (10/2017)
Starting Bid: $255.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Marcassin "Marcassin Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (100RP, 99JD). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Chardonnay Marcassin Vineyard, which will probably be released in a few months, displays great minerality, notes of honeysuckle, orange marmalade, poached pear, and white flowers as well as a touch of quince. A wine of great intensity, yet incredibly ethereal elegance, this light greenish gold-colored wine is full-bodied, stunningly rich, and altogether remarkable. When you consider that they use 100% new French oak and 100% heavy toast for both their Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs, it is remarkable how little oak appears in these wines. This wine should age well for 10-15 years, as most of the Marcassin Estate Chardonnays have done to date. Drink through 2031. (RP)" (03/2016)
Starting Bid: $480.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2015 Rochioli "South River" Russian River Valley Chardonnay (94RP, 94VN). Vinous: "The 2015 Chardonnay South River is rich, powerful and phenolic. Floral, savory and mineral notes are pushed forward, while the fruit is more in the background. The South River is a wine of structure above all else, and it has plenty of that. (AG)" (03/2017)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this bottle of 2009 Marcassin "Three Sisters Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (94RP, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2009 Chardonnay Three Sisters comes from volcanic and sedimentary, fragmented soils. It exhibits the classic Old Wente clone nose of white peaches, damp stones, hints of apricot and brioche, and caramelized citrus. Medium to full-bodied and pure with underlying minerality and a nice layered mouthfeel, it should drink well for a decade. (RP)" (12/2013)
Starting Bid: $100.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2009 Marcassin "Marcassin Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (98RP, 97WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Light gold in color, with an extraordinary nose of poached pears, citrus honey and a touch of orange rind, the 2009 Chardonnay Marcassin Vineyard has beautiful fruit, a full-bodied mouthfeel, penetrating acids and an underlying minerality and richness. The finish goes on for a good 40-45 seconds. This is sensational Chardonnay and very much in keeping with this vineyard. (RP)" (08/2015)
Starting Bid: $360.00

Bid on this bottle of 2001 E. Guigal "Ex-Voto" Hermitage Blanc (96RP, 93WS, 92ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A stunning effort, the 2001 Hermitage Ex-Voto blanc is an 8,000-bottle cuvee produced from 50 and 90-year old vines in Les Murets and l’Ermite vineyards; it will only be made in the greatest vintages. Aged in 100% new oak for 18 months, it is a blend of 95% Marsanne and 5% Roussanne. This fabulous white Hermitage ranks alongside Chapoutier’s limited cuvees of Le Meal, l’Ermite, and l’Oree. Guigal’s 2001 Hermitage Ex-Voto offers up stupendous aromas of white peaches, truffles, quince, and a liqueur of stones. This amazing white should drink well young, yet last 2-3 decades. (RP)" (12/2004)

Bid on this bottle of 2008 Marcassin "Marcassin Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (100RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Utterly perfect, the 2008 Chardonnay Marcassin Estate is a dead-ringer for the 2007, but slightly richer and longer, as hard as that may be to believe. This extraordinary effort is unquestionably the 'Chardonnay of the Vintage.' In fact, it may be the 'Chardonnay of the Decade.' Brioche, nectarine, citrus and orange blossom notes intermixed with a liqueur of rocks, great acid, phenomenal concentration and staggering length result in a sublime Chardonnay that should drink well for 15+ years. (RP)" (02/2011)
Starting Bid: $265.00

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2012 Joh. Jos. Prüm Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling Spätlese Mosel (94RP, 93WE, 91VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling Spätlese (AP #17 13) is more cool and mineral/stony on the nose than the Himmelreich Spätlese, but also intensely fruity at the moment, offering ripe peach, mango and pineapple aromas and crushed chocolate. Gorgeously rich, juicy and piquant on the palate, this lush and sensual Riesling seems riper and slightly sweeter, but also more intense compared with the Himmelreich. Its persistent finish is nicely mineral and salty on the aftertaste. This is a rich and potent wine with great potential. (SR)" (02/2015)
