Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2018 Aubert "Eastside Vineyard" Russian River Valley Chardonnay ((97-99RP), (95-98VN), 94JS, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Eastside is a warmer site in Russian River that is composed of very rocky, gravelly soils and planted to Montrachet clone. It is usually harvested second, after Sugar Shack. Wow—the 2018 Chardonnay Eastside has a truly compelling hazelnut/praline character with a core of spice cake, apple pie, peach preserves and clotted cream plus suggestions of cloves, allspice and brioche. Full-bodied, the palate is a powerhouse of savory layers, lifted by fantastic freshness and allowing the beautifully pristine apple and peach flavors to kick in on the long, long finish. (LPB) 97-99+" (10/2019)
Starting Bid: $500.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Aubert Chardonnay Tasting Lot, including 1-bottle of 2014 Aubert Carneros Chardonnay and 1-bottle of 2014 Aubert Sonoma Coast Chardonnay. Of the 2014 Aubert Carneros Chardonnay,A limited bottling of Carneros Chardonnay which isn't vineyard designated. Robert Parker writes of the winery writes: "It sounds like a broken record, but Mark Aubert is certainly one of a handful of California’s finest practitioners of Burgundy-styled, classic California Chardonnays... Mark Aubert had an impressive resumé long before he became this famous, mentored by Helen Turley when he was at Peter Michael, and from there spending impressive tenures at Colgin and Tom Futo’s winery before he went off bound for glory. I am a big buyer of these wines every year, and often serve the wines to strangers at charity events. They are consistently the favorites that people taste. All of Aubert’s wines tend to push about 15% natural alcohol as he is not shy about ripeness, but they also

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2009 Henri Boillot Criots-Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru (94BH, (91-94VN)). Vinous: "Lovely energy and perfume to the aromas of pineapple, citrus fruit, quinine and honey. Fat, silky and sweet but with plenty of framing minerality giving energy to the mid-palate. This really spreads out to coat the mouth. Builds nicely on the long finish, where hints of exotic fruits are enlivened by dusty minerality. (ST)" (09/2010)

Bid on this bottle of 2016 Jean-Marc Roulot Puligny Montrachet 1er Cru "Le Cailleret"
Starting Bid: $290.00

Bid on this bottle of 2017 Aubert "Eastside Vineyard" Russian River Valley Chardonnay (98RP, 98VN, 96JS). Vinous: "The 2017 Chardonnay Eastside Vineyard is one of the more overt wines in this range. Lemon confit, tangerine, marzipan, white flowers all develop in this overt, plush Chardonnay. This Russian River site, planted with Montrachet clone Chardonnay, yields wines of real distinction. The 2017 was breathtaking when I tasted it from tank prior to bottling. It is all that, and more, today. What a wine! Drink through 2031. (AG)" (05/2019)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2018 Aubert "Lauren Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay ((98-100RP), (95-98VN)). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Mark Aubert notes that this is a complex vineyard. It is planted to four different clones: two Old Wente clones, Mount Eden and Corton Charlemagne. The 2018 Chardonnay Lauren Estate explodes effortlessly from the glass, emitting flamboyant crystalized ginger, cinnamon stick, green tea and lime cordial notions with suggestions of applesauce, lemongrass, honey-roasted almonds and paraffin wax plus a touch of cedar chest. Full-bodied, the palate is wonderfully earthy/savory, delivering a beautiful oiliness to the texture juxtaposed by spine-tingling purity and freshness, finishing with epic length. (LPB)" (10/2019)
Starting Bid: $375.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Sine Qua Non "Résisté" Central Coast Proprietary White (97RP, 92VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "the 2013 White Wine Resiste is a sensational white from California that's made from 45% Roussanne, 26% Chardonnay, 14% Petite Manseng, 10% Viognier and 5% Marsanne that spent 19 months in 46% new French oak and the balance in concrete eggs and used barrels. Possessing rock-star levels of richness and texture on the palate, with full-bodied depth and power that never seems heavy or cumbersome, it has classic SQN white notes of buttered golden fruits, honeysuckle, honeycomb, toast and white flowers. Unctuous, full-flavored and still lively and fresh, it needs 2-3 years of cellaring and will keep for two decades. (JD)" (08/2015)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2005 Selbach Oster Zeltinger Sonnenuhr *** Riesling Auslese (97RP, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "If readers are getting the impression that this is the year of Schlossberg, they may well be right, but there is another block-picked but yet richer and more botrytized “three star” 2005 Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Riesling Auslese*** to consider. The scents and flavors of vanilla, nougat, butter cream, apple jelly, and honey here are themselves practically mouth-filling. Then one sips, and an incredibly dense, bright, concentrate of fruit and nut essences emerges, profoundly layered, coated with honey, vanilla cream, malt, brown spices, and honey, yet never losing a fresh-fruited core, and absolutely clear, pure, refined, and free from any blemish or roughness. It might be only once in a lifetime that a vintner can pick such a wine right off the vine, without selection, opines Johannes Selbach. The finish positively reverberates in its multiple registers agains

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2001 Dr. Fischer Ockfener Bockstein Riesling Auslese Goldkapsel Mosel. Family documents show that the Fischers' ancestors were involved in viticulture as far back as 1758. In 1950, Dr H.H. Fischer, a surgeon, inherited the estate from his father, an appointed public notary in Ockfen. Due to his medical duties in Frankfurt, Dr Fischer´s wife, Gunhild, managed the estate. The estate is well-known for their Ockfener Bockstein, which is one of the top-classified crus in the Saar. In 1964 the former Lintz estate in the nearby village of Wawern was purchased; property dating back to 1043, which was formally owned by the cathedral seminary of Trier before secularization in 1796. Today, the next generation, Karin Fischer, manages the entire estate, following the death of her husband Hans-Henning in 1999. The 2001 vintage is a classic in the greater Mosel and an auslese goldkapsel is always a special bottling.

Bid on this 375 ml 6-bottle lot of 2001 Dr. Loosen Erdener Treppchen Riesling Auslese (375ml) (93WS). Wine Spectator: "Great clarity here, along with tangy citrus, peach and honey flavors that take on an astringent edge toward the finish. Fine density, concentration and a mouthwatering finish. (BS)" (03/2003)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2018 Aubert "UV-SL Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay ((96-98RP), (94-97VN), 94JS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2018 Chardonnay UV-SL comes across as a little shy compared to the Napa Chardonnays, slowly unfurling to reveal oyster shells, peach blossoms, honeysuckle and brine notes over a core of lemon marmalade, crème brûlée and pink grapefruit plus a touch of key lime pie. Full-bodied, the palate is like a tightly coiled spring with loads of tension between the racy acid and all the taut fruit, finishing very long and very minerally. This should be very long-lived! (LPB) 96-98+" (10/2019)
Starting Bid: $300.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2018 Aubert "Powder House" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay ((96-99RP), (92-95VN)). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The second vintage of this wine, the 2018 Chardonnay Powder House comes from eight acres of what are now estate-owned vines planted in 2013, to Hyde Old Wente and Mt. Eden clones on Goldridge soils. The vineyard is located in downtown Forestville, right across from the high school. The nose bursts from the glass with notes of lemon meringue pie, lime curd, tangerine peel and candied ginger plus touches of lightly browned toast, cashews and a waft of cedar. The full-bodied palate starts out gentle and floral, expanding into a citrus explosion on the finish, featuring a wicked backbone of freshness and loads of compelling savory sparks that will keep you coming back for more. (LPB)" (10/2019)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2002 Domaine Bouchard Père et Fils Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru (96BH, 94ST, 92WS, 91W&S). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "The expressive nose is now fully mature with notes of wet stone, soft white orchard fruit and green apple hints that introduce beautifully detailed and still impressively intense medium-bodied flavors that have mellowed considerably, all wrapped in a balanced, long and attractively vibrant finish that is tangy, clean and dry. I quite like the sense of refinement as this is at once classy and pure. While the '02 Corton-Charlemagne will certainly hold at this level for years to come, for my taste it has arrived at the front edge of its peak drinkability. Lovely juice." (01/2014)
Starting Bid: $270.00

Bid on this bottle of 2009 Domaine Leroy Bourgogne Aligote. While Chardonnay may be the most famous white varietal in Burgundy, there is another: Aligoté. Recorded in Burgundy in the 1700s, Aligoté was once widely planted, but almost died out in the early 20th century after the 19th century phylloxera epidemic wiped out most of the vineyards. It is undergoing a renaissance in the 21st century.
Starting Bid: $70.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1976 von Plettenberg Kreuznacher Brückes Riesling Auslese. The Counts of Plettenberg own extensive vineyards in the Nahe, stretching from Bad Kreuznach to Roxheim. 1976 was a renowned vintage in Germany, producing incredibly ripe wines of great sweetness and depth after a warm summer and widespread healthy botrytis at harvest. Von Plettenberg's Auslese is a good example of how such wines can age.
Starting Bid: $180.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2007 Dr. F. Weins-Prüm Erdener Prälat Riesling Auslese Auction Mosel. 91 points Mosel Fine Wines: "16 08. This is made in the typical lighter style that Bert Selbach enjoys and it has a difficult time to show its potential in the middle of all the powerhouses. Still, this is a nicely balanced wine that lacks for the moment some flavor precision on the nose but offers a sappy fresh finish. It is a true deliciously light Auslese that should develop very well over the coming years. Now-2020+" (Jean Fisch and David Rayer, 10/2008)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1979 Mayacamas Napa Valley Chardonnay (91WS). Wine Spectator: "Dark, immense and detailed, an outstanding Mayacamas, with rich earthy currant, black cherry, mineral, anise, sage and cedar flavors, holding its flavor and focus. Could go another 10 years. (JL)" (08/1999)
Starting Bid: $225.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2009 Domaine Bouchard Père et Fils Meursault 1er Cru "Perrieres" (OWC - (91-94BH), 93VN, 92RP, 92W&S) in original wood. Allen Meadows - Burghound: "A ripe yet airy and quite cool nose of indisputable class reflects notes of citrus, stone and white flowers that serve as a graceful preface for the intensely mineral-driven, tension-filled and chiseled flavors that possess sneaky power and outstanding length. There is notably more acidity here than in the Genevrières and better persistence as well. *Sweet spot Outstanding*" (02/2011)
Starting Bid: $480.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2018 Aubert "CIX" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay ((97-99RP), (94-97VN), 95WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "CIX stands for 109, because this was originally called “Parcel 109” when Aubert bought the vineyard. Planted in 2008 to Montrachet clone, the 2018 Chardonnay CIX Estate slips sensuously from the glass with beguiling scents of apple blossoms, honeysuckle and orange peel over a core of ripe Bosc pears, coriander seed, white pepper and shaved almonds plus a touch of talc. Full-bodied, rich and seductive, it has seamless freshness and the most beautifully perfumed personality, finishing long and fragrant. (LPB)" (10/2019)
Starting Bid: $300.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2017 Kistler "Vine Hill Vineyard" Russian River Valley Chardonnay (97JD, 96RP, 96VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "From a 16-acre site in the Russian River Valley, the 2017 Chardonnay Vine Hill Vineyard offers a fresh, racy profile that carries stunning intensity in its crisp citrus, charcoal, and white flower aromas and flavors. With incredible elegance, high yet integrated acidity, and focused, crystalline texture, this is one for the Chablis lovers out there." (06/2019)
Starting Bid: $300.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2001 Joh. Jos. Prüm Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling Auslese Mosel (96WS, 92VN). Wine Spectator: "Piercing scent of slate, then the palate is awash in peach, pear and lime notes, intricately layered in the dense, yet clear texture. Beautifully defined by a firm, well-integrated structure, with an endless finish. (BS)" (03/2003)
Starting Bid: $300.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2004 Henri Boillot Meursault 1er Cru "Les Charmes" (93ST, 92BH). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Pure aromas of pineapple and lemon. Thick and plump but with a powerful minerality to the pineapple and wet stone flavors. A generous, tactile '04 that combines outstanding sucrosity with ripe, harmonious acids. Finishes with superb length. I would have picked this blind as a Perrieres. Boillot offered the opinion that 2004 was a great year for Charmes. (ST)" (09/2006)
Starting Bid: $180.00

Bid on this 4-half-bottle lot of 2001 Schlossgut Diel Dorsheimer Burgberg Riesling Auslese Gold Capsule (375ml) (94WS). Wine Spectator: "Terrific. A rich wine with muted flavors of spice, vanilla, passion fruit and pastry shot through with searing acidity. Intense, with concentrated flavors and a delicate frame." (03/2003)
Starting Bid: $120.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Domaine Roulot Meursault "Meix Chavaux" ((88-91BH), 91RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Roulot’s 2007 Meursault Meix Chavaux is overtly chalky as well as saline, with bright citrus akin to that of the Luchets and lemon pip and peach kernel whose bitterness adds to the wine’s sense of austerity. But this has a formidable sense of density, suggestions of ripe white peach, and an integrated sense to its citric, pit fruited, bitter, and stony aspects that engenders a vigorous counterpoint, carrying into a long, invigoratingly oscillating finish." (12/2009)
Starting Bid: $430.00
