The winery does not make rosé every vintage, because the winemaker (the late Serge Hochar) sought very specific characteristics from the grapes he uses to create a fine, delicate and elegant rosé. The wine is composed of the indigenous Lebanese grapes Obaideh (55-65%) and Merwah (30-40%), thought to be ancestors of Chardonnay and Semillon, and a small amout of Cinsault.
