Bid on this magnum of 2014 Opus One Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (1.5L) (97JS, 96DC, 96RP, 96VN, 93WS). James Suckling: "Mesmerizing aromas of flowers, bark, currants and blackberries. So perfumed. You just want to smell it. Exquisite tension and finesse with an almost Burgundian texture, yet it’s Napa in its soul with ripe fruit, stones, spices and Chinese tea leaf flavors. Savory and delicious" (06/2017)
Starting Bid: $575.00

Bid on this 1.5 liter 2-bottle lot of 2009 Doisy Vedrines, Sauternes (1.5L) (95VN, 94WS, 93RP, 92JS). Vinous: "The 2009 Doisy-Védrines has a gorgeous bouquet with passion fruit, quince, beeswax and light figgy aromas that are well defined and gain intensity with aeration. The palate is very well balanced with a fine bead of acidity that cuts through the pure botrytised fruit and leads to a gorgeous viscous finish. Olivier Castèja made a fabulous Barsac this year. Tasted blind at Farr Vintners’ 2009 Bordeaux tasting. (NM)" (03/2019)
Starting Bid: $140.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2016 Vieux Château Certan, Pomerol (100JD, 100RP, 100VN, 99JS, 98WE, 97DC, 97WS). Vinous: "I have been fortunate to follow the 2016 Vieux Château Certan almost from the beginning, starting with a tasting of several lots from barrel in early January 2017, in which Alexandre and Guillaume Thienpont showed me the wines in a sequence arranged by the year of planting of various parcels. Even then, it was clear, the 2016 had the potential to be a majestic wine. Now, from bottle, it is every bit as captivating as early tastings suggested it would be. Sweet red/purplish berry fruit, lavender, rose petal and spice infuse this exquisitely beautiful, layered Pomerol. Alexandre Thienpont adds that the harvest was saved by September rains that gave the parched vines just enough water to restore some of the balance that had been lost earlier in the season. Put simply, the 2016 VCC has it all. (AG)" (01/2019)

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Schrader "Beckstoffer Las Piedras - LPV" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98JS, 95WS, 94RP). James Suckling: "A very rich and dense red with blueberry and chocolate character. Full-bodied, very silky and refined. Wonderful depth and length. Held back and pretty. Elegance and beauty for a Schrader. " (07/2015)
Starting Bid: $185.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2017 Cayuse "Bionic Frog" Walla Walla Valley Syrah (98JD, 98JS, 98RP, 96VN, 95WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Part of the magic that happens with the 2017 Syrah Bionic Frog is that it is opaque with neon purple edges without being inky and massive. With classic Syrah tones of smoked meat, leather, lavender, lilac and black pepper, the wine is rich with aromas of blackberry, black raspberry and smoked plum. Medium to full-bodied, the wine explodes with intention and precision on the palate, with an immaculate balance and crystal-clear focus. Brilliantly structured, the wine continues to evolve with subtle and seamlessly integrated spice tones compounded by a mineral tension and a floral lift to make this wine float across the mid-palate. The wine glides effortlessly to a long, winding finish with persistence and the elegance of silk. The vibrancy of flavor remains in the mouth long after the wine has left. (AM)" (08/2020)
Starting Bid: $380.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2019 Aubert "UV-SL Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay ((96-98RP), (95-97VN), 96WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A barrel sample, the 2019 Chardonnay UV-SL opens with compelling floral notes—honeysuckle and lime blossoms—over a core of red apples, green guava and honeydew melon with underlying suggestions of baking bread, allspice and marzipan. The full-bodied palate has a pleasant hint of phenolic grip to the texture with seamless acidity supporting the densely laden apple and tropical fruit flavors, finishing long and yeasty/toasty. (LPB)" (01/2021)
Starting Bid: $300.00

Bid on this bottle of 1976 E. Guigal "La Mouline" Côte-Rôtie (100RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1976 is even thicker, richer, and more jammy than some of the other great vintages of La Mouline. In essence, it is something between a dry red table wine and a vintage port. Of course it is not sweet, but it is so concentrated; one simply does not see wines such as this except for 1947 Petrus or 1947 Cheval Blanc. The wine has thrown a couple of ounces of sediment. It offers a heavenly bouquet of sweet, floral-infused black-raspberry/cassis fruit. Extremely unctuous and viscous, with mind-boggling concentration, this wine has always been exceptional to drink, but it continues to defy the aging curve. I have drunk my last bottle, so I am dependent on friends for future tastings. This is one of the legendary wines of the century! (RP)" (01/1997)
Starting Bid: $2,400.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2001 Paraduxx Napa Valley Red Blend (90WS). Wine Spectator: "This is a rich, polished, harmonious style that's a successful blend of Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon. It exhibits pretty smoky, toasty oak and layers of currant, sage, herb flavors that fill in lots of flavor gaps. Mouthcoating, with a long, persistent finish that echoes currant, oak and cedary notes. (JL)" (11/2004)
Starting Bid: $60.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2015 Promontory Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (OWC - 99JS, 98JD, 98RP, 98VN) in original wood. James Suckling: "Insane aromas of lavender, blackberries, wet earth and ripe yet fresh fruit. Full body with very deep fruit, pine needles and hints of chocolate and cedar. Very long and wonderfully polished. This has wonderful depth and focus." (02/2019)
Starting Bid: $1,800.00

Bid on this bottle of 1995 Château Montus "Cuvée Prestige" Madiran ((94-96RP), 90WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: ". . . the 1995 Montus Cuvee Prestige, a 100% Tannat (the local grape), aged in 100% new oak. . . is a tannic wine, although this is not a wine that is harsh and astringent without the balancing fruit. The color is an opaque black. The wine possesses a magnificent, sweet, pure nose of cassis, black plums, and subtle new oak notes. Extraordinarily deep and full-bodied, with layers of concentrated, jammy fruit, a formidable tannin level, and a monster finish, this is unquestionably one of the great 1995s (and I am including all my top picks from Bordeaux). Do not be surprised if it outlives anything produced by Montus's more renowned siblings to the north. (RP)" (08/1996)
Starting Bid: $65.00

Bid on this bottle of 2001 Joseph Phelps "Insignia" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (98RP, 96WE, 95VN, 95W&S, 93CG). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Still a young wine at age 12, the 2001 Insignia exhibits a dense purple color along with a sweet bouquet of camphor, blackberries, cassis, incense and spring flowers. Full-bodied, rich and heady with sweet tannin, stunning concentration and a fabulous finish, this remarkable Insignia has 25 or more years of life ahead of it. (RP) 98+" (11/2013)
Starting Bid: $190.00

Bid on this 2-magnum lot of 2016 Canon, St-Emilion (1.5L) (98RP, 98WE, 97DC, 97JS, 96JD, 95VN, 95WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Composed of 74% Merlot and 26% Cabernet Franc and aged for 18 months in 70% new French barriques, the 2016 Canon is medium to deep garnet-purple in color, and--WOW--it opens with the most stunning perfume of violets, red roses and kirsch, giving way to a core of black cherry preserves, chocolate box, licorice, warm plums and Chinese five spice plus an earthy waft of underbrush. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is completely filled with expressive, perfumed black berry layers accented by lively red fruits and exotic spices, supported by impressively fine-grained tannins and fantastic tension, finishing very long with jaw-dropping energy. (LPB) 98+" (11/2018)

Bid on this 3-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2014 Favia "Rompecabezas" Amador County Rhône Blend (92WS, 91VN), 1-bottle of 2015 Favia "Rompecabezas" Amador County Rhône Blend (94RP, 93JD, 93JS, 92VN, 92WS), and 1-bottle of 2016 Favia "Rompecabezas" Amador County Rhône Blend (94JD, 93RP, 93WS, 92VN). Of the 2015 Favia "Rompecabezas" Amador County Rhône Blend,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "Rompecabezas means "jigsaw puzzle" in Spanish—this is a GSM blend made up of 40% Mourvédre, 32% Grenache and 28% Syrah. . . Pale to medium garnet-purple colored, the 2015 Rompecabezas Red Wine opens with smoked meats, black raspberries, Black Forest cake and spice cake with earthy nuances of truffles, underbrush and tar plus a waft of violets. Medium to full-bodied, the palate dances with red and black fruits plus plenty of spice and earth accents, framed by lovely plush tannins and plenty of freshness, finishing long and savory. (LPB)" (12/2018)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2017 JCB "Surrealist" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (98JD, 96RP). Jeb Dunnuck: "One of the standouts is the 2017 Surrealist Red Blend and I’d put this up against anything in the vintage. A blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Petit Verdot that spent 18-20 months in 54% new French oak, this full-bodied, rich, powerful wine has a terrific, seamless texture, fine tannins, and a rocking nose of cassis, dried herbs, new saddle leather, and toasted spices. I love its balance, it has a great mid-palate, and it’s going to evolve for 20+ years." (01/2020)
Starting Bid: $450.00

Bid on this 3 liter 1-bottle lot of 1997 Buehler "Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (3L) (92WS). Wine Spectator: "Rich and concentrated, with tiers of currant, black cherry, mocha and wild berry, holding on to a sharply focused core of fruit and finishing long. (JL)" (11/2000)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2015 Antinori "Tignanello" Toscana (98JS, 98VN, 97WS, 96RP, 95WE, 94W&S). Vinous: "Once again, the 2015 Tignanello is stunning. Sweet, floral notes give the 2015 striking aromatic intensity to play off a core of red Sangiovese fruit. In 2015, the Sangiovese is a bit higher than the norm, which comes through in the wine's flavor profile. The tannins are also a bit biting at this stage, but that won't be an issue in time. Bright red cherry, plum, blood orange mint and sweet floral notes build into a finish laced with energy and tension. The 2015 is utterly captivating. That's all there is to it. (AG)" (08/2019)

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Margaux, Margaux (96RP, 95WE, 95WS, 94JS, 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Tasted blind at the 2012 Southwold tasting, the 2012 Château Margaux has a taut, linear, pencil lead-infused bouquet with pure blackberry and boysenberry scents, an undercurrent of tobacco that surfaces after five minutes in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, crisp acidity, a life-affirming sense of balance with well-integrated new oak towards the finish. I concur with Robert Parker that his has become more structured and masculine in bottle, yet there is pedigree here from start to finish, a sense of effortlessness that is seductive. This is a top-class wine from the late Paul Pontallier and his team. Tasted January 2016. (NM)" (10/2016)
Starting Bid: $411.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1998 Mauro Veglio "Arborina" Barolo ((91-93RP), 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Layered as well as full-bodied, the 1998 Barolo Arborina boasts a sweet attack and an intense perfume of licorice, tobacco, black fruits, smoked herbs, and toasty oak. This dark garnet-colored, pure, seductive, rich Barolo is nearly exotic. " (10/2001)
Starting Bid: $120.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2015 Hall "Eighteen Seventy-Three" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (93VN, 93WS, 90WE). Vinous: "The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon 1873 is a gorgeous, mid-tier offering from Hall that draws fruit from a number of estate and grower parcels mainly in Rutherford, Howell Mountain and Atlas Peak. Pliant and racy, with plenty of forward fruit and soft contours, the 1873 is a terrific choice for drinking now and over the next few years. Kirsch, white chocolate, sweet spice and floral notes add to the wine's racy personality. (AG)" (12/2018)
Starting Bid: $155.00

Bid on this bottle of 2017 Harvey & Harriet (My Favorite Neighbor) Paso Robles Red Blend (95JD, 94RP, 93VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "It offers a richer, powerful style as well as Napa Cabernet-like notes of black and blue fruits, scorched earth, crushed rocks, and violets. Rich, full-bodied, beautifully concentrated, and voluptuous on the palate, it's more approachable than the flagship Cabernet Sauvignon, but I wouldn't bet against it aging just as long." (10/2019)
Starting Bid: $35.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2011 Myriad "Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (93VN). Vinous: "The 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard is super-impressive. Pliant and generous on the palate, the 2011 offers notable depth, no hard edges and fabulous purity of fruit, all extremely rare at this level in 2011, a cold, late-ripening vintage. Then again, Dr. Crane, a valley site in St. Helena, is one of Napa Valley's top vineyards. Sweet red plum, rose petal, spice and mint wrap around the open-knit finish. (AG)" (08/2015)
Starting Bid: $255.00

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2000 Reignac, Bordeaux Supérieur (92RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "An amazing accomplishment for a Bordeaux Superieur, Reignac's 2000, a blend of 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, cropped at 25 hectoliters per hectare and aged 100% on its lees in new oak, exhibits an opaque ruby/purple color, an impressively complex nose of black currants intermixed with graphite, vanilla, and cedar. The wine is medium to full-bodied, dense, rich, and the qualitative equivalent of a top classified growth from the Medoc. Another 2000 that has to be tasted to be believed, it should drink well for 8-10 years, possibly longer. A revelation! (RP)" (04/2003)
Starting Bid: $125.00

Bid on this bottle of 1996 Pontet-Canet, Pauillac (93VN, 91WS). Vinous: "One or two people had suggested that this might be past its best; after all, it predates the innovations and application of biodynamics overseen by Alfred Tesseron by several years. On the contrary, it has aged beautifully. Cedar, scorched earth and mint blossomed on a nose that is firmly into its secondary phase, yet laden with more fruit than expected considering both its age and the austere style of Left Bank 1996s. The palate might be nearing the end of its drinking plateau, so don’t hold back if you own a few bottles. But I admired its balance and density, its structure and classicism, and the typical Pauillac traits of cedar and a touch of mint toward the finish. I savored it down to the last drop. (NM)" (09/2020)
Starting Bid: $87.00

Bid on this 4-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2013 Thomas Dundee Hills Pinot Noir (92VN) and 3-bottles of 2014 Thomas Dundee Hills Pinot Noir (95DC, 93VN). Of the 2014 Thomas Dundee Hills Pinot Noir, Decanter writes: "A lovely bouquet of red fruit, orange rind, rich soil and dried ceps is framed by new oak, introducing a full-bodied, elegantly ripe rendition of this elusive wine. It is structured around fine, chalky tannins and a deep and juicy core. Characterful, complex and ageworthy, even in a warm and comparatively facile vintage, this wine deserves its reputation as one of Oregon's greatest Pinot Noirs. (WK)"
Starting Bid: $215.00

Bid on this bottle of 2013 Schrader "Beckstoffer Las Piedras - LPV" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97JS, 94RP, 94WS). James Suckling: "Amazing aromas of hot stone, iodine, black currants and blackberries. Full body, super polished tannins that highlight the dark fruits, plus white pepper, salt and fruit character. Precise and focused." (05/2016)
Starting Bid: $185.00

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2007 Château Montelena "Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95RP, 95VN, 92JS, 92WE). Vinous: "Bright ruby-red. Slightly jammy aromas of blackberry, cassis and cherry complemented by spice and cedar nuances. Wonderfully sweet and mouthfilling but not a bit weighty, with its dark berry, spice and tobacco flavors firmed by medicinal menthol and mint notes. This suave, fine-grained beauty can be enjoyed now owing to its superb balance but it also has the penetration and cut to go on for another 20 years. Winemaker Matt Crafton describes 2007 as 'a Goldilocks vintage,' with long, slow ripening, no weather extremes and full flavor development. Finishes very long, with wonderfully suave tannins and no shortage of structure. (ST)" (05/2019)
Starting Bid: $450.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2019 Alban "Estate Vineyard" Edna Valley Viognier ((92-94JD), 94RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2019 Viognier Estate is delicately styled this vintage, with bright orange peel, jasmine and peach aromas, a silky texture and lively, shimmering mineral character in the mouth. This finish is long and pure and suggests it may evolve in bottle over the next 2-3 years. Alban's Viognier from Edna Valley shows so much poise and class and is the antithesis of the riper style often found in California. 525 cases were made. (EB)" (02/2021)
Starting Bid: $135.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2008 Cos d'Estournel, St-Estèphe (95JD, 95RP, 95WE, 94JS, 94VN, 92ST, 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The medium to deep garnet colored 2008 Cos d'Estournel is blended of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Merlot and 2% Cabernet Franc. Pow! The nose explodes with notes of baked cherries, preserved plums, fried herbs, beef drippings and warm cassis with wafts of wood smoke, salami and tobacco leaf. Medium-bodied, the palate is elegant and earthy/savory in character, sporting beautifully ripe, grainy tannins and bags of freshness, finishing on a lingering mineral note. (LPB)" (11/2018)

Bid on this bottle of 2005 Silver Oak Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (91ST, 90DC, 90W&S). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Good deep red-ruby. Musky aromas of cassis, licorice, game, tobacco leaf and subtle brown spices. Velvety-sweet and deep, with hints of tobacco leaf, mint and herbs giving definition to the middle palate. Nicely bright but youthfully tight wine, finishing with broad tannins. Carrying a moderate 13.5% alcohol. Still tight, but then this won't be released until next winter. (ST) 91+" (05/2009)
Starting Bid: $87.00

Bid on this bottle of 1997 Silver Oak Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94RP, 90ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1997 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa looks to be one of the finest wines made by the winemaking team of proprietor Justin Meyer and winemaker/viticulturist Daniel Baron. The 1997 Napa is an impressive effort. A blend of 93% Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest 5% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot, this wine has a flamboyant nose of fruitcake, licorice, Asian spice, black currants, and toasty wood. Deep, opulent, viscous, intense, chewy, and thick, it is a classic Napa Cabernet Sauvignon made in an all-American oak lovers' style. (RP)" (12/2000)
Starting Bid: $94.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Saxum "Paderewski Vineyard" Paso Robles Red Blend (98JD, 95VN, 95WS, 94RP). Jeb Dunnuck: "Checking in as a final blend of 30% Mourvèdre, 22% Zinfandel, 13% Syrah, 13% Tempranillo and the balance Grenache and Petite Sirah, the 2014 Paderewski Vineyard is as voluptuous and decadent as it gets. Plum sauce, exotic spices, white pepper, candy corn and spring flowers, it hits the palate with a broad, expansive, sexy style, ripe tannin, no weight and a blockbuster finish. It’s so well balanced and seamless, it can come across as a touch easy, yet it has terrific complexity, good mid-palate density and a great, great finish. This is what great wine is all about. Drink it anytime over the coming decade." (08/2017)
Starting Bid: $175.00

Bid on this bottle of 2014 Penultimate (Promontory) Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (96VN). Vinous: "The 2014 Penultimate is a wine of magnificent finesse and nuance, the same qualities that make Promontory so special in this vintage. There is a feeling of translucence that runs through the 2014 that is so compelling. Dried herbs, mint, leather, smoke, tobacco and wild dark cherry are some of the many notes that flesh out with time in the glass. I especially admire the wine’s tension, vibrancy and phenomenal finish. The 2014 is so impressive upon opening, but then shuts down quickly in the glass. A few more years in bottle will help soften the noble mountain tannins. (AG)" (09/2020)
Starting Bid: $245.00

Bid on this 6 liter 1-bottle lot of 1997 Louis Martini "Monte Rosso" Sonoma Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (6L) (OWC - 95RP) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "With 14.5% natural alcohol, this dense ruby/purple-colored blockbuster boasts rich creme de cassis and dusty, loamy soil notes intermixed with cedar, tobacco leaf and forest floor. This full-bodied, opulent, sexy 1997 is still very youthful with two decades of life ahead of it. Anticipated Maturity: now-2030+. 95+ (RP)" (08/2012)
Starting Bid: $325.00

Bid on this bottle of 1981 Léoville-Las Cases, St-Julien (90WS). Wine Spectator: "Crisp and elegant, a nicely crafted wine, with tobacco- and cedar-scented blackberry, currant and cherry flavors. Beautifully balanced and superbly crafted, lacking only the depth the better vintages have. (HS)" (02/1992)
Starting Bid: $100.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2011 Domaine Marquis d'Angerville Volnay 1er Cru "Taillepieds" ((92-94BH), 90ST). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "Aromatically speaking this is almost a hypothetical blend of the Frémiets and Caillerets with its perfumed and moderately high-toned red currant nose that unveils notes of spice, stone and violets. The strikingly pure, delineated and energetic middle weight flavors display outstanding precision on the almost pungently mineral-driven, balanced and hugely long finish. This is a classic Taillepieds and while there is some of the hallmark austerity present, it is somewhat less than I'm used to seeing in this wine. A knockout but note that patience will be required. *Sweet Spot, Outstanding* " (04/2013)
Starting Bid: $141.00

Bid on this magnum of 2010 Saxum "Broken Stones" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (1.5L) (96JD, 96RP, 94ST, 93VN, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Even more perfumed and up-front aromatically, the 2010 Broken Stones is a brilliant effort. A multi-vineyard blend of 63% Syrah, 19% Mourvedre, 15% Grenache, and 3% Petite Sirah that was aged mostly in new French oak, it offers up a gorgeously pure array of black raspberry, charcoal, licorice, lavender, and assorted floral qualities on the nose. This flows to a full-bodied, deft, and elegant palate that has no hard edges, a weightless feel, and masses of fine, yet firm tannin on the finish. (JD)" (06/2014)
Starting Bid: $145.00

Bid on this bottle of 2013 Hundred Acre "Ark Vineyard" Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Ark Vineyard has a deep garnet color and nose of crème de cassis, blueberry compote and candied violets with hints of red roses, chocolate mint, stewed tea and yeast extract plus a hint of cumin. Full-bodied, rich and velvety, the palate is completely packed with spicy fruit, finishing with lingering earthy notes. (LPB)" (12/2018)
Starting Bid: $410.00

Bid on this bottle of 2007 Screaming Eagle Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 100VN, 96JS, 96WS). Vinous: "As impossible as it might seem, the 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon takes things to another level. An exquisite, celestial bouquet melds into endless layers of fruit as this rich, voluptuous wine blossoms on the palate. Full-bodied and seductive, the 2007 conquers all of the senses with its head spinning, beautiful personality. As always, Screaming Eagle is a bit more restrained next to Napa Valley's other heavy hitters, yet the pedigree of this opulent vintage comes through in spades. A kaleidoscope of aromas and flavors flows through to the creamy, textured finish. I have tasted the 2007 several times recently and it has always been magnificent. The 2007 appears to be shutting down just a touch, but that is probably a good thing for the future. (AG)" (12/2012)
Starting Bid: $3,470.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Pax "Griffin's Lair" Sonoma Coast Syrah ((92-94RP), 93VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Griffin’s Lair Vineyard, again with 100% stems, was primary with damp earth, pepper, meat and black cherry and blackcurrant fruit. (RP)" (12/2014)
Starting Bid: $80.01

Bid on this bottle of 2008 Screaming Eagle Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97JS, 96VN, 95RP, 94WS). James Suckling: "This has a wonderful balance to it. It shows intense aromas of flowers and dark fruits with hints of incense and sandalwood. Changes all the time. Then goes to currants and flowers. Full and firm with a wonderful core of silky tannins that are polished and beautiful. Dark chocolate, vanilla bean, and dark fruit. Solid and firm. You could easy drink this but it has structure for aging as well. 88% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Caberent Franc and 5% Merlot. " (06/2011)
Starting Bid: $1,905.00

Bid on this 3-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2018 Aubert "Hudson" Carneros Chardonnay (97RP, (94-97VN)), 1-bottle of 2018 Aubert "Larry Hyde and Sons" Carneros Chardonnay ((97-99RP), 98JD, (93-96VN), 93WS), and 1-bottle of 2018 Aubert Carneros Chardonnay. Of the 2018 Aubert "Larry Hyde and Sons Vineyard" Carneros Chardonnay,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "One of the last vineyards picked, this section of Hyde vineyard in Carneros is planted to Corton Charlemagne clone on St. George rootstock. The 2018 Chardonnay Larry Hyde & Sons leaps from the glass with vivacious fresh grapefruit, lemon peel, orange blossoms and lime cordial notes with nuances of fresh ginger, hay, sea spray and chalk dust. The full-bodied mouth explodes with the whole citrus-fruit flavor spectrum—lemons, limes, oranges and grapefruit on steroids—complemented by loads of spicy sparks and lifted by amazing freshness, sporting a provocatively creamy texture and finishing long. (LPB)" (10/2019)
Starting Bid: $293.00

Bid on this bottle of 1978 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, 95JG, 93VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The wine offers up a rich and kaleidoscopically complex bouquet of black truffles, dark chocolate, black currants, pencil shavings and Egyptian musk. On the palate, it's full-bodied, layered and complete, with ripe, melting tannins, an ample core of fruit and a long, tangy finish. It gets better and better with air. The 1978 is a touch more savory and a little less lavishly textural than the 1974, but the two are very close in ultimate quality. Connoisseurs will be interested to learn that a portion of the 1978 was rebottled due to an incomplete malolactic fermentation: antique olive bottles indicate the rebottled 1978, whereas the original bottles are in Champagne green. This tasting note refers to a pristine example of the former, but the original bottling is reputed to be even better today. (WK)" (05/2018)

Bid on this bottle of 2015 Scarecrow Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (99RP, 98JD, 98VN, 96WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Produced from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon leaps from the glass with gorgeous floral notes of red roses and lilacs over a core of black and red cherries, crushed black currants and baking spices plus hints of iron ore and dusty earth. The voluptuous, rounded, soft and sexy fruit slinks across the palate with incredible seamlessness and expression. Make no mistake, it is full-bodied and decadently powerful, but with a myriad of aromatic nuances, finishing long, layered and boldly perfumed. (LPB)" (10/2017)

Bid on this bottle of 2014 Rhys "Horseshoe Vineyard" Santa Cruz Mountains Syrah (96VN, 94JG). Vinous: "The 2014 Syrah Horseshoe Vineyard is a magical wine. Interestingly, the Syrah shares much with the Pinot off this site in its structural feel and dark flavor profile. Inky blue/purplish fruit, herbs, crème de cassis, spice, lavender and mint are all beautifully delineated. Beams of supporting tannin give the wine its shape and overall intensity, yet the 2014 retains a super-classic, Santa Cruz Mountains feel of almost deceptively mid-weight structure. The 2014 was done with 100% whole clusters. Malolactic fermentation was done in steel, the wine then spent a year in barrique followed by a year in 25HL cask. What a gorgeous wine this is. Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2011 Ridge Vineyards "Estate" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (93DC, 92VN, 91W&S). Decanter: "Maturing aromas of milk chocolate, toffee, black cherry and red plum. It is red-fruited, soft and charming on the palate, displaying flavours of pomegranate, dried rosemary and coffee beans. Ridge’s classic styling plays into the hands of the vintage, emphasising the intrinsic characteristics of the 82% of Cabernet Sauvignon in the blend, alongside 14% Merlot, 3% Petit Verdot and 1% Cabernet Franc." Bid on this bottle of 1966 Latour, Pauillac (96JG, 96RP, 95VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1966 Latour remains an exemplar of the vintage, certainly one of the best, if not the best Left Bank wine of the vintage. Here, served blind, its quality was a beacon, quintessentially Pauillac with that trademark graphite seam through the intense black fruit, cold stone and a touch of tobacco. It remains undimmed by its age (though this was served from a magnum of impeccable provenance). The palate is medium-bodied and that graphite theme continues unabated, flanked by beautiful, precise and pure vestiges of black fruit. 'Pure class' are the final two words of my tasting note and at 50 years old, they sum up this immensely impressive Château Latour. Tasted September 2016. (NM)" (10/2016)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1986 Margaux, Margaux (98VN, 97RP, 95WS). Vinous: "The 1986 Château Margaux was even more emotionally moving. Still incredibly youthful, it showed incredible focus and depth, all backed up by considerable structure. As hard as it may seem to believe, on this night the 1986 appeared to still be some years away from peaking. It was striking in every way. (AG) 98+" (02/2012)

Bid on this 4-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2002 Dominus Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (99RP, 94W&S), 1-bottle of 2003 Dominus Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (95RP), 1-bottle of 2004 Dominus Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (97RP, 95CG, 94VN, 93WS, 92W&S), and 1-bottle of 2005 Dominus Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (98RP, 95VN, 94ST, 92CG, 92WE). Of the 2002 Dominus Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "A flawless, seamless integration of tannin, wood, alcohol and acidity is found in this dense, plum/purple-colored Dominus, along with copious notes of sweet black currants interwoven with kirsch, forest floor, unsmoked cigar tobacco, new saddle leather and forest floor. Full-bodied with velvety tannins, stunning elegance and a 45-second finish, this sensational 2002 rivals two of the all-time great wines made at Dominus, 1991 and 1994. (RP)" (06/2012)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (98VN, 96JS, 96RP, 94DC, 94WS, 93W&S). Vinous: "The 2012 Monte Bello is one of the most harmonious young Monte Bellos I can remember tasting. Seamless and voluptuous through to the finish, the 2012 is showing beautifully today. Raspberry jam, pomegranate, white flowers, mint and spices are some of the many notes that flesh out in the glass. A wine with a distinctly red-hued profile, silky tannins, no hard edges and exceptional overall balance, the 2012 Monte Bello is simply magnificent. The 2012 is racy but also impeccably balanced throughout, with shades of the 2001 that come through from time to time. I won't be surprised if the 2013 and 2014 both eventually surpass it, but there is no denying that the 2012 is simply stunning today. This is one of the best showings yet for the 2012. James Suckling: "Unique aromas of blackberry, black currant, dark chocolate and walnut. Full body, very powerful and tannic. Incredible depth and power. Precise and so focused. Muscular. Great structure. This needs at least six to eight years to come together. *Top 100 of 2017*" (01/2018)
