Bid on this 1-half-bottle lot of 1988 von Hövel Oberemmeler Hütte Riesling Eiswein Mosel (375ml). The von Hövel estate is located in Konzer Tälchen (“little valley” of Konz), a side valley of the Saar river. Operations take place in a manor house that was completed in the 12th century, where it initially served as an abbey retreat for the famous wine monastery of St. Maximin in Trier. Decanter rates the 1988 vintage as an overall 4/5, but a superb year for Eiswein.
Starting Bid: $75.00

Bid on this 2-half-bottle lot of 2013 Dominus Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (375ml) (100DC, 100JS, 100RP, 100VN). Vinous: "The 2013 Dominus overwhelms all the senses with its magnificent overall balance and towering intensity. Deep and nearly impenetrable in the glass, the 2013 boasts off the charts dry extract and overall power. Violets, smoke, black cherries, menthol, incense, crème de cassis and dark spices are some of the many signatures that take shape in the glass. Even better in bottle than it was in barrel, the 2013 is utterly magnificent. This is a remarkably vivid, nuanced wine considering its sheer size. (AG)" (10/2015)
Starting Bid: $500.00

Bid on this 4-half-bottle lot of 2005 Domaine de Marcoux Châteauneuf-du-Pape (375ml) (93JD, 93RP, 92ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: 2005 was a fabulous year for Marcoux, and the 2005 Chateauneuf du Pape (80% Grenache and 20% Syrah and Cinsault) boasts a dark plum/purple color along with beautiful bouquet filled with scents of flowers, truffles, roasted meats, blueberries, black raspberries, and licorice. This opulent, intense wine possesses heady alcohol as well as a sweet, soft, full-bodied, moderately tannic finish. This beauty is one of the finest traditional cuvees made over the last decade.
