Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Myriad "Beckstoffer Georges III" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97JD, 97RP, 93JS, (91-93ST), 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "From the famous George III vineyard, the 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Georges III Vineyard has a haunting bouquet of cedar wood, juicy blackcurrant jam and forest floor. A soil note enhances the overall picture. The wine has gorgeously sweet well-integrated tannins, no evidence of new oak (as it’s so well-integrated), a plush, voluptuously textured full-bodied mouthfeel and a knockout finish. This is sensational wine that can easily be a modern-day version of one of the great BV Private Reserves from decades ago, although in this case it’s aged in French oak, not American. Kudos to Mike Smith. Look for this to drink well for 20 or more years. (RP)" (10/2014)

Bid on this 3-bottle tasting lot; including 2-bottles of 2012 Aubert Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir and 1-bottle of 2012 Aubert Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir. Of the 2012 Aubert Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir, Notes on the vintage and the winery from Antonio Galloni writes: "Mark Aubert is pretty emphatic in stating that 2012 is the greatest vintage he has seen in his 29 years of making wine. Good amounts of rain during the first part of the year put the vines in the conditions to set a healthy crop with no stress. The 2012 Chardonnays saw native fermentations that Aubert described as smooth. The wines were aged for about a year in barrel with no racking, followed by a brief period of about three months in tank prior to being bottled in December 2013. " (02/2014)

Bid on this magnum of 2012 Aubert "UV-SL Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (1.5L) (95VN). Vinous: "The 2012 Pinot Noir UV-SL Vineyard is the most complete of these Pinots. It is also by far the most intense. Dark red cherry, plum, spice and menthol notes all take shape in the glass. The style is broad, ample and super-ripe. Amazingly, with time in the glass, the wine comes together very nicely, but it really does need a lot of time. A juicy, boisterous finish rounds things out. The UV-SL is the Pinot that most clearly defines Mark Aubert's deeply personal approach to Pinot Noir. (AG)" (02/2014)

Starting Bid: $200.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Domaine Rapet Père et Fils Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru (93BH, 91WS). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "Here too there are vestiges of post-bottling sulfur that overwhelms the fruit at present. The broad-shouldered flavors are tightly coiled and highly energetic as this really vibrates in the mouth. There is excellent mid-palate density with an almost pungent minerality that adds a sense of lift to the moderately dry, highly complex and seriously long finish. This will definitely require at least 5 years of bottle age to unwind and flesh out but it should be more than worth the wait as the potential here is striking. Recommended. *Sweet Spot*" (06/2014)
Starting Bid: $200.00

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Herb Lamb ''HL Vineyards'' Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. For decades, Herb Lamb owned and farmed one of Napa's most enviable hillside properties, providing fruit for many of Napa's most acclaimed, blue-chip names. In addition, the estate produced its own impeccable wines made by the highly talented Michael Trujillo. However, a few years after Herb's death his wife Jennifer retired and the estate produced its last vintage in 2016. Winemaker Michael Trujillo's notes for the 2012 vintage: "Winemaker Michael Trujillo notes: “Even in the nose it shines, givingblack cherry and wild berry aromas. The wine is fresh and fruity, butstill shows the typical menthol, briary notes that are found in allwines from this vineyard. As it opens up in the glass, there are flavors of cigar box andvanilla, with ripe red fruits and even black olive.”
Starting Bid: $75.00

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2012 Domaine Paul Pernot Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru "Champ Canet" ((88-91ST), 90BH). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Slightly peppery aromas of lime, quinine and mint. Densely packed but with a slight green edge to the flavors of lime, mint, white flowers, crushed rock, pepper and dusty herbs. I like the wine's energy but the tart, herbal finish suggests an element of underripeness. (ST)" (09/2013)
Starting Bid: $250.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Occidental (Kistler) "SWK Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (98RP, 97VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "As good as the Cuvée Catherine is, there is another Occidental Pinot that is also profound. The 2012 Pinot Noir SWK Vineyard also comes from his 65 acres planted in Occidental. This is a 1, 000-case cuvée from a site that sits above the Bodega Headlands Vineyard. With a dark ruby color like its siblings, it is made from 100% Calera and sees only about 30% new French oak. This wine offers a copious mouthful of red, blue and black fruits, medium to full body, terrific acidity, and intense black raspberry and black cherry fruit along with spring flowers, forest floor and spice box. This is a stunning, super-complex, compelling Pinot Noir to drink over the next decade or more. (RP)" (01/2015)
