Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1998 Haut-Brion, Pessac-Léognan (99RP, 97WS, 96VN, 94ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Still incredibly youthful and sporting a lot of fruit, the deep garnet-brick colored 1998 Haut-Brion sashays out of the glass with flamboyant red and black fruits, followed by a train of cassis, blueberry pie and chocolate box notions plus accents of iron ore, dried lavender and underbrush. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is wonderfully rich and decadently seductive in its generosity of fruit and velvety texture, offering seamless freshness and finishing with epic length and compelling minerality. (LPB)" (05/2018)
Starting Bid: $1,250.00

Bid on this bottle of 2010 Smith Haut Lafitte, Pessac-Léognan (98DC, 98RP, 96WE, 96WS, 95JS, 95VN, 94ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This is an extraordinary performance once again from the Cathiard family, the proprietors of Smith-Haut-Lafitte. They think the 2010 is even better than the 2009. (I disagree, but only slightly.) This wine has laser-like definition in its an remarkable nose of a subtle charcoal fire interwoven with spring flowers, creme de cassis, blueberry liqueur and spicy wood. (RP) 98+" (02/2013)

Bid on this bottle of 2007 Haut-Brion, Pessac-Léognan (98WE, 94RP, 93JD). Wine Enthusiast: "The palate opens slowly, offering an initial citrus character, followed by wood and then, finally, wonderfully rich, but taut fruit. There is still a toast character here, with apricots and pear on top of the citrus, but it is still only just developing. In 10–15 years, it will be a magnificent wine. *Cellar Selection* (RV)" (12/2010)
Starting Bid: $330.00

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2005 Smith Haut Lafitte, Pessac-Léognan (98JD, 98RP, 95DC, 95JS, 94VN, 94W&S, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This sensational, opaque blue/purple-colored wine from Smith Haut Lafitte has a gorgeous floral nose with notes of graphite, blueberries, blackberries, and cassis that jump from the glass of this inky, very dense, yet strikingly pure wine. Light on its feet despite its stunning concentration and multi-layered mouthfeel, this wine has fabulous intensity, richness and length. Quite impressive, and still incredibly youthful, this is a superstar of the vintage, and capable of lasting another 25-30 years. (RP)" (06/2015)

Bid on this 3-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2005 Carbonnieux, Pessac-Léognan (92VN, 91CG, 91RP, 90WE) and 2-bottles of 2005 Lusseau, St-Émilion (90RP). Of the 2005 Carbonnieux, Pessac-Léognan, Vinous writes: "The 2005 Carbonniex is a gorgeous wine to drink now and over then next 10-15 years, maybe more. Time has softened the edges and given the 2005 lovely aromatic complexity. This mid-weight Pessac-Léognan isn’t a blockbuster, but it is immensely delicious today and really hitting its stride as a wine that is approaching maturity. Sweet red plum, white pepper, cedar and pipe tobacco linger on the classy, understated finish. (AG)" (04/2021)
Starting Bid: $95.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1985 Fieuzal, Pessac-Léognan (90WS). Wine Spectator: "The first in a string of outstanding wines from this estate. Still not giving much but has plenty on reserve to assure a long and excellent maturation. Shows fruity, chocolate, toasted oak aromas and flavors and super-firm fruit and tannins. (JS)" (10/1994)
Starting Bid: $120.00

Of the 1998 La Chapelle de la Mission Haut Brion, Pessac-Leognan, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "The 1998 La Chapelle de la Mission Haut-Brion is deep garnet-brick in color and very spicy on the nose, with sandalwood, baked cherries and spice cake with touches of underbrush and tapenade. Medium-bodied and velvety, it's fresh and spicy on the finish. (LPB)" (05/2018)
Starting Bid: $180.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2005 Branon, Pessac-Léognan (96RP, 92ST, 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This small jewel of a property owned by the Garcin family has been making great wine for a number of years, with the only problem being its very limited availability. Their beautifully deep 2005 has a dark purple color and displays charcoal, blackberry and cassis fruit, with some smoky barbecue notes in the background. This full-bodied, opulent wine is still youthful at age 10, and promises to continue to evolve for another 15-20 years. Pure and stunning, this is a great wine of the vintage. (RP) 96+" (06/2015)
Starting Bid: $600.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2002 Haut-Brion, Pessac-Léognan (93WS, 92ST, 91RP). Wine Spectator: "Complex aromas of blackberries, tobacco and cedar follow through to a full-bodied palate, with ripe, velvety tannins and a long, caressing finish. Very beautiful. (JS)" (03/2005)
Starting Bid: $625.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2000 Smith Haut Lafitte, Pessac-Léognan (95RP, 91WS, 90JS, 90ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Taciturn on the nose at first, but coquettishly opening up with pure red-fruits, espresso, cedar and a touch of the old dusty antique bureau. Good definition. The palate is full-bodied, firm tannins, a touch of spice on the entry, a citric thread that counterbalanced the dense, ripe black fruit. This is nowhere near ready, but all the elements are here for a great wine, with notes of blackberry, cedar, graphite wild strawberry and freshly rolled tobacco. Persistent, grippy and utterly convincing. (NM)" (09/2010)
Starting Bid: $200.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2009 Haut-Bailly, Pessac-Léognan (100JD, 100RP, 98DC, 97JS, 95WE, 94ST, 94VN, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "It goes from strength to strength, and it is not surprising that it is now one of the perfect wines of this great, great vintage the finest vintage of Bordeaux that I have tasted in 37 years covering that epicenter for world-class quality in wine. Much of it is attributable to winemaker Véronique Sanders and her boss, Robert Wilmers. Their incredibly draconian selection process and their enormous investments in both the viticulture and the estate as well as the winemaking facility have paid off brilliantly over the last decade. The 2009, which has an opaque ruby/purple color, an extraordinary nose of high-quality unsmoked cigar tobacco, graphite, blackcurrants and spice, hits the palate with a medium to full-bodied, saturated and rich mouthfeel, but an elegant and ethereal quality that is difficult to articulate. (RP)" (04/2015)

Of the 2000 Bahans de Haut-Brion, Pessac-Léognan, Vinous writes: "Good ruby-red. Smoky raspberry, ripe plum, coffee and a hint of menthol on the nose. Very sweet, fruit-driven wine, with thoroughly ripe flavors of raspberry and chocolate supported by solid backbone. Finishes with big, dusty tannins and excellent length. (ST)" (05/2003)
