Bid on this 6-bottle tasting lot; including 4-bottles of 2007 St. Clement "Armstrong Ranch" Diamond Mountain District Cabernet Sauvignon (94RP) 2-bottles of 2010 St. Clement "Armstrong Ranch" Diamond Mountain District Cabernet Sauvignon (91RP). Of the 2007 St. Clement "Armstrong Ranch" Diamond Mountain District Cabernet Sauvignon,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "An outstanding effort, the 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Armstrong Vineyard is a full-bodied, powerful Cabernet exhibiting an inky/purple color along with sweet aromas of creme de cassis, licorice, forest floor, and spring flowers. Multilayered with an endearing texture, full-bodied power, and a 40+ second finish, it is ripe and sweet enough to be accessible, but it will not hit its peak for 5-7 years, and should last for two decades. (RP)" (12/2009)
Starting Bid: $180.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2015 Opus One Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (98JS, 97RP, 97VN, 96DC). James Suckling: "Purity and brilliance on the nose with so much currant and flower character. Roses, currant bush and fresh leaves, too. Brightness is the word that comes to mind. Full-bodied and broad-shouldered. Juicy and so gorgeous now. Balance is so wonderful here. All about harmonious fruit and tannin balance. I like it slightly better than the excellent 2014. 81% cabernet sauvignon, 4% petit verdot, 7% cabernet franc, 6% merlot and 2% malbec. Drink or hold." (12/2018)
Starting Bid: $870.00

Bid on this 3-bottle tasting lot; including 2-bottles of 2009 Duckhorn Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and 1-bottle of 2010 Duckhorn Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (91WE, 90WS). Of the 2010 Duckhorn Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Wine Enthusiast writes: "Hard tannins make this wine difficult to approach now, as they usually do for young Duckhorn Cabs. But it's quite a success for the chilly 2010 vintage, showing lush blackberry and cherry fruits and fine acidity. As tough as the tannins are, they're well structured, a strong suggestion that the wine, which includes Merlot, should have an easy time aging. *Cellar Selection*" (05/2014)
Starting Bid: $115.00

Bid on this magnum of 2015 Macauley "Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) ((98-100JD), (96-100RP), 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard (97% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Cabernet Franc) is another killer effort that has perfection written all over it. Gorgeous blueberry, blackberry and cassis notes, some spring flowers and spice box are followed by an unctuously textured, full-bodied, massively fruity wine with huge sucrosity and density that make for quite a prodigious effort. (RP)" (12/2016)
Starting Bid: $275.00

Bid on this 2-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 1979 Stag's Leap Wine Cellars Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and 1-bottle of 1984 Stag's Leap Wine Cellars Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Of the 1979 Stag's Leap Wine Cellars Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Stag's Leap Wine Cellars was founded in the early 1970s by the Winiarski family on land that would eventually become part of the Stags Leap AVA in Napa Valley. They first produced Cabernet Sauvignon in 1972, and then rose to rapid fame in 1976 when their wine beat out the likes of Mouton-Rothschild and Haut-Brion at the blind Judgement of Paris tasting--an event that is widely credited with putting California's wine industry on the map.
Starting Bid: $135.00

Bid on this bottle of 2013 Hundred Acre "Deep Time - Ark" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Medium to deep garnet-purple colored, after more than three years in barrel, the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Ark Vineyard Deep Time delivers the goods with super-charged scents of warm black cherries, cassis, blueberry compote, dried mulberries and candied violets plus a provocative undercurrent of cigar box, pencil lead, tar, tapenade and anise. The rich, hedonic, full-bodied palate provides a firm, finely grained frame to support the voluptuous fruit, followed by a seamless, earth-laced finish. (LPB) 97+" (12/2018)
Starting Bid: $355.00

Bid on this 7-bottle lot of 2008 Switchback Ridge "Peterson Family Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94WE, 91ST, 91VN, 91WS, 90RP). Wine Enthusiast: "Put this Cabernet in the cellar for a while. It's dry and very tannic, yet dramatically rich in blackberries, currants, anise biscotti and smoky oak. *Cellar Selection* " (07/2011)
Starting Bid: $315.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2010 O'Shaughnessy Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 93VN, 91ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain covers every inch of the palate with layers of deep, rich, dark fruit. Blueberries, blackberries, violet and cloves seem to pop right out of the glass in this juicy, extroverted wine. Deceptively approachable, the 2010 has plenty of tannin lurking beneath its massive fruit. I would not be surprised if the 2010 shuts down in bottle. It is one of the deepest, inkiest 2010s I tasted from Howell Mountain. (AG) 96+" (12/2012)
Starting Bid: $540.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Joseph Phelps "Insignia" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (97JD, 97JS, 96RP, 96VN, 95CG, 95WE, 93WS, 92W&S). James Suckling: "Amazing aromas of blueberry, blackberry, mineral and bark. Complex nose. Full body plus super integrated tannins with superb balance and depth. Coffee and chocolate too. Very long and mind-bending. A tribute to the vintage. Drink or hold. A long life ahead of it. " (11/2015)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2014 Opus One Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (97JS, 96DC, 96RP, 96VN, 93WS). James Suckling: "Mesmerizing aromas of flowers, bark, currants and blackberries. So perfumed. You just want to smell it. Exquisite tension and finesse with an almost Burgundian texture, yet it’s Napa in its soul with ripe fruit, stones, spices and Chinese tea leaf flavors. Savory and delicious. (JS)" (01/2018)
Starting Bid: $750.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2007 Lewis Cellars "Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95WS). Wine Spectator: "Firm, rich, intense and concentrated, with a layered mix of blackberry, currant, black licorice, spice, cedary oak and mineral notes. Full-bodied, well-structured and focused, ending with a long, persistent finish. (JL)" (08/2010)
Starting Bid: $445.00

Bid on this 5-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2003 Ladera Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, 1-bottle of 2005 Ladera Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, and 3-bottles of 2006 Ladera Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Of the 2005 Ladera Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon,The first in a lineup of mountain-grown Cabernet from Ladera, a Howell Mountain winery that rehabilitated the original stone, 1886 winery building and vineyard estate founded in the 1870s. The Napa Valley bottling is sourced as a combination of their Howell Canyon estate and Lone Canyon vineyard.
Starting Bid: $165.00

Bid on this bottle of 1996 Araujo "Eisele Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94RP, 94WS, 93ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The saturated purple-colored 1996 Cabernet Sauvignon Eisele Vineyard offers an attractive nose of black fruits intermixed with toast, minerals, subtle tar, and wood smoke. Full-bodied, with impressive purity, a multi-layered mid-palate and finish, it is an expressive, pure, powerful, and large-boned wine. (RP)" (12/1999)
Starting Bid: $142.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2008 Lamborn Family Vineyards Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (94WE). Wine Enthusiast: "Tannic and closed now, this wine has a tough-as-nails astringency that brings to mind an older style of Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon, one that required many years of aging. However, this wine is considerably riper and fruitier than anything the mountain used to yield, testimony to modern growing and extractive measures. It is, in a word, delicious, with deep, long blackberry, black currant, crème de cassis and smoke flavors. But, like the 2007, it needs serious time in the cellar. Try after 2018. *Cellar Selection* " (12/2012)
Starting Bid: $165.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2018 Julien Fayard "Martinez Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97VN). Vinous: "The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Martinez Vineyard is broad and ample on the palate, with all of the natural mineral-infused breadth that is typical of this site in the Vaca Mountains. Crushed rocks, cedar, dried flowers, espresso and dark spices add layers of nuance to a core of inky dark fruit. This virile mountain Cabernet has a ton to offer. Give it a few years in bottle to soften first. (AG)" (1/2021)
Starting Bid: $425.00

Bid on this bottle of 1999 Château Montelena "Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95RP, (92-95ST), 94WS, 93VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1999 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate (an 8, 600-case cuvee made from yields of 1.98 tons of fruit per acre) is considered by Bo Barrett to be a 'great' year. The wine boasts a saturated inky/purple color as well as extraordinary density of fruit and cassis, and huge tannin, body, and extract. It is a substantial, palate-staining, long, muscular Cabernet that should only be purchased by connoisseurs with cold cellars as well as patience. The Estate Cabernet Sauvignon remains one of California's most remarkable Cabernets. I have been following it since the early seventies, and even the most difficult vintages are still drinking beautifully. The home vineyard is so consistent that even in vintages such as 1989 and 1998, this wine is far better than its competition. (RP)" (08/2002)
Starting Bid: $115.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2017 Dominus Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (98VN, 97JD, 97JS, 97RP, 96WE, 95WS). Vinous: "The 2017 Dominus is one of the truly epic, grand wines of the vintage. Rich, dense and explosive, with tremendous concentration and sheer power, the 2017 Dominus captures all the personality of this site along with the natural opulence of the year. Inky dark fruit, lavender, menthol, licorice, plum, gravel and a host of dark spice notes infuse the 2017 with seemingly endless layers of nuance. Over the last two years I have tasted several hundred Napa Valley Cabernets, both from barrel and bottle. There is no question that Dominus belongs among the elite in 2017; it is simply a breathtaking wine. Certainly readers looking for a Napa Valley Cabernet to cellar should put Dominus at the top of their lists. (AG) 98+" (01/2020)

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2017 Turnbull Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (93VN, 92JD, 91JS, 91WE). Vinous: "Turnbull's 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley) is absolutely gorgeous. Ripe, bold and plummy, with bright floral overtones and succulent red berry and plum fruit, the 2017 is a positively stellar wine. Best of all, it is a screaming value by the standards of Napa Valley Cabernet. Is there a better Napa Valley Cabernet made from estate fruit for $50 a bottle? I doubt it. (AG)" (01/2020)
Starting Bid: $135.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Alpha Omega "Beckstoffer To Kalon" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, 95JS, 95VN, 95WE, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "It seems as if everyone who draws fruit off the Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard, that great valley floor site south of St. Helena near the Mondavi winery, turns out something totally prodigious. Alpha Omega has certainly done it with their 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon. The wine has notes of blackberry, pen ink, lead pencil shavings, charcoal, unsmoked cigar tobacco, and blackberries. It is huge, massive and rich, with incredible purity, balance and overall equilibrium. The wine saturates the mouth but is not heavy and shows that extraordinary, striking purity and intensity of what we all consider a world-class, great, great wine. It is approachable now, but it really won’t hit its peak for another 7-8 years, and last three decades or more. (RP)" (10/2015)
Starting Bid: $460.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2016 Vineyard 29 "Aida Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, 96VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The deep purple-black colored 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Aida Estate Vineyard comes strutting out of the glass like a total rock star, giving up flamboyant notes of warm cassis, blueberry compote and preserved plums with exciting sparks of kirsch, red roses, oolong tea, star anise and cigar box plus a touch of underbrush. Full-bodied, rich, bold and wonderfully decadent in the mouth, it fills the palate with black fruit preserves and red berry layers, supported by a firm, grainy line and finishing very long. (LPB)" (10/2018)
Starting Bid: $780.00

Bid on this bottle of 2004 Shafer "Hillside Select" Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon (100WE, 99RP, 96VN, 96WS). Wine Enthusiast: "A perfect score has to be considered in the context of its region. Shafer’s 2004 Hillside Select is tremendous as a Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon that competes with its peers at the highest levels. It’s always a fabulous wine, but in warm 2004, Shafer’s amphitheater vineyard sheltered the grapes, ripening them to perfection yet protecting the “iron fist in a velvet glove” structure that André Tchelistcheff defined as Stags Leap. This 100% Cabernet is tremendous in cassis, black currant and mocha flavors, and the 100% new French oak provides perfect additions of smoke and caramel. It’s soft and gorgeous enough to drink now, and should age well in a cool cellar for the next 20 years." (03/2009)
Starting Bid: $250.00

Bid on this magnum of 2018 Schrader "Old Sparky" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (OWC - 100JD, 99JS) in original wood. Jeb Dunnuck: "There are few vintages of Old Sparky that don't merit a perfect rating, and the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard Old Sparky isn't one of them. This flawless wine offers up a wild smorgasbord of aromas and flavors, with loads of crème de cassis, blueberries, scorched earth, lead pencil, violets, blood orange, tobacco, and flowery incense all developing with time in the glass. Deep purple-hued and incredibly full-bodied, it has ripe, silky tannins, perfect balance, and a finish that won't quit. This magical wine stays weightless and elegant on the palate, never seeming heavy, cumbersome, or over the top, and it's a wine that just begs to be drunk yet will evolve for decades. (01/2021)
Starting Bid: $825.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2010 Realm "The Falstaff" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (93WS, 92VN, 91RP). Wine Spectator: "Sleek and seamless, exhibiting a refined, graceful mix of black fruits, with black licorice, cassis and spicy floral scents. After gliding along with a silky texture, the tannins firm up nicely on the finish. (JL)" (06/2013)
Starting Bid: $360.00

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2006 Dunn Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94RP, 91ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley is quite a bit richer than the 2005 tasted alongside it. The 2006 shows gorgeous depth as it opens up in the glass. Dark fruit, licorice, smoke and tar are some of the notes that flesh out in this broad-shouldered Cabernet Sauvignon. A creamy, textured finish rounds things out in style. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2026. (AG)" (12/2011)
Starting Bid: $350.00

Bid on this 6-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2007 St. Clement "Oroppas" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (91WE, 90RP, 89WS) and 5-bottles of 2008 St. Clement "Oroppas" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (91RP). Of the 2007 St. Clement "Oroppas" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend,Wine Enthusiast writes: "* Cellar Selection! * Continues a string of successful bottlings of this Cabernet. The flavors are strong but subtle, suggesting blackberries and black currants, with earthier notes of dark chocolate and roasted almonds. Very good, but also pretty tannic. You’ll want to cellar this for 5-6 years to let it mellow." (12/2010)
Starting Bid: $180.00

Bid on this 4-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 1973 Sterling Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and 3-bottles of 1974 Sterling Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94JG). Of the 1974 Sterling Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, John Gilman writes: "While the 1974 Sterling Reserve cabernet sauvignon is rightly recognized as one of the greatest wines of this decade in California, the regular bottling from Sterling in this vintage is often overlooked. This is unfortunate, as the quality between the two wines is not particularly large and this most recent bottle of the 1974 “regular” cabernet was absolutely brilliant! The nose soars from the glass in a youthful and vibrant blend of black cherries, woodsmoke, menthol, a great base of soil tones, hints of petroleum jelly and a bit of new wood. " (08/2018)
Starting Bid: $335.00

Bid on this bottle of 2007 Colgin "Cariad" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (100JS, 100RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "One of northern California’s watershed vintages for Bordeaux varietals, according to Allison Tauziet, this wine revealed great potential from the day the first grapes were crushed. It possesses a dense purple color, massive fruit, soft but high tannin, and a structural profile somewhat similar to the 2002. There appears to be more underlying minerality in the 2007, but the sweetness of the tannin, the enormous concentration of fruit (blackberry, blueberry, cherry) intermixed with graphite, chocolate, coffee and crushed rock characteristics is striking. This is a compelling, even prodigious wine that hits all the palate’s sweet spots, possesses phenomenal upside potential, and is a modern day legend in the making. (RP)" (06/2011)
Starting Bid: $360.00

Bid on this bottle of 2008 Dalla Valle Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94WS, 93RP, 92ST, 92VN). Wine Spectator: "Pure, rich and polished, which is unusual for this wine at this stage, since it can be quite tannic. Intense, with a fleshy, supple core of blackberry, currant, spice, mineral and wild berry flavors. Full-bodied, picking up a nice fruity lift on the finish. (JL)" (10/2011)
Starting Bid: $125.00

Bid on this magnum of 1996 Stag's Leap Wine Cellars "Fay Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L). The Fay vineyard was established by Nathan Fay in 1961. This historic vineyard's soils, a combination of rich, waterborne alluvial earth and volcanic rock, have yielded wines marked by voluptuous perfume and radiant berry flavors, with a personality markedly different from the wines of neighboring S.L.V. Do not wait for the pundits to jump on the bandwagon!
Starting Bid: $125.00

Bid on this 4-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2001 Kuleto Napa Cabernet Sauvignon, 1-bottle of 2003 Stag's Leap Wine Cellars "Artemis" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, 1-bottle of 2005 Franciscan "Magnificat" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (91RP), and 1-bottle of 2005 Paraduxx Napa Valley Red Blend. Of the 2005 Franciscan "Magnificat", Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "This is a winery with obviously tremendous potential, much of it unrealized, but I must say that the 2005 Proprietary Red Magnificat is outstanding and one of the more reasonably priced wines in Napa. A blend of 73% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Merlot, 2% Malbec and the rest Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc, the wine has a dense ruby/purple color, a big, sweet kiss of crème de cassis, cedar wood, licorice and a touch of mocha. It is medium to full-bodied, seemingly fully mature, but certainly capable of lasting another ten years. This is a sexy wine from Franciscan Estate, and I’m happy to see that. (RP)" (06/2015)
Starting Bid: $140.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2009 Altamura Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94WS). Wine Spectator: "Striking, rich and opulent, elegant and refined, with ripe, dense blackberry, melted black licorice and touches of cinnamon and baking spice. Ends with fine-grained, detailed tannins. Best from 2013 through 2027. *Top Wines of 2012* JL)" (12/2012)
Starting Bid: $215.00

Bid on this magnum of 2016 Schrader "Old Sparky" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (OWC - 100JD, 100JS, 100RP) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Old Sparky is very deep purple-black in color with a wonderfully pure nose of blackcurrant cordial, blackberry preserves and black cherry pie with nuances of dried bay leaves, dusty soil, garrigue and new leather plus touches of unsmoked cigars and pencil shavings. Full-bodied, concentrated and jam-packed with flavors, the palate is pure hedonism with a solid line of ripe tannins and great freshness, finishing very long. (LPB)" (10/2018)
Starting Bid: $1,125.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Ovid "Experiment No. R8.3" Napa Valley Red Blend. Ovid's "Experiment" bottling always changes, as the team at Ovid (you guessed it) experiments with different wines and is inspired by the characteristics of new yield. Producer tasting notes: "At Ovid, one of our original forms of experimentation was theway that we planted our vineyards in 2000. We used four different rootstocks and several grape varietals on each in order to explore how they perform on our little piece of Pritchard Hill in different growing and harvest conditions. The 2013 Experiment R8.3 wine is made from grapes grown predominantly on 3309 rootstock. 3309 is an established rootstock well regarded for its low to moderate vigor and production of smaller berries with more intense fruit flavors. Our 3309 blocks of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc are always the first to ripen—an attribute we appreciate here in Napa Valley wheregrapes are harvested right up to the first big rains.."
Starting Bid: $210.00

Bid on this bottle of 2018 Memento Mori Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (99JD, 98RP). Jeb Dunnuck: "Just about pure perfection in a glass, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon checks in as 100% varietal sourced from top sites including Dr. Crane, Las Piedras, Weitz, Oakville Ranch, and Vine Hill. This deep purple/blue-hued beauty boasts a stunning bouquet of pure crème de cassis and blackberry fruits as well as complex forest floor, graphite, chocolate, and spicy oak. Full-bodied, rich, sexy, yet incredibly elegant and seamless on the palate, this is pure Napa Valley magic that has appeal even today yet the class to evolve for 30 years in cold cellars." (01/2021)
Starting Bid: $190.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Opus One Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (100DC, 100JS, 97RP, 97VN). James Suckling: "The greatest Opus ever. Terrific aromas of crushed black currants, blueberries and flowers with hints of sweet tobacco. Roses continue to exude opulence and class. Full body, superb balance of ultra-fine tannins and vibrant acidity. Complex aftertaste of black fruits and citrus fruit. Extremely persistent. So approachable now and enjoyable. But will be even better in 2019 and beyond. 79% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Cabernet Franc, 6% Merlot, 6% Petit Verdot, 2% Malbec. This will always be beautiful to drink." (09/2016)
Starting Bid: $745.00

Bid on this bottle of 2003 Schrader "Beckstoffer To Kalon - RBS" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97RP, 92WS, 90ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The closest to full maturity and farthest along in its evolution appears to be the 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon RBS Beckstoffer To- Kalon Vineyard. Notes of pen ink, creosote, tar, black currants and Christmas fruitcake jump from the glass of this dense ruby/purple-colored effort, which is showing less color saturation than its three siblings. Full-bodied and ripe with soft tannins, good freshness and liveliness, there is no reason to defer your gratification. It is an intense, mouthfilling, terrific, young Cabernet Sauvignon that should continue to drink well for 10-15 years. (RP)" (06/2013)
Starting Bid: $185.00

Bid on this bottle of 2005 Harlan Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (99JD, 98RP, 96JS, 95VN, 95WE, 94WS). Jeb Dunnuck: "A big step up over the 2003, the 2005 Harlan Estate is still youthful and vibrant with incredible purity and elegance, as well as a huge, opulent, sweetly fruited, irresistible style. Blackberries, blueberries, violets, spring flowers, lead pencil and a remarkable minerality all emerge from this sensational wine that has sweet, present tannin, no hard edges, and a great, great finish." (12/2017)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Screaming Eagle Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 100VN, 96JS, 96WS). Vinous: "As impossible as it might seem, the 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon takes things to another level. An exquisite, celestial bouquet melds into endless layers of fruit as this rich, voluptuous wine blossoms on the palate. Full-bodied and seductive, the 2007 conquers all of the senses with its head spinning, beautiful personality. As always, Screaming Eagle is a bit more restrained next to Napa Valley's other heavy hitters, yet the pedigree of this opulent vintage comes through in spades. A kaleidoscope of aromas and flavors flows through to the creamy, textured finish. I have tasted the 2007 several times recently and it has always been magnificent. The 2007 appears to be shutting down just a touch, but that is probably a good thing for the future. (AG)" (12/2012)
Starting Bid: $6,051.00

Bid on this magnum of 1995 Silver Oak Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (95RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A blend of 96% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% Cabernet Franc, the 1995 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa has turned out even better than the 1994. It possesses a more saturated ruby/purple color, as well as a more flamboyant and exotic bouquet. Moreoever, it seems less evolved. Full-bodied and pure, with layer upon layer of concentrated black fruits, smoke, cedar, and toast, it should drink well for 16-17 years. (RP)" (12/1998)
Starting Bid: $175.00

Bid on this magnum of 2015 O'Shaughnessy Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (95RP, 93VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain is redolent of warm blackberries and black cherries with hints of Indian spices, fertile soil, cedar and hoisin. Big, full-bodied and voluptuous in the mouth, the concentrated, multilayered fruit is well framed by firm, grainy tannins and just enough freshness, finishing long and spicy. (LPB)" (10/2017)
Starting Bid: $175.00

Bid on this bottle of 2010 Promontory Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (98RP, 95ST, 95VN, 93DC). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Promontory appears to be a killer wine. It ratchets up the level of concentration, but does not reveal as much of the La Mission Haut-Brion personality as the 2009. It exhibits more creme de cassis, sweet earth, truffle, new saddle leather and background vanilla and barbecue notes. Full-bodied, rich, pure and multidimensional, this wine is a kissing cousin of the great Harlan Estate located five to six miles due north on a similar latitude in the lower Mayacamas Mountains overlooking the Oakville Corridor, whereas Promontory overlooks Yountville. This is another 25-30-year wine from the winemaking team of Harlan Estate and Bond. (RP) 98+" (10/2013)
Starting Bid: $490.00

Bid on this bottle of 2010 Hall "Exzellenz" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 95WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Exzellenz Sacrashe Vineyard appears to be the deepest colored wine of this group. It reveals a pungent, penetrating, haunting bouquet of black and blue fruits as well as spring flowers. Exceptionally rich with perfect balance, a multidimensional skyscraper-like texture, but no heaviness, this is a tour de force in great winemaking. The finish lasts for nearly a minute. (RP)" (10/2013)
Starting Bid: $250.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2008 Caymus Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (93WS). Wine Spectator: "Openly fruity, rich, lush and layered, serving up a complex mix of plum, blackberry, black licorice and spices. Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2010 Bond "Matriarch" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (93VN, 92JS, 92WS, 91RP, 91ST). Vinous: "The 2010 Matriarch is quite beautiful in this vintage. Supple and juicy at first, the 2010 has plenty of underlying structure. Rose petals, violets, new leather and a hint of orange peel appear on an exotic, perfumed finish laced with veins if dark red and blue fruits. (AG)" (11/2013)
Starting Bid: $200.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2011 Hobel Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (92VN, 90ST). Vinous: "The 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon is pretty, nuanced and delicate. Floral notes meld into sweet red berries, mint and spices. The 2011 is intensely fragrant and delicate in this vintage, with terrific length and persistence, all in the medium-bodied style of the year. The 2011 will drink well pretty much right out of the gate. (AG)" (11/2013)

The gingersnap and tobacco aromas are very pleasing. The finish is spicy and dry yet supple at the same time. Enjoy now or in 10 years." (12/2002)

Bid on this 2-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2007 Arrowood "Monte Rosso" Sonoma Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95RP, 95WS) and 1-bottle of 2007 Jones Family Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94RP, 91VN). Of the 2007 Arrowood "Monte Rosso" Sonoma Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "The 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Monte Rosso Vineyards is a classic. This wine still has plenty of tannin left, as well as terrific concentration, power, and a full-bodied mouthfeel. Dense purple, it offers loads of graphite, loamy soil scents, new saddle leather and lots of blackberry and cassis fruit. This killer Cabernet Sauvignon should continue to age brilliantly for another 25 or more years. (RP)" (08/2015)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2015 Realm "The Bard" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (98JD, 97RP, 95JS, 94DC). Jeb Dunnuck: "Last of the blends, the 2015 The Bard checks in as 73% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Merlot and the rest Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Like the Falstaff, it has a terrific purity and freshness as well as full-bodied richness and depth. Blackberries, currants, liquid rock, and tobacco all give way to a gorgeous, deep, layered Cabernet Sauvignon that’s still tight, backward and reserved on the palate. Give bottles three to four years, count yourself lucky, and enjoy over the following two decades. 98+" (12/2017)

A distinct liqueur of minerals buttresses the full-bodied, massive concentration, giving an overall impression of elegance, purity, and harmony. This is another seamless tour de force in winemaking.
