Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Very deep purple-black colored, the 2015 Papillon Proprietary Red features expressive crème de cassis, mulberries, plum preserves and chocolate box notes with wafts of underbrush, dried herbs and Indian spices. Full-bodied, rich, opulent and spicy in the mouth, it has a velvety texture and seamless freshness, finishing long with a lively pepper and herbs lift. (LPB)" (03/2018)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2010 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (98WS, 97JS, 97VN, 96RP, 96ST, 96W&S). Wine Spectator: "A highlight of the tasting, with rocking energy, dense black currant and black berry fruit and loads of singed wood thoroughly embedded throughout. Juicy bramble, alder and bay leaf notes chime in, with a mouthwatering mineral spine buried deep on the finish. (JM, Web-2019)"

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1995 Beaulieu Vineyard "Georges de Latour Private Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95RP, 93WS, 91VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "1995 was a warmer vintage of lower yields from poor fruit set. The result is a relatively generous Georges de Latour Private reserve with lower acidity and a rich, opulent fruit profile. Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and aged for 22 months in 100% new oak (55% French and 45% American), the 1995 Cabernet Sauvignon Private Reserve Georges de Latour has a medium to deep brick color with expressive dried blackberries, Black Forest cake and crème de cassis notes plus hints of cigar box, bouquet garni and coffee beans. Full-bodied (the alcohol is 13.9%), concentrated, firm and grainy, the palate delivers loads of relatively youthful fruit, with seamless freshness, finishing long and spicy. (LPB)" (05/2019)
Starting Bid: $220.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2010 Pride Mountain "Reserve" Sonoma-Napa Counties Claret (96RP, 94ST, 92CG, 92WE, 91VN, 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Claret Reserve, 56% Merlot, 43% Cabernet Sauvignon and 1% Petit Verdot aged 22 months in 40% new French oak, boasts a stunning perfume of lead pencil shavings, charcoal, incense, blackberries, cassis and forest floor aromas. This full-bodied, concentrated, multidimensional red fills the mouth and coats the palate, but never comes across as heavy or unruly. The tannins are velvety and well-integrated in this spectacular, classic Napa red. (RP)" (10/2013)

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2010 Ant Farm "Circadia" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Wine Enthusiast: "Rich tasting, dense in a good way, this layers ripe cherry, light herbs and cinnamon flavors on a firm texture of tannins and acidity. It's a solidly structured, full-bodied Cabernet that carries some complexity. (JG)" (11/2014)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this 2-magnum lot of 1998 Araujo Eisele Vineyard Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Winery-Direct Release (1.5L).
Starting Bid: $420.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Screaming Eagle Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 100JS, 100RP, 100VN, 98DC, 98JD) in original wood. Vinous: "The 2016 Screaming Eagle is a positively stunning wine. An intense bouquet gives way to a wine of explosive energy and huge textural depth. Graphite, crushed rocks, menthol, sage and dark spice open up gradually in this reticent, brooding Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon. The 2016 is a towering, statuesque wine of the very highest level. That is the good news. The slightly less good news is that it will need a number of years in bottle to be at its very best. I wouldn't dream of touching a bottle anytime soon. The 2016 literally does scream, with tons of varietal Cabernet aromatics, flavors and structural drive. In a word: magnificent! (AG)" (12/2018)
Starting Bid: $7,500.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2005 Pride Mountain "Reserve" Sonoma-Napa Counties Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 94WE, 93WS, 92CG, 92VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This full-bodied wine is very concentrated, with a saturated bluish/purple color and a classic nose of mocha and espresso intermixed with crème de cassis and charcoal. The finish is a good 40-45 seconds, and the wine has a remarkable vibrancy and freshness from the vintage’s acidity. This is terrific stuff to drink now and over the next 12-15 years. (RP) 96+" (06/2015)
Starting Bid: $250.00

Bid on this bottle of 2005 Shafer "Hillside Select" Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon (99RP, 95WS, 94JS, 94VN, 94W&S, 93CG). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "One of the world’s great wines and profound expressions of Cabernet Sauvignon, is the 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon Hillside Select. This wine spends more than 30 months in 100% new oak, and, year in year out, has been one of the most singular and profound examples of Cabernet Sauvignon in the world. It seems Shafer began to ratchet up performance during the 1990s, and the first decade of the 21st century has provided a treasure trove of either perfect or nearly perfect wines, including the 2001, 2002, 2004, 2005, 2007 and more recently the 2010, 2012 and, in all likelihood, the 2013. (RP)" (06/2015)

Bid on this magnum of 1986 Caymus Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L). Established in 1972, Caymus Vineyards is one of the benchmark Cabernet Sauvignon producers in Napa Valley with an established reputation for producing some of Napa's finest red wines. Robert Parker says: "Few wineries in the world can boast such an enviable record of consistent excellence as that of Caymus." In 1975 Randall Dunn joined the winemaking team at Caymus, bringing years of experience and expertise to this already highly regarded estate.
Starting Bid: $207.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2014 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (98JS, 97JD, 97RP, 96DC, 96VN, 94WS). James Suckling: "Unique aromas of blackberry, black currant, dark chocolate and walnut. Full body, very powerful and tannic. Incredible depth and power. Precise and so focused. Muscular. Great structure. This needs at least six to eight years to come together. *Top 100 of 2017*" (01/2018)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Realm "Farella Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, 97JS, 95VN, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "From the southeastern AVA Coombsville in the Vaca Mountains, the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Farella Vineyard is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from white tufa and decomposed red volcanic sedimentary soils. For whatever reason, it seems that people who buy from this vineyard make better wine than the actual owners, which I'm sad to say, is not exactly what proprietors Tom and Frank Farella would like to hear. This is a terrific Cabernet Sauvignon made from clones 4 and 8, offering a rich nose of blackberries, dark earth, a touch of barrique, and some baking spices. The wine is rich, full-bodied, tannic and backward. Deep and super-concentrated, it needs another 2-3 years of cellaring, but should last another 25-30 years. (RP)" (12/2015)
Starting Bid: $420.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Spottswoode "Family Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 94DC, 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Deep garnet colored with a lingering hint of purple, the 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon comes sashaying out of the glass with provocative notions of warm cassis, blueberry compote, blackberry pie and violets with chocolate box, licorice and menthol nuances plus wafts of wilted roses, lavender and kirsch. Medium-bodied, the intensely perfumed black and blue fruit flavors glide gracefully across the palate, revealing a myriad of earth and spice accents, all framed beautifully with super ripe, fine-grained tannins and invigorating freshness, finishing very, very long. Wow. LPB)" (08/2018)
Starting Bid: $410.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Realm "Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 99JS, 95VN, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A blend of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Petit Verdot, Realm’s perfect 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard exhibits a La Mission Haut-Brion-like bouquet of blueberries, scorched earth, burning embers and spring flowers, a dense, opulent, full-bodied mouthfeel, and a staggeringly long, multidimensional, 60-second finish. It can be drunk with enormous pleasure now, but promises to evolve for at least a quarter of a century. For historical buffs, the Dr. Crane Vineyard is named after a real doctor, who first planted the vineyard in 1858. In the 1920s, this small area was once considered the home of migrant Chinese workers. (RP)" (10/2014)

Of the 2001 Silver Oak Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Wine Spectator writes: "Aging very nicely, this is smooth, supple and complex, in great drinking space. Ripe currant, wild berry, mocha, dill, cedar and tobacco are full-bodied, gaining on the finish. (JL, Web-2011)"
Starting Bid: $185.00

Bid on this 4-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2012 Pine Ridge "Tessitura" Napa Valley Red Blend, 1-bottle of 2013 Pine Ridge "Contemplate" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend, 1-bottle of 2013 Pine Ridge "Tessitura" Napa Valley Red Blend, and 1-bottle of 2014 Pine Ridge "Contemplate" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend. Of the 2012 Pine Ridge "Tessitura" Napa Valley Red Blend, Located in the heart of Stags Leap District, Pine Ridge has been producing wine since 1978. Tessitura is Italian for "texture, " and this wine represents Pine Ridge's efforts to achieve just that. The wine is typically a blend of Bordeaux varietals harvested from multiple terroirs throughout the Napa Valley, including a touch of Syrah in some vintages. Pine Ridge wines have the capacity to overdeliver at their price points, as evidenced by just about every vintage of their Viognier-Chenin Blanc blend.
Starting Bid: $110.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2010 Lewis Cellars "Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96WS). Wine Spectator: "Lewis Cellars favors full-throttle Cabernet, yet for all their density and depth of flavor, the wines are graceful and refined, balancing size and elegance. Lewis harvests Cabernet from a collection of hillside and benchland vineyards in the Napa Valley subappellations of Calistoga, Rutherford and Oak Knoll, and the winemaking team selects the best lots for the Reserve. A blend of 98 percent Cabernet and 2 percent Petit Verdot, it aged 20 months in new French oak. Bold, rich and complex, yet delicate and graceful, featuring finely detailed currant, dark berry and licorice notes, with jazzy spice and mocha-scented oak leading to a long, firming finish that gains depth and dimension. Drink now through 2026. *#9 on Top 100 Wines of 2013* (JL)" (07/2013)
Starting Bid: $375.00

Bid on this magnum of 2018 Realm "The Tempest" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (1.5L) (97JS, 96JD, 96VN, 94RP). James Suckling: "Rich, intense aromas of cassis, stewed blackberries, blueberry jam, cloves, black olives and cocoa. It’s full-bodied and mouth-filling with firm, velvety tannins. Impressive depth and fruit extraction. Mostly merlot. Drink from 2022, but already a beauty." (12/2020)
Starting Bid: $200.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2005 ZD "Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (91RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve designation, which spent 34 months in American oak, is a bigger, richer, fuller-throttle wine, with a denser purple color, slightly more alcohol (14.7%), nicely integrated American wood, loads of blackcurrant and blackberry fruit, and a well-textured, thick, juicy mouthfeel and finish. (RP)" (06/2015)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2003 Anderson's Conn Valley "Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Since 1990, Cabernet Sauvignon has an enviable track record at Anderson’s Conn Valley Vineyard. Moreover, they should last for 20-30 or more years. My instincts suggest 2002 may be one of the finest Cabernets yet produced here, but the 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve is better every time I re-taste it. Its smoky, gamy, cedary, creme de cassis, tobacco, and leather-scented bouquet is Pauillac-like. Full-bodied with abundant ripe, silky tannin, this gorgeous effort may not be as seamless as the 2002, but it should last nearly as long…at least two decades. (RP)" (12/2006)
Starting Bid: $84.00

Bid on this 4-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2006 Tierra Roja Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (93JS), 2-bottles of 2007 Tierra Roja Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (91WE), and 1-bottle of 2015 Tierra Roja Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (93RP, 92JS, 91VN). Of the 2006 Tierra Roja Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon, James Suckling writes: "Gorgeous nose here of crushed raspberries and blueberries that follow through to a full body, with soft and velvety tannins and a long fruity finish. Lots going on. " (02/2011)
Starting Bid: $270.00

Bid on this bottle of 2003 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (94RP, 92ST, 92W&S). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "One of the smallest crops to be included in the Ridge Monte Bello, only 32% of the production made it into the 2003, which is largely Cabernet Sauvignon (85%) and the rest Merlot and Petit Verdot. Out of barrel as well as post-bottling I liked this wine a lot, and it has changed very little from when I last tasted it in February, 2010. It boasts an inky/blue/purple color along with sweet black currant, blueberry, graphite, licorice and toasty vanillin aromas. The tannins are still noticeable in this full-bodied 2003, but seem reasonably well-integrated. Forget this wine for another decade and drink it over the following 30+ years. (RP) 94+" (06/2013)
Starting Bid: $140.00

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Realm "The Bard" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (100JD, 99RP, 94VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "Starting with the 2012 The Bard, this incredible blend of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Petit Verdot comes from a number of great sites including To Kalon, Dr. Crane, Fortuna, and Weitz. It’s just now starting to show some maturity and has a wonderfully complex bouquet of blackcurrants, dried spices, chocolate, cedarwood, and smoke tobacco. This carries to a full-bodied, seamless, sensationally textured 2012 with sweet tannins, no hard edges, and a heavenly finish. It actually reminds me slightly of the 2009 Haut Bailly!" (08/2020)
Starting Bid: $205.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Scarecrow Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 100JD, 100RP, 98DC, 98VN) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Scarecrow is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from two acres of old vines planted in 1945 by John Daniel and dry farmed. Very deep garnet-purple colored, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon comes sashaying out of the glass with tantalizing notions of violets, lavender, Black Forest cake, mulberries, tobacco leaf and fragrant earth with a core of warm cassis, kirsch, Chinese five spice, rose hip tea and cedar chest. The palate is full-bodied and super concentrated yet possesses great energy with vibrant red and black fruits and loads of mineral accents, framed by very ripe, super fine-grained tannins and fantastic freshness, finishing very long with the most incredible perfume. Hedonistically, undeniably and deliciously perfect. (LPB)" (10/2018)
Starting Bid: $1,650.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (98VN, 97JD, 96RP, 96W&S, 96WS, 95JS). Vinous: "One of the highlights in this tasting, the 2016 Monte Bello has turned out just as beautifully as I hoped it would. Soaring aromatics, bright acids and mid-weight structure give the 2016 a super-classic feel. Clearly, the 2016 is very primary today, with plenty of bright red and purplish berry fruit. More than that, though, the 2016 pulses with energy and simply exceptional balance. Don't miss it! (AG)" (10/2019)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2015 Spottswoode "Family Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100JD, 100RP, 97WE, 96VN, 95JS, 95WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon is deep garnet-purple colored with a mind-blowingly gorgeous nose that defies words: warm cassis, red roses, sandalwood, Indian spices, crushed rocks, menthol and iron ore with waft of lilacs and truffles. Medium to full-bodied with a rock-solid frame of super-ripe, grainy tannins and tons of freshness, it finishes incredibly long and remains incredibly provocative. (LPB)" (10/2018)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2018 Rivers-Marie Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94JD, 94VN). Vinous: "The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley) is an outrageously beautiful wine. Readers who aren't able to find the vineyard designates won't be giving up in indulging in this hedonistic, voluptuous Cabernet from proprietors Thomas Rivers Brown and Genevieve Marie Welsh. Layers of blackberry jam, chocolate, cloves and licorice build as this sumptuous Cabernet shows off its curves. The 2018 is not exactly subtle, but it sure is gorgeous. I loved it. (AG)" (01/2021)
Starting Bid: $142.00

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Far Niente Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (96DC, 94RP, 94WE, 93VN, 92JS). Decanter: "The justly admired Oakville winery has been a Napa Valley fixture since 1979, when it was founded by the late Gil Nickel. From the outset the winemaker has been Dirk Hampson, though today he keeps a knowing eye on the winery’s young winemaking team. But his steady presence, as well as that of the Nickel family, has ensured a consistency of style over the decades. Today all wines are estate-grown, and the vineyards are close to Martha’s Vineyard and other iconic sites. This wine is aged for 17 months in more than 80% new oak, and is always rich and polished."
Starting Bid: $132.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2015 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (100JS, 98JD, 98VN, 95DC, 95RP, 94CG, 94W&S, 94WE). James Suckling: "Stunning depth, power, purity and elegance. The blackcurrants and plums are fresh and intense on the nose with blueberries and gently herbal notes, too. The palate has a keenly articulated array of vibrant tannins that hold long, fresh and pure. It invokes a sense of wonderment at the finish. So long and so pure. This blend of 77% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Merlot, 7% Petit Verdot and 5% Cabernet Franc, is just at the start of a wonderful journey." (11/2018)

Bid on this bottle of 2018 Realm "Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98JD, 98JS, 98RP, 97VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Deep garnet-purple colored, it rolls sensuously out of the glass with decadent scents of boysenberries, black cherries, redcurrant jelly and blackcurrant pastilles with hints of bouquet garni, black soil and iron ore. Full-bodied, the taut, tightly knit black and red fruit has a firm structure of ripe, grainy tannins and bags of freshness, finishing very long with loads of earth and mineral nuances coming through. (LPB) 98+" (10/2020)
Starting Bid: $350.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Bevan "Sugarloaf Mountain Vineyard" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (100RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Another look at perfection is the 350-case cuvée of 2014 Sugarloaf Mountain Proprietary Red. This is a Cheval Blanc-like blend of 57% Cabernet Franc and 43% Merlot aged in Gamba and Darnajou barrels. I don’t know anyone making wine from this particular rockpile in the southeastern hillsides of Napa, but Bevan has certainly found an unreal terroir to exploit. Unbelievable aromatics – going the full spectrum of red, blue and black fruits to spring flowers to earthy charcoal embers and incense – are followed by a wine of magnificent intensity, fabulous purity and full-bodied, almost unctuous, texture. Yet, the wine has the balance of a world-class ballerina. This is deep, rich, showing incredibly well already, and therefore hard to resist. It could last for 20+ years in a cold cellar, but why wait? (RP)" (10/2016)
Starting Bid: $370.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2010 Lewis Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94WS). Wine Spectator: "Beautifully proportioned, with a rich mix of currant, blackberry, dried herb, mocha, cedar and tobacco flavors. This is also very tightly structured, worthy of a long decant or short-term cellaring. (JL) " (02/2013)
Starting Bid: $420.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Quivet "Pellet Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (93JD, 93RP, 93VN). Vinous: "Violets, lavender, smoke, plums and licorice are all laced together in the 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Pellet Vineyard. This is an especially lifted, aromatic wine for this part of St. Helena, where vineyards sites are generally quite warm. Even with all of its obvious ripeness and raciness, the Pellet remains precise, nuanced and strikingly beautiful. This is a terrific showing from Quivet and winemaker Mike Smith. (AG)" (12/2014)
Starting Bid: $90.00

Bid on this bottle of 2013 GKG Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (91RP, 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A joint project between the creative Dave Phinney and famous photographer Greg Gorman, this blend of 96% Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Malbec was aged 18 months in two-thirds new French oak. The wine is dense purple and shows good, sweet blackcurrant fruit along with some notes of pen ink and camphor, followed by a medium to full-bodied, silky textured, opulent and luscious wine. (RP)" (12/2015)
Starting Bid: $100.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Realm "Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97RP, 96JS, 94VN, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon emerges from another first-growth vineyard that was acquired by Andy Beckstoffer in 1993, and planted with multiple clones of Cabernet Sauvignon and a small amount of Cabernet Franc. The original vineyard was planted in 1868, but the present one consists of nearly 90 acres. The 2012 reveals incredible complexity and density with notes of Christmas fruitcake, baking spices, licorice, crème de cassis and forest floor. Full-bodied with the vintage’s opulence and drama, this 100% Cabernet Sauvignon was fashioned from Clones 4 and 337. (RP) 97+" (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $440.00

Bid on this bottle of 2013 Caymus "Special Selection" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95WS, 92JS). Wine Spectator: "This zeroes in on a rich, hedonistic core of wild berry, blackberry, plum and currant flavors, with a graceful, elegant mouthfeel and supple, caressing tannins. The long and powerful yet refined aftertaste keeps reverberating fruit generosity while maintaining Cabernet's strength of personality. *No. 44 of the Top 100 Wines of 2016, Collectibles* (JL)" (10/2016)
Starting Bid: $145.00

Bid on this 3-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2016 Ridge Vineyards "Estate" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (94JD, 94JS, 94VN, 93RP, 92WS, 91W&S, 90CG), 1-bottle of 2017 Ridge Vineyards "Estate" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (94RP, 94VN, 93JD, 93W&S, 91CG), and 1-bottle of 2018 Ridge Vineyards "Estate" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (94JS, 94WE). Of the 2016 Ridge Vineyards "Estate" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon, Vinous writes: "Once again an overachiever, Ridge's 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate is regal. Aromatically intense and deep on the palate, the 2016 proves to be utterly captivating from the very first taste. Dark fruit, chocolate, licorice, dried flowers, leather and menthol infuse the 2016 with remarkable complexity. In 2016, the last year of the drought cycle Ridge made one of the very best editions of this wine. Just as remarkably, the 2016 is incredibly harmonious for such a young wine. (AG)" (10/2019)

Of the 2007 Joseph Phelps "Insignia" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "Deep garnet colored with a lingering hint of purple, the 2007 Insignia Proprietary Red Wine reveals the most seductive crème de cassis, Black Forest cake and licorice notions with touches of violets, eucalyptus, chocolate box and unsmoked cigars plus a waft of cedar chest. Full-bodied with tantalizing opulence yet compelling restraint, the palate beautifully juxtaposes the rich, ripe fruit with wonderful freshness and a firm yet plush backbone, finishing beautifully perfumed. (LPB)" (08/2018)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2004 Beringer "Private Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95RP, 95VN, 93W&S, 92WS). Vinous: "Bright, dark red. Dark raspberry, toffee, cedar, anise, sweet butter, smoked meat, minerals and nutty oak on the complex, inviting nose. A suave, fine-grained, perfumed midweight with fresh acidity and underlying minerality energizing its cassis, spice and mineral flavors. This wonderfully silky, very long wine boasts a near-perfect integration of fruit, acidity and tannins. The finish leaves the mouth perfumed. Delicious now but built for a long life in bottle. (ST)" (07/2015)
Starting Bid: $175.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Silver Oak Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (91DC). Decanter: "Most in Napa regarded this vintage as exceptional, with well-timed rainfall and ideal summer weather but many wines turned out over-plush. This one is ripe and appealing, with generous fruit, an open character despite its concentration and power, and a round softness. Oak is still showing, and I admit I preferred the Alexander Valley. Bid on this magnum of 2013 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (100DC, 100JS, 100RP, 98VN, 95WS, 94W&S). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Monte Bello is a very special vintage for this great wine. Amazingly, it has yet to shut down, unfurling in the glass to reveal a bouquet of black raspberries, cassis, rich espresso roast, cigar wrapper, subtle black truffle and burning embers that has already integrated its 100% new oak remarkably completely. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, powerful and multidimensional, with a lavishly textural attack that segues into a stunningly layered, richly structured mid-palate endowed with incredible depth and concentration underpinned by succulent acids. The finish is long, vibrant and beautifully delineated. The 2013 is a blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Petit Verdot, 7% Cabernet Franc and 5% Merlot, and it attained 13.6% natural alcohol. Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2008 Hewitt Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon (93WE, 93WS). Wine Enthusiast: "Ripe and creamy, this has a toffee flavor from its barrel aging. The fruit veers toward ripe summer red cherries and blackberries. Forward and brash now—this is still young. Give it until 2016 or so to begin developing bottle complexity. *Cellar Selection* " (08/2012)
