Bid on this 3-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2014 Tensley "BMT" Santa Barbara County Syrah (1.5L) ((93-95RP), (93-95VN), 93WS), 1-bottle of 2015 Tensley "BMT" Santa Barbara County Syrah (1.5L) (95JD, (93-95RP), 93VN, 93WE), and 1-bottle of 2016 Tensley "BMT" Santa Barbara County Syrah (1.5L) (98JD, (91-94VN)). Of the 2016 Tensley "BMT" Santa Barbara County Syrah (1.5L), Jeb Dunnuck writes: "Slightly deeper colored, the 2016 Syrah BMT is another tour de force from Joey Tensley and is the usual blend of 75% Syrah (mostly from Rodney’s Vineyard) and 25% Grenache all from the Colson Canyon. Huge notes of crème de cassis, blackberries, scorched earth, and cracked pepper, full body, awesome purity, and no sensation of weight all make for a world class, utterly compelling Syrah to drink over the coming decade or more." Bid on this magnum of 2014 Saxum "Broken Stones" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (1.5L) (97JD, 95RP, 95VN, 92WS). Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2014 Broken Stones is heavenly stuff! Made from a blend of 41% Syrah, 19% Grenache, 16% Petite Sirah, 13% Mourvèdre and the balance Tempranillo and Roussanne, this inky colored beauty offers terrific notes of mostly blue fruits (blackberries, blueberries), crushed violets, Asian spices and forest floor. Full-bodied, concentrated, elegant and seamless on the palate, it has a ripe tannin and a gorgeous finish. This is a fabulous wine to enjoy anytime over the coming decade.I’ve raved so much about the wines from Saxum’s Justin Smith, I feel like a broken record every new vintage. " (08/2017)
Starting Bid: $140.00

Bid on this 3-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2014 Tensley "OGT" Santa Barbara County Syrah (1.5L) ((94-96RP), 94VN, 93WS), 1-bottle of 2015 Tensley "OGT" Santa Barbara County Syrah (1.5L) (97JD, 95VN, 94WE), and 1-bottle of 2016 Tensley "OGT" Santa Barbara County Syrah (1.5L) (98JD, (91-94VN)). Of the 2016 Tensley "OGT" Santa Barbara County Syrah (1.5L), Jeb Dunnuck writes: "The 2016 Syrah OGT comes almost exclusively from the estate Colson Canyon, which is located high up in the hills above the town of Los Olivos. It offers a heavenly bouquet of sweet red and black fruits, Asian spices, dried flowers, and incense as well as a rounded, supple, straight-up thrilling style on the palate. Despite being a massive wine, it stays balanced, silky and seamless, with no sensation of weight. " (10/2018)

Bid on this 3-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2017 Tensley "BMT" Santa Barbara County Syrah (1.5L) (98JD, 94VN, 93RP, 93WS), 1-bottle of 2019 Tensley "BMT" Santa Barbara County Syrah (1.5L) (98JD, 93RP, 93WS, 92VN), and 1-bottle of 2020 Tensley "BMT" Santa Barbara County Syrah (1.5L) ((96-98JD), 96RP, (94-96VN)). Of the 2017 Tensley "BMT" Santa Barbara County Syrah (1.5L), Jeb Dunnuck writes: "The same blend and makeup as the 2018, the 2017 Syrah BMT is half Rodney's Vineyard Syrah and the balance equal parts Grenache and Syrah, both from Colons Canyon. It offers a Châteauneuf du Pape-like perfume of red and black fruits, herbes de Provence, dried violets, pepper, and incense. " (10/2019)
