It is planted to approximately 50% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Cabernet Franc, 2% Petit Verdot. Classified as Médoc Cru Bourgeois, its wines were very popular in the 1970s and 1980s in the United States.

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2002 Bollinger "R.D." Extra Brut Champagne (99JS, 97W&S, 96JD, 96WS, 95DC, 95JG, 95VN, 94BH). James Suckling: "Super fresh, this is striking given the 10 years in the cellars; it has a fine citrus nose - plenty of lemon, grapefruit, yellow chalky notes, some lighter floral elements too. The palate is super dry (dosage at 3-4g) and there's a silky, sherbet-like texture, smooth, fine and long. The citrus flavours give way to the driving surging acidity, thunderous acidity, really driving and powerful. The finish twists very slowly through to light-toasted cashew fruit flavours, but lemon citrus prevails. This is thrilling Champagne. " (05/2014)

Bid on this 500 ml 3-bottle lot of 1961 Monimpex Tokaji Aszu 5 Puttonyos (500ml). Tokaji dessert wines remain among the world's most underrated age-worthy wines. With the balance of acidity and concentrated sugar from the desiccated Aszu grapes, these wines have the same kind of magic ingredient as the fame Eiswein, BA, and TBA dessert wines of Germany and Austria. Many of them will outlive all of us alive today.
Starting Bid: $280.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2007 Clos Triguedina "Probus" Grand Vin de Cahors (93WE). Wine Enthusiast: "Despite the age, the color of this wine is still impressively vibrant and the ripe fruit and dense structure both speak of a wine that is still developing even nine years later. Such is longevity of a great Malbec. Blackberry fruit flavors charge through this wine that's reached the point of balance with the tannins. Drink now, although the wine will still be developing in 2018. (RV)" (06/2016)
Starting Bid: $180.00

Bid on this 3 liter 1-bottle lot of 1988 Schramsberg "Millennium" Late Disgorged Blanc de Noirs Napa Valley Champagne (3L). Wine Spectator: "Revealing a marked hazelnut and toast component, this wine is smooth and showing its age in a fine manner. Vanilla, pear, honey and apple notes fan out on the long finish. Supple yet refreshing. Special release, available in magnum and 3 liter formats only." (09/1999)

Bid on this 3 liter 1-bottle lot of 1995 Perrier-Jouet "Belle Epoque" Champagne (3L). Wine Spectator: "A firm, vigorous '95, dry and stingy with its berry, honey and citrus notes, but overall a tasty drink. A delicate, bracing Champagne. (BS)" (11/2002)

Bid on this 375 ml 4-bottle lot of 1992 Quinta do Infantado Vintage Port (375ml) (95RP, 90WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "There were only 1,000 cases produced of the 1992 Vintage Port, and they are not likely to languish on retailers' shelves. A saturated, black/purple color is followed by a huge, ripe, pure nose of jammy blackberry and cassis fruit that is vaguely reminiscent of such great 1990 Hermitages as Chapoutier's Le Pavillon, Jaboulet's La Chapelle, or Chave's red label Cuvee Cathelin. Awesome concentration, massive body, an unctuous texture oozing with fruit, glycerin, and extract, and a blockbuster finish all suggest this will be a monumental port. (RP)" (02/1995)
