Wine Spectator: "Impeccably balanced and silky, with finely honed acidity shaping the expansive flavors of toasted brioche, crushed blackberry, lemon preserves and honey, revealing hints of Frangelico liqueur and smoked nut. Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1988 Moët & Chandon "Dom Pérignon" Brut Champagne (94VN, 93RP, 93WS, 92JG). Vinous: "An unexpected treat, the 1988 Dom Pérignon is a fabulous surprise. Bid on this magnum of 2002 Egly-Ouriet Champagne Grand Cru Brut Champagne (1.5L) (OWC - 93JS, 93VN) in original wood. Vinous: "(70% pinot noir and 30% chardonnay): Light yellow-gold. Fresh orchard and pit fruits on the deeply scented nose, with notes of musky rhubarb and smoky minerals emerging with air. Deeply pitched poached pear and nectarine flavors show impressive power and are lifted by notes of chalk and ginger. Packs a serious punch but manages to come off as elegant. Finishes very long, with a strong jolt of minerality and slow-building leesiness. (JR)" (12/2013)
Starting Bid: $325.00

Bid on this bottle of 2005 Jacques Selosse "Millésime" Extra Brut Grand Cru Champagne (97JS, 96VN, 95RP). James Suckling: "Two parcels in Avize, smells of creamed baking spices and lemon curd with a fresh mushroom edge ahead of some darker more toasty nuances. The palate’s dry and sheer, very complex and complete. Lemon drop acidity sparks amid a powerfully saline and mineral palate. Very long with a majestic, warming build into the grilled nutty finish." (10/2017)
Starting Bid: $556.00
