Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2017 Domaine Fourrier Chambolle-Musigny Vieilles Vignes (91JD, (89-91RP)). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Offering up notes of ripe cherries, dried rose petals, licorice and sweet soil tones, the 2017 Chambolle-Musigny Village is medium to full-bodied, satiny and expressive, with a layered core of sappy fruit and a pure finish. It's somewhat deeper than the Morey Clos Solon, but it's similarly charming and drinkable. (WK)" (01/2019)
Starting Bid: $250.00

Bid on this bottle of 2017 Saxum "Paderewski Vineyard" Paso Robles Red Blend (97VN, 95JD, 94RP, 93WS). Vinous: "Opaque ruby. Powerful, deeply pitched black and blue fruit, candied licorice, violet pastille and fruitcake flavors are braced by a spine of juicy acidity and a hint of smoky minerals. Stains the palate with densely packed cassis, bitter cherry and blueberry flavors that pick up exotic spice, cola and dark chocolate on the back half. This deeply concentrated wine shows remarkable clarity and litheness for its richness and finishes extremely long and spicy, with a resonating floral note and chewy, steadily building tannins. (JR)" (02/2020)
Starting Bid: $92.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2017 Dominus Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (98VN, 97JD, 97JS, 97RP, 96WE, 95WS). Vinous: "The 2017 Dominus is one of the truly epic, grand wines of the vintage. Rich, dense and explosive, with tremendous concentration and sheer power, the 2017 Dominus captures all the personality of this site along with the natural opulence of the year. Inky dark fruit, lavender, menthol, licorice, plum, gravel and a host of dark spice notes infuse the 2017 with seemingly endless layers of nuance. Over the last two years I have tasted several hundred Napa Valley Cabernets, both from barrel and bottle. There is no question that Dominus belongs among the elite in 2017; it is simply a breathtaking wine. Certainly readers looking for a Napa Valley Cabernet to cellar should put Dominus at the top of their lists. (AG) 98+" (01/2020)

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2017 Turnbull Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (93VN, 92JD, 91JS, 91WE). Vinous: "Turnbull's 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley) is absolutely gorgeous. Ripe, bold and plummy, with bright floral overtones and succulent red berry and plum fruit, the 2017 is a positively stellar wine. Best of all, it is a screaming value by the standards of Napa Valley Cabernet. Is there a better Napa Valley Cabernet made from estate fruit for $50 a bottle? I doubt it. (AG)" (01/2020)
Starting Bid: $120.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2017 Domaine Saint-Damien "La Louisiane" Gigondas (97JD, 95RP, 94VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "I think the standout in the 2017 is the 2017 Gigondas La Louisiane, a blend of Grenache, Mourvèdre, and Syrah from a single lieu-dit near the domaine, which is located further down on the plateau. Incredible notes of blackcurrants, smoked herbs, spring flowers, and peppery meat notes emerge from this full-bodied beauty that has terrific concentration, sweet tannins, no hard edges, and a blockbuster finish. It actually reminds me of the 2007 yet has more structure and focus. It's an incredible bottle of wine that will drink well for 20+ years." (09/2019)
Starting Bid: $100.00

Bid on this bottle of 2017 Domaine de la Vieille Julienne "Réserve" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (100JD, 95DC). Jeb Dunnuck: "My wine of the vintage is the 2017 Châteauneuf Du Pape Reserve, which is in the same league as the other greats from this estate including the 2001, 2003, 2005, 2010, and 2016. Revealing a deep purple color as well as a massive bouquet of crème de cassis, violets, graphite, black licorice, and hints of pepper garrigue, it hits the palate with a massive array of fruit, full-bodied richness, no hard edges, and enough sweet tannins to warrant another 5-7 years of bottle age. Based all on very old vine Grenache from sandy soils just across the street from the domaine (the Trois Source has a large portion of its blend from a similar terroir), brought up all in foudre, it’s a singular, heavenly wine from Jean-Paul Daumen that’s going to go down as one of the greats from Châteauneuf du Pape." (08/2019)
Starting Bid: $125.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2017 Andremily "Eaba" Edna Valley Rhône Blend (98JD, (96-98RP), 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The very first vintage of this label, the 2017 EABA (ee-buh), will be bottled in August 2019 and is composed of 58% Syrah, 28% Mourvedre, 11% Grenache and 3% Viognier, employing 60% whole cluster. It is an uber-blend of Bien Nacido, White Hawk, Larner, Harrison-Clarke, Watch Hill and Alta Mesa Vineyards. It will spend around 22 months in French oak barriques, 50% new. (LPB)" (06/2019)
Starting Bid: $301.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2017 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (100JD, 98RP, 98W&S, 97VN, 96WS, 95WE, 94CG). Jeb Dunnuck: "Pure perfection, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Monte Bello is a sensational effort from this estate that should be snatched up by drinkers and collectors. Based on 72% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Merlot, 8% Petit Verdot, and the rest Cabernet Franc that was brought up mostly in new American oak, this saturated purple-hued beauty is legendary Monte Bello in the making and has a stunning yet primordial bouquet of crème de cassis, lead pencil shavings, graphite, chocolate, and chalky minerality. Full-bodied, incredibly powerful, and one of the most concentrated versions of this cuvée ever made, it needs a solid decade of bottle age and will have 50-60 years of overall longevity." (08/2020)

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2017 Gran Moraine Yamhill-Carlton Chardonnay (93JS, 92RP, 92VN, 91WS). James Suckling: "This has a very impressive feel with a fresh array of citrus and some gently spicy pastry aromas, too. The palate has a long, fresh and composed feel with such fine, fresh peaches and pears." (01/2020)
Starting Bid: $120.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2017 Volpaia "Balifico" Super Tuscan (94JS). James Suckling: "A polished red with plum, chocolate and walnut aromas and flavors. Medium-bodied with soft, integrated tannins and a pretty finish. Another year or two will give it a little more finesse. From organically grown grapes. " (06/2020)
Starting Bid: $105.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2017 Sine Qua Non "Tectumque" White Blend (97RP, 94JD, 93VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Tectumque means 'shelter' in Latin. This wine was initially going to be called 'Inconnue' ('unknown' in French), but that name had already been trademarked. 'Naming wines is becoming impossible,' mentioned Manfred. 'Everything has already been taken. Even, "No Name!"' This is a blend of 38% Roussanne, 31% Petit Manseng, 18% Chardonnay, 9% Viognier and 4% Muscat. The vineyard components are 52% Cumulus Estate, 19% Eleven Confessions Estate, 18% Bien Nacido Vineyard and 11% The Third Twin Estate. It spent around 20 months aging in 9% concrete eggs, 4% amphora, 9% used barrels and 78% new French oak puncheons. (LPB) 97+" (06/2019)
Starting Bid: $330.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2017 Guarachi "Sun Chase Vineyard" Petaluma Gap Pinot Noir (95JD, 93RP, 92WS, 90WE). Jeb Dunnuck: "The single vineyard 2017 Pinot Noir Sun Chase (11 months in 40% new French oak) turns the purity and richness dial up a touch, offering beautiful black raspberry fruit, some smoked herbs, violets, and forest floor notes, medium body, beautiful elegance, and a great finish. It's an incredibly impressive, balanced Pinot Noir that I suspect will keep for a decade." (06/2019)
Starting Bid: $90.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2017 Sine Qua Non "The Gorgeous Victim" California Grenache (98JD, 98RP, 97VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Deep garnet-purple in color, this wine has a very serious nose of game, fertile soil, crushed rocks and new leather over a wonderfully pure, well-defined core of crushed black cherries and ripe blackberries with wafts of unsmoked cigars and Sichuan pepper. Full-bodied, rich, concentrated and built like a brick house, it has a solid backbone of firm, finely grained tannins and great acidity, finishing long and mineral laced. (LPB)" (08/2020)
Starting Bid: $400.00

Bid on this bottle of 2017 Orin Swift "Mercury Head" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (93RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Mercury Head (aged for 15 months in oak, 51% new) delivers classic notes of warm cassis, plum preserves and mulberries with hints of cigar box, dried bay leaves, pencil lead and truffles. The full-bodied, densely packed, full-throttle palate has a solid structure of firm tannins and oodles for freshness supporting the muscular black fruits, finishing long and savory. (LPB)" (04/2020)
Starting Bid: $80.00

Bid on this bottle of 2017 Hospices de Beaune (Coche-Dury) Volnay 1er Cru "Santenots - Cuvée Gauvin" (93JG). John Gilman: "I am not sure if Raphaël Coche is likely to buy this cuvée on a regular basis in the future, but I am very happy he purchased a lot of the 2017, as this is going to be an excellent wine. It is a bit more new oaky, and the wood is a bit more toasted than is the case with the domaine’s own red wines, but it has excellent depth and complexity on both the nose and palate. The bouquet wafts from the glass in a blend of sweet blackberries, black cherries, bitter chocolate, pigeon, dark soil tones and smoky new oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, focused and shows fine purity to its soil signature, with a lovely core, fine focus and grip and a long, ripely tannic and very nicely balanced finish. Fine juice." (12/2019)
Starting Bid: $410.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2017 Tyler "Dierberg Vineyard" Santa Maria Valley Chardonnay (94VN, 91RP). Vinous: "The 2017 Chardonnay Dierberg Vineyard is a striking wine that brings together tension, power and energy. Tightly wound and energetic, the 2017 is going to need time to be at its best, but it is impressive in the early going. Crushed rock, lemon peel and bright floral notes confer vitality to this beautifully sculpted Santa Maria Chardonnay. (AG)" (08/2019)
Starting Bid: $210.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2017 Domaine Henri Boillot 1er Cru Meursault "Charmes" ((92-94VN), 93BH, (90-92RP)). Vinous: "Bright lemon-yellow color. Subtle, subdued aromas and flavors of flowers, minerals, vanilla and nutty lees. Wonderfully silky, salty, seamless wine with terrific flavor intensity. This has the gras of classic Charmes but with no impression of weightiness--due no doubt to early picking. (ST)" (09/2018)
Starting Bid: $342.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2017 Hundred Acre "Kayli Morgan Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Hundred Acre wines are consistent 100-pointers and in 2015 critic Robert Parker had the following to say about this California cult wine producer: "The genius of Jayson Woodbridge is not in dispute. A bigger than life character, he has a certain personal flamboyance and no-prisoners-taken persona, but what he and his team do in the vineyards and winery speaks for itself. These are remarkable wines, with his Cabernet Sauvignons some of the very finest in the world, and his Pinot Noir projects all high quality and pleasing to a multitude of diverse palates."
Starting Bid: $3,200.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2017 Sine Qua Non "The Hated Hunter" California Syrah (100JD, 98RP, 96VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "Named after Manfred’s grandfather, the 2017 Syrah The Hated Hunter is 82.4% Syrah, 7.8% Petite Sirah, 5.2% Mourvèdre, 2% Grenache, and the rest a mix of white varieties that spent just over 23 months in 59% new French oak. A classic 2017, it has an incredible nose of spice red and black fruits, ground pepper, dried flowers, and sandalwood. With full-bodied richness, no hard edges, gorgeous purity of fruit, and a finish that won't quit, it has everything you could want from a bottle of wine. " (08/2020)
Starting Bid: $400.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2017 Sokol Blosser "Estate" Dundee Hills Oregon Pinot Noir (93JS, 92VN, 91RP, 91WE, 90WS). James Suckling: "A complex, youthful nose with plenty of potential, as the spicy oak sits up across brambly, fresh and vibrant cherry aromas. The palate has a very succulent feel – plenty of moreish appeal here. The tannins are so juicy and alluring. Really expansive at the finish. " (01/2020)
Starting Bid: $80.00

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2017 The Third Twin (Sine Qua Non) "Nuestra Señora del Tercer Gemelo" Central Coast Red Blend (OWC - 98JD, 98RP, (94-96VN)) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This is the second edition of this single-vineyard cuvée from The Third Twin estate in Los Alamos, as a follow-up to last year’s “Nuestra Senora Del Tercer Gemelo,” but this time the core of the blend is Grenache as opposed to Mourvèdre. Due to a possible trademark dispute, this wine may get a name change prior to release, potentially to be called, “The Other Lady.” The small proportion of Viognier in this blend was co-fermented with red grapes, but interestingly, because it ripens earlier than the reds, the white berries were frozen and added to the reds at the time of fermentation. As an added bonus, these frozen grapes help to cool and, therefore, slow the fermentation. This wine was recently bottled, on May 22, 2020, after spending 32 months in French oak, 12% new. (LPB)" (08/2020)
Starting Bid: $1,250.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2017 Darioush "Signature" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (92RP, 92WE, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Deep purple black colored, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon reveals notions of warm cassis, blueberry preserves and boysenberries with touches of cedar chest, cherry cola and spice cake. Full-bodied, the palate has a firm, grainy texture and a lively line carrying the spicy black berry preserves flavors to a nice long finish. (LPB)" (10/2019)
Starting Bid: $176.00

Of the 2017 Testarossa "Pisoni Vineyard" Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir, Connoisseurs Guide writes: "Testarossa's Niclaire bottling earns its spurs for its marvelous marriage of refinement and fruity precision, but the 2017 Pisoni Pinot Noir shares top honors by dint of its show-stopping concentration and depth. It is a dense, very full-scaled effort of uncompromising richness that holds nothing back and boasts an absolute wealth of authoritative cherry and plum fruit that never relents." (11/2019)
Starting Bid: $200.00

Of the 2017 Occidental "Bodegas Headlands - Cuvée Elizabeth" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir, Jeb Dunnuck writes: "One of my favorites in the lineup (but we are splitting hairs), the 2017 Pinot Noir Bodega Headlands ineyard Cuvee Elizabeth comes from the estate vineyard located around the estate, lying at 400 to 750 feet in elevation. " (05/2020)
Starting Bid: $260.00

Bid on this bottle of 2017 DRC Domaine de la Romanée-Conti Romanée-St-Vivant Grand Cru (97DC, 95RP, 95VN, 94BH). Decanter: "Bertrand de Villaine sometimes refers to Romanée-St-Vivant as 'monastic' and there can indeed be a taut, almost ascetic note to the wine when it’s young. This is the tightest and most focused of the 2017s, showing subtle, struck match reduction, chalky top notes and subtle whole bunch aromas of clove and aniseed. The palate is refined, refreshing and almost mouth-watering, with red cherry and wild strawberry fruit, underlying tension and wonderful length. (TA)" (01/2020)
Starting Bid: $1,850.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2017 Opus One Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (96DC, 95JS, 95RP, 95VN). Decanter: "A fist of late summer cherries, raspberry and bilberry fruits set out their stall, all with the juicy character that confirms, even in a hot vintage like 2017, Opus can deliver balance and sculpted elegance. Beautiful grip, creamy texture with a strikingly powerful tannic frame. As the wine stays in the glass the floral aromatics begin to bloom up. A brilliant Opus. 20 days maceration - around half what it would have been a decade ago. 54% native yeast, as part of their native yeast project. 5% Merlot and 1% Malbec complete the blend. Harvest spread out over September 5 to October 8, just before the fires, by which time they had less than 10% of the fruit still out on the vines. (JA)" (08/2020)
Starting Bid: $870.00

Bid on this bottle of 2017 MacDonald Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (96JD, 96WS, 95RP, 95VN). Wine Spectator: "Intense cassis and steeped cherry flavors form the core, while singed tobacco, warm loam and savory notes swirl around. In a youthful state now, wrestling with itself as warm gravel, roasted juniper and dark olive elements vie for attention. Cellaring will let this unwind fully. Leans toward the old-school side of the stylistic spectrum. (JM)" (11/2020)
Starting Bid: $350.00

Bid on this bottle of 2017 Carter "Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard - La Verdad" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96JD, 94VN, 93RP). Jeb Dunnuck: "In the same mold as the La Bam, but with a touch more minerality, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Las Piedras La Verdad boasts a deep purple color as well as loads of ripe black cherry and plum fruits intermixed with notes of liquid violets, bouquet garni, and crushed rocks. Beautifully balanced and full-bodied, it has notable freshness as well as tannins." (01/2020)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2017 Sloan Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (98JS, 97JD, 96RP, 94VN). James Suckling: "Wonderful aromas of blueberries, blackberries, mushrooms, pine and blackcurrants. Some violets, too. Full-bodied, yet so refined and polished with wonderful fruit and a linear tannin structure that integrates beautifully into the wine. It’s so balanced and beautiful. Hard not to drink now, but better after 2023." (12/2020)
Starting Bid: $925.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2017 Booker "Vertigo" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (99JD, 96VN, 93RP, 93WS). Jeb Dunnuck: "I loved the 2017 Vertigo from barrel, and it didn’t disappoint from bottle. A blend of 63% Syrah, 30% Mourvèdre, and the rest Grenache and Petite Sirah, brought up in 65% new French oak, this full-bodied, massively endowed 2017 has complex notes of blue fruits, blood orange, violets, and exotic spices. As with all Eric’s 2017s, it’s rich and concentrated yet has remarkable purity and elegance at the same time." (10/2019)
Starting Bid: $110.01

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2017 Ridge Vineyards "Estate" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (94VN, 93JD, 93W&S). Vinous: "Ridge’s 2017 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is a fabulous choice for readers who want a Monte Bello fix now, without having to wait. Supple, radiant and silky, with tremendous balance, the 2017 is just flat-out delicious and utterly irresistible. Dark red cherry/plum fruit, mocha, licorice, sweet tobacco and a kick of American oak build as this sumptuous Cabernet Sauvignon shows its allure. The 2017 is an outrageously beautiful wine. Don’t miss it. (AG)" (09/2020)

Of the 2017 Aubert "Hudson Vineyard" Carneros Chardonnay, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "Coming from Hudson selection, Old Wente clone vines that over 20 years old and planted on the Napa side of Carneros, the 2017 Chardonnay Hudson features super intense notes of freshly squeezed lemon, lime zest, warm apricots and honeydew melon with hints of hay, paraffin wax and crushed nuts plus a waft of cinnamon toast. The full-bodied palate is very tightly wound with electric tension and has loads of citrusy accents coming through on the very, very long finish. (LPB)" (10/2019)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2017 Corison Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95WE, 94JS, 94WS, 93JG, 92RP, 92W&S, 91CG). Wine Enthusiast: "From benchland vineyards, the winemaker's perennial beauty of a wine is structured, evolved, graceful and complex, with powerful floral aromatics of rose and violet. Earthy and herbal, it tastes of rock and iron, with bright underlying invitations of cassis, tangy cherry and plum. This will do well in the cellar. *Cellar Selection* (VB)" (09/2020)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2017 Andremily "No. 6" Santa Barbara County Syrah (100JD, (96-98RP), 95VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2017 No 6 is another killer bottle of wine from Jim Binns, offering incredible richness and depth while staying light, elegant, and graceful. Stunning notes of smoked meat, cassis, black pepper, violets, bouquet garni (bay leaf, thyme), and honeysuckle all soar from the glass. These carry to a rich, powerful, perfectly balanced Syrah with awesome tannins, no hard edges, and a great, great finish." (08/2020)
Starting Bid: $210.01

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2017 Kistler "Laguna Ridge Vineyard" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir (96VN, 95DC, 95JD, 93RP). Vinous: "The 2017 Pinot Noir Laguna Ridge is sweet, floral and lifted, all qualities that work beautifully to temper the natural intensity of the year. Succulent red berry, mint, spice, licorice and pomegranate give the Laguna Ridge striking freshness and nuance. Next to the bigger Cuvée Natalie, the Laguna Ridge is brighter, more aromatic and also more restrained, although, it, too, is certainty not lacking in intensity. Laguna Ridge is the only site in this range from which Kistler makes both Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. (AG)" (05/2019)
Starting Bid: $280.00

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2017 Domaine Fabien Coche Meursault "Les Chevalières". This family-run domain, based in Meursault, was created by Julien Coche in 1940 and began as just one hectare of vines. His son Alain took over from him, expanded the holdings, and earned a high reputation for the vintages he produced. Alain is the cousin of Jean-Francois Coche of Domaine Coche-Dury. In fact it was not that long ago that the two domaines shared an almost identical label. Under Alain the wines underwent a revamp and feature a new, modern label.
Starting Bid: $240.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2017 Cattleya "Belly of the Whale" Carneros Pinot Noir (96RP, 95JD, 93WE, 92JS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Grapes for the 2017 Pinot Noir Belly of the Whale come from old vines on the Donum estate, and yields were only one ton per acre. Pale to medium ruby, it has a very pretty perfumed nose of toast, woodsmoke, dried rose petal and violet, perfumed earth, potpourri and autumn leaves, with perfectly ripe blue and red fruits at the core - lots of layers here! Light to medium-bodied and silky in the mouth, the fruits, spice and floral notes interplay beautifully, supported by very fine, granulated tannins and absolutely intoxicating freshness to carry the long, layered, spicy finish. 78 cases were made. (EB)" (04/2019)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2017 Rivers-Marie "Occidental Ridge Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (96JD, 95VN, 93RP). Jeb Dunnuck: "A big, rich, powerful 2017, the 2017 Pinot Noir Occidental Ridge Vineyard comes all from Dijon clones and spent 10 months in 25% new French oak. It’s loaded with notions of cassis, smoked herbs, mint, and spicy aromas and flavors and is medium to full-bodied, with a stacked mid-palate as well as a great finish. It’s another terrific Pinot Noir from this estate that can be drunk today with incredible pleasure or cellared for upwards of a decade." (06/2019)

Bid on this bottle of 2017 The Third Twin (Sine Qua Non) Central Coast Graciano (98JD, 98VN, 97RP). Vinous: "The 2017 The Third Twin Graciano is a total show stopper, and that's saying a lot in this lineup from Elaine and Manfred Krankl. Dark, powerful and savory, the 2017 boasts off the charts richness and tremendous intensity. An exotic mélange of dark fruit, grilled herbs, licorice and espresso builds into the huge finish. The blend is 88% Graciano, 6% Mourvèdre, 4% Petite Sirah and 2% Viognier. The Krankls have clearly created something special here. All I can say is: Wow! (AG)" (08/2020)
Starting Bid: $260.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2017 Quintessa Rutherford Bordeaux Blend (OWC - 95JS, 95RP, 92WS) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Already bottled, the 2017 Quintessa displays a deep garnet-purple color. The nose needs a little coaxing before it reveals bold, expressive notes of crushed red and black plums, black currant jelly, wild blueberries and kirsch with nuances of camphor, cloves, cedar and lilacs plus a hint of oolong tea. Medium to full-bodied, the palate has beautifully expressed, elegant red and black fruit layers, with a sturdy, grainy frame and plenty of freshness, finishing long and earthy. (LPB)" (10/2019)
