Bid on this 3-bottle tasting lot; including 2-bottles of 2016 Arista "Mononi Vineyard" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir (93RP, 90VN) and 1-bottle of 2016 Arista "Toboni Vineyard" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir. Of the 2016 Arista "Mononi Vineyard" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "The 2016 Pinot Noir Mononi Vineyard is pale to medium ruby in color with crushed blueberry and cranberry sauce to begin, opening to savory notes of green peppercorn and tobacco leaf with a core of sweet red berries. Medium-bodied with concentrated fruits in the mouth and loads of savory accents, it has fine, grainy tannins and juicy acidity, finishing very long and very savory. 568 cases produced. (EB) 93+" (04/2019)
Starting Bid: $125.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Margaux, Margaux (99JS, 99RP, 99VN, 99WE, 98DC, 97JD, 97WS). Vinous: "The 2016 Château Margaux has an intense bouquet of blackberry, briar, crushed stone and subtle cedar aromas that enrapture the senses; hints of pencil box and sous-bois emerge with time. The harmonious palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins and a fine bead of acidity, and a touch of bitterness lends tension on the finish. Impressive – very impressive. (NM)" (08/2020)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Scarecrow Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 100JD, 100RP, 98DC, 98VN) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Scarecrow is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from two acres of old vines planted in 1945 by John Daniel and dry farmed. Very deep garnet-purple colored, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon comes sashaying out of the glass with tantalizing notions of violets, lavender, Black Forest cake, mulberries, tobacco leaf and fragrant earth with a core of warm cassis, kirsch, Chinese five spice, rose hip tea and cedar chest. The palate is full-bodied and super concentrated yet possesses great energy with vibrant red and black fruits and loads of mineral accents, framed by very ripe, super fine-grained tannins and fantastic freshness, finishing very long with the most incredible perfume. Hedonistically, undeniably and deliciously perfect. (LPB)" (10/2018)
Starting Bid: $1,650.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2016 Sine Qua Non "Rätsel 16" California Syrah (100JD, 99RP, 98VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2016 Syrah Rätsel 16 showed incredibly from barrel and it certainly doesn’t disappoint from bottle. Pure perfection in Syrah, this beauty boasts a deep purple hue as well as a stacked bouquet of ripe blackberries, cured meats, scorched earth, white pepper, white chocolate, and bacon fat. Deep, full-bodied, and massively concentrated, it builds incrementally on the palate, with ultra-fine tannins, perfect balance, and a finish that won’t quit. I struggle to think of another wine that delivers this level of intensity without any sensation of weight or heaviness. The 2016s, in general, are relatively approachable, but nevertheless, do your best to hide bottles for 3-4 years." (10/2019)
Starting Bid: $420.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (98VN, 97JD, 96RP, 96W&S, 96WS, 95JS). Vinous: "One of the highlights in this tasting, the 2016 Monte Bello has turned out just as beautifully as I hoped it would. Soaring aromatics, bright acids and mid-weight structure give the 2016 a super-classic feel. Clearly, the 2016 is very primary today, with plenty of bright red and purplish berry fruit. More than that, though, the 2016 pulses with energy and simply exceptional balance. Don't miss it! (AG)" (10/2019)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Léoville-Las Cases, St-Julien (100DC, 100JD, 100JS, 100RP, 98VN, 98WS, 97WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Very deep purple-black colored, the 2016 Léoville Las Cases (composed of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Merlot and 11% Cabernet Franc) is quite closed to begin, yet with patient coaxing it unfurls beautifully to reveal suggestions of ripe blackcurrants, black raspberries, warm redcurrants and wild blueberries, followed by touches of unsmoked cigars, tilled red soil, cast iron pan, fallen leaves and lavender plus wonderfully fragrant wafts of lilacs and baking spices. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is packed with tightly knit, very subtle layers of minerals, floral notions and black and red berries, all framed by exquisitely ripe, silt-like tannins and fantastic freshness, finishing with epic length and depth. Simply captivating even in its youth, give it at least a decade in the cellar and then enjoy it over the next 50+ years. (LPB)" (11/2018)

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2016 Kosta Browne "Keefer Ranch" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir (97JD, 94JS, 93RP, 93WS, 90VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "Coming from the Sonoma Coast, the 2016 Pinot Noir Keefer Ranch offers a classic, perfumed, red (sometimes blue) fruit driven perfume that I often associate with this cooler region. Wild strawberries, pomegranates, forest floor, and hints of leafy herbs all emerge from this medium-bodied, incredibly elegant and seamless Pinot Noir. I love its purity of fruit. It offers intensity with no weight and a great, great finish. It’s a brilliant wine." (06/2018)
Starting Bid: $350.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2016 Cos d'Estournel, St-Estèphe (OWC - 100JS, 100RP, 100VN, 99JD, 97DC, 96WE, 96WS) in original wood. Vinous: "The 2016 Cos d’Estournel was a bona fide showstopper out of barrel, the best that I had encountered in over 20 years of visiting the estate during en primeur, so my expectations were piled high when I returned to find out how it performs in bottle. Deep, almost opaque in color, it sports a very intense but broody bouquet with fathomless deep black fruit tinged with blueberry and violet. The aromas almost seem to envelop the senses. The palate is medium-bodied with ultra-fine tannin that I have never witnessed in any other vintage of Cos d’Estournel. There is a beguiling symmetry to this Saint-Estèphe, as well as unerring mineralité. The persistent, tobacco-tinged finish can be felt 60 second after the wine has departed. (NM)" (01/2019)

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2016 Léoville-Barton, St-Julien (97JS, 97WS, 96JD, 96VN, 96WE, 95RP, 94DC). James Suckling: "Terrific intensity of dark berries, almost peppery blackcurrants and violets with attractive and integrated, spicy oak and an earthy edge. The palate has a super powerful and long, linear core with plenty of fruit flesh strapped in tight for a long and thrilling ride into the finish." (02/2019)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Sea Smoke "Ten" Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir (93VN). Vinous: "Sea Smoke's 2016 Pinot Noir Ten is rich, boisterous and inviting from the very first taste. A wine of real immediacy and impact, the Ten has so much to offer. Black cherry, plum, hard candy, lavender, sweet spice and new oak are front and center in this lush, beautifully persistent Pinot Noir from Sea Smoke. The Ten will appeal most to readers who appreciate lush Pinots. There is certainly plenty to like here, that much is obvious. (AG)" (09/2019)
Starting Bid: $255.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Henri Germain et Fils Meursault 1er Cru "Les Charmes" ((91-93BH), 91VN). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "Here there are no such reductive notes with its pure and elegant nose that offers up notes of essence of spiced pear, citrus and acacia blossom scents. Beautifully delineated, intense and vibrant middle weight flavors possess a notably finer mouth feel while exhibiting excellent persistence on the dry and youthfully austere finale. This will also require at least moderate patience. *Sweet Spot, Outstanding*" (06/2018)
Starting Bid: $275.00

Bid on this 6-bottle tasting lot in original wood; including 3-bottles of 2016 Sine Qua Non "Pajarito del Amor - Eleven Confessions Vineyard" Sta. Rita Hills Grenache (100JD, 100RP, 98VN) and 3-bottles of 2016 Sine Qua Non "Subir - Eleven Confessions Vineyard" Sta. Rita Hills Syrah (100JD, 99RP, 98VN). Of the 2016 Sine Qua Non "Pajarito del Amor - Eleven Confessions Vineyard" Sta. Rita Hills Grenache, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "Composed of 85.4% Grenache, 7.1% Petite Sirah, 6.9% Syrah and 0.6% Viognier, employing 56% whole cluster, the nose of this opaque, garnet-purple colored uber-Grenache completely explodes with a candied violets, mandarin peel and Indian spices perfume, giving way to a core of bursting-ripe red berries—redcurrants, Morello cherries and raspberries—with an undercurrent of earth, earth and more sweet, fragrant earth. (LPB)" (08/2020)
Starting Bid: $2,150.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Henri Germain et Fils Meursault 1er Cru "Poruzots" ((90-93BH)). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "Moderate reduction is enough to overshadow the underlying fruit today. Otherwise here too there is excellent volume and weight if not quite the sheer size to the sappy flavors that also possess good muscle on the solidly complex and perhaps even slightly longer finish. At least some patience will be required. *Outstanding*" (06/2018)
Starting Bid: $285.00

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2016 The Third Twin (Sine Qua Non) "Nuestra Señora del Tercer Gemelo" Central Coast Red Blend (OWC - 99RP, 98JD, 95VN) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Very deep garnet-purple in color, the 2016 Nuestra Senora Del Tercer Gemelo has a wonderfully meaty/savory nose over a core of crème de cassis and baked plums with nut and fruit cake undertones followed by yeast extract, tilled soil, fungi and unsmoked cigar notes. The massively rich, full-bodied palate is incredibly precise, features wonderfully delineated, complex savory, earthy and mineral layers, all lifted by fantastic freshness. (LPB) 99+" (06/2019)
Starting Bid: $1,645.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2016 Tenuta Sette Ponti "Oreno" Toscana (99JS, 94RP, 94VN, 93WS, 92DC). James Suckling: "Gorgeous floral and deep, dark berry aromas with hints of spices such as cinnamon and hazelnuts. Full body and ultra-fine and strong tannins that are powerful yet so sleek and beautiful. Fantastic length and texture. Deep, dark and profound. Takes you on a long journey and shows you its true character. Better in 2025. Give it time." (05/2018)
Starting Bid: $136.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Kongsgaard "Hudson Vineyard" Napa Valley Syrah (99VN, 98RP). Vinous: "The 2016 Syrah Hudson Vineyards is simply magnificent. Deep and unctuous, yet also exquisitely layered, the 2016 has so much going on. A rush of black pepper, menthol, lavender, licorice, cured meat and smoke build into the explosive finish as this dramatic, statuesque Syrah shows off its personality and pedigree. In a word: tremendous. (AG)" (12/2018)
Starting Bid: $390.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2016 Caymus Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1L) (92WS). Wine Spectator: "This is frankly ripe, showing waves of plum and boysenberry compote flavors gliding through, liberally laced with sweet singed vanilla bean and warm anise notes. Very polished in feel, the toast marrying nicely with the showy fruit on the finish. For fans of the style. (JM)" (02/2019)
Starting Bid: $540.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2016 Spottswoode "Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100JD, 100RP, 96VN, 96WE, 96WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon is still very tight and youthful, slowly unfurling to reveal a multifaceted wine with tons of black, blue and red fruit sparks—plums, cherries, black currants and red currants—with dark chocolate, cedar chest, black tea and red roses in the background plus wafts of pencil lead and prosciutto. Medium-bodied and firmly textured by superbly ripe, grainy tannins, it has a fantastic core of intense, complex layers, finishing on an edifying mineral note. Wow! (LPB)" (10/2018)
Starting Bid: $407.00

Bid on this 4-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2016 Arista "Banfield Vineyard" Russian River Valley Chardonnay (97JD, 94WS, 93RP) and 3-bottles of 2016 Arista Russian River Valley Chardonnay (94JD, 93VN, 93WS, 92RP). Of the 2016 Arista "Banfield Vineyard" Russian River Valley Chardonnay, Jeb Dunnuck writes: "Seeing the same elevage (12 months in one-third new oak followed by six months in tank), the 2016 Chardonnay Banfield Vineyard has a more savory style with notes of baked apple, honeyed minerality, brioche, and some toasty, nutty notes. It's beautifully balanced, has a rich, textured mouthfeel, and a great finish. It's another brilliant wine from this estate." (06/2019)

Bid on this bottle of 2016 Mouton Rothschild, Pauillac (100JD, 100JS, 100RP, 100VN, 99DC, 98WE, 98WS). Vinous: "A towering, thrilling wine, the 2016 Mouton Rothschild is unbelievably beautiful today. Aromatics, fruit density and vertical structure all come together. In the glass, the 2016 is remarkably vivid and powerful, and yet a gentler, more feminine side emerges with time in the glass. The intense, mineral, savory profile recalls the 1986, but the 2016 has more grace, inner sweetness and sophistication than that wine. Even so, the 2016 is going to need at least a number of years in bottle before it starts drinking well, although it won't be the bruiser the 1986 remains to this day. This is breathtaking wine from Mouton, Tecnical Director Philippe Dhalluin and his team. (AG)" (01/2019)

Bid on this 3 liter of 2016 Myriad "Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (3L).
Starting Bid: $550.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 d'Armailhac, Pauillac (95JS, 94JD, 93DC, 93RP, 93VN, 93WS, 90WE). James Suckling: "This is a really driven d’Armailhac showing blackcurrants and fruit tea with hints of bark on the nose and palate. Full-bodied, very firm and structured with a long and powerful finish. Direct and linear. " (02/2019)

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2016 Kosta Browne "Bootlegger's Hill" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir (97JD, 97WE, 95JS, 92RP, 91VN). Wine Enthusiast: "This stunning, spectacular wine from a fantastic vintage is memorable in every way. Generous black cherry, cola and dusty Asian spice dance around a structured complex richness of length and breadth, the texture silky, sophisticated and floral. Fresh acidity abounds and gives contrasting crispness to the looming brooding earthiness. (VB)" (05/2020)
Starting Bid: $440.00

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2016 Kosta Browne "Gap's Crown Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (96JS, 95JD, 93RP, 93WS). James Suckling: "Lots of purple fruit with cherry and raspberry character and hints of violets on the nose. Full body that is very dense with defined layers. Yet, remains agile and fresh. Hints of salt. A little reserved now. Needs two or three years of bottle age. " (05/2018)
Starting Bid: $385.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2016 Arista "Two Birds Vineyard" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir (95RP, 93WS, 91VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2016 Pinot Noir Two Birds Estate has a pale to medium ruby color and aromas of violet, pink peppercorn, potpourri, prosciutto and dusty earth, with crunchy red and black fruits at the core. Medium to full-bodied, it packs in the fruit, earth and savory layers, with firm framing tannins and juicy acidity to carry the long, savory, bergamot-laced finish. This is just stuffed with flavor and is very dense. Yum! 227 cases were made. (EB) 95+" (04/2019)
Starting Bid: $115.00

Bid on this bottle of 2016 Realm "The Absurd" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (100JD, 99RP). Jeb Dunnuck: "Lastly, and made with the idea of producing the best of the best (it’s the first blend the team put together), the 2016 The Absurd checks in as 66% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Cabernet Franc, 15% Merlot, the rest Petit Verdot brought up in new barrels. It’s a hedonistic dream offering incredible black and blue fruits, gravelly minerality, cold fireplace, smoke tobacco, and forest floor. Deep, layered, and straight-up massive on the palate, it’s another wine from this estate that stays weightless and elegant. Few wines can carry this incredible mix of richness and elegance, and this beauty is unquestionably one of the finest wines in the vintage." (09/2018)
Starting Bid: $1,060.00

Bid on this bottle of 2016 The Third Twin (Sine Qua Non) Central Coast Graciano (98RP, 98VN, 97JD). Vinous: "The 2016 The Third Twin Graciano seems to be especially well-suited to Manfred and Elaine Krankl's Three Twins site. The 2016 is another fabulous edition. Super-ripe black cherry, plum, chocolate, new leather, licorice, menthol and spice flesh out in a sumptuous, beautifully textured wine that hits all the right notes. Dollops of Mourvèdre and Petite Sirah round out the blend. The 2016 is vibrant, explosive and flat-out stunning. Wow! (AG) 98+" (09/2019)
Starting Bid: $265.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2016 Sine Qua Non "Dirt Vernacular" California Grenache (100JD, 98RP, 98VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "I called the 2016 Grenache Dirt Vernacular a perfect wine last year, and it’s still straight-up heavenly stuff that tops out on my scale this year. A blend of 78% Grenache, 11.5% Mourvèdre, 7% Touriga Nacional, and the rest Petite Sirah, it comes mostly from the Eleven Confessions Vineyard in the Sta. Rita Hills yet also includes fruit from the Third Twin, Cumulus, Bien Nacido, and Molly Aida vineyards. Aged 23 months in 38% new French oak, it offers awesome notes of kirsch liqueur, blackberries, ground pepper, leafy herbs, and graphite as well as a full-bodied, powerful, yet weightless style on the palate. It’s one of those wines that offer incredible intensity and depth, yet stays weightless, seamless, and elegant. It’s a magical wine and one of the greatest Grenache releases to ever come from California." (10/2019)
Starting Bid: $437.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2016 Rivers-Marie Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95JD, 92RP, 92VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "Starting with the least expensive release, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley makes you wonder why you would spend more on the top cuvées. This full-bodied, fruit-forward, yet deep, layered beauty gives up complex notes of crème de cassis, graphite, incense, and candied violets." (01/2019)
Starting Bid: $146.00

Bid on this magnum of 2016 William & Mary "Shifflett Ranch Vineyard" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (1.5L) (94VN, 91JD). Vinous: "The 2016 Proprietary Red Shifflett Vineyard, equal parts Merlot and Cabernet Franc, is dense, plush and super-inviting. Leather, smoke, tobacco, menthol, espresso, licorice and spice give the wine striking aromatic intensity to play off the dark stone fruit. The Franc tannins need time to soften, but this is an exceptionally beautiful wine in every way. Savory herb, leather, tobacco and cedar notes build in the glass in a layered, expressive wine that is full of character. (AG)" (10/2018)
Starting Bid: $160.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Myriad "Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98JD, 98RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Made up of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, the deep purple-black colored 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard opens with seriously earthy notions of tilled black soil, mossy tree bark, morels and wet pebbles over a black-fruited core of cassis, freshly crushed blackberries and warm plums plus touches of unsmoked cigars and fallen leaves. Full-bodied and packed to the gills with complex mineral, earth and black fruit layers, it has a rock-solid structure of firm, ripe, fine-grained tannins and seamless freshness, finishing long with a provocative spiciness coming through. (LPB)" (10/2018)
