Bid on this bottle of 2012 Screaming Eagle "Second Flight" Oakville Bordeaux Blend (97JS, 96RP, 95JD). James Suckling: "This is very structured with ripe and silky tannins that shows a dense and compacted fruit character. It's full and racy. Impressive tone and form." (07/2015)

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Cardinale Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, 96DC, 95VN, 92WS, 91JS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Cardinale’s 2012 Proprietary Red, the flagship wine from the Jackson Family, was looked after and put-together by winemaker Chris Carpenter from numerous vineyard sites traversing Napa Valley. The 2012's final blend was 84% Cabernet Sauvignon and 16% Merlot with 94% new French oak used. Terroirists undoubtedly lament the fact that nine different vineyards and seven different appellations were utilized, but the resulting wine is prodigious. A dense purple color is accompanied by notes of graphite, blackberries, blackcurrants, roasted coffee, vanillin, baking spices and forest floor. (RP)" (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this magnum of 2012 Schrader "Old Sparky" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (100RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Another compelling, perfect wine is the 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer to Kalon Vineyard Old Sparky. This is Clone 4 and Clone 6, as well as Clone 337, blended together from the Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard, aged in 100% new Darnajou barrels. For whatever reason, this wine seems to show more chocolate, espresso roast, barbecue smoke, dense blackberry and blueberry fruit and enormous body with not a touch of heaviness or astringency. This is a fabulous offering. It should drink well for 20-25 years. (RP)" (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $925.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Joseph Phelps "Insignia" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (97JD, 97JS, 96RP, 96VN, 95CG, 95WE, 93WS, 92W&S). James Suckling: "Amazing aromas of blueberry, blackberry, mineral and bark. Complex nose. Full body plus super integrated tannins with superb balance and depth. Coffee and chocolate too. Very long and mind-bending. A tribute to the vintage. Drink or hold. A long life ahead of it. " (11/2015)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Palazzo "Right Bank" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (98RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 is a blend of 65% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine displays abundant spice box, cedar wood, blackberry and cassis fruit, and an emerging but very subtle note of chocolate, which is one of the hallmarks of these wines. With a super-duper, full-bodied, savory mouthfeel, great balance and purity, pristine fruit, tremendous intensity, low acidity, and silky, velvety tannins, this is a killer effort and a voluptuous blockbuster Right Bank effort from Scott Palazzo. (RP) 98+" (08/2015)
Starting Bid: $140.00

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Saxum "Broken Stones" Paso Robles Red Blend (97RP, 95VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Syrah Broken Stones is a beauty. Of the 2012 Williams Selyem "Estate Vineyard" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir, Wine Enthusiast writes: "Silky on the palate, this offers exotic aromas of orange blossom and spicy cardamom. Juicy in fresh cherry, it combines structured elegance and plenty of power, amid a mouthwatering quality that’s seductively delicious and yet just begs the question of how much more nuanced the flavors will be in time. *Cellar Selection* (VB)" (04/2015)
Starting Bid: $175.00

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Caymus "40th Anniversary" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1L) (96RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "They appear to be immune to some of winedom’s less than intelligent trends and fads that we see from time to time, and the result is a spectacular 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon 40th Anniversary offering. Its dense purple/black color is followed by copious quantities of crème de cassis and blackberry fruit, silky tannins, a voluptuous texture and stunning purity as well as length. This full-bodied effort is a fabulous example of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon as well as a tribute to this amazing family. Amazing! (RP)" (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $199.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2012 Heitz Cellar Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. In the 1960s, Heitz Wine Cellars was part of the new wave of the Napa Valley, and their sought-after Martha's Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon was perhaps one of the first "cult" Cabs. Today, Heitz is better known as one of the "old guard" of Napa, hewing to a classic and balanced style of Cabernet that's aged for half of its elevage in large oak ovals and tanks--the way it was in decades past. Producer Note: "Our 2012 Napa Valley Cabernet encapsulates the freshness of a near-perfect growing season. Aromas of fresh-picked blackberry and cassis abound from this lively wine. A beautiful, inviting wine that effortlessly balances classic Cabernet richness with silky tannins on the palate. This is a quintessential Cabernet Sauvignon through and through--at once charming and complex. This is one to sip now or savor later. It will reward you either way."
Starting Bid: $270.00

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Marcassin "Marcassin Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (97JD, 97RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Pinot Noir Marcassin Vineyard, which comes primarily from the Calera clone (although I suspect there are a few mystery clones in their plantings), always seems to remind me of a grand cru from Burgundy’s Côte de Nuits, particularly Morey-St.-Denis. Dense ruby/plum, its sweet nose of strawberries, black cherry liqueur, fresh porcini mushrooms and forest floor is followed by a dark, full-bodied, rich and concentrated wine that is supple, dramatic, and even flamboyant. (RP)" (03/2016)
Starting Bid: $240.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Morlet "Morlet Estate" St. Helena Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 94DC, 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "From his nearly six acres of Cabernet Sauvignon planted with Margaux cuttings near Vineyard 29 and Colgin’s Tychson Hill vineyards, the 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Morlet Estate (100% Cabernet Sauvignon) displays the vintage’s open, opulent, plush personality. With exceptional intensity, plenty of crème de cassis, vanillin, floral and lead pencil notes, this full-bodied 2012 offers low acidity as well as impressive flavors. There are 275 cases of this gorgeous red. It should drink well for 15-20 years. (RP)" (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $235.00

Bid on this bottle of 2012 San Guido "Sassicaia" Bolgheri (99WE, 95JS, 94VN, 94W&S, 93WS). Wine Enthusiast: "One of Italy’s most iconic bottlings, the 2012 Sassicaia is drop-dead gorgeous. A blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Cabernet Franc, it boasts sensations of blue flowers, cedar, juicy red currants, ripe raspberries, white pepper and a balsamic note. Structured, radiant and loaded with finesse, it delivers everything you’d expect from a world-class wine and more. *Top Ten Cellar Selections of 2018* (KO)" (08/2015)
Starting Bid: $205.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2012 Sine Qua Non "Stein" Central Coast Grenache (97RP, (95-97VN)). Vinous: "The 2012 Grenache Stein is incredibly refined, silky and pure, with bright red and blue-hued fruits. Today, the flavors are primary, so readers will have to be patient get the full breadth of aromas, flavors and textures. The Stein is a decidedly feminine, gracious Grenache that impresses for its textural beauty and nuance. I imagine it will provide a long and broad drinking window of pure pleasure over the next 15-20 years. This is an absolutely gorgeous wine from Sine Qua Non. The final blend is 76% Grenache, 16% Syrah and 8% Mourvèdre; 53% from Eleven Confessions, 29% from Cumulus, 9% The Third Twin and 9% Bien Nacido. The 2012 was done with 29% whole clusters and will spend around 22 months in French oak (14%) prior to its scheduled bottling this summer. (AG)" (08/2015)
Starting Bid: $786.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2012 Paul Hobbs Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (93JS, 93RP, 91VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon with the Paul Hobbs moniker is pretty serious wine that could easily win many a tasting. Dense purple in color, with notes of blackcurrants, blackberry, charcoal and incense, the wine is full-bodied, opulent and a big-time winner. (RP)" (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $245.00

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Domaine Joseph Roty Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru Très Vielles Vignes (95RP, 94BH, 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The Roty 2012 Charmes-Chambertin is astoundingly good, and it has yet to shut down in the cellar. The bouquet reveals a lovely melange of black cherry, plum and rich soil tones that synergize beautifully with the wine's high toast cooperage. On the palate, the wine is carrying quite a bit of puppy fat that makes it deceptively accessible, but it's clear that when the very serious and refined structural chassis hidden behind that youthful precocity begins to open up a decade or so down the line, it will be an even more massive, bottomless wine. What a legacy the late Philippe Roty has left us! (WK)" (01/2018)
Starting Bid: $241.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Kosta Browne Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir (93ST, 92RP, 91WS, 90VN). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Vivid ruby. Powerful aromas of dark berries, potpourri and smoky Moroccan spices. Sweet, fleshy and deeply pitched, offering expansive black raspberry and spicecake flavors and a sexy floral pastille nuance. Silky tannins build slowly on the finish, which lingers with excellent, floral-dominated persistence. Showing a darker character than the Sonoma bottlings but just as much vivacity. (ST)" (05/2014)
Starting Bid: $165.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Morlet "Ma Douce" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (95RP, 94ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Chardonnay Ma Douce reminds me of a classic Bâtard-Montrachet produced by Michel Niellon in the mid-1980s. Lots of brioche, honeysuckle, caramelized citrus and buttery pear notes are found in this long, full-bodied, beautiful white. Ripe and full-bodied with terrific acidity as well as freshness, this cuvée comes from a vineyard planted at a 1, 300 foot elevation, and was bottled with indigenous yeast fermentation and no fining or filtration. (RP)" (12/2014)
Starting Bid: $118.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Pierre Bourée Fils Charmes-Chambertin (94JG). John Gilman: "The 2012 Charmes-Chambertin from the Vallets had already been bottled, but it was very much on form and showed great potential. These ninety year-old vines have produced a stellar wine in 2012, offering up a deep and very pure bouquet of red and black cherries, coffee, grilled meats, a superbly complex base of soil tones, just a touch of mustard seed and a discreet base of vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, pure and nascently complex, with a sappy core of fruit, fine-grained tannins, outstanding focus and grip and a very long, refined and perfectly balanced finish. 94+" (03/2014)
Starting Bid: $225.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Caymus "40th Anniversary" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP).
Starting Bid: $480.00

Bid on this 2-magnum lot of 2012 Beringer Knights Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (94W&S). Wine & Spirits: Beringer has made wine from Knights Valley, northwest of Napa, since the late 1970s, and now farms 500 acres of grapes on the cobbly soils that have sloughed off of the volcanic hillsides above. This 2012 is a bundle of energy, the structure tight and stony, the fruit pure, its bold and refreshing black raspberry tone interlaced with aromas that suggest resinous pine needles and a hint of smoked tea. It’s bright and accessible enough to decant now, but in ten years, it will be a rich, savory pleasure to open for prime rib. (10/2015)
Price: $100.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Miani Colli Friuli Orientali Rosso. Don't miss this chance to try one of Enzo Pontoni's rare reds. Since its founding in 1985, Miani wines have developed a cult following. Enzo is borderline-obsessed with quality and the wines are made in tiny quantities. Robert Parker had this to say about Miani "Enzo Pontoni literally lives in his vineyards, at home only for lunch and dinner. I can't remember many wines that I would rather have on my dining table. The wines are among the best that have ever been produced anywhere."
Starting Bid: $165.05

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Araujo "Eisele Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98JS, 97RP, (93-96ST), 94WS). James Suckling: "The aromas to this wine are very complex and brooding with blackcurrants, sage and spearmint. Souis bois and wet earth then turn to black fruits. Entrancing nose. This is full-bodied, yet tight and focused with compressed tannins and a long finish. Very intense volcanic sea salt to the wines. A much more subtle and mind-provoking style." (07/2015)
Starting Bid: $258.00

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Domaine Confuron-Cotetidot Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru "Suchots" (94VN, 93BH). Vinous: "The aromas and flavors of black raspberry, coffee and tropical dark chocolate show an almost liqueur-like ripeness. Rich, layered and deep, showing near-grand cru density, solidity and lift. And yet not at all overly sweet. Outstanding Suchots, finishing with superb length and considerable power. (I recently enjoyed a bottle of the estate's 1988 Suchots and it was in glorious condition and at its peak.) (ST) 94+" (03/2015)
Starting Bid: $90.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2012 Kosta Browne Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (93RP, 92VN, 92WS, 91ST, 90CG). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast is a beautiful wine that comes from four vineyards, Gap’s Crown, Griffin’s Lair, Terra de Promissio and Walala. It has a deep ruby/semi-opaque color that is followed by a youthful, rich and concentrated wine offering classic dark cherries, plum, licorice, ground herbs and baking-spice-driven aromas and flavors. Medium to full-bodied, layered and structured, it opens up beautifully with air, has seamlessly integrated fruit, tannin and alcohol, and stays classy and nicely focused on the finish. It can be enjoyed now with a decant, but will be better in another year, and have over a decade of longevity. (JD)" (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $260.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Matetic Syrah San Antonio Valley (97JS, 93W&S, 93WE). James Suckling: "This is an unbelievable red with sublime tannin texture and mind-bending depth and finesse. The nose shows granite, slate, blackberry, blueberry, and lavender aromas. Full body yet agile and harmonious. Only 350 cases made. Drink or hold. Made from biodynamic grapes. Spectacular. Could this be the La Turque of Chile?" (05/2016)
Starting Bid: $67.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Hall "Kathryn Hall" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97RP, 95WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Kathryn Hall is largely sourced from their Sacrashe Vineyard. The color is dense ruby/purple. The wine is very young, and less evolved than many of its peers, but bursting with potential. Lots of blueberry and black raspberry fruit with a hint of mocha and background oak are all present in this full-bodied, opulent, absolutely spectacular Cabernet Sauvignon. This is a long-distance runner, although not so much because of the tannic structure, because the fruit seems younger and more primary than some of its siblings. Nevertheless, it is loaded with potential promise, and as Kathryn Hall says so frequently, 'Magic.' This full-bodied, classic Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa should hit its prime in 4-5 years and last at least two decades or more. (RP) 97+" (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $345.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2012 Quilceda Creek "Palengat Vineyard" Horse Heaven Hills Bordeaux Blend (94RP, 93VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A single-vineyard blend of 59% Merlot, 29% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot, the 2012 Palengat Vineyard offers a deep, decadent style to go with classic blackberry liqueur, blueberry, graphite, toasted spices and licorice. A big, beefy, layered and full-bodied effort, it has building tannin, a supple mid-palate and terrific length. (JD)" (06/2015)
Starting Bid: $240.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Domaine A.-F. Gros Vosne-Romanée "Clos de la Fontaine" ((88-91BH), (89-91RP)). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Vosne-Romanee Clos de la Fontaine comes from the family’s monopole just below Clos des Reas. It was sold under the Michel Gros contract for 1996 and the parcel will ultimately be returned to Bernard Gros. It has a beguiling, mineral-rich bouquet with scents of strawberry short cake, citrus lemon and blood orange that is vibrant and well-defined. The palate is well-balanced with supple tannins. This is very elegant and very feminine, almost to the point where you wish for more matiere on the finish. However, that might have detracted from the harmony and silky smooth texture. This should provide fine early drinking pleasure at a high quality. (NM)" (12/2013)
