Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2010 Jones Family Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94RP, 92ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The estate’s 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate is more typical of the year in its blue and black fruit, violets, asphalt, graphite and pencil shavings. Here, too, there is considerable energy and pure minerality to back up the fruit. Graphite, tar and savory herbs add a measure of gravitas on the deeply resonant, pure finish. This is another fabulous, exciting wine from Jones Family. (AG)" (12/2012)
Starting Bid: $420.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2010 Valdicava Brunello di Montalcino (99JS, 96WS, 94VN, 93RP). James Suckling: "Absolutely stunning aromas of nectarine, orange peel, sweet black cherry, plums and flowers. Licorice and mushroom It's full body, with layers of ultra-fine tannins and hints of tangy acidity. Such beautiful length and beauty to this wine. It's powerful and structured yet shows a gorgeous finesse and length. Truly wondrous. So long and refined. The texture is phenomenal." (10/2015)
Starting Bid: $440.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2010 Smith Haut Lafitte, Pessac-Léognan (98DC, 98RP, 96WE, 96WS, 95JS, 95VN, 94ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This is an extraordinary performance once again from the Cathiard family, the proprietors of Smith-Haut-Lafitte. They think the 2010 is even better than the 2009. (I disagree, but only slightly.) This wine has laser-like definition in its an remarkable nose of a subtle charcoal fire interwoven with spring flowers, creme de cassis, blueberry liqueur and spicy wood. (RP) 98+" (02/2013)

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2010 Xavier Vignon "Cuvée Anonyme" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (95RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The powerful, rich 2010 Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee Anonyme reveals an off-the-chart level of extract, lots of glycerin (nearly 16% natural alcohol) and copious black cherry, blueberry, forest floor, lavender and graphite characteristics. This full-throttle red requires 3-4 years of cellaring and should keep for two decades.Xavier Vignon, along with Philippe Cambie, are probably the two most highly renowned oenologists in Chateauneuf du Pape as well as some of the surrounding Cotes du Rhone regions. Vignon’s office and laboratory are next to the Auto Route A7, in the same complex as Chateau Husson. (RP) 95+" (10/2012)
Starting Bid: $160.00

Bid on this 1-half-bottle lot of 2010 Carter Coliseum Block Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (375ml) (94RP, 94WS, 92ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: The sensational 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Coliseum Block displays a dense blue/purple color as well as copious notes of licorice, acacia flowers, blackberries and blueberries, a medium to full-bodied mouthfeel, supple tannins and terrific purity, texture and a 45-second finish. (RP) (10/2013)

Starting Bid: $375.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2010 Sine Qua Non "Five Shooter" Central Coast Syrah (98RP, 98VN, 94ST). Vinous: "I have tasted the 2010 Syrah Five Shooter on numerous occasions, and it has never been anything less than stellar. A stunning, expressive bouquet melds into layers of dark fruit, black pepper, sage, menthol, minerals and spices, all supported by intense graphite and melted road tar undertones. The wine seems to gain intensity with time in the glass, leading to a huge, explosive, saline-infused finish. The 2010 Syrah Five Shooter is a stunner from Sine Qua Non. The blend is 85% Syrah, 5% Grenache, 5% Roussanne, 3% Petite Sirah and 2% Viognier, with a total of 20% whole clusters, that spent 22 months in French oak barrels, about 59% new. (AG)" (07/2013)
Starting Bid: $460.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2010 Fontodi Chianti Classico (93RP, 93VN, 92JS, 91WE). Vinous: "The 2010 Chianti Classico boasts striking inner perfume, but is otherswise very shut down. Today, the 2010 seems to combine the finesse of the 2004 with some of the structure of the 2006. Clean veins of 2010 acidity support the brilliant, sensual finish. The 2010 is a gorgeous wine with a bright future, although readers will need to be patient. (AG)" (08/2013)
Starting Bid: $60.00

Bid on this bottle of 2010 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96ST, 95DC, 95WS). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Brooding aromas of blackberry, cassis, espresso, graphite, bitter chocolate and licorice. Plush, dense and utterly seamless, boasting lovely lift and sweetness to the black raspberry, dark chocolate and licorice flavors accented by wild herbs. Wonderfully glossy, suave Cabernet with a 3-D texture and outstanding depth; generous yet primary. Spreads out on the very long, building finish to saturate the palate with rich chocolatey tannins. For all its impressive richness, this Cabernet retains a light touch that I have not necessarily found in warmer recent vintages of Quilceda Creek's flagship wine. (ST)" (11/2013)
Starting Bid: $115.00

Bid on this bottle of 2010 Casanova di Neri "Pietradonice" Toscana (92JS). James Suckling: "This is a wine that shows ripe fruit and hints of plums and chocolate. Full body, with soft tannins and a fruity finish. Very delicious now. A pure Cabernet Sauvignon from the Brunello master. " (07/2013)
Starting Bid: $57.00

Bid on this bottle of 2010 Domaine Louis Jadot Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru "Clos St-Jacques" ((92-95BH), 95JG, (93-95RP), 94WE, 93VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Gevrey-Chambertin Clos-Saint-Jacques is all about finesse and seamless beauty. A refined, aristocratic Burgundy, the Clos Saint-Jacques is endowed with the silkiest of tannins and flat-out beauty from start to finish. The wine fleshes out on the palate with layers of red berries, flowers and licorice that gain volume and breadth with time in the glass. There is plenty of brightness and minerality to lend a gorgeous element of vibrancy on the close. I loved it. (AG)" (02/2012)

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2010 Peay Vineyards "La Bruma" Estate Sonoma Coast Syrah (94VN, 90WS). Vinous: "Peay's 2010 Syrah La Bruma is full of cool-climate varietal notes. A bevy of blue/black fruits, tobacco, game, licorice, violets, black pepper, orange peel, smoke and graphite are some of the notes that flow from this impeccable, harmonious Syrah. The 2010 finishes with considerable aromatic lift and finesse. Readers who like cooler-climate wines will flip over the 2010 La Bruma. It is exceptional, but also a bit eccentric so an open mind (and palate!) is required. In 2010, Peay released only one Syrah. (AG)" (07/2013)
Starting Bid: $180.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2010 Lindstrom Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon (95RP, 93WS, 90ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon is another huge, dark, imposing wine. Black olives, licorice, smoke and grilled herbs all come through nicely in this vivid Cabernet Sauvignon. The 2010 isn’t markedly different from the 2009 stylistically, suggesting it is the terroir that marks the wine to the greatest degree. There is a bit more tannin and overall structure here, though, so readers will have to be patient. Huge layers of dark fruit laced with exotic overtones of tar, incense and licorice saturate the palate on the finish. The only problem with the 2010 will be finding it, as production is down sharply from 2009. Anticipated maturity: 2018-2030. 95+ (AG)" (12/2012)
Starting Bid: $225.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2010 Il Chiosso Nebbiolo .
Starting Bid: $90.00

Bid on this bottle of 2010 Kistler "Cuvée Natalie - Silver Belt" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (94ST, 92RP). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Deep ruby. Mineral-accented red berry and cherry aromas are complemented by hints of fresh rose and anise. Focused and energetic on entry, then deeper in the middle, offering spicy redcurrant and bitter cherry flavors and showing excellent mineral spine. Finishes with impressive clarity and cut and lingering smoky mineral and floral notes. (ST)" (06/2013)
Starting Bid: $65.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2010 Forman Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Just as impressive from bottle as it was from barrel, the 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon jumps from the glass with an exotic, beguiling melange of violets, cassis, spices and menthol. Layers of fruit supported by vivid, beautifully articulated tannins cover every inch of the palate. Rich and powerful, the 2010 never abandons its classic sense of structure. Today, the 2010 is a bit compact, but time should prove to be very beneficial in releasing the wine’s true potential. There is absolutely nothing out of place in this majestic Cabernet Sauvignon. The tannins are virtually imperceptible, as is the new oak. The long growing season produced a wine that is among the finest of the vintage. This is an unforgettable wine from Ric Forman. (AG)" (12/2012)
Starting Bid: $330.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2010 Domaine Jean-Louis Chave St-Joseph (94WS, 93RP, 93ST). Wine Spectator: "Very solid, showing the dark briary grip of the vintage, carrying layers of fig, blackberry and plum fruit. An iron hint lurks in the background, while the finish gets lift from bay and roasted alder notes. (JM)" (11/2013)
Starting Bid: $185.00

Bid on this bottle of 2010 Casanova di Neri "Tenuta Nuova" Brunello di Montalcino (100JS, 100RP, 95WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This is a gorgeous wine. The 2010 Brunello di Montalcino Tenuta Nuova is just as impressive now as when I first tasted it three years ago. The only edit I would make to my original 100-point review is an extension to the drinking window. The bouquet is absolutely seamless, yet it shows pencil-point precision with dark fruit that flows into spice, tobacco and crushed mineral. The wine's aromatic intensity is forthright and compelling, as is the polished and fine nature of the mouthfeel. This is a cellar keeper. (ML)" (02/2018)
Starting Bid: $200.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2010 Joh. Jos. Prüm Graacher Himmelreich Riesling Spätlese (92W&S). Wine & Spirits: "Super sharp, steely acidity slices cleanly through this wine’s fruit, a medley that ranges from tart starfruit through yellow peach. There’s just enough sweetness to take the edge off, the flavors remaining crystal clear and vertical in their firm structure and light in feel. Long and linear, it needs time to relax, or a pork loin barded with herbs." (12/2012)
Starting Bid: $105.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2010 Fontodi "Vigna del Sorbo" Chianti Classico Riserva (98VN, 95RP, 94WE, 93JS, 92WS). Vinous: "The 2010 Chianti Classico Gran Selezione Vigna del Sorbo is magnificent, as it has always been. Rich, explosive and structured on the palate, the 2010 possesses stunning depth and nuance, along with the energy to age beautifully for the next 20+ years. The 2010 has begun to shut down in bottle, but from time to time, the magic comes through. In my opinion, the 2010 is the greatest Vigna del Sorbo ever made. Readers should be aware that the 2010 was sold in two tranches; the first bottles were labeled Chianti Classico Riserva, while the second set of bottles were sold under the new Chianti Gran Selezione designation. The wine is the same. (AG)" (09/2014)
Starting Bid: $360.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2010 Querciabella Camartina (95VN, 94RP, 94JS, 93WE). Vinous: "The 2010 Camartina is one of the most beautiful versions of this wine I have tasted in some time. Layered and vibrant on the palate, the 2010 impresses for its finesse and nuance. Freshly cut flowers, mint, dark red berries and graphite all meld together in a wine of exceptional refinement. Today, the aromas and flavors are naturally not fully expressive, but another few years should work wonders. The cool, late-ripening season yielded a Camartina of understated class and pedigree. This is a fabulous showing. (AG) 95+" (08/2013)
Starting Bid: $379.00

Bid on this bottle of 2010 Mollydooker "Velvet Glove" Shiraz McLaren Vale South Australia (97JD, 97RP, 96WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Deep purple-black in color, the 2010 Velvet Glove is scented of creme de cassis, blackberry cordial, dried plums with nuances of mocha, vanilla and chocolate. Very fine in the mouth, it has a nice, crisp acid backbone and medium levels of fine tannins to support all the big and rich fruit. It finishes long. Drink it from 2014 to 2026+. (LPB) " (02/2013)
Starting Bid: $140.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2010 Il Poggione Proprietá Franceschi Brunello di Montalcino (98RP, 95WS, 94VN, 94W&S, 93JS, 91WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Brunello di Montalcino is a striking wine that shows uncompromising varietal pureness, albeit in a most concentrated and elaborate form. This is what great Sangiovese is all about. There's so much happening on the nose and the wine brings you to cherry, spice, licorice, cured meat, pressed rose and grilled meat in equal measure. No one element overpowers the next. The mouthfeel is also tight and bright with the kind of fruit intensity that promises long cellar aging. This Brunello is only at the beginning of a long road ahead. The longer the wine stays in the glass, the more it offers in terms of complexity and intensity. This is a true standout that can be enjoyed for up to 20 years ahead. (ML)" (02/2015)

Bid on this bottle of 2010 Elvio Cogno "Vigna Elena" Barolo Riserva (97DC, 96VN, 95RP, 93JS, 93WS, 93W&S). Decanter: "This single hectare vineyard in the Ravera cru was planted in 1991, the same year Elvio Cogno's granddaughter, Elena, was born. It consists entirely of Nebbiolo Rosé, a genetically distinct but closely related grape to Nebbiolo. This is stunningly pure and precisely defined, aromas of rose, cherry blossom and lavender making way for an ethereal palate hinting at raspberries and truffles. A fine-boned, sinewy beauty that is the definition of balance and finesse. (MM)" (03/2017)

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2010 Jones Family "The Sisters" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (93RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon The Sisters offers up freshly cut flowers, sweet red berries and spices. The Sisters is an incredibly juicy, approachable wine with tons of early appeal. The acidity and vibrancy of the vintage come through, but ultimately this is one of the more open 2010s readers are likely to come across. A sleek, sensual wine, the 2010 is incredibly inviting from the very first taste. It is also a terrific value within the context of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. (AG)" (12/2012)
Starting Bid: $330.00

Bid on this bottle of 2010 Giacomo Borgogno & Figli Barolo Riserva (97WS, 94JS, 94VN, 92RP). Wine Spectator: "This red is hard to beat, though it will be better in another 10 years. Deftly balanced, this delivers cherry, berry, eucalyptus, iron and tar aromas and flavors. The well-integrated structure drives the long, complex finish. Approachable now, yet the tannins are still assertive. A classic Barolo from a great vintage. Best from 2021 through 2046. 840 cases made, 20 cases imported. (BS, Web-2019)"
Starting Bid: $104.00

Starting Bid: $37.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2010 Sine Qua Non "Five Shooter" California Grenache (98RP, 97VN, 95ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A similar blend (75% Grenache, 16% Syrah, 2.5% Mourvedre, 4.5% Roussanne and 2% Viognier) and also a brilliant bottle of wine, the 2010 Grenache Five Shooter spent 20 months in 75% used barrels, with the balance in concrete and new French oak. Seamless and elegant, with the house richness and texture, it gives up thrilling, floral-tinged aromas and flavors of red berry fruit, flower oil, spice, white pepper and licorice to go with a full-bodied, layered mouthfeel that keeps you coming back to the glass. (JD)" (08/2013)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2010 Pride Mountain "Reserve" Sonoma-Napa Counties Claret (96RP, 94ST, 92CG, 92WE, 91VN, 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Claret Reserve, 56% Merlot, 43% Cabernet Sauvignon and 1% Petit Verdot aged 22 months in 40% new French oak, boasts a stunning perfume of lead pencil shavings, charcoal, incense, blackberries, cassis and forest floor aromas. This full-bodied, concentrated, multidimensional red fills the mouth and coats the palate, but never comes across as heavy or unruly. The tannins are velvety and well-integrated in this spectacular, classic Napa red. (RP)" (10/2013)

Bid on this 2-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2010 Costanti Brunello di Montalcino (97VN, 96WE, 94WS) and 1-bottle of 2010 Costanti Brunello di Montalcino (375ml) (97VN, 96WE, 94WS). Of the 2010 Costanti Brunello di Montalcino, Vinous writes: "Costanti's 2010 Brunello di Montalcino is stunning. Dark, powerful and mysterious in the glass, the 2010 captivates all the senses with its breathtaking beauty and layered, multi-dimensional personality. Lavender, violets, savory herbs, smoke, plums and graphite flow through to the rich, explosive finish. There is a prism-like sense of transparency allied to pure power in the 2010 that is impossible miss. Readers who can find the 2010 should not hesitate; it is a must-have. While many 2010s are approachable today, the Costanti's 2010 is not; it is a wine for the cellar. (AG)" (02/2015)
