Bid on this magnum of 2010 Amuse Bouche Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (1.5L) (92RP, 92VN). Vinous: "The 2010 Amuse Bouche is a bit brighter and more focused than the 2009. Firm yet well-integrated tannins support the fruit in this nicely delineated, chiseled wine. Plums, dark cherries, mint and licorice all jump from the glass as the 2010 continues to open up. The combination of juiciness and structure is highly appealing. The long growing season produced a gorgeous, beautifully balanced wine. (AG)" (12/2012)
Starting Bid: $215.00

Bid on this bottle of 2010 Caymus Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94RP, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa is a beauty. Dense ruby/purple-colored, it is filled with creme de cassis fruit, supple tannins and an opulent, full-bodied mouthfeel. The family believes in delivering exceptional pleasure and intensity to their wines, but they also have remarkable aging potential as the 1975 and 1976 Special Selections in my cellar bear witness. (RP)" (10/2013)
Starting Bid: $94.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2010 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96ST, 95DC, 95WS). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Brooding aromas of blackberry, cassis, espresso, graphite, bitter chocolate and licorice. Plush, dense and utterly seamless, boasting lovely lift and sweetness to the black raspberry, dark chocolate and licorice flavors accented by wild herbs. Wonderfully glossy, suave Cabernet with a 3-D texture and outstanding depth; generous yet primary. Spreads out on the very long, building finish to saturate the palate with rich chocolatey tannins. For all its impressive richness, this Cabernet retains a light touch that I have not necessarily found in warmer recent vintages of Quilceda Creek's flagship wine. (ST)" (11/2013)
Starting Bid: $330.00

Bid on this bottle of 2010 Robert Mondavi "To Kalon" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon. The To-Kalon vineyard is indisputably one of the "First Growth" sites in Napa Valley. It's no surprise that Robert Mondavi chose this benchland terroir in west Oakville as the home of his new winery in 1966. This special bottling was available only by visiting the winery.
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this magnum of 2010 Cliff Lede "Poetry" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (OWC - 96RP, 94VN, 94WS) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This dark purple-colored 2010 offers up notes of blueberries, black currants, lead pencil shavings, spring flowers and high class, subtle toasty oak. Full-bodied, it comes across as the quintessential marriage of power and finesse. (RP)" (10/2013)
Starting Bid: $215.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2010 Joseph Phelps "Backus" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (96VN, 93ST, 90RP). Vinous: "Espresso, mocha, cloves, violets and plums all meld together in the 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Backus Vineyard. Rich, sumptuous and layered, the 2010 boasts tons of depth and pure structure. Much more expressive than the 2010 Insignia is today, the Backus is relatively open at this stage. At the same time, though, the underlying structure suggests the 2010 will drink well for many years. (AG)" (11/2013)
Starting Bid: $260.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2010 Buoncristiani Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Moving up to the flagship wines, the 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa is composed of 94% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Malbec and 2% Merlot (374 cases produced). This seamless, flawlessly constructed wine exhibits lots of blueberry, blackberry, cassis and spring flower characteristics as well as subtle background oak. Full-bodied, opulent and Margaux-like, only richer and denser, this sensational 2010 once again proves how impressive this vintage can be. Enjoy it over the next 15-20 years. (RP)" (10/2013)
Starting Bid: $120.00

Bid on this bottle of 2010 Abreu "Thorevilos" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (98VN, 95RP). Vinous: "David Abreu's 2010 Thorevilos stands apart from all of the other wines in this range for its massive, inky concentration. It is also the last of these wines to be released, which may explain its intense power. A host of graphite, smoke, incense, tobacco, spice and black fruit gradually open up, but the 2010 is a wine for the future. I won't touch another bottle until at least age ten, even though that is almost certainly not going to be enough time to find the wine at its peak of expression. (AG) 98+" (06/2015)
Starting Bid: $370.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2010 Opus One Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (OWC - 97VN, 96JS, 96RP, 95DC, 95ST, 95WS) in original wood. Vinous: "Bright dark ruby. Initially reticent nose opened in the glass to reveal wonderfully complex scents of black- and redcurrant, blackberry, minerals, licorice, loam and tobacco leaf, plus a whiff of leather. Seamless, savory and classy on entry if a bit subdued, then delivers lovely restrained sweetness and a complicating wildness in the middle palate that still calls for more bottle aging. Old World in its classic dryness, this highly concentrated Opus One really shines on its vibrant, slowly building back end, where the broad, dusty tannins caress and saturate the palate and allow the fruits and minerals to build. (ST) " (05/2020)

Bid on this bottle of 2010 Philip Togni "Estate" Spring Mountain District Cabernet Sauvignon (98VN, 95RP, 95ST, 93JG). Vinous: "What a thrill it is to revisit the 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate, a wine that has delivered on all the potential I sensed back when I first tasted it from barrel nearly a decade ago. Time flies. In the glass, the 2010 is dark, heady and rich, with striking aromatic nuance and tons of complexity. Unctuous dark fruit, grilled herbs, cloves and licorice build into the intense, exotic finish. It is a classic Philip Togni wine at its first plateau of maturity. In 2010 the harvest took place entirely in October. Because of the cold growing season, the crop was thinned significantly in order to allow for the fruit to ripen. Yields were down approximately 50%. (AG)" (02/2021)
Starting Bid: $110.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2010 Cliff Lede Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon (94RP, 91ST, 90DC, 90VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The elegance, finesse and purity of these wines are well evidenced by the 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Stag’s Leap. A blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc and 4% Petit Verdot, this beauty boasts a deep blue/purple color as well as a stunning nose of acacia flowers, blueberries and raspberries. Medium to full-bodied with an ethereal elegance and lightness as well as beautiful texture, finesse and harmony, it reveals the Margaux-like side of southern Napa. Drink it over the next 15-20 years. (RP)" (10/2013)
Starting Bid: $185.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2010 Saxum "Booker Vineyard" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (98JD, 98RP, 95VN, 94ST, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Syrah Booker Vineyard - a blend of 81% Syrah and 19% Mourvedre - is about as textbook a representation of a Paso Robles Syrah as I can think of. Locked and loaded with notions of ripe black and blue fruits, smoke, bouquet garni, espresso, and licorice, it is unabashedly full-bodied, rich, and yet elegant on the palate. Showing real class, as well as first-rate freshness, superb depth and concentration, and masses of tannin, this blockbuster Syrah needs a solid 3-4 years of bottle age to flesh out, and will keep for 15-20 years or more. A benchmark estate for California, Saxum, under the helm of superstar winemaker Justin Smith, continues to produce some of the most compelling, profound wines on the planet. (JD)" (07/2014)
Starting Bid: $200.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2010 Coomber Family Ranch "Private Reserve" Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon (95WE). Wine Enthusiast: "There's good structure to this Cabernet, thanks to the firm tannins and ample acidity. But the flavors take the starring role, with raspberries, cherries, currants, mocha and cedar. It has a light, delicate mouthfeel, although there's nothing light about the taste. It's complex and ageable, so give it until 2020 to begin to come around." (07/2014)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this bottle of 2010 Hall "Exzellenz" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 95WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Exzellenz Sacrashe Vineyard appears to be the deepest colored wine of this group. It reveals a pungent, penetrating, haunting bouquet of black and blue fruits as well as spring flowers. Exceptionally rich with perfect balance, a multidimensional skyscraper-like texture, but no heaviness, this is a tour de force in great winemaking. The finish lasts for nearly a minute. (RP)" (10/2013)
Starting Bid: $240.00

Bid on this bottle of 2010 Dunn Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (98JS, 98VN, 95RP, 94ST). Vinous: "There's not much to say about Randy Dunn's 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain that I haven't already said or written. A classic Howell Mountain Cabernet, the 2010 hits the palate with scents of graphite, pencil shavings, inky blue/purplish fruit, sage and spices, all backed up with swaths of broad yet impeccably balanced tannins. What a fascinating contrast it is to taste this next to David Abreu's Thorevilos as we round out the evening. The Dunn is powerful, structured and incisive, with magnificent expression of site and fabulous overall balance. Dunn’s 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain will go down as one of the great wines of this vintage. Readers have to be patient, but there is no question the 2010 is a real stunner. Knowing how hard it will be to wait, I expect the 2010 will start to open up around age ten. (AG) 98+" (06/2015)
