Bid on this bottle of 2006 Château Rayas Châteauneuf-du-Pape Reserve (94ST, 93RP, 93WS). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Medium red. Vibrant strawberry, raspberry, anise and floral aromas could fill a room. Juicy and sharply delineated, offering sweet red berry and cherry preserve flavors with compelling accents of licorice, sassafras, lavender and smoky minerals. Extremely elegant wine with outstanding finishing cut and persistence. Not many grand cru Burgundies could match this for finesse. (JR)" (01/2009)
Starting Bid: $1,275.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2006 Neyen "Espíritu de Apalta" Colchagua Valley (92RP, 92VN, 92WS). Vinous: "(a 50/50 blend of cabernet sauvignon and carmenere) Opaque ruby. Exotic scents of black raspberry, cherry, fruitcake, peppery spices and violet; smells almost syrah-like. Lush, sappy dark fruit flavors display liqueur-like depth but are light on their feet, with tangy minerality adding lift and cut. An impressively rich but suave blend with excellent finishing clarity and lingering spiciness. (JR)" (03/2010)
Starting Bid: $180.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2006 Williams Selyem "Hirsch Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (93WE, 92ST). Wine Enthusiast: "Rich in fine, pure tannins, this Pinot is delicious now, but has the structure to age. It shows ripe wild black cherry, currant, mocha, anise and spice flavors that finish with a smoky, oaky sweetness. " (03/2009)
Starting Bid: $180.00

Bid on this 3 liter of 2006 Torbreck "Les Amis" Grenache Barossa Valley (3L) (94RP, 94ST, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2006 Les Amis is 100% Grenache aged in new oak for 18 months. Purple-colored, it exhibits an enthralling nose of smoky oak, roses, garrigue, lavender, black cherry, and black raspberry. It conceals enough ripe tannin to support 5-7 years of additional cellaring. This layered, lengthy effort should be at its best from 2012 to 2024. " (02/2009)
Starting Bid: $350.00

Bid on this 12-bottle lot of 2006 Shirvington Cabernet Sauvignon McLaren Vale South Australia (92RP, 91JS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon was 100% barrel-fermented and aged for 12 months in 75% new oak, 80% American, 20% French. Opaque purple-colored, it exhibits a fragrant, expressive perfume of toasty oak, vanilla, spice box, black currant, and blackberry liqueur. This is followed by a racy Cabernet, slightly lean, with intense black fruit flavors, good depth and concentration, and enough structure to support 8-10 years of development in the cellar. (JM)" (10/2007)
Starting Bid: $360.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2006 Switchback Ridge "Peterson Family Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (93JS, 93WS, 92RP, 92VN). James Suckling: "Loads of blackberries, blueberries, and dried currants on the nose, with a hint of new wood. Full bodied, with firm and chewy tannins. Very tight right now, but what an impressive depth of fruit. Give it time to open. " (02/2011)
Starting Bid: $200.00

Bid on this magnum of 2006 Cobb "Coastlands Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (1.5L) (91ST). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Dark red. Vibrant red berry and cherry aromas are sharply focused and pure. Deep and sappy, with sweet raspberry and cherry flavors, silky texture and mounting spiciness. Compellingly pure pinot with excellent finishing lift, cut and length. (ST)" (05/2008)
Starting Bid: $80.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2006 Groth Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (93W&S, 90WE). Wine & Spirits: "Packed with red and black currant flavors, this wine has the cool, refreshing feel of the forest. Tannins frame the berry fruit, providing contrast in umami flavors of wood-ear mushrooms, both tannins and fruit lasting in a finely structured, luxurious finish. " (12/2009)
Starting Bid: $180.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2006 Williams Selyem "Westside Road Neighbors" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir (93CG, 93ST, 90RP). Connoisseurs Guide: "A perennial favorite in these pages, this Pinot hails from the very heart of what many, including ourselves, view as one of the top two or three Pinot patches outside of the very best in Burgundy. It starts with exceptionally concentrated fruit redolent of sweet red cherries kissed with notes of vanilla, honey, toast and clove-like spices and continues with a delight-fully supple entry texture and a firming backbone of evident but not intrusive tannins. **Two Stars**" (06/2008)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this magnum of 2006 Billecart-Salmon "Cuvée Nicolas François Billecart" Brut Champagne (1.5L) (97VN, 96DC, 96JS, 95RP, 95WE, 94WS). Vinous: "The 2006 Cuvée Nicolas François Billecart is shaping up to be a jewel of a wine, but it needs time to be at its best. I am surprised by how tightly wound it is. But that only makes me think what it might develop into with time in the cellar. Lemon confit, white flowers, mint, crushed rocks and sage meld together in a bright, crystalline Champagne endowed with terrific purity. The 2006 is 60% Pinot Noir from the Montagne de Reims and the Vallée de la Marne and 40% Chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs, mostly done in steel, with just a touch of oak, around 5%. (AG)" (11/2020)

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2006 Elio Altare Barolo (92WS, 90JS, 90RP). Wine Spectator: "Ripe, featuring plum and black cherry flavors, laced with spice and tobacco. This is kept honest by the upright tannins and lively acidity. There is power, but also grace. Fine length. Best from 2013 through 2025. (BS)" (02/2011)
Starting Bid: $250.00

Bid on this 2-magnum lot of 2006 Ken Wright Shea Vineyard Willamette Valley Pinot Noir (1.5L).
Starting Bid: $180.00

Bid on this bottle of 2006 Flora Springs "Trilogy" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (90RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The outstanding 2006 Trilogy (73% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, and the rest Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot) is a large production cuvee of 6, 500 cases. Revealing lots of roasted herb, cedar, black currant, and sweet cherry notes, an endearing, medium to full-bodied texture, exceptional elegance, purity, and length, stunning balance, and ripe tannins (no easy task in a vintage such as 2006), it should drink well for 10-15 years. One of the most impressive portfolios from Flora Springs that I have tasted has emerged from their extensive vineyard holdings. Flora Springs’ single vineyard offerings are all 100% Cabernet Sauvignon with somewhat limited availability production ranges from 370-400 cases of each." (12/2009)
Starting Bid: $32.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2006 Moraga "Estate" Los Angeles County Bordeaux Blend in original wood.
Starting Bid: $240.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2006 Buccella Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95JS, 95RP, 93WS, 91ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon, a candidate for Cabernet of the vintage, reveals a gorgeous perfume of chocolate, black raspberries, flowers, ink, and graphite, followed by a full-bodied, textured, superbly concentrated wine with terrific purity as well as density. (RP)" (12/2009)
Starting Bid: $330.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2006 Scarecrow Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 99JS, 94RP, 94ST, 92WS) in original wood. James Suckling: "Minerals, mint, and berries in the nose. Full, powerful, polished, with wonderfully dense tannins. The finish is long, long, long. This is amazing, I love the freshness and length. Very classy and elegant, wonderful stuff. I am wowed. Great length, it's muscular with wonderful definition." (04/2011)
Starting Bid: $2,240.00

Bid on this bottle of 2006 Bartolo Mascarello Barolo (97VN, 96ST, 95WE, 94WS). Vinous: "The 2006 Barolo is one of my all time favorite Bartolo Mascarello wines. It won’t be ready to drink anytime soon. Beams of tannin give the 2006 its imposing, vertical personality. The 2006 is a Barolo for classically-leaning palates and readers who have the time to be patient. Even so, the 2006 is a utterly majestic tonight. (AG) 97+" (07/2016)
Starting Bid: $275.00

Bid on this 2-magnum lot of 2006 Cobb Coastlands Vineyard - Diane Cobb Block Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (1.5L) (93ST). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: Vivid red. Sexy aromas of strawberry, raspberry and fresh rose. At once lively and concentrated, with terrific sweetness leavened by zesty minerality. Racy, sharply focused and pure, with deep red berry preserve flavors, silky texture and superb tangy lift. The impressively long finish features a strong echo of strawberry. (ST) (05/2008)
Starting Bid: $200.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2006 Hall Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Hall may share a large expanse of the Napa Valley terroir, but you wouldn't know it from the attention to detail dedicated to every label from this organic estate. From the single vineyard wines to the regional blends, only the best fruit is selected and no expense is spared on quality. Winemaker notes for the 2006 Hall Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon: "Our 2006 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is an orchestral melange of hand-selected fruit from our Hardester, Napa River Ranch, Bergfeld and Sacrashe vineyards. Each distinctive terroir interweaves complementary components which culminate in a preeminent Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, a gestalt of balanced, rich, concentrated character." Ranked #18 in Wine Spectator Top 100 of 2010.
Starting Bid: $220.00

Bid on this bottle of 2006 Domaine Marc Sorrel "Le Gréal" Hermitage (95RP, 94ST, 92WS). 95 points Robert Parker: "The stunning, deep ruby/purple-hued 2006 Hermitage Le Greal (4, 500 bottles produced) exhibits aromas of smoked duck, gamy animal, new saddle leather, creme de cassis, scorched earth, and truffles. This thick, rich, full-bodied, magnificent Hermitage achieved 15.5% natural alcohol. It will last for 20-25+ years." (04/09) 94 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar, Jan/Feb 09: "Glass-staining ruby. Hypnotic, explosive bouquet of black and blue fruits, cola, anise, violet and minerals. Weighty but almost shockingly lithe, with precise mulberry and boysenberry flavors and strong mineral and candied floral character. Becomes even sweeter on the finish, leaving strong floral and blue fruit notes in its wake."
Starting Bid: $97.88

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2006 Pahlmeyer Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (94RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "There are 1, 600 cases of the 2006 Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast, a 100% destemmed cuvee made from Dijon clones 667, 828, and 777. It reveals classic Cote de Nuits aromas of damp forest floor, black raspberries, cherries, and spring flowers. With terrific fruit, full body, ripe tannin, and a round, generous, savory mouthfeel already displaying tremendous complexity, it should drink well for 7-8 years. Almost half of the fruit comes from Pahlmeyer's own 24-acre Pinot Noir parcel at his Sonoma Coast vineyard called Wayfarer. Things just seem to get better and better at Pahlmeyer, a long-standing, brilliant, remarkably consistent source for one of Napa's finest Merlots, Chardonnays, and Pinot Noirs. (RP)" (12/2008)
Starting Bid: $245.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2006 Cos d'Estournel, St-Estèphe (95WE, 94RP, 93DC, 93ST, 92JS, 92WS, 91VN). Wine Enthusiast: "Cos d'Estournel has softened those austere Saint-Estèphe tannins and produced a wine that is all opulence and roundness. The tannins are certainly there, but they come through as big, bold richness. The power suggests it will age well, but for drinking earlier, the freshness of the sweet homemade plum jam promises well. (RV)" (03/2009)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2006 Hourglass Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95RP, 92JS, 92WS, 90ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon Hourglass has a dense purple color and a sweet nose of licorice, black currants, smoke, cedar, and some high-class subtle oak in the background. The wine is full-bodied, avoids some of the harder tannins that sometimes arise in this vintage, and has a very layered, multi-dimensional mouthfeel and finish. This is a beauty that can be drunk now or cellared for 20 or more years. The well-known Bob Foley has been the consistent force behind these high quality wines from Hourglass. Their top wine comes from a gently sloping vineyard near Napa’s Lodi Lane. (RP)" (12/2008)
Starting Bid: $210.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2006 Domaine Louis Jadot Clos Vougeot Grand Cru ((91-93BH), 93RP, 93WE, 92ST, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The Jadot 2006 Clos Vougeot – one lot of which was parked in tank for nearly six months while waiting for the other to finally undergo malo – exhibits an unusually dark color for its collection; offers a polished, rich, velvet-textured melange of lightly-cooked black fruits underlain by roasted red meats; and finishes sedately but with memorable savor and length. Lardiere's fears that the wine might end up disjointed have thus proven unfounded, and I suspect that this classic example of top-notch Clos Vougeot will be worth following over the next decade. And since there are a thousand cases of it, quite a few wine lovers can share that experience. (DS)" (12/2009)
Starting Bid: $180.00

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2006 Joh. Jos. Prüm Graacher Himmelreich Riesling Auslese Mosel (95WS, 94W&S, (92-93RP), 92ST, 92WE). Wine Spectator: "Seamless from start to finish. Aromas of rose, slate and smoke segue into lime and peach flavors in this elegant, stately white. Crisp and transparent, with precise balance and a classic Mosel profile. Has a long, mouthwatering finish. *Highly Recommended* (BS)" (04/2008)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2006 Hundred Acre "Kayli Morgan Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (99RP, 95WS, 93VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Deep garnet in color, the 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon Kayli Morgan Vineyard jumps out of the glass with red and black cherry preserves, warm cassis and blackberry tart with hints of lilacs, rose hip tea and lamb dripping with rosemary and baking spices. Full-bodied, concentrated and wonderfully layered, it has a rock-solid frame of grainy tannins and great freshness, finishing long and mineral laced. (LPB)" (12/2018)
Starting Bid: $1,550.00

Bid on this magnum of 2006 Sea Smoke "Southing" Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir (1.5L) (94WE, 92ST, 90WS). Wine Enthusiast: "Yes, even for a California Pinot, this is a big, strong, full-bodied wine. Southing always is. It could almost morph into a Cabernet Sauvignon. But who cares? It’s compellingly delicious, and isn’t that what wine is all about? Flavorwise, it tastes of cherries, oranges, red currants, violets, raspberries, cedar and peppery spices, with 65% new oak." (12/2008)
Starting Bid: $140.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2006 Domaine Drouhin-Laroze Bonnes-Mares Grand Cru ((91-94BH), 92WS). Allen Meadows - Burghound: "This is also strongly reduced. The tautly muscled and imposingly sized flavors are very tight and backwards and it's clear that this is going to be a long distance runner as the finish is austere, strict and very serious. There is however excellent underlying material and impeccable balance but again, this is a 'buy and forget' wine." (01/2010)
Starting Bid: $245.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2006 Mastroberardino "Radici" Taurasi Riserva (95WE, 94WS). Wine Enthusiast: "This is a gorgeous, compelling wine of power and finesse. It has a captivating fragrance of earth, leather, black fruit and incense accented with whiffs of exotic spice. The palate is rich but refined, delivering ripe black cherry, blue berry, tobacco and baking spices along with enveloping, velvety tannins. *Editors' Choice* (KO)" (12/2013)
Starting Bid: $120.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2006 Kapcsándy "Estate Cuvée - State Lane Vineyard" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (93RP, 91ST, 90JS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2006 Estate Cuvee State Lane Vineyard (a blend of 48% Cabernet Sauvignon, 48% Merlot, and 4% Cabernet Franc) possesses a dark plum/purple color as well as notes of roasted coffee, cocoa, chocolate, black currants, sweet cherries, and subtle oak. Medium to full-bodied, elegant, layered, intense, pure, and long, it is approachable now, but promises to drink well for two decades or more. (RP) 93+" (12/2009)
Starting Bid: $280.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2006 Araujo "Eisele Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96JS, 95ST, 92RP). James Suckling: "A complex nose of smoke, grilled meats, dark fruits, asphalt, and lead pencil. Full bodied, with super fine tannins, fresh acidity and a long complex and fruity finish. This is all about complexity and finesse. " (02/2011)
Starting Bid: $585.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2006 Luciano Sandrone "Cannubi Boschis" Barolo (98VN, 96ST, 95WS, 91JS). Vinous: "The 2006 Barolo Cannubi Boschis is a wine of pedigree, nuance and stylishness. Fresh and vibrant in the glass, the 2016 is developing beautifully in bottle. Sweet floral notes add lift to the dark Cannubi Boschis fruit. Sandrone's Cannubi Boschis has never been this finessed, this elegant. This is the best bottle of the 2006 I have tasted. What a head-turner it is! (AG)" (02/2020)
Starting Bid: $170.00

Bid on this bottle of 2006 M. Chapoutier "De L'Orée" Ermitage Blanc (99RP, 97WS, 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "More tight and reserved than the open-knit Le Meal Blanc, the 2006 Ermitage Cuvee de l’Oree offers a heavenly bouquet of caramelized orchard fruits, celery seed, buttered hazelnuts, orange blossom and white flowers. Just crazy good on the palate, with full-bodied richness and a seamless, unctuous texture, it has incredible purity, precision and length, with this liquid rock-like minerality on the finish. It's just about as good as it gets, and while it's drinking great today, it should keep for 2-3 decades. (JD)" (02/2017)
Starting Bid: $130.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2006 Dominus Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (96JS, 96RP, 93W&S, 93WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "There are 6, 500 cases of the superb 2006 Dominus (91% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Cabernet Franc, and 3% Petit Verdot). Its dark plum/purple color is accompanied by aromas and flavors of truffles, forest floor, black cherries, black currants, and Asian spices. One of the finest wines of the vintage, it is complete, full-bodied, and seamlessly built with beautiful ripe tannins, low acidity, and a luscious, layered mouthfeel. The aromatics are even more evolved and complex than the 2005's. (RP)" (12/2008)
Starting Bid: $536.00

Bid on this bottle of 2006 Domaine de Trévallon Vin de Pays des Bouches du Rhône. Towering above the picturesque villages of Saint Rémy-de-Provence and Les Baux-de-Provence, the wind-swept Alpilles mountains, with their carved, tooth-like peaks, form a solid barrier between the Camargue to the south and Avignon to the north. Domaine de Trévallon, is by far the most famous and is the standard bearer for the region. There is no person that has done more to elevate the quality and prestige of the wines around Les Baux than Eloi Dürrbach who began planting vines at the base of this mountain, in the three "valleys" (from whence the estate gets its name) in 1973. He chose to plant Syrah, because of the northern exposure of his vineyards and Cabernet Sauvignon due to the high level of chalk in the soil. The 50/50 blend has turned out to be the perfect balance between the wild qualities the Mediterranean basin and the structure of a more northern climate.
Starting Bid: $52.00
