Bid on this bottle of 1992 Joseph Phelps "Insignia" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (95RP, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "An attractive dark plum/purple color is followed by sweet aromas of creme de cassis, spring flowers and a touch of background oak. This opulent, full-bodied, sexy, full-throttle Insignia is drinking beautifully. As the wine sits in the glass, mature aromas of black tea and charcuterie begin to emerge...This wine, which achieved 13.5% alcohol, has still not reached full maturity. It is one of those magical Napa wines that has been drinkable since its release and has never closed down. (RP)"
Starting Bid: $180.00

Bid on this bottle of 2014 Schrader "Beckstoffer Las Piedras - LPV" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (99RP, 97JS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon LPV is from clone 337 from the Las Piedras Vineyard in St. Helena. This shows Mission Haut-Brion-like characteristics as it has in the past, with crushed rock, wet gravel, scorched earth, blackberry and blueberry fruit. It is clearly one of my favorites of this entire tasting. It has 14.5% natural alcohol and was aged in 90% new Darnajou and 10% new Taransaud barrels. This is a killer effort. (RP)" (10/2016)
Starting Bid: $195.00

Bid on this bottle of 1996 Dunn Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 93ST, 93VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1996 Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain possesses a black/blue/purple color, and a texture of unctuosity and thickness. Greatness is suggested by a wonderfully sweet mid-section, gorgeous purity, and this humongous wine's overall symmetry. It also possesses sumptuous layers of concentration, remarkably sweet tannin, low acidity, and a 40+ second finish. (RP)" (01/2000)
Starting Bid: $130.00

Bid on this bottle of 2016 Schrader "Beckstoffer Las Piedras - LPV" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 98DC, 98JD). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard Lpv is very deeppurple-black in color with an incredibly perfumed nose of potpourri, lavender and red roses with hints of oolong tea, cigar boxes and fragrant earth over a black cherry, blackberry and warm plums core. Full-bodied, firm and with wonderfully ripe, grainy tannins, it delivers mouth-filling black fruits and an epically long, wonderfully fragrant finish. (LPB)" (10/2018)
Starting Bid: $240.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Quintessa Rutherford Bordeaux Blend (98JS, 97RP, 96JD). James Suckling: "Phenomenal aromas of crushed berries, forest fruit, mushrooms and iron. Medium to full body, with layers of soft and refined tannins that follow through to a beautiful finish. Extremely long and refined. This shows depth and structure with balance and harmony. Hard not to open the bottle now and drink it, but it appears to be closing down now. " (02/2019)
Starting Bid: $345.00

Bid on this bottle of 1988 Joseph Phelps "Insignia" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend . Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1988 still exhibits a dark ruby/garnet color, and is medium to full-bodied although slightly monolithic by the standards of the finest Insignia vintages. It possesses notes of roasted herbs, lavender, red and black currants as well as hints of wood spice and smoke. Although not a great wine, it is better than I recall, and appears to have reached full maturity. It should last for another decade. (RP)" (11/2013)
Starting Bid: $105.00

Bid on this bottle of 2013 Continuum Oakville Bordeaux Blend (99JS, 98RP, 98VN). James Suckling: "Impressive purity of fruit and definition with black currant, oyster shell, blueberries and slate. Graphite too. Very complex yet subtle. Full-bodied, very chewy and powerful yet polished and gorgeous. Muscular, well-formed tannins. Electric style. Best ever from here." (01/2016)
Starting Bid: $190.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2005 Continuum Oakville Bordeaux Blend (96RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2005 Proprietary Red is mainly sourced from the To Kalon vineyard and is composed of 58% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Cabernet Franc and 19% Petit Verdot. Deep garnet-brick in color, it features a wonderfully spicy nose of fenugreek, cumin seed and cloves over a core of blackberry and plum preserves, tobacco and dusty soil with a hint of dried rosemary on roasted lamb. The palate is full-bodied, rich and seductive with plush tannins and wonderfully exotic spices on the long finish. (LPB)" (02/2019)
Starting Bid: $310.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2005 Rubicon Estate "Rubicon" Rutherford Bordeaux Blend (96WE, 95CG, 95RP, 93WS). Wine Enthusiast: "Made from 98% Cabernet Sauvignon, with no Merlot or Cabernet Franc for the first time, the ’05 Rubicon tastes bigger and more impenetrable than any previous vintage. It’s thick and heavy at this time, with furry tannins and undeniably ripe flavors of blackberries, black currants, cherries, violets, chocolate and cedar, and a tang of melted minerals. Desperately needs time in the cellar. Nowhere near ready for at least four years, and that may be conservative.Tasted three times, and better each time, a seriously good sign, and potentially a perfect wine. *Cellar Selection*" (06/2009)
Starting Bid: $200.00

Bid on this bottle of 1986 Joseph Phelps "Insignia" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (94RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This surprisingly rich, dark garnet-colored Insignia displays notes of cedarwood, tobacco leaf, black currants, graphite and damp earth. Medium to full-bodied with remarkable density, richness and vigor for its age, one would think that with this much Merlot in the blend it would be near the end of its life, but that's not the case. (RP)" (11/2013)
Starting Bid: $180.00

Bid on this bottle of 1997 Bryant Family Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 96VN, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "I have consumed several bottles of the 1997 Cabernet Sauvignon Pritchard Hill. One of the most awesome young reds I have ever tasted, it possesses a black/purple color, a seamless texture, and freakishly high levels of intensity (cassis, black and blueberries infused with espresso, chocolate, and licorice) that are flawlessly presented in a full-bodied, massive yet elegant wine. Nothing is out of balance in this explosively rich, thick, highly-extracted Cabernet. A compelling, historic Cabernet Sauvignon, it will drink well for 30-35 years. (RP)" (12/2000)
Starting Bid: $615.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Ovid Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (95VN, 94RP, 93WS). Vinous: "The 2012 Ovid belongs to a group of vintages that includes 2007 and 2009 where the main characteristic is bold, racy fruit. A host of red cherry, pomegranate, smoke, licorice and tobacco wrap around the palate. Juicy, racy and flamboyant to the core, the 2012 needs a few years to lose some baby fat and develop aromatic complexity, but it is impressive. The 2012 is distinctly red-toned and floral in character, as so many wines are in this vintage. (AG)" (02/2017)
Starting Bid: $502.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2016 Robert Mondavi "To Kalon Vineyard Reserve" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (96JD, 96RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A blend of 91% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot, the deep garnet-purple colored 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon To Kalon Reserve opens with beautifully fragrant kirsch, wilted roses, candied violets and dried Provence herbs notes over a core of wild blueberries, red and black currants and mulberries plus wafts of tobacco leaf and cardamom. Medium to full-bodied, it fills the palate with perfumed, crunchy black fruits framed by firm, ripe, grainy tannins and finishes long and earthy. (LPB) 96+" (10/2018)
Starting Bid: $620.00

Bid on this bottle 2003 Joseph Phelps "Insignia" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (96WE, 93RP, 92VN). Wine Enthusiast: "One of the first, if not the first, of the proprietarily named Napa Bordeaux blends, Phelps Insignia has been one of California’s greatest Cabs for decades. This is their 30th anniversary bottling, and it’s worthy of the tradition. Ultrarich and smooth, with a mouthfeel that’s pure velvet, it’s fairly thick in tannins now, suggesting cellaring. But it’s huge in blackberry, dark unsweetened chocolate and spicy plum fruit, and will easily hold for a very long time. *Top 100 of 2007, Cellar Selection* " (03/2007)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this bottle of 1989 Joseph Phelps "Insignia" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (91RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1989 reveals sweet Christmas fruitcake, black currant, licorice, damp earth and forest floor notes in its well-built, medium-bodied, elegant personality. With excellent color as well as fruit concentration, this is another vintage that has aged better than I would have expected. It should keep for 5-10 more years. (RP)" (11/2013)
Starting Bid: $226.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2014 Spottswoode "Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, 98WE, 97DC, 96JS, 96VN, 95JD). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon has a drop-dead gorgeous nose of Sichuan pepper, hoisin, peppered salami and fertile loam over a core of blackberry preserves and redcurrant jelly with touches of kirsch and pencil shavings. Medium to full-bodied and concentrated yet still maintaining that wonderful purity and elegance that is the signature of this estate, it has layer upon layer of earthy nuances and a very long finish. (LPB) 98+" (10/2018)

Bid on this bottle of 2016 Realm "Farella Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98JS, 97RP, 97WE, 96JD, 95VN). James Suckling: "Intense aromas of licorice, blackberries and tar follow through to a full body, firm and silky tannins and a flavorful finish. Turns spicy, including red pepper and cayenne." (10/2018)

Bid on this 2-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 1999 Grgich Hills Napa Cabernet Sauvignon (92WE) and 1-bottle of 2010 Grgich Hills "Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (91WE, 91WS). Of the 1999 Grgich Hills Napa Cabernet Sauvignon, Wine Enthusiast writes: "This dramatic and flamboyant wine is as big as they get, but never loses focus. Gigantic in its black currant flavors and well oaked, yet there's a core in the tannins and acids that keeps this monster on a short leash. Will age for the long haul. " (05/2003)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2009 Dominus Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (98JD, 98JS, 97RP, 97VN, 94ST). James Suckling: "Stunning nose of lavender and flowers. Currants and raspberries. Subtle and intriguing. Full and dense but wonderfully balanced with firm and silky tannins and a persistent finish. Dusty texture. A wine so balanced that you want to drink it already." (10/2012)
Starting Bid: $525.00

Bid on this bottle of 2018 Bevan "Dr. Crane Vineyard" St. Helena Cabernet Sauvignon (100JD, 100RP, 96VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard was aged for 19 months in French oak barrels, 100% new. Deep garnet-purple colored, it sashays out of the glass with flamboyant scents of redcurrant jelly, Black Forest cake, blackcurrant pastilles and rose oil with suggestions of cast-iron pan, pencil lead and tilled soil plus a waft of fragrant earth. Full-bodied, rich and concentrated with firm, exquisitely ripe, fine-grained tannins and seamless freshness, it delivers an incredible mineral and perfumed red fruit firework display finish. Fans of Dr. Crane are going to LOVE this expression, masterfully crafted by Russell Bevan—an absolute must-try! (LPB) " (02/2021)
Starting Bid: $300.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2008 Buccella Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 95RP, 94WS, 93ST, 92JS) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon, which comes from multiple fruit sources in Rutherford, Oakville, Yountville, Coombsville, Oak Knoll and Carneros, was aged in 100% new French oak. A blend of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, it exhibits an opaque purple color, great intensity and a sweet nose of blue and black fruits intermixed with toasty oak, lead pencil shavings and forest floor. Rich, layered and full-bodied with silky tannins, this broad, savory 2008 should drink well for 15 or more years. (RP)" (12/2010)
Starting Bid: $330.00

Bid on this 4-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 1996 Schweiger Spring Mountain District Cabernet Sauvignon and 3-bottles of 1997 Schweiger Spring Mountain District Cabernet Sauvignon (93WS). Of the 1997 Schweiger Spring Mountain District Cabernet Sauvignon, Wine Spectator writes: "An immense wine, dark, rich, earthy and leathery, with lots of complexity on a firmly tannic structure. Hints of leathery oak and chocolate permeate the core, but then the tannins shut down tightly. Patience required. " (11/2000)
Starting Bid: $120.00

Bid on this bottle of 2000 Dalla Valle "Maya" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (95VN, 94JD). Vinous: "A seamless, layered wine, the 2000 Maya is all about texture. Silky and polished to the core, the 2000 is open and totally seductive today. All of the Maya signatures are in place in wine that emphasizes finesse over sheer size. (AG)" (06/2014)
Starting Bid: $200.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Realm "The Absurd" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (100JD, 100RP, 97JS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A blend of 83% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Franc and the rest Petit Verdot, is the 2014 The Absurd, basically a choice of their finest barrels, or as winemaker and owner Benoit Touquette says, 'The crème de la crème.' This is another perfect wine equaling their incredible 2013. Yet the 2014 is slightly more forward and showy, as many 2013s are just beginning to shut down. There are 250 cases of this majestic wine that has an opaque purple color, extraordinary nose of spring flowers, blueberry, blackberry, creosote, charcoal, toast and spice. The wine has unbelievable fruit on the attack, midpalate and finish, compelling purity, texture and a finish of close to a full minute. It is (as advertised by the winery) a 'showcase of the best of Napa Valley with the freedom of expression that results from no rules.' (RP)" (12/2016)
Starting Bid: $900.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2010 Alpha Omega "Era" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (OWC - 95CG, 93ST, 93WE, 92WS) in original wood. Connoisseurs Guide: "Era is intended to be an expression of the very best that Alpha Omega has to offer, and this bottling shows reason enough to agree. It is wonderfully concentrated and extraordinarily deep in incisive blackcurrant fruit with a myriad of carefully fit pieces, and, while very much built along the sturdily tannic, eminently age-worthy lines so favored by Alpha Omega, it shows slightly more polish to its structured style even at this age. It is sure to reward those willing to patiently wait for a decade with a wine of genuine and stunning brilliance. *Three Stars*" (04/2013)
Starting Bid: $330.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2010 Caymus Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94RP, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa is a beauty. Dense ruby/purple-colored, it is filled with creme de cassis fruit, supple tannins and an opulent, full-bodied mouthfeel. The family believes in delivering exceptional pleasure and intensity to their wines, but they also have remarkable aging potential as the 1975 and 1976 Special Selections in my cellar bear witness. (RP)" (10/2013)
Starting Bid: $345.00

Bid on this bottle of 2009 Lewis Cellars "Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94WS). Wine Spectator: "A wine of great density, focus and concentration, with tiers of ripe blackberry, wild berry, mocha, espresso and black licorice flavors, ending with a tight, firm, fine-grained tannic backbone. (JL)" (10/2012)
Starting Bid: $90.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2003 Scarecrow Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 98RP) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This inky purple-colored wine has an extraordinary nose of sweet black cherry jam intermixed with licorice, spice box, and cedar. It has sensational richness, but the purity, elegance, and overall nuance of this wine are what set it apart and give it a very distinctive character all its own. This is a fabulous Cabernet Sauvignon and another terrific 2003 that can be drunk now or cellared for 15-20 or more years. (RP)" (12/2006)
Starting Bid: $1,200.00

Bid on this bottle of 1997 Joseph Phelps "Insignia" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (100RP, 97WS, 95WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "An inky/plum/purple color is accompanied by a stunning bouquet of violets, charcoal, creme de cassis and a hint of toast. Prodigious when it hits the palate with a full-bodied expansiveness, there is not a hard edge to be found in the 1997, only velvety tannins, compelling depth and fruit intensity, and stunning purity. It is a perfect expression of Napa viticulture and wine that should continue to age effortlessly for two decades or more. (RP)" (11/2013)
Starting Bid: $310.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2005 Bond "Melbury" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (95RP, 95VN, 95WE, 92JS). Vinous: "A very pleasant surprise, the 2005 Melbury is also the first wine in this tasting that shows the onset of aromatic notes that are leading into the tertiary realm. Even so, the 2005 possesses superb depth and terrific resonance in all of its dimensions. I expect the 2005 will drink well for another 10-15 years given its palate weight. (AG)" (11/2017)
Starting Bid: $440.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Spottswoode "Family Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100JD, 99RP, 98JS, 98VN, 98WE, 97DC). Jeb Dunnuck: "One of the most classic examples of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon I could image is the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon from Spottswoode and this blend of 88% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Cabernet Franc and 4% Petit Verdot is a truly heavenly, classic wine built for the ages. Offering beautiful notes of black and blue fruits, graphite, exotic spices, violets and spring flowers, with a touch of earthy, damp river rock-like minerality, it hits the palate with full-bodied richness, stunning purity of fruit, perfect balance, building tannin, and a great, great finish. Delicious already." (02/2019)

Bid on this bottle of 2016 Schrader "Beckstoffer To Kalon - CCS" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 100JD, 99JS, 98RP) in original wood. Jeb Dunnuck: "The most structured and backward in the lineup, yet with incredible potential, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon CCS Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard is a monumental bottle of wine that ticked all my boxes. Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon aged 20 months in 100% new Darnajou barrels, it reveals a deep purple color as well as a myriad of blueberry and cassis fruits, candied violets, spice box, and licorice, with just a hint of background oak and a lead pencil note." (01/2019)
Starting Bid: $245.00

Bid on this bottle of 2007 Spottswoode "Family Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 94DC, 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Deep garnet colored with a lingering hint of purple, the 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon comes sashaying out of the glass with provocative notions of warm cassis, blueberry compote, blackberry pie and violets with chocolate box, licorice and menthol nuances plus wafts of wilted roses, lavender and kirsch. This is aged in 100% new Darnajou and is one of the larger cuvées at 510 cases. Wonderfully sweet, velvety tannins, a big sweet nose of white flowers, blackberry and cassis along with cedar wood, charcoal and graphite are all present in this full-bodied opulent wine that also retains wonderful elegance. It finished at 14.6% alcohol and will drink beautifully now as well as over the next 15-20 years. (RP)" (10/2016)

Of the 2013 Schrader "Beckstoffer To Kalon - CCS" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "There is something ethereal about the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon CCS, a wine that I tend to give more perfect scores to than of the other Schrader offerings. Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Dominus Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (99JD, 98JS, 98RP, 98VN, 95WE). Jeb Dunnuck: "Checking in as a blend of 93% Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc that hit 14.3% alcohol, the 2012 Dominus is a sensational wine that certainly ranks with the all-time greats of this cuvée and is reminiscent of the 1991. Ripe, flamboyant, and incredibly sexy, it nevertheless shows the classic style of this estate, has nothing out of place and just glides across the palate. Blackcurrants, tobacco leaf, cedar box, new leather, and an almost garrigue-like character all emerge from this full-bodied, silky, seamless effort that has fine tannin, perfectly integrated acidity, tannins, alcohol, and a great, great finish. Drink it any time over the coming 2-3 decades. It's a tour de force in Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and one of the greats. 99+" (01/2019)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2003 Robert Mondavi "Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95CG, 93RP, 93VN, 92WE, 91WS). Connoisseurs Guide: "Its deep and beautifully defined aromas of dense, curranty fruit, dusty earth and generous oak signal that something good is to come here, and the broad but classically composed and keenly fruited flavors that follow confirm every hope. Already showing an uncanny impression of layering and range, this outstanding wine is at once supple in feel yet buttressed by lots of very fine-grained tannins, and, although its essential beauty is not in the least compromised by coarseness, it is a bit tough at the finish as young Cabernet can be." Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2015 Myriad "Elysian - Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard" Reserve Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98JD, 96RP, 94VN, 94WS, 92JS). Jeb Dunnuck: "The flagship is the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard Elysian and it's a barrel selection made by Mike chosen with the goal of the most seamless expression of the vineyard. It offers insane notes of crème de cassis, licorice, blackberries, violets and hints of toasty oak. Full-bodied, beautifully balanced, ultra-fine and pure, with terrific tannin, it's another great, great wine from Mike that's going to evolve for 25+ years." (12/2017)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Turley "Estate" Napa Valley Zinfandel (96RP, 94VN, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "From their home property, the 2014 Zinfandel Turley Estate (15.6% alcohol) is another gorgeously delicious, full-bodied Zinfandel with a dense ruby/purple color, loads of blueberry, black raspberry and black cherry fruit, a lavish, opulent mouthfeel, and terrific purity and density. This is another stunner and one of the great 2014s Larry Turley and his staff have produced. Drink it over the next decade. (RP)" (04/2016)

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2010 Merryvale Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon ((90-92VN), 91WE). Vinous: "Merryvale's 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon is quite a bit fresher and more vibrant than the 2009. The tannins are a bit firmer and the wine has a greater sense of overall structure. Cinnamon, plums, black cherries, mint and mocha are some of the many nuances that flesh out on the vibrant, delineated finish. There is a lot to like in this promising, delicious Cabernet Sauvignon. The 2010 is 89% Cabernet Sauvignon and 11% Petit Verdot. (AG)" (12/2012)
