Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2016 To Kalon Vineyard Co. "Highest Beauty" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (99JS, 97JD, 97WS). James Suckling: "This pure cabernet sauvignon is the real deal with redcurrant and terracotta character on both the nose and palate. It’s full-bodied, yet really reserved and ultra-refined. The quality of the tannins is super with such fine grain, yet it continues on for minutes. This is the first release and it shows beautiful classicism. Shows the essence of the place. Needs four or five years to come around. Try after 2023." (12/2020)
Starting Bid: $360.00

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Schrader "Beckstoffer To Kalon - RBS" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, 96VN, 94JS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This wine seems slightly more expansive, shares the black ruby/purple color with all of it siblings, and has a boatload of crème de cassis, incense, licorice, graphite and vanilla along with plenty of spice box and forest floor. This is a killer, full-bodied, super-duper, opulent Cabernet Sauvignon to drink over the next 20 years. (RP)" (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $195.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Caymus "40th Anniversary" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "They appear to be immune to some of winedom’s less than intelligent trends and fads that we see from time to time, and the result is a spectacular 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon 40th Anniversary offering. Its dense purple/black color is followed by copious quantities of crème de cassis and blackberry fruit, silky tannins, a voluptuous texture and stunning purity as well as length. This full-bodied effort is a fabulous example of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon as well as a tribute to this amazing family. Amazing! (RP)" (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $310.00

Bid on this bottle of 2010 Paul Hobbs "Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95JS, 95RP, 94ST, 93WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "From one of the great sites in Oakville, the 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard bristles on the palate with considerable energy and focus. Freshly cut flowers, red berries and crushed rocks all come to life in the glass. In 2010 Las Piedras stands out for its bright, intense salinity, which is the essential characteristic of this site. The 2010 needs at least a few years in bottle to settled down, but it is drop-dead gorgeous, even today. (AG) 95+ " (12/2012)
Starting Bid: $110.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2005 Robert Foley Napa Valley Claret (93ST, 92RP). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Saturated bright ruby color. Liqueur-like aromas of black cherry, raspberry and mocha; high-toned in a positive way. A sweet, powerful fruit bomb on the palate, with perfectly integrated acidity giving shape and grip to the dark berry and cherry flavors. Firm underlying minerality contributes to the wine's very fresh impression. Finishes with terrific aromatic persistence. (ST)" (05/2008)
Starting Bid: $200.00

Bid on this 2-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2013 Vine Hill Ranch "VHR" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (98VN, 96RP) and 1-bottle of 2015 Vine Hill Ranch "VHR" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (97JD, 96VN, 94JS, 94RP). Of the 2013 Vine Hill Ranch "VHR" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon, Vinous writes: "Majestic and towering in personality, the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon is one of the truly great wines of a great vintage. The flavors are bold, intense and driving, with huge swaths of tannins and layers of pulsating minerality in support. Graphite, leather, lavender, tobacco and spices wrap around the virile, imposing finish. A wine of vertical structure and stunning detail, the 2013 is going to need the better part of the next decade to start opening up. Today, it is impressive, but it will be even better in a few years' time. (AG)" (10/2015)
Starting Bid: $280.00

Bid on this 7-bottle tasting lot in original wood; including 1-bottle of 2018 Schrader "Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon ((97-99JD), 98JS, (95-97RP)), 1-bottle of 2018 Schrader "Beckstoffer To Kalon - CCS" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100JD, 97RP, 96JS), 2-bottles of 2018 Schrader "Beckstoffer To Kalon - RBS" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (99JD, (96-98RP), (96-97JS)), 1-bottle of 2018 Schrader "Beckstoffer To Kalon - T6" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97JD, 97JS, 97RP), 1-bottle of 2018 Schrader "MB - To Kalon Vineyard Monastery Block" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon ((97-100RP), 97JD, (95-96JS)), and 1-bottle of 2018 Schrader "To Kalon Vineyard - Heritage Clone" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon ((97-100RP)).
Starting Bid: $1,560.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2010 Scarecrow Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 98RP, 94ST, 94WS) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Tasting the three most recent vintages of the Scarecrow Cabernet Sauvignon was not only a privilege, but also an intellectual and hedonistic turn-on. The 2010 Scarecrow Cabernet Sauvignon (100% Cabernet Sauvignon) is a magnificent wine. Full-bodied and opulent with terrific purity, an intriguing, gravelly, wet stone-like minerality, and a sensational perfume, it has a spectacular finish that lasted over 45 seconds, offering up copious quantities of black currants, black cherries, cedar and vanillin. It is one of the superstars of the vintage. It is accessible now because of the sweetness of the tannins, but make no mistake, there is plenty of structure underlying the luxurious fruit levels. (RP)" (10/2013)
Starting Bid: $970.00

Bid on this bottle of 2018 Vine Hill Ranch "VHR" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (98VN). Vinous: "The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon has filled out beautifully since I tasted it a year ago. Rich, sumptuous and enveloping, the 2018 captivates all the senses with its sensual personality. All the Vine Hill Ranch signatures come through so beautifully. The 2018 possesses tremendous intensity as it continues to open in the glass, revealing myriad shades of nuance. Black cherry, lavender, spice and chocolate all flesh out on a wine that balances the sumptuousness of the 2012 with some of the energy (but not the size) of the 2013. (AG)" (01/2021)
Starting Bid: $180.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2005 Rubicon Estate "Rubicon" Rutherford Bordeaux Blend (96WE, 95CG, 95RP, 93WS). Wine Enthusiast: "Made from 98% Cabernet Sauvignon, with no Merlot or Cabernet Franc for the first time, the ’05 Rubicon tastes bigger and more impenetrable than any previous vintage. It’s thick and heavy at this time, with furry tannins and undeniably ripe flavors of blackberries, black currants, cherries, violets, chocolate and cedar, and a tang of melted minerals. Desperately needs time in the cellar. Nowhere near ready for at least four years, and that may be conservative.Tasted three times, and better each time, a seriously good sign, and potentially a perfect wine. *Cellar Selection*" (06/2009)
Starting Bid: $290.50

Bid on this bottle of 2014 Schrader "Beckstoffer Las Piedras - LPV" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (99RP, 97JS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon LPV is from clone 337 from the Las Piedras Vineyard in St. Helena. This shows Mission Haut-Brion-like characteristics as it has in the past, with crushed rock, wet gravel, scorched earth, blackberry and blueberry fruit. It is clearly one of my favorites of this entire tasting. It has 14.5% natural alcohol and was aged in 90% new Darnajou and 10% new Taransaud barrels. This is a killer effort. (RP)" (10/2016)
Starting Bid: $195.00

Bid on this 8-bottle lot of 2018 Caymus Vineyards Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. There's no wine like Caymus Cabernet Sauvignon, and the 2018 vintage shows in spades what this brand is all about. Luxurious opulence on an unrivaled scale defines this wine year in and year out. Dark, super-ripe fruit lays over sleek, rich texture with additional complexity coming in form of cola, chinese five spice, mocha, and molasses. Legions of hard-core Caymus fans will not be disappointed by this latest rendition!
Starting Bid: $440.00

Bid on this bottle of 1995 Joseph Phelps "Insignia" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (98RP, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A wine of great intensity and richness, it displays classic notes of licorice, barbecue smoke, creme de cassis, cedarwood and forest floor. Full-bodied with sensational purity, a multidimensional mouthfeel and a long, voluptuous finish with no hard edges, it has only reached mid-adolescence, and has at least two decades of life ahead of it. (RP)" (11/2013)
Starting Bid: $180.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2011 Scarecrow Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 96VN, (91-93RP), 92ST, 91WS) in original wood. Vinous: "Dark plum, mocha, spice, licorice and asphalt meld together in the 2011 Scarecrow. One of the most powerful, resonant wines of the year, the 2011 is endowed with serious structure. Readers need to be patient. Today the tannins are super powerful, but at the same time there is tremendous complexity in the glass. The 2011 is arguably the most refined Scarecrow ever made. There is plenty of depth, but also incredible elegance and precision throughout. (AG) 96+" (11/2013)
Starting Bid: $1,050.00

Bid on this bottle 2003 Joseph Phelps "Insignia" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (96WE, 93RP, 92VN). Wine Enthusiast: "One of the first, if not the first, of the proprietarily named Napa Bordeaux blends, Phelps Insignia has been one of California’s greatest Cabs for decades. This is their 30th anniversary bottling, and it’s worthy of the tradition. Ultrarich and smooth, with a mouthfeel that’s pure velvet, it’s fairly thick in tannins now, suggesting cellaring. But it’s huge in blackberry, dark unsweetened chocolate and spicy plum fruit, and will easily hold for a very long time. *Top 100 of 2007, Cellar Selection* " (03/2007)
Starting Bid: $180.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Opus One Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (100DC, 100JS, 97RP, 97VN). James Suckling: "The greatest Opus ever. Terrific aromas of crushed black currants, blueberries and flowers with hints of sweet tobacco. Roses continue to exude opulence and class. Full body, superb balance of ultra-fine tannins and vibrant acidity. Complex aftertaste of black fruits and citrus fruit. Extremely persistent. So approachable now and enjoyable. But will be even better in 2019 and beyond. 79% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Cabernet Franc, 6% Merlot, 6% Petit Verdot, 2% Malbec. This will always be beautiful to drink." (09/2016)
Starting Bid: $877.00

Bid on this bottle of 2018 Myriad "Beckstoffer Georges III-Empyrean" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (99JD, 96RP, (92-95VN)). Jeb Dunnuck: "The tiny selection 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Georges III Vineyard Empyrean is a cellar selection from this large site and tastes like the classic cuvée, just denser and richer. A stunning nose of blackcurrants, smoked tobacco, candied violets, orange blossom, and flowery incense gives way to a full-bodied, powerful wine with building tannins, a wonderful sense of freshness and purity, no hard edges, and a great finish." (08/2020)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this bottle of 2002 Shafer "Hillside Select" Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 97WE, 97WS, 96ST, 95W&S, 94DC, 94VN, 93CG). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "In contrast to the more linear, structured, but massive 2001, the 2002 Shafer Cabernet Sauvignon Hillside Select is pure fruit-bomb material, but stunningly proportioned, beautifully pure, with notes of melted chocolate, blackcurrant jam, sweet black cherries, licorice, camphor and charcoal. Very full-bodied, like the 2001, but much more lavishly fruited, it is more accessible and hedonistically, as well as intellectually, satisfying. If the 2001 is the long-distance runner, this comes across more like a middle-distancer. It had performed fabulously well since it was released by the winery, and even though it’s still an adolescent in terms of its evolution, this wine is a head-turner in wine tastings, and a spectacular effort from Napa. (RP)" (12/2014)

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2004 Robert Mondavi "Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 96WS, 93CG, 93VN, 92RP, 92WE) in original wood. Wine Spectator: "A tour de force, intense, rich and vibrant, with an amazing core of currant, blackberry, anise and mocha flavors.—Robert Mondavi vertical. Drink now through 2030. (JL, Web-2016)"
Starting Bid: $480.00

Bid on this bottle of 1990 Heitz Cellar "Bella Oaks" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Heitz Wine Cellar is an iconic Napa Valley wine producer located just south of St Helena. It is most famous for its single-vineyard wines made of Cabernet Sauvignon. Winery note: "Bella Oaks Vineyard is a prestigious sliver of 18 lush acres in the heart of the distinguished Rutherford growing district. Positioned on the west side of the valley where the soil is wonderfully rich and well-drained, the vines revel in the sun's rays all day long resulting in plump berries that ripen a bit earlier in the season."
Starting Bid: $100.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2008 Lewis Cellars Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (93WS). Wine Spectator: "Supple and flesh, with appealing ripe plum and black cherry fruit that's fleshy and layered. Rich, complex and elegant, gaining weight and persistence on the finish, where the flavors fan out nicely. (JL)" (02/2011)
Starting Bid: $130.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2004 Grace Family "Blank Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (90VN). Vinous: "Good red-ruby. Aromas of redcurrant, cherry, earth, smoke and tobacco. Sweet and plump, with moderately complex flavors of redcurrant, gravel and loam; showing less of the eucalyptus character of past vintages, which winemaker Gary Brookman attributes to the maturing vines (they were planted in 1998), the small crop level, and an element of dehydration in 2004. Finishes with sweet tannins. (ST)" (05/2007)
Starting Bid: $100.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2004 Robert Foley Napa Valley Claret (94RP, 92ST, 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A blend of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Merlot from the multi-talented Robert Foley, this opaque purple-colored 2004 Claret displays the Midas touch exhibited by Foley for many years. Sweet aromas of creme de cassis, licorice, charcoal and spice are followed by a beautifully etched, full-bodied wine with sweet tannins, well-integrated acidity, and a hint of background oak. Long, lush and opulent, it can be enjoyed over the next decade. (RP)" (04/2014)
Starting Bid: $240.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Scarecrow Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 98RP, 96VN, 95WS) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The classic 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon included fruit from the 2-acre, old vine parcel that is nearly 70 years of age. It boasts an opaque purple color as well as copious notes of spring flowers, blackberries, black raspberries and wet rocks. The wine’s gravelly minerality and spectacular opulence and density make it an instant classic. … It showed incredibly well last year, and it still reveals the potential to possibly merit a 3-digit score – it’s that special. One of the classic wines of Napa Valley, Scarecrow’s Cabernet Sauvignons are made by well-known winemaking consultant Celia Welch. This historic vineyard in Rutherford, which owns some of the oldest vines in all of Napa, continues to turn out some of Napa’s most profound Cabernet Sauvignons. (RP)" (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $1,425.00

Bid on this bottle of 2017 Carter "Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard - La Verdad" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96JD, 94VN, 93RP). Jeb Dunnuck: "In the same mold as the La Bam, but with a touch more minerality, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Las Piedras La Verdad boasts a deep purple color as well as loads of ripe black cherry and plum fruits intermixed with notes of liquid violets, bouquet garni, and crushed rocks. Beautifully balanced and full-bodied, it has notable freshness as well as tannins." (01/2020)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2003 Scarecrow Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 98RP) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This inky purple-colored wine has an extraordinary nose of sweet black cherry jam intermixed with licorice, spice box, and cedar. It has sensational richness, but the purity, elegance, and overall nuance of this wine are what set it apart and give it a very distinctive character all its own. This is a fabulous Cabernet Sauvignon and another terrific 2003 that can be drunk now or cellared for 15-20 or more years. (RP)" (12/2006)
Starting Bid: $1,460.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Realm "The Absurd" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (100JD, 100RP, 97JS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A blend of 83% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Franc and the rest Petit Verdot, is the 2014 The Absurd, basically a choice of their finest barrels, or as winemaker and owner Benoit Touquette says, 'The crème de la crème.' This is another perfect wine equaling their incredible 2013. Yet the 2014 is slightly more forward and showy, as many 2013s are just beginning to shut down. There are 250 cases of this majestic wine that has an opaque purple color, extraordinary nose of spring flowers, blueberry, blackberry, creosote, charcoal, toast and spice. The wine has unbelievable fruit on the attack, midpalate and finish, compelling purity, texture and a finish of close to a full minute. It is (as advertised by the winery) a 'showcase of the best of Napa Valley with the freedom of expression that results from no rules.' (RP)" (12/2016)

Bid on this bottle of 1961 Beaulieu Vineyard "Georges de Latour" Private Reserve Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon . In 1900, when Georges de Latour decided to buy a small, four-acre property in the town of Rutherford as a surprise for his wife he, perhaps unwittingly, purchased a piece of Napa Valley history. The land would become the foundation for Beaulieu Vineyard, which survived Prohibition by having one of a handful of contracts to supply churches with sacramental wine. After Prohibition the winery continued to thrive, experimenting with varietals, blends and aging and under the direction of André Tchelistcheff, the winery would fast become one of California's preeminent producers. According to Wine Spectator: "Medium amber red in color. Drying out a bit, but with good berry, tobacco and mushroom character. Light finish.--Georges de Latour Private Reserve vertical." (02/00)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2016 Realm "Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100JD, 98JS, 97RP, 95VN, 94DC). Jeb Dunnuck: "An incredible wine that tops out on my scale, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon comes from one of the great terroirs of the world and delivers everything you could want from a Napa Cabernet! Off-the-hook notes of blackcurrants, blueberries, black cherries, violets, plums, smoke tobacco and incense all soar from the glass. It’s a massive wine, yet stays perfectly balanced and pure on the palate, with loads of tannins, no hard edges, and a blockbuster finish. It’s undeniably about as sexy as it gets, yet stays graceful and light, with an ethereal personality. Don’t miss it." (01/2019)

Great length, it's muscular with wonderful definition." (04/2011)

Of the 2015 Shafer "One Point Five" Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon, Wine Enthusiast writes: "Taut and leathery, this is a thickly tannic, incredibly structured and powerful wine, softened by 7% Merlot and 3% Malbec. Extracted black fruit is poised amongst earthy truffle, crushed rock and black pepper, the aromas and flavors intefrated and built to age. *Cellar Selection, Ranked #12 Top 100 Cellar Selections of 2018* (VB)" (10/2018)

Prodigious when it hits the palate with a full-bodied expansiveness, there is not a hard edge to be found in the 1997, only velvety tannins, compelling depth and fruit intensity, and stunning purity. Wonderfully sweet, velvety tannins, a big sweet nose of white flowers, blackberry and cassis along with cedar wood, charcoal and graphite are all present in this full-bodied opulent wine that also retains wonderful elegance. It finished at 14.6% alcohol and will drink beautifully now as well as over the next 15-20 years. (RP)" (10/2016)

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2003 Rubicon Estate "Rubicon" Rutherford Bordeaux Blend (93W&S, 91CG, 91ST). Wine & Spirits: "Rubicon is the top wine from Gustave Niebaum's classic Inglenook Vineyard in the benchlands of the Mayacamas at Rutherford, managed for decades by his nephew, John Daniel, and ultimately reassembled in its current form by Francis Ford Coppola. The 2003 is rich in luscious tannins, with a deep cherry essence, a dynamic flavor with the herbal edge of a great Rutherford Cabernet. It's plush and delicious, a fine performance in the uneven weather conditions of 2003." (10/2007)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2006 Chateau Montelena "Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94JD, 94VN, 93JS). Vinous: "Dark red with ruby tones; not as deep as the '05 or '04. Very dark aromas of cassis, licorice and cocoa powder are complicated by exotic dusty spices and Provençal herbs. Suave, pure and mouthfilling, with its fine-grained dark berry and spice flavors broadening on the back half. Boasts a lovely balance of sweet and savory qualities, with bright acidity and refined tannins giving the wine plenty of backbone for further leisurely evolution in bottle. Finishes with excellent building length. (ST)" (05/2019)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2005 Bond "Melbury" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (95RP, 95VN, 95WE, 92JS). Vinous: "A very pleasant surprise, the 2005 Melbury is also the first wine in this tasting that shows the onset of aromatic notes that are leading into the tertiary realm. Even so, the 2005 possesses superb depth and terrific resonance in all of its dimensions. I expect the 2005 will drink well for another 10-15 years given its palate weight. (AG)" (11/2017)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2014 Outpost "True Vineyard" Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The limited-production 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon True Vineyard (475 cases) is also 100% Cabernet Sauvignon aged 20 months in 90% new French oak. This is an amazing 2014 and one of the few perfect wines that I could find while tasting at the top addresses in Northern California. Blue/purple in color, with extraordinarily intense floral notes intermixed with blueberry, blackberry, crushed charcoal and camphor, the wine hits the palate with a spectacular display of glycerin, fruit, sweet tannin, adequate acidity, and wonderful equilibrium and purity. The finish was close to a minute. This wine is irresistible, although it is certainly capable of lasting three decades or more. Kudos to the Dotzlers and Thomas Rivers Brown for this magnificent achievement! (RP)" (10/2016)

Bid on this bottle of 2009 Lewis Cellars "Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94WS). Wine Spectator: "A wine of great density, focus and concentration, with tiers of ripe blackberry, wild berry, mocha, espresso and black licorice flavors, ending with a tight, firm, fine-grained tannic backbone. Bid on this magnum of 2013 Harlan Estate Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (1.5L) (100JS, 100RP, 99VN, 97DC, 95WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "As I predicted last year, the 2013 Harlan Estate is one of their all-time greats, although they have had many of them, starting with the 1991, followed by 1994, 1995, 1997 (although controversial in some circles), 2001, 2002, 2005, 2007, 2010 and 2012. This great first-growth property, with aspirations to produce the finest Cabernet Sauvignon-based wine made in the New World, has given us a wine that has it all in 2013. Dense purple to the rim, with notes of espresso, white chocolate, mocha, blackberry, cassis, and cedar wood, the wine is full-bodied, opulent, but also structured, pure and incredibly long (well past a minute aftertaste). It is probably closest in personality and overall character to the compelling 2001, which is still a youthful wine at age 15. Drink it over the next 50+ years. (RP)" (10/2016)
Starting Bid: $1,550.00

Bid on this bottle of 2013 Maybach "Materium" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 97DC, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "There are roughly 600 cases of the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Materium, all of which comes from the Weitz Vineyard on the eastern Vaca Mountain hillside of Oakville at an elevation of about 1, 000 feet above the Silverado Trail. This is shallow soil interspersed with loads of pebbles and stones. This wine is incredible first-growth material – a magical Cabernet Sauvignon with an opaque purple color, an extraordinary nose of blackberry and cassis, white flowers, crushed rock and minerality followed by a full-bodied majestic mouthfeel with phenomenal balance, purity and overall equilibrium. Stunningly rich and impressive, this wine will hit its peak in 8-10 years and has the potential to last 40-50 years. For those who keep track of such things, the wine was completely aged in 100% new Darnajou and Taransaud barrels. (RP)" (10/2015)

Bid on this bottle of 2015 Kata "Beckstoffer Bourn Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97VN, 96JD, 95RP, 94JS). Vinous: "The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Bourn Vineyard is dark, unctuous and fabulously concentrated. Blueberry jam, crème de cassis, bittersweet chocolate, menthol, licorice and cloves infuse this unctuous, full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon. The 85% new oak is already well integrated. This is another compelling, full-throttle wine from David Beckstoffer and Benoit Touquette. The 85% new oak is already nicely integrated. (AG)" (03/2018)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this bottle of 2008 Clos du Val Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon (91W&S, 91WE). Wine Enthusiast: "Made in the classic Clos du Val style, this Cabernet is less ripe, drier and more acidic than many of its Napa Valley neighbors. It’s also very tannic. Currently, it’s an aloof, austere wine, but it has a deep core of blackberries. This wants at least eight years in a proper cellar, and should age well for another decade beyond that. *Cellar Selection*" (09/2012)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2003 Robert Mondavi "Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95CG, 93RP, 93VN, 92WE, 91WS). Connoisseurs Guide: "Its deep and beautifully defined aromas of dense, curranty fruit, dusty earth and generous oak signal that something good is to come here, and the broad but classically composed and keenly fruited flavors that follow confirm every hope. Already showing an uncanny impression of layering and range, this outstanding wine is at once supple in feel yet buttressed by lots of very fine-grained tannins, and, although its essential beauty is not in the least compromised by coarseness, it is a bit tough at the finish as young Cabernet can be." Starting Bid: $245.00

Bid on this bottle of 2004 Scarecrow Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (99RP, 94VN, 94WS). The finesse of the tannins is fabulous. (RP)" (04/2014)
