Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2016 Pride Mountain "Reserve" Sonoma-Napa Counties Claret (96JD, 95RP, 92VN, 92WE, 92WS). Jeb Dunnuck: "There are just over 500 cases of the 2016 Reserve Claret, a more Merlot-dominated blend that includes 31% Cabernet Sauvignon and 1% Petit Verdot. It's similarly hued to the Reserve Cabernet and has a terrific perfume of blackcurrants, black cherries, ground herbs, and black tea as well as a whiff of dark chocolate and new saddle leather. This beauty offers a stunning array of full-bodied richness and depth, building yet ripe tannins, notable purity, and a sense of power without heaviness. It is a fabulously complex Bordeaux blend from Napa/Sonoma that will continue drinking beautifully for another 20 years. " (01/2020)
Starting Bid: $225.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2009 Kosta Browne Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (95WS, 93JS, 91ST, 90CG). Wine Spectator: "Ripe and deeply flavored, concentrated and well-structured, this full-bodied red offers a complex mix of black cherry, wild berry and raspberry fruit that's pure and persistent, ending with a pebbly note and firm tannins. *Wine of the Year, Top 100 Wines of 2011* (JL)" (08/2011)
Starting Bid: $225.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Marcassin "Marcassin Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (97JD, 97RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Pinot Noir Marcassin Vineyard, which comes primarily from the Calera clone (although I suspect there are a few mystery clones in their plantings), always seems to remind me of a grand cru from Burgundy’s Côte de Nuits, particularly Morey-St.-Denis. Dense ruby/plum, its sweet nose of strawberries, black cherry liqueur, fresh porcini mushrooms and forest floor is followed by a dark, full-bodied, rich and concentrated wine that is supple, dramatic, and even flamboyant. (RP)" (03/2016)
Starting Bid: $800.00

Bid on this 2-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2012 Stags' Leap Winery Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (93JS, 90WE) and 1-bottle of 2014 Stag's Leap Wine Cellars "Fay" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95JD, (92-95RP), 94JS, (91-94VN), 93DC, 93WE). Of the 2014 Stag's Leap Wine Cellars "Fay" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "The 2014s are not yet in bottle. As for the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Fay Estate-Grown, this has a similar saturated purple color, terrific presence on the palate, great ripeness, loads of minerality, floral notes and beautifully pure blackcurrant liqueur intermixed with licorice and spice. It is full-bodied and rich with well-integrated tannin and wood. This is another 20- to 25-year wine, but should drink well after its release. (RP)" (12/2016)

Bid on this 2-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2017 Anakota "Helena Dakota" Knights Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and 1-bottle of 2017 Anakota "Helena Montana" Knights Valley Cabernet Sauvignon.
Starting Bid: $150.50

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2015 Realm "The Absurd" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (100JD, 100RP, 95JS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Composed of 88% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Merlot and 6% Cabernet Franc, the singular, absolutely compelling 2015 The Absurd opens with a seriously intense black currant cordial and plum preserves core, slowly revealing cedar chest, mincemeat pie, potpourri and spice box hints plus a waft of chocolate-covered cherries. The full-bodied, concentrated palate is packed with opulent black fruits and baking spice layers, featuring a rock-solid backbone of tight-grained tannins and just enough freshness to lift and tantalize on the long, seductive finish. Only 250 cases were made. (LPB)" (10/2017)
Starting Bid: $1,350.00

Bid on this bottle of 2018 Maybach "Materium" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (100JD, 98RP). Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2018 Materium comes from the Weitz Vineyard in Oakville and is all Cabernet Sauvignon brought up in mostly new barrels. It's a very different wine than the Amoenus release and has more elegant, seamless aromas and flavors of crème de cassis, black raspberries, tobacco leaf, flowery incense, and sandalwood. Château Margaux-like in its elegance and complexity, this brilliant wine has loads of sweet fruit, flawless integration of its tannins and acidity, flawless balance, and just a heavenly overall profile that I wish every reader could taste. This extraordinary effort can be drunk today or cellared for 30 years or more." (01/2021)
Starting Bid: $230.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1997 Dalla Valle Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (93RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1997 Cabernet Sauvignon (2, 800 cases from a blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Cabernet Franc) boasts an opaque purple color as well as a gorgeous nose of mineral-infused black currants, and spicy oak. Full-bodied, structured, muscular, and multi-dimensional, it is approachable, but best cellared for 2-4 years, and drunk over the following 20-25 years. (RP)" (12/2000)
Starting Bid: $315.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2018 Aubert "Powder House" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay ((96-99RP), 97JD, 96WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The second vintage of this wine, the 2018 Chardonnay Powder House comes from eight acres of what are now estate-owned vines planted in 2013, to Hyde Old Wente and Mt. Eden clones on Goldridge soils. The vineyard is located in downtown Forestville, right across from the high school. The nose bursts from the glass with notes of lemon meringue pie, lime curd, tangerine peel and candied ginger plus touches of lightly browned toast, cashews and a waft of cedar. The full-bodied palate starts out gentle and floral, expanding into a citrus explosion on the finish, featuring a wicked backbone of freshness and loads of compelling savory sparks that will keep you coming back for more. (LPB)" (10/2019)
Starting Bid: $315.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1973 Chappellet Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (93JG, 93VN, 92RP). Vinous: "In any other setting, the 1973 Chappellet Cabernet Sauvignon would have probably shown better, but the table was full of great bottles, including the iconic 1969. On this night , the 1973 shows good balance, but it also comes across as a bit mature and dried out. (AG)" (06/2013)
Starting Bid: $645.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2002 Pahlmeyer Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (99RP, 95WS, 94ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The nearly perfect 2002 Proprietary Red Wine is a blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Merlot and the rest dollops of Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Malbec. This exotic, full-throttle, nearly over-the-top red wine’s intensity, richness and smoky coffee notes intermixed with notions of chocolate, graphite, and jammy blackberry and black currant fruit ooze from the glass. This rich, concentrated beauty tastes more like a top-notch, young Right Bank Bordeaux from a vintage such as 2009 than a wine dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon. With stunning purity and awesome potential, it can be drunk now or cellared for another two decades. (RP)" (06/2012)
Starting Bid: $270.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1995 Joseph Phelps "Insignia" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (98RP, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A wine of great intensity and richness, it displays classic notes of licorice, barbecue smoke, creme de cassis, cedarwood and forest floor. Full-bodied with sensational purity, a multidimensional mouthfeel and a long, voluptuous finish with no hard edges, it has only reached mid-adolescence, and has at least two decades of life ahead of it. (RP)" (11/2013)
Starting Bid: $447.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2002 Joseph Phelps "Insignia" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (100RP, 96CG, 96WS, 93W&S, 92VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2002 boasts an inky/purple color along with notes of graphite, violets, blackberries, creme de cassis and hints of charcoal and barbecue in addition to a full-bodied, multilayered mouthfeel that builds incrementally with great purity, staggering fruit concentration, and a long, velvety, 50+-second finish. This prodigious effort should continue to drink well for 20+ years. (RP)" (11/2013)
Starting Bid: $750.00

Bid on this magnum of 2012 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (98VN, 96JS, 96RP, 94DC, 94WS). Vinous: "The 2012 Monte Bello is one of the most harmonious young Monte Bellos I can remember tasting. Seamless and voluptuous through to the finish, the 2012 is showing beautifully today. Raspberry jam, pomegranate, white flowers, mint and spices are some of the many notes that flesh out in the glass. A wine with a distinctly red-hued profile, silky tannins, no hard edges and exceptional overall balance, the 2012 Monte Bello is simply magnificent. The 2012 is racy but also impeccably balanced throughout, with shades of the 2001 that come through from time to time. I won't be surprised if the 2013 and 2014 both eventually surpass it, but there is no denying that the 2012 is simply stunning today. This is one of the best showings yet for the 2012. (AG)" (07/2015)
Starting Bid: $260.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2011 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (96DC, 96W&S, 94JS, 94VN, 92WE, 92WS). Decanter: "Dried mulberry, brick dust and rosemary aromas intertwine with Monte Bello’s signature sweet n’ sour scent. Seamless, pure and plump on the palate, with flavours of dried blueberry, fig and dried cherry. The finish is firm and rustic, ending with notes of ash, cocoa powder and cherry skins. Still in its youth, but beginning to reveal itself. (ML)" (01/2021)

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2017 Trefethen Oak Knoll District Pinot Noir. Connoisseurs Guide: "Of the many nested AVAs of Napa Valley, the Oak Knoll District is among the coolest, and its temperate climes have made for a somewhat lighter, medium-bodied Pinot of slightly lower alcohol here that backs away from heady ripeness with slender, red cherry fruit holding its own against a modicum of youthful tannin. It is sufficiently well-balanced to cellar for upwards of a half-dozen years, but it is a wine more of grace than fruity impact and is best reserved for service with those dishes that sit at the lighter end of the Pinot-friendly spectrum. *One Star*" (06/2020)
Starting Bid: $120.00

Bid on this magnum of 2018 Realm "Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (100RP, 98JD, 98VN, 97JS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr Crane Vineyard displays an opaque purple-black color. It saunters confidently out of the glass with compelling notes of warm black plums, blackcurrant cordial, Morello cherries and black raspberries followed by an opulent perfume of exotic spices, dusty soil, rose oil and crushed rocks with a waft of sandalwood. Full-bodied, rich, seductive and so, so spicy, the palate possesses a multitude of savory, earth and preserved fruit layers, framed by an achingly beautiful velvety texture and seamless freshness, finishing long, long, long—truly showing off its latent power. Like a gorgeous intellectual, this is a wine that will absolutely turn heads and create a stir. (LPB)" (10/2020)
Starting Bid: $750.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2001 Niebaum-Coppola "Rubicon" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (92WS, 91CG, 91RP, 90WE). Wine Spectator: "Dark, smooth, rich and complex, with a silky texture leading to a core of ripe plum, black cherry, smoky oak and wild berry flavors, finishing with a long, intricate aftertaste. This is a wine that grows on you. (JL)" (11/2004)
Starting Bid: $210.00

Bid on this magnum of 2015 Myriad "Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (97JD, 94RP, 91JS). Jeb Dunnuck: "The 175-case 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard checks in as 100% Cabernet Sauvignon (aged all in new oak) that offers that classic, earthy, darker style that seems to be the hallmark of this incredible site. Black licorice, darker fruits, scorched earth, leafy herbs and tobacco all give way to a full-bodied, unctuous, concentrated beauty that shines for its purity, depth and texture. It’s a brilliant example of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon to enjoy over the coming 20-25 years." (12/2017)
Starting Bid: $260.00

Bid on this bottle of 2016 Carter "Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard - La Verdad" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100JD, 100RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard La Verdad has a very deep purple-black color and reveals slightly subdued, youthful notes of crushed blueberries, warm black cherries and mulberries with hints of blackcurrant cordial, stewed black tea, wilted roses and fragrant soil. Wow—the palate explodes with very primary yet incredibly exciting, densely packed muscular black fruits, framed with a brick house of super ripe tannins and seamless freshness, finishing very long and incredibly cerebral. Yes, yes, yes! (LPB)" (10/2018)
Starting Bid: $275.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2015 EnRoute "Les Pommiers" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir (94WE, 92WS). Wine Enthusiast: "Lush and velvety, this is a robust wine, richly layered in baked strawberry and huckleberry flavors. The palate is seasoned in tones of clove, cinnamon and orange, with a vibrant backbone of acidity and taut tannins that keeps it fresh in feel within a powerful context of ripeness. (VB)" (05/2018)
Starting Bid: $115.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Carte Blanche Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon ((91-93RP), 92VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Offering more generous amounts of blacker fruits, the 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon displays a deeper, richer mouthfeel as well as more stuffing. It should keep for a decade or more. (RP)" (12/2013)
Starting Bid: $130.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2017 Joseph Phelps "Backus" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (96JD, 96RP, 95JS, (92-95VN), 95WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Backus Vineyard is composed of 92% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Malbec and 4% Petit Verdot. It was aged for 24 months in 100% new French oak barrels. Deep garnet-purple colored, it needs a little coaxing before it charges out of the glass with bold expressions of crème de cassis, boysenberries and black cherry preserves plus suggestions of cast-iron pan, violets, allspice and sandalwood with a touch of fragrant earth. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is absolutely packed with muscular black fruit preserves flavors, beautifully supported by finely grained tannins and lovely freshness, finishing with loads of mineral and spice fireworks. (LPB) 96+" (10/2020)

Bid on this bottle of 1999 Screaming Eagle Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97WS, 95RP). Wine Spectator: "A brilliant effort. Deliciously rich and complex, with gobs of concentrated black cherry, blackberry, plum and currant flavors focused in on a tight beam. Intense and concentrated, it exhibits a supple, polished texture, gaining complexity and nuance on a long, detailed finish. *Collectibles* (JL)" (11/2002)
Starting Bid: $3,000.00

Bid on this 2-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2013 O'Shaughnessy Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (95RP, 95VN, 93DC) and 1-bottle of 2013 Outpost Howell Mountain Zinfandel (90RP, 90VN). Of the 2013 O'Shaughnessy Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon, Vinous writes: "Deep, inky and powerful, the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain is a classic wine endowed with tons of regional character and personality to burn. The inclusion of all seven Bordeaux varieties in the blend adds layers of nuance and complexity. Hints of game, smoke, licorice and dark spices add nuance to a somber, brooding Cabernet Sauvignon that is going to need at least a few years to fully open up. (AG) 95+" (09/2015)
Starting Bid: $153.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2018 Paul Lato "Suerte - Solomon Hills Vineyard" Santa Maria Valley Pinot Noir (98JD). Jeb Dunnuck: "Leading off the Pinot Noirs, the 2018 Suerte Solomon Hills Vineyard comes from a great vineyard just west of Bien Nacido and spent 17 months in 60% new French oak. Lots of black raspberries, spiced cherries, salty sea breeze, flowers, orange blossom, and violet notes emerge from the glass, and it's beautifully textured, full-bodied, and incredibly sexy on the palate. It's stunning today yet will evolve for upwards of a decade." (08/2020)
Starting Bid: $165.00

Bid on this magnum of 2014 Saxum "James Berry Vineyard" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (1.5L) (98RP, 97WS, 96VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The sensationally pure and seamless 2014 James Berry Vineyard Proprietary Red (42% Grenache, 24% Mourvèdre, 21% Syrah, 8% Counoise and 5% Roussanne) was brought up in a mix of barrels and foudre, followed by six months in concrete tanks. The wine offers incredibly rich and layered notes of black raspberries, creme de cassis, crushed flowers, melted licorice and peppery herbs in its full-bodied, impeccably balanced profile. Showing the more upfront, hedonistic style of the vintage, this full-bodied beauty still has ample underlying tannin, beautiful mid-palate depth and a killer finish that keeps you coming back for more. (JD)" (09/2016)
Starting Bid: $245.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2018 Peter Michael "Belle Côte" Knights Valley Chardonnay ((97-99RP), 98JS, 96VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "An eastern-facing slope on white, dusty soil, this vineyard is the latest of the Peter Michael Chardonnay vineyards to ripen each year. The site is planted mainly to Old Wente and See clone selections with a little Rued clone. Planted in 1990, these are the oldest vines on the estate. The 2018 Chardonnay Belle Cote opens with earthy notions of crushed rocks and chalk dust over a core of fresh apricots, Golden Delicious apples and honeydew melon with a fragrant touch of jasmine. The medium to full-bodied palate is both intense and refreshing, not skimping on the silkiness of the texture and delivering a good, long, zesty finish. (LPB) 97+" (02/2021)
Starting Bid: $400.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2018 Ernest "The Settler - Cleary Ranch Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (91RP, 91VN). Vinous: "The 2018 Pinot Noir The Settler Cleary Ranch Vineyard comes across as quite closed today. There is good depth, and the stems have integrated, but at the same time, the fruit is not too expressive. It will be interesting to see where this goes. Hints of dried cherry, cedar, tobacco, mint and sage add lovely aromatic intensity to this savory, earthy Pinot. (AG)" (01/2021)
Starting Bid: $180.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2018 Beringer "Q" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend. Antonio Galloni writes: "This extensive range from Beringer is full of highlights, with one or two wines that might have been more convincing. A bevy of single-vineyard Cabernets form the core of the range, and it is precisely these wines that show another step in the search for greater freshness and energy that culminates in a fabulous edition of the flagship Private Reserve that avoids the heaviness of some recent vintages. My only real quibble is with the Knights Valley Cabernets, which seem to have become more fruity and less expressive of place. Overall, though, there is plenty to like in this lineup from Beringer and Chief Winemaker Mark Beringer."
Starting Bid: $100.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1974 Stag's Leap Wine Cellars "SLV" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Stag's Leap Vineyard. According to Michael Broadbent: "Immensely impressive when first tasted in 1976 and in 1979, still opaque, perfectly balanced, great future. At the Wine Experience 10-year tasting, richly coloured, very pronounced though somewhat idiosyncratic character. More recently, two notes in New York, first a pre-tasting of Tawfiq Khoury's, sweet, distinctive, delicious, and later that evening at a BYOB at Chrisitie's. Last tasted Feb 1997. 4 Stars." (Michael Broadbent's Vintage Wine, pg 513)
Starting Bid: $370.00

Bid on this magnum of 2018 Realm "Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (98RP, 98WE, 98WS, 97VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, coming from five different blocks, and was harvested "in multiple picks, at a leisurely pace." Deep garnet-purple colored, it rolls sensuously out of the glass with decadent scents of boysenberries, black cherries, redcurrant jelly and blackcurrant pastilles with hints of bouquet garni, black soil and iron ore. Full-bodied, the taut, tightly knit black and red fruit has a firm structure of ripe, grainy tannins and bags of freshness, finishing very long with loads of earth and mineral nuances coming through. (LPB) 98+" (10/2020)
Starting Bid: $700.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2018 Williams Selyem "Lewis MacGregor Estate Vineyard" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir (95CG, 95RP, 91BH). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2018 Pinot Noir Lewis MacGregor Estate Vineyard, from Pommard and Swan clone vines planted in 1990, has a medium ruby-purple color and broody scents of spiced cranberry sauce, baked blackberries, prosciutto, bergamot and saline. The palate is medium-bodied with slowly expanding fruits accented by loads of inherent spiciness and a mineral streak. It has a grainy frame and great freshness, finishing very long. Lovely! (EB)" (07/2020)
Starting Bid: $140.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1990 La Jota Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (92RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This small estate on Howell Mountain remains one of California's finest producers of world-class, complex red wine. The 1990 Cabernet Sauvignon-Howell Mountain is typically backward, tannic, full-bodied, and concentrated, but 6-7 years away from accessible drinkability. The color is opaque garnet/purple, and the nose is tight but promising, with scents of minerals, cassis, and spices. Rich and concentrated, as well as ferociously tannic (the tannin is ripe rather than astringent), this promising wine should reach its apogee by the turn of the century and last 20 or more years. (RP)" (10/1993)
Starting Bid: $160.00

Bid on this 2-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2018 Rhys "Porcupine Hill" Anderson Valley Pinot Noir (96VN, 94JD, 94JG) and 1-bottle of 2018 Rhys "Swan Terrace Vineyard" Santa Cruz Mountains Pinot Noir (96VN, 95JG, 94BH). Of the 2018 Rhys "Porcupine Hill" Anderson Valley Pinot Noir, Vinous writes: "The 2018 Pinot Noir Porcupine Hill emerges from a block of densely planted vines that lies apart from the rest of the property, on its own ridge. Weightless and ethereal, the 2018 stands out for its aromatic presence and finely sculpted, detailed profile. Interestingly, the fruit is much less overt here than it is in the Bearwallow. There is something elusive in the Porcupine Hill’s ethereal personality that is absolutely compelling. (AG)" (09/2020)
Starting Bid: $130.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1998 Corison Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Dark, inky color and concentrated flavors resulted from the shy yields. The 1998 Corison shows flavors of cherry, berry and plum fruit with hints of dried rose petal and violet. The wine is elegant in the mouth with a long and firm structure.
Starting Bid: $225.00

Bid on this magnum of 2014 Saxum "Paderewski Vineyard" Paso Robles Red Blend (1.5L) (98JD, 95VN, 95WS, 94RP). Jeb Dunnuck: "Checking in as a final blend of 30% Mourvèdre, 22% Zinfandel, 13% Syrah, 13% Tempranillo and the balance Grenache and Petite Sirah, the 2014 Paderewski Vineyard is as voluptuous and decadent as it gets. Plum sauce, exotic spices, white pepper, candy corn and spring flowers, it hits the palate with a broad, expansive, sexy style, ripe tannin, no weight and a blockbuster finish. It’s so well balanced and seamless, it can come across as a touch easy, yet it has terrific complexity, good mid-palate density and a great, great finish. This is what great wine is all about. Drink it anytime over the coming decade. " (08/2017)
Starting Bid: $155.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2017 Kongsgaard Napa Valley Chardonnay (96RP, 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2017 Chardonnay slips sensuously out of the glass with beguiling notions of crème brulee, orange blossoms and lemon curd over a core of apricot tart and pineapple upside down cake plus a waft of marzipan. The full-bodied palate is stacked with exotic fruit and citrus layers, structured by a satiny texture and bold freshness, finishing very, very long. Wow! (LPB) 96+" (11/2019)
Starting Bid: $260.00

Bid on this magnum of 2018 Carter "The G.T.O. - Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (OWC - 98JD, 98RP) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Available in magnums only, the deep garnet-purple colored 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon The GTO needs a little coaxing to reveal slowly unfurling notes of blackcurrant preserves, blackberry pie, fruitcake and molten licorice with suggestions of chocolate-covered cherries, wild sage, cedar chest and fragrant earth. Full-bodied, the palate is seductively generous, featuring bold black fruit preserves and a firm, grainy foundation with an underpinning of soft, beautifully balanced acidity, finishing on a long-lingering exotic spice note. (LPB)" (11/2020)
Starting Bid: $600.00

Bid on this bottle of 2010 Hewitt "Double Plus" Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 96WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A spectacular effort, probably the finest wine I have tasted to date from Hewitt Vineyard, the 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Double Plus is a classic of mid-Napa Valley. It boasts gorgeous notes of creme de cassis, flowers and spice box in a rich, but not over-done style. The wood influence is subtle, not intrusive, and this gorgeous, full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon performed spectacularly in my tastings. (RP)" (10/2013)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this magnum of 2009 Sea Smoke "Southing" Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir (1.5L) (92JS, 91RP). James Suckling: "Pretty aromas of ripe strawberries and citrus character. It shows a beautiful purity of fruit on the palate with very fine tannins and a long silky finish. Pretty acidity too. Firm." (12/2011)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Joseph Phelps "Insignia" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (99RP, 98JS, 98WE, 97JD, 97VN, 96CG, 96DC, 95WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Deep garnet-purple colored, the nose is a little reticent to begin, needing a fair bit of coaxing to reveal beautifully beguiling notions of wild blueberries, warm blackberries, black currant cordial, cloves and cedar chest with nuances of camphor, yeast extract, charcuterie and candied violets. Medium to full-bodied, the palate has fantastic elegance and depth, revealing loads of subtle floral, black fruit and earthy layers with a firm, very finely grained texture and seamless freshness, finishing with epic length. (LPB)" (10/2019)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Realm "Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (99RP, 98JS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "There are 400 cases of the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard, which is 96% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% Petit Verdot. This comes from the backstreets of St. Helena and the site basically looks like a quarry with its extreme gravelly soils. The wine is made from clone 337, which may be my favorite of the Cabernet clones. As I have said before, this is a Mission Haut-Brion on steroids – an incredibly fabulous wine with notes of scorched earth, charcoal embers, blackberry and blueberry fruit, an almost endless mouthfeel with powerful fruit, but elegance as well as purity. A thoroughly flawless and seamless full-bodied wine with 30 years of upside, this is pure perfection. If you have the patience, try to hold off for a couple of years, as this is one of the more structured of the 2014s. (RP)" (12/2016)
Starting Bid: $700.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Kapcsándy "Grand Vin - State Lane Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Absolutely riveting, and even better than I predicted last year is the 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon - Grand Vin State Lane Vineyard. Made from 92% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Merlot, and the rest tiny dollops of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot...in two weeks of tastings, this wine stood out as one of those singular efforts that it is impossible to get out of your mind and off of your palate. A flawless, seamless, profound example of Napa Cabernet, it exhibits an opaque purple color along with a gorgeous perfume of lead pencil shavings, cedar, creme de cassis, ink, flowers, and espresso roast. Bid on this bottle of 2002 Abreu "Madrona Ranch" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100JD, 100RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2002 Madrona Ranch possesses an opaque blue/purple color as well as an extraordinary, enveloping, massive aromatic profile consisting of spring flowers, charcoal, lead pencil shavings, blueberries, raspberries and blackberry liqueur. In the mouth, there is sensational texture, full-bodied intensity, and terrific freshness, precision and vibrancy, despite what is undeniably a massive, rich, intense wine that should age well for another 25-35 years. The 2001s were about as profound as I have ever tasted from Abreu, but the 2002s may be even sexier since they are slightly more evolved. (RP)" (06/2012)

Bid on this bottle of 1968 Heitz "Martha's Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96JG). John Gilman: "The 1968 vintage was the first truly legendary Martha’s Vineyard bottling and its reputation has been stellar since the wine was first released in 1973. At age forty-three, the wine remains absolutely at its zenith and is drinking stunningly well. The bouquet is deep, wide open and brilliant, as it soars from the glass in a mélange of red and black cherries, a touch of chocolate, a beautiful signature note of fresh mint, woodsmoke, Rutherford dust, a touch of petroleum jelly, red curry and a topnote of orange zest. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, very pure and absolutely à point, with a sappy core of fruit, a beautiful base of soil, great focus, bright, tangy acids and flawless balance on the very, very long and utterly seamless finish. This is a legendary vintage of Martha’s Vineyard that remains at its absolute apogee." (06/2011)

Great energy and intensity here. " (01/2021)

Of the 2009 Sine Qua Non "This Is Not An Exit" Sta. Rita Hills Syrah, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "An extended barrel-aged release, the 2009 Syrah This Is Not An Exit is 100% from the Santa Rita Hills Eleven Confessions Vineyard and checks in as a blend of 80% Syrah, 12% Grenache, 7% Roussanne and 1% Viognier that saw 41.5 months in 65% new French oak. Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2017 Joseph Phelps "Insignia" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97WE, 96DC, 96JD, 96JS, 96RP, 94W&S, 94WS). Wine Enthusiast: "This estate-grown blend combines 94% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Malbec and 2% Cabernet Franc, allowing the main variety to speak loudest. Gorgeously perfumed, it unfurls wave after wave of cassis, dusty rock and cocoa powder - seasonings that boost secondary characteristics of black and red currant and cherry. With structure and complexity to spare, it should do well over time; enjoy best from 2027-2032. *CellarSelection* (VB)" (11/2020)
