Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2016 Le Dôme, St-Émilion (100JD, 100WE, 99RP, 96JS). Wine Enthusiast: "This 80% Cabernet Franc wine may be massive, but it is also perfumed with swathes of opulent black fruit. It comes from a great year for Cabernet Franc, which forms 75% of this vineyard. Juicy acidity gives the wine a velvet character that is enticing. It needs time, so wait to drink from 2026. *Cellar Selection* (RV)" (05/2019)

Bid on this magnum of 2013 Morlet "Force de la Nature" Napa Valley Cabernet Franc (1.5L) (100RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Luc Morlet's three-digit wine is the 2013 Cabernet Franc Force de la Nature, 100% Cabernet Franc from the incredible Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard. This is an ethereal wine that goes beyond just being majestic. Aged in 100% new Darnajou oak, the wine offers a flowery, blueberry and blackberry-scented nose along with forest floor, some sweet, subtle toast and lead pencil shavings. Remarkably rich, full-bodied, but light on its feet and on the palate, the wine builds incrementally to a majestic, full-throttle, seamless work that is rather remarkable. This is an amazing wine, and Luc Morlet has certainly proven once again his incredible talents and knowledge of great vineyard sites. Drink it over the next 15-20 years. (RP)" (12/2015)
Starting Bid: $750.00

Bid on this bottle of 2009 Cayuse "Flying Pig" Walla Walla Valley Bordeaux Blend (94RP, 93WE, 92WS, 91ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Baron’s as usual Cabernet Franc-dominated 2009 Flying Pig – incorporating 34% Merlot as well as 12% Cabernet Sauvignon; its entirety sourced from the 1998 En Cerise plantings; and assembled around nine months after fermentation – gives a mouthwatering impression of being suffused with savory, carnal, fatty pan drippings. If this libation doesn’t qualify as high umami, I don’t know what would! With that come ripe, succulent, subtly tart-edged cassis and blueberry; bittersweet floral perfume; as well as rich yet piquant toasty walnut and hickory, all of which ally on a polished, soothing palate, leading to a long, vibrantly dynamic and – as already adumbrated – salivary gland-milking finish. This should prove a terrifically memorable table companion over the coming decade if not also beyond. (DS)" (12/2012)
Starting Bid: $105.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Kapcsandy "Rapszodia" Yountville Bordeaux Blend (98RP, 96JS, 95VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A great effort and a showcase for Cabernet Franc is the 2012 Rapszodia. This is a blend of 90% Cabernet Franc from the heavy clay soils of their vineyard blended with 10% Merlot aged in 100% new French oak for 20 months and bottled without filtration. A stunning nose of acacia flowers, blueberry liqueur and blackberry is followed by a medium to full-bodied wine that’s amazingly intense, rich and concentrated, but surprisingly light on its feet weight-wise. The wine is full-bodied, but stunningly ethereal and sublime. This is a stunner, and a great example of what Cabernet Franc can do from a terrific terroir, great winemaking and élevage. Sadly, only 175 cases were produced. Look for this wine to continue to drink well for up to two decades. (RP)" (10/2015)

Bid on this bottle of 2016 B Cellars "Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Franc ((98-100RP)). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2016 Cabernet Franc Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard (a barrel sample) has a deep garnet-purple color and offers up a drop dead gorgeous perfume of violets, lavender and crushed red currants with a core of wild blueberries and mulberries, plus exotic spice nuances of star anise, fenugreek and cardamom. Full-bodied and wonderfully layered, balanced and complex in the mouth even at this nascent stage, it features very firm, very fine ripe tannins and bags of freshness, finishing with epically long spice layers. Wow. (LPB) " (10/2017)
