Bid on this magnum of 2012 Paradigm Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L). Paradigm's neighbors in the Oakville AVA include Harlan, Futo, Cardinale, Blankiet, and the iconic To-Kalon vineyard. This is serious Napa Valley terroir at a mere fraction of the price of its blue-chip contemporaries! From winemaker Heidi Barrett: "My first comment tasting this wine is 'wow!' It's delicious, our flagship wine at Paradigm and it delivers. Dense, deep, ripe aromas of blackberry and black cherry-like fruit is layered with caramel toastiness from a nice mix of French Oak barrels. Flavors coat the palate with matching notes in a classic Cabernet Sauvignon presentation. One of our best Cabs to date!"
Starting Bid: $120.00

Bid on this 6L-bottle lot of 2004 Far Niente Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (6L) (OWC - 93RP, 92WE) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A beautiful wine, Far Niente’s 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon is elegant, rich, concentrated and pure. A blend of 86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Petit Verdot, 4% Cabernet Franc and 4% Merlot, it possesses a saturated purple color, a sweet nose of black currants, licorice, incense and subtle vanilla, medium to full body, significant power and a Pauillac-like cedary, creme de cassis style. (RP) 93+" (04/2014)
Starting Bid: $550.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2010 O'Shaughnessy Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 93VN, 91ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain covers every inch of the palate with layers of deep, rich, dark fruit. Blueberries, blackberries, violet and cloves seem to pop right out of the glass in this juicy, extroverted wine. Deceptively approachable, the 2010 has plenty of tannin lurking beneath its massive fruit. I would not be surprised if the 2010 shuts down in bottle. It is one of the deepest, inkiest 2010s I tasted from Howell Mountain. (AG) 96+" (12/2012)
Starting Bid: $540.00

Bid on this bottle of 2017 MacDonald Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (96JD, 96WS, 95RP, 95VN). Wine Spectator: "Intense cassis and steeped cherry flavors form the core, while singed tobacco, warm loam and savory notes swirl around. In a youthful state now, wrestling with itself as warm gravel, roasted juniper and dark olive elements vie for attention. Cellaring will let this unwind fully. Leans toward the old-school side of the stylistic spectrum. (JM)" (11/2020)
Starting Bid: $340.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2014 Opus One Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (97JS, 96DC, 96RP, 96VN, 93WS). James Suckling: "Mesmerizing aromas of flowers, bark, currants and blackberries. So perfumed. You just want to smell it. Exquisite tension and finesse with an almost Burgundian texture, yet it’s Napa in its soul with ripe fruit, stones, spices and Chinese tea leaf flavors. Savory and delicious. (JS)" (01/2018)
Starting Bid: $950.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2007 Lewis Cellars "Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95WS). Wine Spectator: "Firm, rich, intense and concentrated, with a layered mix of blackberry, currant, black licorice, spice, cedary oak and mineral notes. Full-bodied, well-structured and focused, ending with a long, persistent finish. (JL)" (08/2010)
Starting Bid: $445.00

Bid on this magnum of 2005 Far Niente Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (96WE, 90W&S). Wine Enthusiast: "A fantastic Cabernet that stuns now for authenticity and power, and should develop for many years. Despite the large production, lower than that of many first growth Bordeaux, the wine, which has tiny amounts of Cab Franc and Petit Verdot, shows classic Oakville elegance and precision. *Cellar Selection* " (12/2008)
Starting Bid: $240.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2006 Merus Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (93JS, 92RP, 92WS, 91CG). James Suckling: "This is really powerful on the nose, with reduced aromas of blackberries, raspberries and cherries. Full bodied, with loads of velvety tannins and a thick, jammy after taste. But it's balanced and pretty. " (02/2011)
Starting Bid: $390.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 O'Shaughnessy Mount Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon (97JD, 97RP, 96VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The fabulous 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Mt. Veeder is another glorious example of mountain Cabernet Sauvignon. Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, its opaque purple color is followed by a meaty, bloody, prime rib-like character intermixed with crème de cassis and floral notes. Deep, full-bodied, opulent and incredibly intense and pure, it is superb example of Cabernet Sauvignon from Mt. Veeder. (RP)" (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $170.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2018 Viader Napa Valley Proprietary Red (95JS, 92RP). James Suckling: "A very pretty wine with blackberry, conifer, bark and mushroom aromas and flavors. It’s medium-to full-bodied with layers of pretty fruit and soft tannins. Very nicely crafted for the vintage. Back on form. Try after 2023." (12/2020)
Starting Bid: $210.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2009 Dancing Hares "Mad Hatter" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (91WE, 91WS, 90CG, 90VN). Wine Enthusiast: "This is a thick, young blend that’s based on Merlot. It’s brooding in tannins, offering deep, impressive layers of blackberry purée, dark chocolate and bacon. This is really delicious now with big, rich fare, like short ribs, and it should be good over the next six years." (08/2012)
Starting Bid: $120.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Lewis Cellars "Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95WS). Wine Spectator: "A mix of harmony, finesse, seductive oak and rich fruit adds up to a delightful mouthful of Cabernet, from the initial aromas of creamy, mocha-scented oak to the structured currant, blackberry and licorice flavors. Ends with a return to the oak theme. (JL)" (05/2017)
Starting Bid: $210.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Ramey "Pedregal" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98JD, 98RP, 95VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Deep garnet colored, the 2007 Pedregal Proprietary Red is sporting a gregarious blackberry pie and blueberry compote-scented nose with touches of mocha, wood smoke, unsmoked cigars and Chinese five spice plus a touch of potpourri. Full-bodied, concentrated and aging at a glacial pace, the built-like-a-brick-house palate is only just starting to budge into tertiary characters, finishing with incredible length and depth. (LPB)" (08/2018)
Starting Bid: $210.00

Bid on this magnum of 1982 William Hill "Gold Label" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L). Founded in 1976 by William Hill, the property is 200 acres of prime vineyards at the foot of Atlas Peak on the Silverado Bench. Today it falls under the Gallo umbrella of brands, but in 1982 William Hill was turning out ageworthy Napa reds, and this particular bottling received 94 points from Wine Spectator upon release.
Starting Bid: $200.00

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Bryant Family "Bettina" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (96JS, 96RP, 94VN, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The seductive 2012 Proprietary Red Bettina offers up a more Margaux-like femininity compared to the overwhelming power and richness of the Bryant Family Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine is a blend sourced from three of David Abreu’s vineyards – Madrona, Thorevilos and Lucia. Notes of Christmas fruitcake, underbrush, blackcurrants, black cherries, licorice and spice box emerge from this complex 2012. At this stage, it is more evolved and aromatically satisfying than the pure blue and black fruits of the Cabernet Sauvignon. Full-bodied and opulent with impeccable balance as well as purity, this wine is already hard to resist because of its surprising complexity and poise. Drink it over the next 15-20 years. (RP)" (12/2014)
Starting Bid: $190.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1999 Château Montelena "Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 95RP, (92-95ST), 94WS, 93VN) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1999 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate (an 8, 600-case cuvee made from yields of 1.98 tons of fruit per acre) is considered by Bo Barrett to be a 'great' year. The wine boasts a saturated inky/purple color as well as extraordinary density of fruit and cassis, and huge tannin, body, and extract. It is a substantial, palate-staining, long, muscular Cabernet that should only be purchased by connoisseurs with cold cellars as well as patience. The Estate Cabernet Sauvignon remains one of California's most remarkable Cabernets. I have been following it since the early seventies, and even the most difficult vintages are still drinking beautifully. The home vineyard is so consistent that even in vintages such as 1989 and 1998, this wine is far better than its competition. (RP)" (08/2002)
Starting Bid: $180.00

Bid on this magnum of 2006 O'Shaughnessy Mt. Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (95RP, 92ST, 91CG). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A stunning effort is the 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon Mt. Veeder. It exhibits blue and black fruits along with notions of licorice, graphite, and incense, a formidable array of concentrated fruit flavors, full-bodied power, a silkiness that is atypical for this vintage, and a long, 40+ second finish. This superb Cabernet Sauvignon can be drunk now or cellared for 15+ years. The wines for this serious Howell Mountain estate are made by Sean Capiaux of Capiaux Cellars. Production is limited to approximately 1, 000 cases of Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain (where they own 30 acres) and smaller amounts of the Mt. Veeder cuvee. (RP)" (12/2008)
Starting Bid: $145.00

Bid on this bottle of 1969 Heitz "Lot C-91" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94JG). John Gilman: "I had not tasted a bottle of the Lot C-91 cabernet sauvignon since 2007, but as I wrote back in the feature on this great estate a few years ago, back in the early days here, Joe Heitz would occasionally have to raid the Martha’s Vineyard casks aging in the cellars to “stretch” the last casks of Napa cabernet when stocks were running low of bottles, and occasionally, these blends would appear with special lot designations, as is the case with the C-91. My last bottle of this wine was very pretty, but in retrospect, not as vigorous as some, as I have now had an utterly pristine example!" (07/2015)
Starting Bid: $470.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2007 Scarecrow Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 100JS, 100RP, 96VN) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Scarecrow's inky/purple-colored 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon is a prodigious effort. It reveals a liqueur of crushed rocks intermixed with a smorgasbord of spring flower, blueberry, creme de cassis, and assorted blue, black, and red fruit characteristics. It also possesses extraordinary concentration, but what sets it apart is the fragrant aromatics combined with uncommon purity and elegance for such a full-bodied, massively concentrated wine. Its perfect balance suggests it can be drunk at a relatively young age, but it should easily evolve over 30-35 years. Congratulations to all involved! (RP)" (12/2009)
Starting Bid: $1,800.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2011 Kapcsandy "Grand Vin - State Lane Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96VN, 95ST). Vinous: "As great as the 2010 is, the 2011 isn’t too far behind. Silky, gracious tannins form the backbone in a refined, beautifully balanced Grand Vin long on class. Sweet, perfumed and utterly impeccable throughout, the 2011 is a Grand Vin simply superb. With time in the glass, the 2011 fleshes out beautifully, showing remarkable depth for the year. The 2011 is 89% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot and 1% Cabernet Franc. The higher percentage of Merlot is typical of a lot of blends in 2011. (AG) 96+" (11/2013)
Starting Bid: $390.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Bryant Family "DB4" Napa Valley Red Blend (93VN, 92WS, 90RP). Vinous: "Bryant's DB4 is one of Napa Valley's hidden gems. Round, sweet and expressive - especially for the year - the 2013 exudes richness and intensity, with no excess weight and fabulous overall balance. The 2013 benefits from a high presence of Cabernet Franc that in most years makes the cut for the Bettina. Raspberry jam, mocha, rose petals and mint add the closing shades of nuance. Savvy readers should take note; DB4 is one of the finest wines in Napa Valley in its price range, or any price range for that matter. (AG)" (10/2015)
Starting Bid: $292.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2007 Caymus Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (92WS). Wine Spectator: "Ripe and fleshy, with rich plum, wild berry, spice and savory herb notes that are complex, full-bodied and expansive on the palate, ending with firm tannins and a dash of espresso. (JL)" (11/2009)
Starting Bid: $380.00

Bid on this 2-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2014 Aubert "Sugar Shack" Napa Valley Chardonnay (97RP, 95JS, 95VN) and 1-bottle of 2015 Aubert "Sugar Shack" Napa Valley Chardonnay (97JS, 97RP, 93VN). Of the 2014 Aubert "Sugar Shack" Napa Valley Chardonnay, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "Another stunner is the 2014 Chardonnay Sugar Shack. This wine, which was harvested August 18, 2014, was one of the earliest picks Mark Aubert had ever done. The wine offers up great fruit, which includes notes of pineapple, green apple, honeysuckle and peach marmalade. It is full-bodied with exceptional purity, lingering across the palate. (RP)" (10/2016)
Starting Bid: $215.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2015 Screaming Eagle Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100JD, 100JS, 100RP, 98VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Composed of 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot and 4% Cabernet Franc, the very deep purple-black colored 2015 Screaming Eagle leaps from the glass with notes of freshly crushed black currants, black cherries and blackberries with suggestions of cigar box, black raspberries, red currants, chocolates, pencil lead and cast-iron pan plus a touch of potpourri. Medium to full-bodied with a rock-solid backbone of ripe, grainy tannins and oodles of freshness, it features the most incredible black and red fruit layers and finishes with incredible vibrancy and depth. (LPB)" (04/2018)
Starting Bid: $7,350.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2009 Aloft Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (92WS). Wine Spectator: "A big, expressive style, with tiers of bold, zesty wild berry, raspberry, black licorice and cherry, showing touches of espresso and light mocha. A full-throttle Cabernet, finishing long and persistent. (JL) " (11/2013)
Starting Bid: $240.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2007 Pahlmeyer Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (97RP, 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Medium to deep garnet in color with a hint of purple, the 2007 Proprietary Red Wine absolutely sings of violets, chocolate-covered cherries, mulberries, star anise and cinnamon stick with a core of cassis, spiced blueberries and warm red plums plus a touch of unsmoked cigars. Full-bodied and jam-packed with opulent black fruit, the palate has a rock-solid frame of grainy tannins and just enough freshness, finishing long and perfumed. (LPB)" (08/2018)
Starting Bid: $375.00

Bid on this bottle of 2005 Plumpjack "Reserve" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (97RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Even I raised my eyebrows when I saw the price of this wine, but monetary issues aside, this is a spectacular effort from PlumpJack. The 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve, which I believe is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, comes from the old Villa Mt. Eden Vineyard that produced such great wines in 1973, 1974 and 1975. It is now called the McWilliams Vineyard. You couldn’t ask for a better terroir and location, sandwiched between some mighty titans, such as Rudd Estate, Screaming Eagle across the street, and a Who’s Who of vineyards from the eastern Vaca hillsides to the western lower slopes of the Mayacamas Mountains. (RP)" (06/2015)
Starting Bid: $200.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Gandona "Encosta" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (92JD, 91RP). Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2012 Encosta comes from Pritchard Hill and is made by Philippe Melka. Based on 88% Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest Cabernet Franc and Merlot, is a ripe, forward, undeniably delicious Napa Cabernet that has classic crème de cassis, tobacco, and licorice aromas and flavors. It’s medium to full-bodied, has the ripe, voluptuous style of the vintage, and sweet tannins. It’s drinking beautifully today but will have no issues keeping for another decade." (08/2018)
Starting Bid: $100.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2016-2017 Realm "The Moonracer" Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon Vertical, including 1-bottle of 2016 Realm "The Moonracer" Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon (98JS, 98WE, 96JD, 96RP, 95DC) and 1-bottle of 2017 Realm "The Moonracer" Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon (96JD). Of the 2016 Realm "The Moonracer" Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon,Wine Enthusiast writes: "This is the producer's signature estate wine from Stags Leap District fruit, blending Cabernet Sauvignon with Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot. From volcanic soils, it shows an earthy sensibility that's tough to shake, a lingering thread of black cherry and berry that's met halfway by sweet tobacco, crème brûlée richness and a soft undercurrent of tamed tannins. (VB)" (08/2019)

Bid on this 3L-bottle lot of 2003 Far Niente Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (3L) (OWC - 94WE, 93RP) in original wood. Wine Enthusiast: "In the wine's youth, the aroma of new oak dominates, with that smoky, minty, spicy-char note. But in the mouth the fruit explodes in intensely ripe black currants and milk chocolate. The tannins are rich and softly complex. A complete Cabernet that is luscious now, but has the balance to develop, if you can keep your hands off it. " (12/2006)
Starting Bid: $350.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 1974 Clos du Val Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (90JG). John Gilman: "The fruit for this bottling came from vineyards in the Stag’s Leap district and was first released by the winery in October of 1976 for $7.50 per bottle. This was only the third vintage for Bernard Portet at Clos du Val, as the inaugural vintage here was the 1972, so this was still very early days in the history of this estate. At our tasting, the 1974 Clos du Val was not as suave and refined in profile as the superb 1978 bottlings I wrote about a few months back, with a slight coarseness to the tannins on the backend that have reportedly been part of the profile of this wine since it was released, and which remain to this day. The winemaking is just not as fine-tuned here in ’74 as would be the case a few years later, and one has to assume Monsieur Portet was still feeling his way with fruit from the Stag’s Leap district, after having been born and raised in Bordeaux. " (11/2017)
Starting Bid: $360.00

Bid on this bottle of 2014 Scarecrow Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100JD, 100RP, 96VN, 95WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The utterly perfect 2014 Scarecrow Cabernet Sauvignon (1, 500 cases) has everything one could possibly want in a Cabernet. Inky purple-colored to the rim, with a glorious nose of white flowers, crème de cassis, hints of blackberry and boysenberry, some licorice and forest floor are followed by an enormously concentrated wine with fabulous purity, a skyscraper-like mid-palate and texture, a length of nearly a minute, and stunning flavors, with flawless integration of acidity, tannin, wood and alcohol. This is a great, great wine and certainly one of the Cabernet Sauvignons of this vintage. (RP)" (12/2016)
Starting Bid: $620.00

Starting Bid: $215.00

Bid on this bottle of 2017 Carter "Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard - La BAM" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96JD, 93RP, 92VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "Even better, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Las Piedras La Bam boasts a saturated purple hue as well as a feral, wild bouquet of earthy tobacco, bouquet garni, dark chocolate, and assorted cassis and currant-like fruits. With a terrific sense of minerality, full-bodied richness and depth, and a balanced, focused, ageworthy style on the palate, it’s going to benefit from 3-5 years of bottle age and evolve gracefully for 20 years. " (01/2020)
Starting Bid: $200.00

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2006 Dunn Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94RP, 91ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley is quite a bit richer than the 2005 tasted alongside it. The 2006 shows gorgeous depth as it opens up in the glass. Dark fruit, licorice, smoke and tar are some of the notes that flesh out in this broad-shouldered Cabernet Sauvignon. A creamy, textured finish rounds things out in style. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2026. (AG)" (12/2011)
Starting Bid: $360.00

Bid on this 6-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2007 St. Clement "Oroppas" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (91WE, 90RP, 89WS) and 5-bottles of 2008 St. Clement "Oroppas" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (91RP). Of the 2007 St. Clement "Oroppas" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend,Wine Enthusiast writes: "* Cellar Selection! * Continues a string of successful bottlings of this Cabernet. The flavors are strong but subtle, suggesting blackberries and black currants, with earthier notes of dark chocolate and roasted almonds. Very good, but also pretty tannic. You’ll want to cellar this for 5-6 years to let it mellow." (12/2010)
Starting Bid: $180.00

Bid on this 2-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2007 Hall "Segassia Vineyard" Mount Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon (93RP, 93WS) and 1-bottle of 2007 Hall Diamond Mountain District Cabernet Sauvignon (94WE). Of the 2007 Hall Diamond Mountain District Cabernet Sauvignon, Wine Enthusiast writes: "A wonderfully rich, complex and age worthy Cabernet. *Cellar Selection*" (07/2010)
Starting Bid: $155.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2010 Pahlmeyer Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (95RP, 94VN, 92WS, 91ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Mocha, espresso, cloves and blackberry jam are some of many nuances that emerge from the 2010 Red Blend. A deep, rich wine, the 2010 boasts stunning aromatics, beautifully chiseled fruit and fabulous overall balance. I sense a slightly less sweet, overt style than in previous years, yet at the same time, there is plenty of richness in the glass. I suspect the 2010 will still be going strong at age 20. Today, it is flat-out gorgeous. The 2010 is 82% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Franc, 2% Petit Verdot and 1% Malbec. Anticipated maturity: 2015-2030. (AG) 95+" (12/2012)
Starting Bid: $315.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Ovid "Experiment No. R8.3" Napa Valley Red Blend. Ovid's "Experiment" bottling always changes, as the team at Ovid (you guessed it) experiments with different wines and is inspired by the characteristics of new yield. Producer tasting notes: "At Ovid, one of our original forms of experimentation was theway that we planted our vineyards in 2000. We used four different rootstocks and several grape varietals on each in order to explore how they perform on our little piece of Pritchard Hill in different growing and harvest conditions. The 2013 Experiment R8.3 wine is made from grapes grown predominantly on 3309 rootstock. 3309 is an established rootstock well regarded for its low to moderate vigor and production of smaller berries with more intense fruit flavors. Our 3309 blocks of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc are always the first to ripen—an attribute we appreciate here in Napa Valley wheregrapes are harvested right up to the first big rains.."
Starting Bid: $250.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2005 Gemstone Yountville Bordeaux Blend (95WS, 92RP, 92ST). Wine Spectator: "Ripe and juicy, with firm, intense, polished black cherry, wild berry, currant and black licorice flavors that are delightfully elegant and refined. The finish goes on and on. (JL)" (10/2008)
Starting Bid: $360.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2011 Spottswoode "Family Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96VN, 95JS, 94RP, 93DC, 91ST). Vinous: "What a pleasant surprise it is to revisit the 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon. Floral notes, gravel, herbs, rose petal and sweet red cherries infuse a classically-built, mid-weight Cabernet Sauvignon endowed with real class and personality. The tannins need time to soften, but otherwise this is an exceptional, and I do mean, exceptional, wine. (AG)" (12/2016)
Starting Bid: $390.00

Bid on this magnum of 2014 Dominus Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (1.5L) (98JS, 97JD, 97RP, 96VN, 95DC, 94WE). James Suckling: "Loads of dark tobacco aromas with blackcurrants and black olives. Boysenberries, too. Full to medium body, ultra-fine tannins and lots of flavors of smoke, dried roasted chillis, black truffles, mushrooms and fruit. Bright acidity on the finish. Sexy and subtle austerity. Alluring. Very approachable now but better in 2021. *Top 100 of 2017*" (01/2017)

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2007 Revana Family Vineyard St. Helena Cabernet Sauvignon. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Both of these Cabernet Sauvignons are soft, elegant, dark ruby/plum/garnet-colored, evolved, medium-bodied efforts with attractive notes of spice, earth, red and black currants intermixed with herbs and background oak... Heidi Barrett is the consulting winemaker and the well-known Jim Barbour is the viticultural manager. Both are identical blends of 92% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc and 3% Petit Verdot. (RP)" (12/2010)
Starting Bid: $300.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Paul Hobbs "Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard" St. Helena Cabernet Sauvignon (98JS, 98RP, 96VN, 94WS). (RP)" (03/2016)
Starting Bid: $280.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2008 Scarecrow Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 99JS, 96WS, 94VN, 93RP) in original wood. James Suckling: "Like listening to cool mellow rock 'n' roll. Extraordinary aromas of violets and dark fruits such as blueberries and currants. I can't get over the aromas here. Then it goes to minerals with just a hint of bay leaf. Full-bodied, with velvety tannins with a beautiful softness and beautifulness. I love the balance and harmony to this with bright acidity. I would drink this before the 2007. Just under 1, 000 cases of 12 but all sold in threes. Reminds me of Leoville Las Cases but with Napa brightness. Enjoy or hold for a long time." (06/2011)
Starting Bid: $1,130.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Darioush "Darius II" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94RP, 94WE, 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The top cuvée, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Darius II is a serious wine, with a fragrant nose of graphite, blackberry, cassis and hints of toast and chocolate. Full-bodied, with an expansive, savory texture and a long, pure finish, it should drink nicely for at least another 15–20 years. (RP)" (10/2016)

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Cakebread "Dancing Bear Ranch" Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (99RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Dancing Bear Ranch, a blend of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Merlot from Howell Mountain, is a superstar of the vintage. Beautiful notes of graphite, mulberries, blueberries and blackberries jump from the glass of this dense purple-colored 2012. Its full-bodied opulence, luscious texture, 45+-second finish, purity, texture and uncanny integration of all the component parts are beautiful to behold. (RP)" (10/2014)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Alpha Omega "Beckstoffer To Kalon" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, 95JS, 95VN, 95WE, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "It seems as if everyone who draws fruit off the Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard, that great valley floor site south of St. Helena near the Mondavi winery, turns out something totally prodigious. Alpha Omega has certainly done it with their 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon. The wine has notes of blackberry, pen ink, lead pencil shavings, charcoal, unsmoked cigar tobacco, and blackberries. It is huge, massive and rich, with incredible purity, balance and overall equilibrium. The wine saturates the mouth but is not heavy and shows that extraordinary, striking purity and intensity of what we all consider a world-class, great, great wine. It is approachable now, but it really won’t hit its peak for another 7-8 years, and last three decades or more. (RP)" (10/2015)

Jeb Dunnuck: "In the same mold as the La Bam, but with a touch more minerality, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Las Piedras La Verdad boasts a deep purple color as well as loads of ripe black cherry and plum fruits intermixed with notes of liquid violets, bouquet garni, and crushed rocks. Beautifully balanced and full-bodied, it has notable freshness as well as tannins." (01/2020)

Bid on this bottle of 2017 Scarecrow Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97JD, 97RP, 97VN). Vinous: "The 2017 Scarecrow Cabernet Sauvignon is stunning. Seamless on the palate, with remarkable depth and richness, the 2017 has so much to offer. Black cherry jam, blackberry, chocolate, licorice, spice and menthol build in a rich, sumptuous Cabernet Sauvignon that hits all the right notes. Best of all, the 2017 will drink well with only minimal cellaring. It is without question one of the wines of the vintage. (AG)" (01/2020)
