Dorcha Winery was created by Izidor (Dorcha) Vehovar, a 3rd generation winemaker. Intent on following a more natural/low intervention path, Dorcha uses no irrigation or herbicides in his viticulture. All grapes are hand harvested, fermentation is with native yeasts and minimal sulfites are used at bottling. The Oranza is a 50/50 blend of Traminer and Gelber Muskateller fermented on the skins for about 21 days. The wine is then pressed and racked into tank where it ages on the lees for 5 months. This is lovely orange wine with light tannic structure....

Guerila is a Demeter certified biodynamic producer on the border of Slovenia and Italy. They have a long tradition of making skin contact Rebula in the area. This particular wine sees 14 days of skin contact, ferments with indigenous yeasts and then spends 18 months in acacia wood before bottling.
