Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Morgado "Sage Ridge" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Kimberly Hatcher trained under Russel Bevan (Bevan Cellars) before founding her own winery in 2009. All while pursuing her day job as a San Francisco firefighter. Winery vineyard notes: "Perched high above lake Hennessey in the Napa Valley where Cabernet Sauvignon dominates this mountainous site. Aerial views of this vineyard give an insider’s look into the intricate patchwork of blocks on steep hillsides and terraces. Some vines are so close to the edge, you wonder, how will this survive? And yet, they thrive. A good part of that success is the soil, the dynamic climate, and the meticulous farming at this high elevation mountain vineyard."
Starting Bid: $160.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Bevan "Sugarloaf Mountain Vineyard" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (100RP, 95VN, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Another perfect wine is Bevan’s equal part blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc, the 2012 Proprietary Red Sugarloaf Mountain. Notes of unsmoked cigar tobacco, forest floor, pen ink mulberries, blackberries and spring flowers soar from this inky/purple-colored 2012. The wine possesses great intensity, remarkable unctuosity and thickness, and perfect integration of acidity, alcohol, tannin and wood. Aged in equal parts new Gamba and Darnajou barrels, there are 225 cases of this fabulous wine. Drink now-2032. (RP)" (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $360.00

Bid on this magnum of 2017 Realm "The Tempest" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (1.5L) (96JD, 96JS). James Suckling: "Beautiful blueberries and violets with tar and spice. Starting Bid: $180.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Snowden "Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Deep garnet colored, the 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve opens with wonderfully expressive notes of warm black plums, Black Forest cake, blackcurrant cordial and figs with suggestions of tobacco, dusty soil, tapenade and cedar chest plus a hint of bay leaves. The full-bodied palate is still incredibly youthful with buckets of ripe, plushly textured black fruits backed up with earth and spice box nuances, finishing long and perfumed. (LPB)" (08/2018)
Starting Bid: $180.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1984 Dominus Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (94JG, 92RP). John Gilman: "The 1984 vintage of Dominus was the first ever to be released by the estate, as Christian Moueix properly judged that the tighter and more structured 1983, which was the first wine actually vinified at the estate, would do well with a bit more bottle age in the cellars prior to release, so the 1984 was the first to find its way to market. I have always loved this vintage of Dominus and this most recent bottle was absolutely singing, offering up a deep and classy bouquet of red and black cherries, a touch of menthol, cigar smoke, a beautifully complex base of Rutherford soil, fresh herb tones and a judicious base of vanillin oak. " (05/2013)
Starting Bid: $480.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 1985 Girard "Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Wine Spectator: "Has a ripe, effusively fruity style with plenty of depth and tannin. The plum and currant flavors are well focused." (02/1990)
Starting Bid: $180.00

Established in 1972, Caymus Vineyards is one of the benchmark Cabernet Sauvignon producers in Napa Valley with an established reputation for producing some of Napa's finest red wines. Robert Parker says: "Few wineries in the world can boast such an enviable record of consistent excellence as that of Caymus." In 1975 Randall Dunn joined the winemaking team at Caymus, bringing years of experience and expertise to this already highly regarded estate.

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Spottswoode "Family Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 94DC, 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Deep garnet colored with a lingering hint of purple, the 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon comes sashaying out of the glass with provocative notions of warm cassis, blueberry compote, blackberry pie and violets with chocolate box, licorice and menthol nuances plus wafts of wilted roses, lavender and kirsch. Medium-bodied, the intensely perfumed black and blue fruit flavors glide gracefully across the palate, revealing a myriad of earth and spice accents, all framed beautifully with super ripe, fine-grained tannins and invigorating freshness, finishing very, very long. Wow. LPB)" (08/2018)
Starting Bid: $400.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2005 Pride Mountain "Reserve" Sonoma-Napa Counties Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 94WE, 93WS, 92CG, 92VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This full-bodied wine is very concentrated, with a saturated bluish/purple color and a classic nose of mocha and espresso intermixed with crème de cassis and charcoal. The finish is a good 40-45 seconds, and the wine has a remarkable vibrancy and freshness from the vintage’s acidity. This is terrific stuff to drink now and over the next 12-15 years. (RP) 96+" (06/2015)
Starting Bid: $227.00

Bid on this bottle of 2005 Shafer "Hillside Select" Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon (99RP, 95WS, 94JS, 94VN, 94W&S, 93CG). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "One of the world’s great wines and profound expressions of Cabernet Sauvignon, is the 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon Hillside Select. This wine spends more than 30 months in 100% new oak, and, year in year out, has been one of the most singular and profound examples of Cabernet Sauvignon in the world. It seems Shafer began to ratchet up performance during the 1990s, and the first decade of the 21st century has provided a treasure trove of either perfect or nearly perfect wines, including the 2001, 2002, 2004, 2005, 2007 and more recently the 2010, 2012 and, in all likelihood, the 2013. (RP)" (06/2015)

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2009 Arietta "H Block - Hudson Vineyard" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (91VN). Vinous: "Full medium ruby. High-pitched aromas of blueberry, black pepper and bitter chocolate; distinct hints of a cooler summer. Juicy, primary wine with excellent energy to its dark berry, spice, bitter chocolate and espresso flavors. Not at all a thick style but boasts sneaky density and depth of texture. Evolving slowly and still rather unevolved, this wine conveys an impression of firm acidity that should keep it alive for many more years. (ST) 91+" (07/2019)
Starting Bid: $275.00

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 1995 Newton "Unfiltered" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (92RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Tannic, but classically constructed, the 1995 Cabernet Sauvignon Unfiltered offers rich cassis fruit intermixed with loamy soil scents, pain grille, and floral notes. Long in the mouth, with an expansive texture, impeccable symmetry, and fine overall balance, this wine finishes with a tannic clout, as well as outstanding ripeness and presence in the mouth. It should be long-lived, but will be ready to drink at an early age. (RP)" (12/1998)
Starting Bid: $171.67

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 1990 Clos du Val Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. For well over 40 years, Clos du Val has been making wines according to their own code. These days, they call it "Vindependence". But when John Portet, Clos du Val co-founder chose this area in the Napa Valley in 1972, it was just called, "making good wine from good grapes". Clos du Val released its first wine in 1974, and the winery's 1972 Cab was among the six California Cabs featured in the Judgement of Paris tasting.
Starting Bid: $245.11

Bid on this 3-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 1982 Freemark Abbey "Bosché" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (93WS), 1-bottle of 1983 Freemark Abbey "Bosche" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, and 1-bottle of 1984 Freemark Abbey "Bosché" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon . Of the 1982 Freemark Abbey "Bosché" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Wine Spectator writes: "No tasting note given. *Cellar Selection*" (05/1986)

Bid on this 2-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2008 Bevan "Ontogeny" Oakville Bordeaux Blend (97RP, 93WS) and 1-bottle of 2012 Amuse Bouche "Vin Perdu" Napa Valley Red Blend (91RP, 90VN). Of the 2008 Bevan "Ontogeny" Oakville Bordeaux Blend, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "The stunning 2008 Ontogeny Proprietary Red (a blend of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot) boasts an opaque purple color along with notes of kirsch, blueberries, boysenberries, mocha and subtle smoke. Expansive on the palate as well as opulent and fleshy with tremendous fruit, depth and richness, there is some tannin lurking in the background, but it is largely concealed by the luxurious fruit component. Already showy and complex, this stunning red can be drunk over the next decade. One of the major fruit sources for Bevan has been the Showket Vineyard in Napa, which was recently sold to Peter Michael. (RP)" (12/2010)
Starting Bid: $125.00

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 1998 Harrison Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2003 Anderson's Conn Valley "Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Since 1990, Cabernet Sauvignon has an enviable track record at Anderson’s Conn Valley Vineyard. Moreover, they should last for 20-30 or more years. My instincts suggest 2002 may be one of the finest Cabernets yet produced here, but the 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve is better every time I re-taste it. Its smoky, gamy, cedary, creme de cassis, tobacco, and leather-scented bouquet is Pauillac-like. Full-bodied with abundant ripe, silky tannin, this gorgeous effort may not be as seamless as the 2002, but it should last nearly as long…at least two decades. (RP)" (12/2006)
Starting Bid: $80.00

Bid on this bottle of 2017 Colgin "Tychson Hill Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98JD, 98JS, 98RP, 96VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The berries at Tychson Hill vineyard were very small in 2017. “This wine totally required baby steps with the extraction, ” said winemaker Allison Tauziet. Very deep purple-black in color, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Tychson Hill Vineyard leaps from the glass with vibrant black cherries, warm blackberries and blackcurrant scents with hints of violets, dark chocolate, lavender and camphor plus a fragrant waft of rose hip tea. Medium to full-bodied, the structure is taut, restraining all the tightly packed, energetic black fruit layers, with a wonderfully fine-grained texture and bags of freshness, finishing long and mineral laced. Still very tightly wound, this one needs time, but it should handsomely reward patience. (LPB)" (10/2019)
Starting Bid: $380.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2005 ZD "Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (91RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve designation, which spent 34 months in American oak, is a bigger, richer, fuller-throttle wine, with a denser purple color, slightly more alcohol (14.7%), nicely integrated American wood, loads of blackcurrant and blackberry fruit, and a well-textured, thick, juicy mouthfeel and finish. (RP)" (06/2015)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 1990 Girard Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. According to Robert Parker: "A terrific offering from Girard. The 1990 Cabernet Sauvignon-Estate exhibits a saturated, opaque, dark ruby/purple color, an unevolved, but gloriously ripe, rich nose of cassis fruit and vanillin, and rich, full-bodied, tannic, backward flavors that reveal superb concentration and firm tannin. Put this wine away for 4-5 years and drink it over the next two decades." (10/93)
Starting Bid: $120.00

Bid on this magnum of 2018 Realm "The Tempest" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (1.5L) (97JS, 96JD, 96VN, 94RP). James Suckling: "Rich, intense aromas of cassis, stewed blackberries, blueberry jam, cloves, black olives and cocoa. It’s full-bodied and mouth-filling with firm, velvety tannins. Impressive depth and fruit extraction. Mostly merlot. Drink from 2022, but already a beauty." (12/2020)
Starting Bid: $200.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2007 Quivet "Kenefick Ranch" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Winemaker Mike Smith launched Quivet Cellars with partners Duane Mason, John Brooks III, and Paul Mason with the goal of making high-quality, small-production Napa wines. They are known for their single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon made in a lush, hedonistic style that still delivers nuance and elegance. The fruit is sourced from a very steep, hand-terraced vineyard in the Mayacamas Mountains. Because of their small distribution, these wines are hard to come by, so snatch them up when you get the chance!
Starting Bid: $200.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2015 Spottswoode "Family Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100JD, 100RP, 97WE, 96VN, 95JS, 95WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon is deep garnet-purple colored with a mind-blowingly gorgeous nose that defies words: warm cassis, red roses, sandalwood, Indian spices, crushed rocks, menthol and iron ore with waft of lilacs and truffles. Medium to full-bodied with a rock-solid frame of super-ripe, grainy tannins and tons of freshness, it finishes incredibly long and remains incredibly provocative. (LPB)" (10/2018)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2015 Scarecrow Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 99RP, 98JD, 98VN, 96WS) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Produced from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon leaps from the glass with gorgeous floral notes of red roses and lilacs over a core of black and red cherries, crushed black currants and baking spices plus hints of iron ore and dusty earth. The voluptuous, rounded, soft and sexy fruit slinks across the palate with incredible seamlessness and expression. Make no mistake, it is full-bodied and decadently powerful, but with a myriad of aromatic nuances, finishing long, layered and boldly perfumed. (LPB)" (10/2017)
Starting Bid: $1,470.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Scarecrow Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 100JD, 100RP, 98DC, 98VN) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Scarecrow is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from two acres of old vines planted in 1945 by John Daniel and dry farmed. Very deep garnet-purple colored, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon comes sashaying out of the glass with tantalizing notions of violets, lavender, Black Forest cake, mulberries, tobacco leaf and fragrant earth with a core of warm cassis, kirsch, Chinese five spice, rose hip tea and cedar chest. The palate is full-bodied and super concentrated yet possesses great energy with vibrant red and black fruits and loads of mineral accents, framed by very ripe, super fine-grained tannins and fantastic freshness, finishing very long with the most incredible perfume. Hedonistically, undeniably and deliciously perfect. (LPB)" (10/2018)
Starting Bid: $1,505.00

Bid on this bottle of 2015 Realm "The Absurd" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (100JD, 100RP, 95JS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Composed of 88% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Merlot and 6% Cabernet Franc, the singular, absolutely compelling 2015 The Absurd opens with a seriously intense black currant cordial and plum preserves core, slowly revealing cedar chest, mincemeat pie, potpourri and spice box hints plus a waft of chocolate-covered cherries. The full-bodied, concentrated palate is packed with opulent black fruits and baking spice layers, featuring a rock-solid backbone of tight-grained tannins and just enough freshness to lift and tantalize on the long, seductive finish. Only 250 cases were made. (LPB)" (10/2017)
Starting Bid: $1,000.00

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Realm "The Bard" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (100JD, 99RP, 94VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "Starting with the 2012 The Bard, this incredible blend of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Petit Verdot comes from a number of great sites including To Kalon, Dr. Crane, Fortuna, and Weitz. It’s just now starting to show some maturity and has a wonderfully complex bouquet of blackcurrants, dried spices, chocolate, cedarwood, and smoke tobacco. This carries to a full-bodied, seamless, sensationally textured 2012 with sweet tannins, no hard edges, and a heavenly finish. It actually reminds me slightly of the 2009 Haut Bailly!" (08/2020)
Starting Bid: $200.00

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 1990 Harrison Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Wine Spectator: "Young, ripe and intense, with a tight, firm core of currant, cherry and spicy oak flavors. Raw and unevolved now, but shows intensity and depth (Web-1993)"
Starting Bid: $147.86

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Far Niente Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (96DC, 94RP, 94WE, 93VN, 92JS). Decanter: "The justly admired Oakville winery has been a Napa Valley fixture since 1979, when it was founded by the late Gil Nickel. From the outset the winemaker has been Dirk Hampson, though today he keeps a knowing eye on the winery’s young winemaking team. But his steady presence, as well as that of the Nickel family, has ensured a consistency of style over the decades. Today all wines are estate-grown, and the vineyards are close to Martha’s Vineyard and other iconic sites. This wine is aged for 17 months in more than 80% new oak, and is always rich and polished."
Starting Bid: $105.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2018 Rivers-Marie Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94JD, 94VN). Vinous: "The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley) is an outrageously beautiful wine. Readers who aren't able to find the vineyard designates won't be giving up in indulging in this hedonistic, voluptuous Cabernet from proprietors Thomas Rivers Brown and Genevieve Marie Welsh. Layers of blackberry jam, chocolate, cloves and licorice build as this sumptuous Cabernet shows off its curves. The 2018 is not exactly subtle, but it sure is gorgeous. I loved it. (AG)" (01/2021)
Starting Bid: $124.88

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Bevan "Wildfoote Vixen Block" Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon (97WS, 95RP, 95VN). Wine Spectator: "A remarkably seductive effort, delightfully creamy and chocolaty, plush and layered, with a firm, rich, potent core of dense, earth-laced currant and blackberry flavors. Firm cedary oak is evident, gliding along gracefully on the finish. *Highly Recommended* (JL)" (05/2015)
Starting Bid: $270.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Realm "Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97RP, 96JS, 94VN, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon emerges from another first-growth vineyard that was acquired by Andy Beckstoffer in 1993, and planted with multiple clones of Cabernet Sauvignon and a small amount of Cabernet Franc. The original vineyard was planted in 1868, but the present one consists of nearly 90 acres. The 2012 reveals incredible complexity and density with notes of Christmas fruitcake, baking spices, licorice, crème de cassis and forest floor. Full-bodied with the vintage’s opulence and drama, this 100% Cabernet Sauvignon was fashioned from Clones 4 and 337. (RP) 97+" (10/2014)

Bid on this bottle of 1984 Ridge Vineyards "York Creek" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. This is rich, structured Cab from an iconic winery and an outstanding vintage. In 1984, winemaker Paul Draper bottled the wine several months earlier than usual to capture the fruit and to create a balance with the wine's other components. Starting Bid: $117.00

Bid on this bottle of 1974 Heitz Cellar "Martha's Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, 97JG, 92JD). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "I had this wine twice over a period of thirty days, rating it an astounding 99 and 98 points. A monumental California Cabernet Sauvignon, it appears to have approached its plateau of maturity but should easily last for 20-25 more years. There is no rust, amber, or brown to the saturated dark purple color. The spectacular, huge, Mouton-Rothschild-like nose of mint, cassis, lead pencil, and toast is remarkably youthful. Staggeringly concentrated, this full-bodied, super-rich wine possesses moderate tannin, fresh, lively acidity, and a blockbuster, rich, fleshy finish. This is a monumental effort! (RP)" (08/1994)
Starting Bid: $1,070.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2015 Rivers-Marie Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (93VN, 91WS). Vinous: "The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley) is a gorgeous entry-level wine. Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Screaming Eagle Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 100JS, 100RP, 100VN, 98DC, 98JD) in original wood. Vinous: "The 2016 Screaming Eagle is a positively stunning wine. An intense bouquet gives way to a wine of explosive energy and huge textural depth. Graphite, crushed rocks, menthol, sage and dark spice open up gradually in this reticent, brooding Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon. The 2016 is a towering, statuesque wine of the very highest level. That is the good news. The slightly less good news is that it will need a number of years in bottle to be at its very best. I wouldn't dream of touching a bottle anytime soon. The 2016 literally does scream, with tons of varietal Cabernet aromatics, flavors and structural drive. In a word: magnificent! (AG)" (12/2018)
