Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2015 Morlet "Mon Chevalier" Knights Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98JD, 97RP, 96VN, 93WS). Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Mon Chevalier, which includes no Merlot (it’s 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Cabernet Franc, and the rest Malbec and Petit Verdot) is a black fruited, powerful 2015 that just fills the mouth with fruit. Blueberries, plums, violets, chocolate, and savory herb notes all emerge from this full-bodied, big, meaty, licorice-laced effort that, like all of Luc’s wines, stays balanced, graceful and pure. Drink it anytime over the coming 25+ years." (06/2018)
Starting Bid: $233.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2015 Bevan "Tin Box" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (97RP, 95JD, 95VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Tin Box Vineyard gives a very deep garnet-purple color and nose of dried herbs, red currant jelly and underbrush over a core of plum preserves, crème de cassis and fungi with a waft of mossy bark. Medium-bodied with beautiful elegance and freshness in the mouth, it has a firm backbone of grainy tannins and great freshness, finishing long and earthy. Needs time but should age fantastically! (LPB) 97+" (12/2017)
Starting Bid: $306.00

Bid on this 2-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2014 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (99RP, 96VN, 94WE, 94WS) and 1-bottle of 2015 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (99JD, 97DC, 96JS, 96RP, 96VN, 96WE, 94WS). Of the 2014 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "Lighter and lifted, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon shows a sweet frame of fruit with elegant French oak and baking spice scents with vanilla, nutmeg and cardamom that sways with an impressive aromatic array of cedar and cigar box, resinous purple flowers, juicy plum and chocolate ganache in the glass. Full-bodied, the wine is balanced and seamless, offering precision and focus across the mid-palate with fine-grained tannins that continue to sway with excellence before delivering a long, drawn-out finish that's simply stunning. This will be able to age for more than a decade in the cellar. (AM)" (08/2021)

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2014 Sherwin Family Spring Mountain District Cabernet Sauvignon (93JD). Jeb Dunnuck: "From a site on Spring Mountain and made from 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Merlot and 3% Cabernet Franc, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon offers a rich, powerful style (especially for a 2014) as well as classic notes of black currants, scorched earth, and chocolate. This full-bodied, deep, beautifully concentrated Cabernet needs 3-4 years of bottle age but is going to cruise for 15+ years. It’s terrific stuff." (12/2017)
Starting Bid: $300.00

Bid on this bottle of 2004 Shafer "Hillside Select" Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon (100WE, 99RP, 96VN, 96WS). Wine Enthusiast: "A perfect score has to be considered in the context of its region. Shafer’s 2004 Hillside Select is tremendous as a Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon that competes with its peers at the highest levels. It’s always a fabulous wine, but in warm 2004, Shafer’s amphitheater vineyard sheltered the grapes, ripening them to perfection yet protecting the “iron fist in a velvet glove” structure that André Tchelistcheff defined as Stags Leap. This 100% Cabernet is tremendous in cassis, black currant and mocha flavors, and the 100% new French oak provides perfect additions of smoke and caramel." (03/2009)
Starting Bid: $260.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2015 Sarah Francis "Beckstoffer Georges III - Vineyard" Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon.
Starting Bid: $450.00

Bid on this bottle of 2005 Schrader "Beckstoffer To Kalon CCS" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 95WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon CCS (14.6% alcohol and 175 cases) is absolutely out of this world. I have given more perfect scores to this cuvée than any of the other Schrader wines. Made from Clone 4 with slight additions of Clone 6 and 337, it is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, like all these wines from the Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard. This wine has a glorious nose of licorice, cedar wood, vanillin, creme de cassis, blackberry and graphite. Super-rich and velvety, with sweet, supple tannins, an opulent full-bodied mouthfeel, and a skyscraper-like finish, this prodigious wine is drinking beautifully, and just now coming into its adolescence. It should go on for another 20-25 years. (RP)" (06/2015)
Starting Bid: $400.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2011 Vérité "Le Désir" Sonoma County Bordeaux Blend (94ST, 93VN, 92RP). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "(14.1% alcohol; 54% cabernet franc, 36% merlot and 5% each cabernet sauvignon and malbec): Bright saturated ruby. Extremely dark aromas of crushed blueberry, violet, bitter chocolate, licorice and camphor. Peppery and precise but not green, with outstanding dark fruit and violet intensity accentuated by an electric impression of energy. This seriously tannic Le Desir will need at least eight years of cellaring before it approaches its plane of peak drinkability. (ST)" (05/2014)
Starting Bid: $255.56

Bid on this bottle of 1997 Caymus "Special Selection" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (93ST). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Bright ruby. Cassis, violet and lightly tarry, spicy oak. Ripe, dense and very concentrated; thick and deep. Not at all overly sweet or dominated by the wood. Has superb material and verve. Finishes very long, with thoroughly ripe tannins. The finest vintage for this wine in a long time, and one that avoids the excesses of (American) oak that have plagued so many recent vintages. (ST)" (12/2000)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Screaming Eagle Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 100JD, 100JS, 99DC, 98VN, 97RP) in original wood. James Suckling: "Breathtaking aromas of blueberry, wet earth, black truffle, vine bark and lavender undertones. Full-bodied, yet tight and compressed with fabulous savory and dark fruit flavors. It lasts for minutes on the finish. The classicism in this wine is second to none. Incredible subtlety. Lovely austerity. Beauty in simplicity. Glorious to taste, yet a wine for decades ahead." (09/2016)
Starting Bid: $6,900.00

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Fairchild Estate "Sigaro Vineyard" St. Helena Cabernet Sauvignon (94VN, 93RP). Vinous: "A dark, sumptuous beauty, the 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Sigaro has developed nicely over the last year. Savory, floral and mineral notes add nuance to the intense, racy fruit in this voluptuous Cabernet Sauvignon. A creamy, textured finish laced with hints of iron, sage and anise rounds things out beautifully. The 2012 isn't quite as explosive as it was last year most likely the result of its bottling a few months before this tasting. Drink through 2027. (AG)" (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $100.00

Bid on this bottle of 2009 Stag's Leap Wine Cellars "SLV" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (93W&S, 91RP, 90CG). Wine & Spirits: "The finesse of Stags Leap District tannins is at the center of this wine, buoying pure cherry fruit from the initial scent through to a lasting finish. This is firm and vinous, with a depth and breadth that makes it a strong candidate for cellaring ten years or more. A graceful vintage of S.L.V. " (02/2013)
Starting Bid: $92.00

Bid on this bottle of 2017 Myriad "Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard - Elysian" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97JD, 94RP, 94VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "Certainly, one of the wines of the vintage, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard Elysian comes from a first growth site outside of St. Helena and is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon brought up in new barrels. It has that classic earthy, gravelly minerality that’s the hallmark of this terroir as well a full-bodied, concentrated, yet backward vibe on the palate. The tannins are sensational, it has incredible purity of fruit, and it’s packed with potential. 97+" (01/2020)
Starting Bid: $145.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2017 Outpost "True Vineyard" Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (96JD, (93-95RP), 94JS, 94VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "The best blocks of this vineyard suffered due to the heat in the vintage, so this includes more fruit from the deeper soils, hence the wine is more plush and forward, yet no less impressive, and has tons of ripe dark fruit, dark chocolate, roasted herbs, and underbrush-like aromas and flavors. With full-bodied richness, a powerful, mouthfilling texture, and sweet tannins, it’s a brilliant 2017 I’d be thrilled to have in the cellar. Drink bottles any time over the coming 20+ years." (01/2020)
Starting Bid: $240.00

Bid on this magnum of 2002 Shafer "Hillside Select" Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (100RP, 97WE, 97WS, 95W&S, 94DC, 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "In contrast to the more linear, structured, but massive 2001, the 2002 Shafer Cabernet Sauvignon Hillside Select is pure fruit-bomb material, but stunningly proportioned, beautifully pure, with notes of melted chocolate, blackcurrant jam, sweet black cherries, licorice, camphor and charcoal. Very full-bodied, like the 2001, but much more lavishly fruited, it is more accessible and hedonistically, as well as intellectually, satisfying. If the 2001 is the long-distance runner, this comes across more like a middle-distancer. It had performed fabulously well since it was released by the winery, and even though it’s still an adolescent in terms of its evolution, this wine is a head-turner in wine tastings, and a spectacular effort from Napa. (RP)" (12/2014)

Bid on this bottle of 2008 Groth Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (94WE, 92JS). Wine Enthusiast: "Dazzling. Easily the best Groth Cabernet in many years, dry, full-bodied and crazily rich in blackberries, cherries, tobacco and new oak. The ripe, sweet fruit is held in check by brisk acidity and firm tannins, resulting in an exciting tension." (02/2012)
Starting Bid: $51.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2016 Penultimate (Promontory) Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend.
Starting Bid: $600.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1975 Heitz Cellar "Fay" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94JG). John Gilman: "It had been five years since I last had a bottle of the 1975 Fay Vineyard bottling of cabernet sauvignon from the Heitz family, but in this last year I have had the good fortune to drink the wine on three occasions and found it to be stellar on each visit. The deep and very pure nose offers up a still fairly youthful mélange of red and black cherries, chipotle peppers, cigar smoke, a touch of red curry, lead pencil, petroleum jelly and a lovely base of soil tones. On the palate the wine is deep, pure and full-bodied, with a beautiful core of vivid fruit, plenty of Rutherford dust soil tones, still a touch of tannin and a long, tangy and perfectly balanced finish that closes with excellent grip and complexity. A classic wine that time never seems to touch- perhaps due to its thirteen percent alcohol level? 94+" (08/2015)
Starting Bid: $770.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2010 Jones Family Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94RP, 92ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The estate’s 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate is more typical of the year in its blue and black fruit, violets, asphalt, graphite and pencil shavings. Here, too, there is considerable energy and pure minerality to back up the fruit. Graphite, tar and savory herbs add a measure of gravitas on the deeply resonant, pure finish. This is another fabulous, exciting wine from Jones Family. (AG)" (12/2012)
Starting Bid: $420.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Cliff Lede Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon. From the winery: "Exceptional high-elevation vineyards in the Howell Mountain appellation produce intensely concentrated grapes for this wine. Soils are volcanic in origin and consist of two main types; the first is decomposed volcanic ash called tufa, and the second is red volcanic rock and clay that is high in iron. Both are nutrient poor, which stresses the vines, producing intense and structured wines from small clusters and berries. The altitude, climate, and soils combine to create a classic mountain Cabernet Sauvignon with incredible concentration, texture, and structure."
Starting Bid: $146.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2009 Vérité "La Muse" Sonoma County Bordeaux Blend (96RP, 96VN, 95ST). Vinous: "The 2009 La Muse is a rich, sumptuous wine bursting with dark plums, black, cherries, graphite, espresso, spices and licorice. It shows gorgeous balance from start to finish. Persistent veins of minerality frame the long, beautifully articulate, creamy finish. This is a deceptively accessible wine today, but there is so much underlying power and sheer structure that I will not be surprised if it shuts down in the bottle. The 2009 is 86% Merlot, 9% Cabernet Franc and 5% Malbec. (AG)" (02/2012)
Starting Bid: $331.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2015 Boich "Beckstoffer Georges III Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (93JS). James Suckling: "Herbal liqueur, dried tobacco, ivy, dried lavender and blackcurrant compote. The palate's tight and nicely interwoven amidst firm, structured tannins. Full-bodied with lots of plush fruit, but it remains balanced." (05/2018)
Starting Bid: $240.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Screaming Eagle Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 100JS, 100RP, 100VN, 98DC, 98JD) in original wood. Vinous: "The 2016 Screaming Eagle is a positively stunning wine. An intense bouquet gives way to a wine of explosive energy and huge textural depth. Graphite, crushed rocks, menthol, sage and dark spice open up gradually in this reticent, brooding Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon. The 2016 is a towering, statuesque wine of the very highest level. That is the good news. The slightly less good news is that it will need a number of years in bottle to be at its very best. I wouldn't dream of touching a bottle anytime soon. The 2016 literally does scream, with tons of varietal Cabernet aromatics, flavors and structural drive. In a word: magnificent! (AG)" (12/2018)
Starting Bid: $7,425.00

Bid on this bottle of 2016 Sarah Francis "Beckstoffer Georges III - Vineyard" Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon.
Starting Bid: $200.00

Bid on this 4-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2013 Caymus "Special Selection" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95WS, 92JS), 1-bottle of 2014 Caymus "Special Selection" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (91WS, 90WE), 1-bottle of 2015 Caymus "Special Selection" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95WS), and 1-bottle of 2016 Caymus "Special Selection" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95WS). Of the 2013 Caymus "Special Selection" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Wine Spectator writes: "This zeroes in on a rich, hedonistic core of wild berry, blackberry, plum and currant flavors, with a graceful, elegant mouthfeel and supple, caressing tannins. The long and powerful yet refined aftertaste keeps reverberating fruit generosity while maintaining Cabernet's strength of personality. *No. 44 of the Top 100 Wines of 2016, Collectibles* (JL)" (10/2016)
Starting Bid: $786.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2013 Forman Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97VN, 96DC, 95RP, 94JS, 92JG). Vinous: "A totally dazzling wine, Ric Forman's 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon is easily one of the wines of the vintage. Today, the 2013 is dense, powerful and explosive, with fabulous energy and tons of sheer intensity. Graphite, smoke, tobacco and layers of dark-fleshed fruit all open up in the glass. This is the first vintage to incorporate a dollop of Malbec. The 2013 has just been bottled. I will not be surprised at all if it merits a higher rating at some point in the future. Even better from bottle than it was from barrel, Ric Forman's 2013 is a super-classic, old-school Napa Cabernet to treasure for the next three decades. Best of all, Forman's Cabernet is probably the single greatest value in Napa Valley Cabernet. (AG) 97+" (10/2015)
Starting Bid: $350.00

Bid on this bottle of 2007 Harlan Estate Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (100RP, 98VN, 97JS, 97ST, 96WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The prodigious 2007 Harlan Estate reminds me of a hypothetical blend of the 2002 with a touch of the controversial 1997. Dense plum/purple-colored with sweet aromas of barbecue smoke, blueberries, blackberries, cassis, licorice, hot rocks and subtle oak, it is a splendidly opulent, pure wine with a skyscraper-like texture as well as stunningly deep fruit that expands gracefully across the palate. The finish lasts nearly a full minute. Because of its overwhelming richness and sweet tannins, this brilliant wine seems to be approachable now, but I suspect further nuances and complexity will emerge after 4-5 years in the bottle. (RP)" (12/2010)
Starting Bid: $1,050.00

Bid on this bottle of 2017 Greer Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon. A great location in the heart of Napa Valley gives the Greer Vineyard a host of top-flight neighbors: Rubicon, Scarecrow, and Phelps, to name just a few. But this small family winery doesn't rely solely upon their location, having enlisted well-regarded winemaker Aaron Pott (formerly of Quintessa) to craft the wine. Aaron has done his job so well that Greer has become a hard wine to purchase, selling out their small-production every vintage soon after release via their mailing list.
Starting Bid: $110.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2014 Quilceda Creek "Galitzine Vineyard" Red Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 95VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The finest vintage ever for this cuvée, the utterly spellbinding 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Galitzine Vineyard is 100% Red Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon that was brought up in new barrels. Slightly deeper and richer than the Columbia Valley Cabernet, its deep ruby/purple color is followed by a smorgasbord of graphite, crushed violets, crushed rocks, cassis and dark chocolate. With incredible richness, ultra-fine tannin, no hard edges and a stacked mid-palate, give this crazy good red 2-3 years of cellaring and enjoy over the following two decades! Bravo to the team at Quilceda! (JD)" (06/2017)
Starting Bid: $435.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2016 Orin Swift "Mercury Head" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95RP, 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Aged 18 months in 53% new French oak, the deep garnet-purple colored 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Mercury Head delivers expressive notes of blackcurrant pastilles, preserved plums and chocolate-covered cherries with hints of eucalyptus, cigar box and fragrant earth. Full-bodied with a firm frame of ripe, grainy tannins and a refreshing line, it has a fantastic core of expressive fruit, finishing long and minty. (LPB)" (01/2019)
Starting Bid: $510.00

Bid on this bottle of 2002 Spottswoode "Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 94DC, 93VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "In 2002 very small yields produced only about 3, 000 cases at 14.7% natural alcohol and a blend of 94% Cabernet Sauvignon and 6% Cabernet Franc. This wine is going from strength to strength since I first tasted it prior to bottling. Now a perfect wine, the incredible perfume of blueberries, black raspberries and cassis, along with white flowers and camphor is extraordinarily fragrant and intense. That is easily matched by the magnificent full-bodied richness and compellingly layered mouthfeel of this wine that is rich, full-bodied and a still youthful vintage that remains capable of another 25-30 years of cellaring. (RP)" (08/2016)
Starting Bid: $225.00

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Jack Quinn "Agave Rose Vineyards" Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon (94VN, 93RP). Vinous: "The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Agave Rose Vineyards from Jack Quinn is fabulous. A rich, explosive wine, the 2012 captures the essence of the year in its racy, voluptuous fruit and enveloping personality. Raspberry jam, spices, flowers and cinnamon meld into the super-expressive, pliant finish. Winemaker Benoit Touquette has done a fabulous job with the 2012. This gem is as good as it gets for the money in Napa Valley. Quite surprisingly, Jack Quinn remains a real insiders' wine, although I can't imagine that will be the case for too much longer. (AG)" (12/2014)
Starting Bid: $107.00

Bid on this bottle of 1999 Harlan Estate Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (96WE, 95VN, 95WS, 93DC, 92RP). Wine Enthusiast: "An exceptional wine. Fragrant, with plenty of plum, black cherry, cedar and spice aromas. On the palate, it’s silky smooth, elegant and fresh, yet packed with complex layers of blackberry, cassis, chocolate, coffee, anise, sage, thyme and cherry flavors. Marked by an exquisite textural elegance and harmonious balance, it displays a fine blend of firm, supple tannins and appropriate acidty that support great length on the finish." (07/2003)
Starting Bid: $725.00

Bid on this 4-bottle tasting lot in original wood; including 1-bottle of 2013 Schrader "Beckstoffer Las Piedras - LPV" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97JS, 94RP, 94WS) and 3-bottles of 2013 Schrader "Beckstoffer To Kalon - RBS" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (99JS, 98RP). Of the 2013 Schrader "Beckstoffer To Kalon - RBS" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, James Suckling writes: "This is shows complex aromas of chili, red tile and red currant aromas. Full-bodied, dense and powerful. It is so intense and rich yet remains agile and fresh. Austere tannins give this wine form and tension. Lively and captivating. Beautiful now but be patient. " (05/2016)
Starting Bid: $870.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Robert Foley Napa Valley Claret (96RP, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Foley’s top wine is the inky/purple-colored 2012 Claret, a blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Merlot and 3% Petit Verdot. It ratchets up the level of concentration, offering a big, sweet bouquet of white chocolate, smoky oak, espresso beans, licorice, forest floor, blackberries and cassis. Viscous and thick with oodles of fruit and glycerin, and a long, dense, 50-second finish, this is a killer expression of primarily Cabernet Sauvignon. (RP)" (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $175.00

Bid on this magnum of 2000 Viader "V" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (1.5L) (92WS). Wine Spectator: "This new red from Viader accents leathery-spicy currant and blackberry flavors, and holds to a tight focus, finishing with firm, detailed tannins. *Collectible* (JL)" (12/2002)
Starting Bid: $135.00

Bid on this bottle of 2018 Bevan "Dr. Crane Vineyard" St. Helena Cabernet Sauvignon (100JD, 100RP, 96VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard was aged for 19 months in French oak barrels, 100% new. Deep garnet-purple colored, it sashays out of the glass with flamboyant scents of redcurrant jelly, Black Forest cake, blackcurrant pastilles and rose oil with suggestions of cast-iron pan, pencil lead and tilled soil plus a waft of fragrant earth. Full-bodied, rich and concentrated with firm, exquisitely ripe, fine-grained tannins and seamless freshness, it delivers an incredible mineral and perfumed red fruit firework display finish. Fans of Dr. Crane are going to LOVE this expression, masterfully crafted by Russell Bevan—an absolute must-try! (LPB) " (02/2021)
Starting Bid: $382.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2010 Vérité "La Muse" Sonoma County Bordeaux Blend (95VN, 94RP). Vinous: "An exotic, nuanced beauty, the 2010 La Muse offers up an exotic concoction of white truffle, cassis, cloves. Captivating and totally beguiling, the 2010 takes over all of the senses and never lets up. A rush of blue and black-hued fruit flows through to the enveloping, deeply resonant finish. The 2010 shuts down in the glass, so it is best left alone in bottle for a number of years. What a gorgeous wine this is, especially if readers can be patient. (AG)" (02/2014)
Starting Bid: $510.00

Bid on this bottle of 2003 Hundred Acre "Kayli Morgan" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, 93ST, 92VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Medium to deep garnet colored, the 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon Kayli Morgan Vineyard opens with wonderfully earthy, savory notes of truffles, black olives, charcuterie and fertile loam with a core of blackberry preserves, mincemeat pie and blueberry compote with hints of Indian spices, cardamom and scorched earth. The full-bodied palate is completely jam-packed with black fruit preserves and spicy nuances, with a very long, savory finish. (LPB)" (12/2018)
Starting Bid: $355.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2016 Quintessa Rutherford Bordeaux Blend (98JS, 97RP, 96JD). James Suckling: "Phenomenal aromas of crushed berries, forest fruit, mushrooms and iron. Medium to full body, with layers of soft and refined tannins that follow through to a beautiful finish. Extremely long and refined. This shows depth and structure with balance and harmony. Hard not to open the bottle now and drink it, but it appears to be closing down now. " (02/2019)
Starting Bid: $310.00

Bid on this bottle of 1964 Beaulieu Vineyard "Georges de Latour Private Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. One of California's most famous wines, this is a delicious bottle of history made during the reign of the Maestro, André Tchelistcheff. From wine writer Richard Jennings in "Bricked medium red violet color with lots of floating sediment; menthol, ripe red currant, mushroom nose; mature, tart red currant, iodine, menthol palate; medium-plus finish." 91+ (01/2013)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Scarecrow Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 100RP, 97VN, 95WS) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The prodigious 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, including fruit from some of the oldest Cabernet vines still in existence in Napa. This full-bodied classic displays notes of forest floor, earth, crème de cassis, blackberry liqueur, licorice and some pen ink. It is dense, full-bodied, prodigiously rich, massive in intensity, yet relatively light on its feet. This great ballerina of a wine has extraordinary ripeness but pulls back from the edge before going over the top. There are 1, 000 cases of this classic, which should age effortlessly for 30+ years. (RP)" (12/2015)
Starting Bid: $1,910.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2016 Anthem "Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard" St. Helena Cabernet Sauvignon (94JD, 94RP, 92JS, 92VN). Bid on this bottle of 2013 Bond "Pluribus" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (100RP, 99JS, 97VN, 96DC, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Pluribus is the finest wine I’ve tasted from this vineyard to date, capturing the vintage’s extraordinary purity and richness, with a multidimensional mouthfeel and incredible notes of blue and black fruits, charcoal, graphite and white flowers. This profound effort should hit its prime in another 5-10 years and evolve for 30-40 or more. (RP)" (10/2016)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1970 Charles Krug "Vintage Selection" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. An absolutely superb example of mature California Cabernet Sauvignon. Not everyone is aware that Charles Krug was one of a handful of "First Growth" wineries in the 1950s and '60s, producing some of the best red wine in California's history. Founded in 1861, the Charles Krug Winery was the first in Napa Valley, sold to Cesare and Rosa Mondavi in 1943. When Cesare died in 1959, their sons took the helm, Robert as General Manager and Peter as Vice President. In 1966, Peter took over the role as President and Robert moved on to start his own winery in Oakville.
Starting Bid: $285.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2016 Continuum "Sage Mountain Vineyard" St. Helena Bordeaux Blend (100JS, 100VN, 93WS). Vinous: "The 2016 Proprietary Red Wine Sage Mountain Vineyard may very well be the single greatest vintage made here thus far. It is quite simply a stunning wine and a towering achievement from the Mondavi family. Powerful, ample and sweeping in stature, the 2016 boasts breathtaking intensity in all of its dimensions. I see the pure, vibrant fruit of the 2013, but with more finessed tannins that add to the wine's feeling of real sensuality. Bright, precise and finely sculpted with remarkable persistence and perfectly integrated tannins, the 2016 is positively stellar - not to mention one of the wines of the vintage. (AG)" (01/2020)

Bid on this magnum of 2002 Harlan Estate Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (1.5L) (100RP, 99WE, 98ST, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The extraordinary Harlan Estate, which I awarded 100 points seven years ago, offers no justifiable reason to doubt its perfect score. It is still a baby, with an inky purple color and notes of smoky camphor intermixed with creme de cassis, Asian soy and a hint of cedar beginning to emerge as well as some espresso and subtle damp forest floor notes. The wine has awesome intensity, a full-bodied mouthfeel, a skyscraper-like texture, and a finish that goes on for close to a minute. This is a perfect wine, still youthful and young, and not even in full adolescence as of 2012. It has 40 or more years ahead of it, but should hit its plateau of full maturity in another 5-10 years. It is certainly one of the most showy , flamboyant and remarkable Harlan Estates made to date. Kudos to Bill Harlan! (RP)" (06/2012)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 The Mascot Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend. The grapes for this wine come from younger vines on the Harlan and Bond estates and is spearheaded by Bill Harlan's son, Will. From the producer: "The growing season of 2012 was defined by ideal conditions - warm, gentle, and even - and the resulting wine reflects this benevolence. The nose is wrapped around a core of red fruit and subtle spice. Upon entry, a spherical density expands into lush, vibrant warmth. Continuing easily across the palate, finely textured tannins resolve into a lengthy finish. The 2012 is generous and welcoming in its youth, and for the patient it promises deeper layers as the years pass."
Starting Bid: $300.00

Bid on this bottle of 2017 MacDonald Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (96JD, 96WS, 95RP, 95VN). Wine Spectator: "Intense cassis and steeped cherry flavors form the core, while singed tobacco, warm loam and savory notes swirl around. In a youthful state now, wrestling with itself as warm gravel, roasted juniper and dark olive elements vie for attention. Cellaring will let this unwind fully. Leans toward the old-school side of the stylistic spectrum. (JM)" (11/2020)
Starting Bid: $350.00

Bid on this bottle of 2002 Peter Michael "Les Pavots" Knights Valley Bordeaux Blend (99RP, 94ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A great, great success (and of course, this is Knight’s Valley material), the 2002 Les Pavots, which I loved from barrel as well as bottle, still has a good 20+ years of life ahead of it. At this point, it is tasting like a vigorous young adolescent in its evolutionary development. The blend in 2002 from the winery was 71% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc and 7% Petit Verdot. Moreover there are just under 3, 000 cases of this spectacular wine, which I’m hoping many readers have cellared away. (RP)" (06/2012)
