Bid on this bottle of 2013 Hall "Kathryn Hall" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 95WE, 93CG, 93WS, 92VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Kathryn Hall from Napa is another blockbuster, exhibiting an opaque bluish purple color, notes of charcoal, graphite, blackberry, chocolate and exotic spices, a full-bodied mouthfeel, and a long, long finish. Like most 2013s, it is just hinting at its ultimate potential, but this wine is loaded and exciting. Forget it for another 4-5 years and drink it over the following three decades. (RP)" (12/2016)

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2016 Dominus Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (100RP, 98JD, 98JS, 97VN, 95WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A blend of 84% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Petit Verdot and 8% Cabernet Franc aged in 40% new oak, the 2016 Proprietary Red Wine is deep purple-black in color and quite reticent at this youthful stage to begin, offering up subtle notions of potpourri, Indian spices, cigar box and iron ore over a core of crushed blackberries and black cherries with intermittent wafts of black and red currants, new leather and smoked meats. The palate is medium to full-bodied with a densely packed mid-palate and oodles of freshness framed by very ripe, finely grained tannins and laced with compelling earthy accents. It offers incredible vibrancy with tons of black and red fruit sparkle in the mid-palate leading to a provocative mineral element on the very long finish. If I could give more than 100 for this one, I would. (LPB)" (10/2018)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Quilceda Creek "Galitzine Vineyard" Red Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 95VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The finest vintage ever for this cuvée, the utterly spellbinding 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Galitzine Vineyard is 100% Red Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon that was brought up in new barrels. Slightly deeper and richer than the Columbia Valley Cabernet, its deep ruby/purple color is followed by a smorgasbord of graphite, crushed violets, crushed rocks, cassis and dark chocolate. With incredible richness, ultra-fine tannin, no hard edges and a stacked mid-palate, give this crazy good red 2-3 years of cellaring and enjoy over the following two decades! One of the youngest, richest, most promising wines of the vintage, this stunning effort boasts an inky/blue/purple color as well as classic notes of blueberries, cassis, acacia flowers and licorice intermixed with a subtle hint of graphite. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon is still very tight and youthful, slowly unfurling to reveal a multifaceted wine with tons of black, blue and red fruit sparks—plums, cherries, black currants and red currants—with dark chocolate, cedar chest, black tea and red roses in the background plus wafts of pencil lead and prosciutto. Medium-bodied and firmly textured by superbly ripe, grainy tannins, it has a fantastic core of intense, complex layers, finishing on an edifying mineral note. Wow! (LPB)" (10/2018)

Bid on this magnum of 2010 Amuse Bouche Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (1.5L) (92RP, 92VN). Vinous: "The 2010 Amuse Bouche is a bit brighter and more focused than the 2009. Firm yet well-integrated tannins support the fruit in this nicely delineated, chiseled wine. Plums, dark cherries, mint and licorice all jump from the glass as the 2010 continues to open up. The combination of juiciness and structure is highly appealing. The long growing season produced a gorgeous, beautifully balanced wine. (AG)" (12/2012)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Caymus "40th Anniversary" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1L) (96RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "They appear to be immune to some of winedom’s less than intelligent trends and fads that we see from time to time, and the result is a spectacular 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon 40th Anniversary offering. Its dense purple/black color is followed by copious quantities of crème de cassis and blackberry fruit, silky tannins, a voluptuous texture and stunning purity as well as length. This full-bodied effort is a fabulous example of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon as well as a tribute to this amazing family. Amazing! (RP)" (10/2014)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Krupp Brothers "Premier Napa Valley-Doctor's Orders" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (92WE). Wine Enthusiast: "This blend showcases the many varieties that shine at Stagecoach, from Tempranillo, which makes up 44% of the whole, to Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot and Malbec. Floral and marked by a rocky, gravelly minerality, it tastes of cherry compote, pencil lead and black pepper, showing juicy acidity throughout. *Cellar Selection* (VB)" (10/2016)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Spottswoode "Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (99JD, 99RP, 98JS, 97VN, 95DC, 95WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "With the lowest percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon in of any of the wines from this vertical, the 2012 final blend was 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot. Production across the board in 2012 was high, and reflected in the 3, 977 cases made at Spottswoode. This is a dramatic, flamboyant, modern-day version of the 2002. Dramatic blueberry, black raspberry and blackcurrant fruit, along with camphor, charcoal, white flowers and foresty notes all emerge from the impressive aromatics that soar from the glass. The intense, explosively rich, full-bodied palate is layered with beautiful purity, stunningly sweet, silky tannins and terrific presence and complexity. This is a gorgeous wine on a relatively fast evolutionary track, I suspect, but certainly it has 30 years of upside left. (RP)" (08/2016)

Bid on this bottle of 2016 Promontory Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (100JD, 100JS, 100RP, 99VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Deep garnet-purple, the 2016 Promontory comes barreling out of the glass with bold scents of black cherries, blueberry pie and licorice, leading to a slowly emerging core of crème de cassis, dark chocolate, black soil and truffles plus touches of cumin seed, mossy bark and beef drippings. The full-bodied palate is densely packed with muscular fruit, backed by a rock-solid structure of very firm, exquisitely ripe, grainy tannins and fantastic tension. The finish is both powerful and beautifully nuanced, hedonic and cerebrally gratifying. This singularly stunning expression of Napa Valley is to be released by the winery in 2021. (LPB)" (01/2021)

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2019 Bryant "DB4" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (92JD, 92VN). Vinous: "The 2019 DB 4 is gracious, aromatically expressive and light on its feet. In 2019, the DB4 is a touch nervy, but it has plenty of persistence and fine balance. Crushed flowers, red berry fruit, mint and chalk add an appealing upper register. The 2019 is a charmer, that is for sure. There is an exotic quality that is especially enticing. (AG)" (01/2022)

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Lail "J. Daniel Cuvée" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100JD, 100RP, 96JS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Absolutely perfect and one of the monumental wines of my long tasting trip in Napa is the 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon J. Daniel Cuvée. I didn’t see this from barrel last year. Aged 20 months in 75% new French oak and representing 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from three vineyard sources: one in Calistoga, one in Oakville and one in Howell Mountain. Robin Lail and winemaker Philippe Melka hit pay dirt with a wine that has an inky purple color, an almost amazing bouquet that reminded me of 1989 Chateau Montrose when it was young. Sweet almost truffle-infused earth, graphite, forest floor, blackcurrant and black cherry notes are followed by a full-bodied wine with a hint of mocha and licorice. (RP)" (10/2014)

Medium-bodied with a great intensity of earth-tinged black fruits, it has a firm frame of grainy tannins and a long truffle-laced finish. (LPB)" (10/2018)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Arkenstone "NVD" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (93JD, 93JS, 93RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2016 NVD Cabernet Sauvignon comes from Calistoga, Howell Mountain, Pritchard Hill and Soda Canyon. It is composed of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon aged 22 months in 75% new French oak. Very deep garnet-purple, it has quite a meaty nose with notions of charcuterie, cigar boxes and dusty soil with a core of plum preserves, warm cassis and fragrant earth plus a waft of sautéed herbs. Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2017 Vice Versa "Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98JD, 95RP). Jeb Dunnuck: "Just a beast of a wine, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr. Crane is one of the top wines in the vintage and is an incredible, insanely good effort that comes close to what this estate achieved in 2016. Blackcurrants, tobacco, chocolate, gravelly earth, and graphite all emerge from this youthful, primordial wine that stays tight and compact on the palate yet just oozes potential. Structured, full-bodied, and locked and loaded, it needs 4-5 years of bottle age and will cruise for 25 years or more." (01/2020)

Bid on this bottle of 1991 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (97RP, 97ST, 97VN, 96DC, 96WS, 95JS, 93JG). Vinous: "The 1991 Monte Bello is utterly captivating. Sweet tobacco, cedar, mint, dried flowers and herbs are some of the many notes the open up in the wine's striking bouquet. Aromatic, mid-weight and gracious, the 1991 is wonderfully complex, with more than enough balance to drink well for another two decades. The aromatics in particular are super-expressive, open-knit and incredibly finessed, all qualities Paul Draper says the wine showed right out of the fermentation tanks. What a gorgeous wine this is. (AG)" (07/2015)

Bid on this bottle of 2013 Joseph Phelps "Insignia" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (98RP, 98WE, 97VN, 95JS, 95W&S, 94CG, 94DC, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "There were 12, 300 cases produced in 2013, and this vintage of Insignia is certainly going to turn out to be one of the great ones. The wine offers a stunning inky blue/purple color, a gorgeous nose of blueberry and blackberry liqueur, pen ink, graphite, new saddle leather and barrique. The wine has fabulous concentration, a full-bodied, multi-layered mouthfeel, and tremendous finish with moderate tannin. It’s interesting to note that the Phelps winemaking staff had been gradually reducing the amount of Merlot in this wine over recent vintages. (RP) 98+ " (10/2016)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2005 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 99DC, 96WE, 94ST, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "From a hot vintage and incredible any way you look at it, the 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon has that laser-like focus of a cooler year, yet the voluptuousness and richness of a warmer year. Smoked black fruits, coffee, truffle and pen ink-like aromas and flavors all emerge from this massive, incredibly full-bodied effort and on the palate, it carries itself perfectly with a weightless, yet decadent texture, masses of polished tannin and blockbuster length. More classic and textbook than the 2007, it is every bit as good. (JD)" (06/2013)
Starting Bid: $525.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Caymus Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (92WS). Wine Spectator: "Ripe and fleshy, with rich plum, wild berry, spice and savory herb notes that are complex, full-bodied and expansive on the palate, ending with firm tannins and a dash of espresso. (JL)" (11/2009)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2010 Bryant Family Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (99RP, 95VN, 95WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Teasing the taster with a possible three-digit perfection is the 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Pritchard Hill. This beauty shows lots of creme de cassis, blueberry liqueur, spring flower and forest floor notes in an opulent, full-bodied, powerful, dense, rich style buttressed by significant ripe tannins and decent acidity. Again, the striking purity and singular character of this Bryant Cabernet Sauvignon oozes potential as well as pedigree. This spectacular, young Cabernet should turn out to be one of the all-time great Bryant Cabernet Sauvignons, rivaling their 1997, but slightly more structured. (RP)" (10/2013)

Bid on this magnum of 2014 Amici "Beckstoffer To Kalon" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (97JS). James Suckling: "This is really exotic with dark berries, peaches, star anise and nutmeg. Aromatic. Made from 63% Cabernet Sauvignon, 29% Malbec, and 8% Merlot, its vibrant purple color is followed by a gorgeous nose of crème de cassis, graphite, scorched earth, liquid violets, and charcoal. Full-bodied, deep, voluptuously textured and layered, with sweet tannin, this incredible beauty stays pure and elegant on the palate, with perfect balance. It's going to drink nicely for two decades as well. Drink 2018 - 2038" (04/2018)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Justin "Reserve" Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon (95WE). Wine Enthusiast: "Lush aromas of cinnamon, black and red cherry, vanilla and toasted brioche show on this unabashedly potent and downright delicious bottling by the region's pioneering winery. Soft tannins joyously present rounded red-fruit and vanilla-cake flavors, with rich accents of cherry compote and chocolate chip cookie that are cut by streaks of bitterness and tartness. It's a voluptuous, attention-grabbing wine. (MK)" (09/2017)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2010 Adamvs "Quintvs" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97JD). Jeb Dunnuck: "Moving to the QUINTVS cuvee, this can be thought of as the second wine of the estate, yet it sees the same elevage and winemaking as the top wine, spending 22 months in new barrels. The 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon QUINTVS certainly doesn’t taste like a second wine and it offers incredible, full-bodied notes of chocolate laced black fruits, violets, bay leaf, and loads of cedary herbs. This is a quintessential Howell Mountain Cabernet that’s drinking brilliantly today yet will cruise for another two decades or more." (02/2020)

Vinous: "One of the highlights in this tasting, the 2016 Monte Bello has turned out just as beautifully as I hoped it would. Soaring aromatics, bright acids and mid-weight structure give the 2016 a super-classic feel. Clearly, the 2016 is very primary today, with plenty of bright red and purplish berry fruit. More than that, though, the 2016 pulses with energy and simply exceptional balance. Don't miss it! (AG)" (10/2019)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2017 Vice Versa "Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95JD, 92RP). Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Las Piedras comes from a rocky vineyard that normally yields a more elegant, floral wine compared to the Dr. Crane Vineyard, which is just a stone’s throw away. Bid on this magnum of 2015 Christopher Tynan Wines "Meleagris Gallopavo Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (93RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Meleagris Gallopavo Vineyard is a little closed and broody to begin, giving way to notions of licorice, tar, Indian spices and camphor with a core of crème de cassis, plum preserves and blueberry compote. Medium to full-bodied, the palate delivers retrained black fruits and earthy layers with a firm, chewy frame and a long savory finish. 93+ (LPB)" (10/2018)
Starting Bid: $360.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2015 Justin "Isosceles Reserve" Paso Robles Bordeaux Blend (OWC - 94WE) in original wood. Wine Enthusiast: "This reserve bottling delivers rich aromas of candied black cherry, dark caramel, licorice and mocha. The palate on this Cabernet-dominant blend is taut yet exuberant, offering a black currant flavor against a chalky texture. (MK)" (12/2019)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2011 Continuum Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (95VN, 94JS, 94WE, 92RP, 92ST, 92WS). Vinous: "The 2011 Proprietary Red Wine is just starting to show the first signs of aromatic development. It remains a big, concentrated wine with real breadth and pedigree. Hints of espresso, tobacco, dried leaves, menthol and licorice add striking aromatic complexity, but the 2011 remains young and full of promise. The advantages of being above the fog line in 2011 are evident. (AG)" (09/2019)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Colgin "Cariad" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (98RP, 97JS, 97VN, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A close second (and who knows how they might perform at different times and with different foods) is the 2012 Cariad Proprietary Red Wine, made from grapes grown by David Abreu at his estate vineyards in Napa. This blend of 53% Cabernet Sauvignon, 26% Merlot, 12% Cabernet Franc and 9% Petit Verdot shows notes of burning embers/charcoal, blackberry fruit, licorice and floral notes, followed by a full-bodied, dense, layered wine. It has great purity, wonderfully sweet, integrated tannin, and a voluptuous mouthfeel and finish of close to 50+ seconds. (RP)" (10/2015)
Starting Bid: $585.00

Bid on this bottle of 2017 Abreu "Las Posadas" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (98JD, 97VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "Lots of blue fruits, bay leaf, cedar, and chocolate notes emerge from the 2017 Las Posadas, which is one of the standouts of the 2017s from this estate. Lots of foresty notes, spice, cedar, and tobacco emerge with time in the glass, and it has a savory, complex, full-bodied style that builds beautifully with air. Rich and flawlessly balanced, with a great mid-palate, 2017 doesn’t get much better." (01/2021)
Starting Bid: $295.00

Bid on this bottle of 2019 Carter "The O.G. - Beckstoffer To Kalon" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Carter Cellars--which Robert Parker refers to as "(o)ne of my favorite tiny boutique wineries in Napa Valley"--produces a line-up of top-shelf Cabernets, of which the 2019s have yet to be reviewed.
Starting Bid: $175.00

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (98VN, 96JS, 96RP, 94DC, 94WS). Vinous: "The 2012 Monte Bello is one of the most harmonious young Monte Bellos I can remember tasting. Seamless and voluptuous through to the finish, the 2012 is showing beautifully today. Raspberry jam, pomegranate, white flowers, mint and spices are some of the many notes that flesh out in the glass. A wine with a distinctly red-hued profile, silky tannins, no hard edges and exceptional overall balance, the 2012 Monte Bello is simply magnificent. The 2012 is racy but also impeccably balanced throughout, with shades of the 2001 that come through from time to time. I won't be surprised if the 2013 and 2014 both eventually surpass it, but there is no denying that the 2012 is simply stunning today. This is one of the best showings yet for the 2012. (AG)" (07/2015)
