Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Tenuta Sette Ponti "Oreno" Toscana (99JS, 94RP, 94VN, 93WS, 92DC). James Suckling: "Gorgeous floral and deep, dark berry aromas with hints of spices such as cinnamon and hazelnuts. Full body and ultra-fine and strong tannins that are powerful yet so sleek and beautiful. Fantastic length and texture. Deep, dark and profound. Takes you on a long journey and shows you its true character. Give it time." (05/2018)
Starting Bid: $185.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2007 Tua Rita "Giusto di Notri" Toscana Rosso (95RP, 95ST, 93JS, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2007 Giusto dei Notri is a gorgeous, dark beauty endowed with layers of sensual black and blue fruits. Soft, seamless and utterly enveloping, the 2007 Giusto dei Notri impresses for its depth and richness, both of which have been achieved without any excess heaviness. Today the oak is rather pronounced and the wine needs further time in bottle for its full range of aromas and flavors to emerge, but make no mistake, this is a terrific and highly enjoyable wine. Anticipated maturity: 2017-2027. (AG)" (10/2010)
Starting Bid: $120.00

Bid on this 3-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2015 Tenuta San Guido "Guidalberto" Toscana (94JS, 93WE, 92W&S, 91DC, 91RP, 91WS, 90VN), 1-bottle of 2016 Tenuta San Guido "Guidalberto" Toscana (95JS, 94RP, 94W&S, 93DC, 93WE, 92VN), and 1-bottle of 2017 Tenuta San Guido "Guidalberto" Toscana (94JS, 94VN, 93WE, 92RP, 92WS). Of the 2016 Tenuta San Guido "Guidalberto" Toscana, James Suckling writes: "This is extremely perfumed with aromas of lavender, cinnamon, blackberries, bark and blackcurrants. Full-bodied, extremely refined and polished. Gorgeous fruit and balance. Best ever bottling of this pretty wine from the producers of Sassicaia?" (09/2018)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2009 Giovanni Chiappini "Guado de' Gemoli" Bolgheri Superiore (100WE). Wine Enthusiast: "This small, family-run estate in the heart of Bolgheri has delivered a wine so beautiful and elegant, it is catapulted to the level of landmark vintages of its celebrated neighbors, Sassicaia and Ornellaia. Inky concentration sets the stage for generous, but perfectly integrated, aromas of spice, chocolate and dark fruit. There's firm roundness in the mouth, followed by unforgettable persistence. Hold this wine 15 years or more. *Cellar Selection, Best of the Year 2013*" (04/2013)
Starting Bid: $350.00

Bid on this bottle of 2016 San Guido "Sassicaia" Bolgheri (100DC, 100RP, 98WE, 97JS, 97VN, 97WS, 95JD). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2016 Sassicaia is a wine of soaring achievement. I tasted this wine several times during the course of its creation in both barrel and bottle, and the highly deserved 100-point score you see here was enthusiastically assigned at the conclusion of a mini vertical in which I tasted and compared the 2016 vintage against 2015 (which I scored 97 points). It makes perfect sense to present these two excellent vintages in back-to-back comparison fashion because they are two of the best to emerge from Bolgheri, and indeed Tenuta San Guido, in recent memory. These are very similar vintages with long, hot summer months that fueled a long growing season. (ML)" (01/2019)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2008 Tenuta San Guido "Sassicaia" Bolgheri (98DC, 97JS, 97RP, 97WE, 96VN, 94WS). Decanter: "Dense, intense chocolate and damson colour. On the nose things are still very closed despite its age. Although the palate is heading to the splitting point where the tertiary aromatics and flavours are making their appearance, though they’re held back by the primary vibrant blackberry fruits and a seam of Sassicaia freshness, with a bite of liquorice root. After a moment in the glass, the nose starts to open. Undergrowth notes are most clear at first, followed by black truffles. This is slowly opening up, taking time and patience. A clearly great vintage, and one that has many years ahead of it. (JA)" (10/2016)

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2016 Tenuta Argentiera "Argentiera" Bolgheri Superiore (97RP, 96JS, 95DC, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2016 Bolgheri Superiore Argentiera is 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc, and the Cabernet Sauvignon logically feels and tastes most prominent. This is a dark and penetrating Tuscan red that is beautifully elevated, thanks to the extremely elegant and buoyant quality of the aromas. They lift gracefully from the glass with light-footed, almost fleeting character. However, don't underestimate the power and the concentration of the wine, because this vintage delivers both with abundance. I've had my eye on this estate since the vineyards were first planted some 20 years ago, and there is no doubt that this vintage brings Tenuta Argentiera into a new era as a Bolgheri protagonist. (ML)" (05/2019)
Starting Bid: $375.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Felsina "Maestro Raro" Cabernet Sauvignon Toscana (96RP, 95VN, 94W&S, 93JS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A beautiful wine, the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Maestro Raro showcases the best of Tuscany and the best of this grape. This Cabernet Sauvignon offers a determined load of black fruit followed by a long array of subtle detailing with spice, leather and bitter chocolate. You also get balsam herb, crushed mineral and a touch of green olive. The wine offers a stunning level of fullness and complexity with softly layered and fine tannins that caress the palate. Starting Bid: $125.00

Bid on this 2-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2006 Antinori Guado al Tasso Bolgheri Superiore (97WE, 95JS, 95WS, 92JG, 91RP) and 1-bottle of 2007 Antinori "Guado al Tasso" Bolgheri Superiore (97JS, 97WE, 95ST, 94RP, 91DC). Of the 2006 Antinori Guado al Tasso Bolgheri Superiore, Wine Enthusiast writes: "Guado al Tasso is finally back. After a string of past vintages that exhibited some rubber-like aromas, the 2006 expression is a study in purity, focus and excellence. This wine is impressive on all levels in terms of intensity, personality and persistency. It's rich and luscious with smooth tannins and lasting flavors of blackberry and spice. *Cellar Selection.*" (03/2010)

Bid on this bottle of 2010 Castello dei Rampolla "Sammarco" Toscana (100VN, 97JS, 96RP, 95ST). Vinous: "The 2010 Sammarco tastes like biting into a combination of graphite, crushed rocks, smoke, violets, kirsch, lavender and sweet spices. The flavors are intense and concentrated, yet also incredibly nuanced. Firm tannins give the wine an extra kick of energy on the sculpted finish. I don't expect the 2010 will be ready to drink anytime soon, but it is a real pleasure to revisit today, as it is just as stunning as it has always been. In a word: magnificent! (AG)" (10/2015)
Starting Bid: $130.00

Bid on this bottle of 2001 Antinori "Solaia" Toscana (96RP, 95VN, 94DC, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2001 Solaia, far superior to the overrated 1997 (to which I also prefer the 1999 and 1994) is a classic example of central Tuscan Cabernet at its best, ruby-purple in color, warm and explosive in its expression of black currant fruit, tobacco, tar, and graphite, superbly concentrated and dense on the palate but balanced and shapely at the same time and with a noble austerity and grip on the finish which resembles the best of Bordeaux. (DT)" (04/2006)
Starting Bid: $225.00

Bid on this bottle of 1996 Castello dei Rampolla "Vigna d'Alceo" Toscana Rosso (97VN, 95WS, 92RP). Vinous: "The 1996 Vigna d'Alceo is just beginning to show the earliest signs of tertiary complexity. Licorice, smoke, underbrush, menthol, plums and dark cherries all flesh out in this beautifully layered, sumptuous Vigna d'Alceo. With some air, the 1996 can be enjoyed today, but it also has the stuffing to age well for another 15-20 years. What a great showing. (AG)" (12/2013)
Starting Bid: $85.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2004 Tenuta dell'Ornellaia "Ornellaia" Bolgheri Superiore (98VN, 98WE, 97WS, 96JS, 95RP). Vinous: "Silky, perfumed and polished, the 2004 Ornellaia is a fabulous example of the vintage. From magnum, the 2004 is exceptionally youthful and super-finessed, with expressive, floral aromatics and layers of finely-knit fruit. What else can I say? The 2004 is tremendous. (AG)" (01/2017)
Starting Bid: $400.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Tenuta San Guido "Sassicaia" Bolgheri (95VN, 95WE, 94RP, 93JS, 93WS). Vinous: "The 2007 Sassicaia (Cabernet Sauvignon) explodes onto the palate with masses of rich, opulent fruit that caress the palate with gorgeous length and a seamless beauty that is hard to fully capture. Dark wild cherries, plums, spices, minerals and herbs develop in the glass. This is an especially bold, perhaps slightly uncharacteristic Sassicaia in its extroverted personality, but it is beautiful all the same. The inner perfume and sweetness carries through the long finish, where the sheer weight and glycerol of the fruit leaves a lasting impression. The 2007 is more than a worthy follow-up to the profound 2006. (AG)" (10/2010)
Starting Bid: $460.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1998 Tenuta dell'Ornellaia "Ornellaia" Bolgheri Superiore (99DC, 98JS, 96WS, 94ST, 94VN, 93RP). Decanter: "1998 is most likely the best vintage ever for Ornellaia. Petit Verdot was not yet used in the blend. Evolved bramble fruits meld with forest floor, helichrysum and Mediterranean herb aromas. On the palate this wine dazzles with the vibrancy of the best Pomerol-like minerality, with a tight-knit structure of velvety yet lively tannins amongst the fruit, and delicate acidity pushing a slightly pyrazinic finish with long, dark notes of Marmite and cigar-box supported by some citrus notes. (AF)" (02/2019)

Bid on this 2-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2005 Tenuta San Guido "Sassicaia" Bolgheri (94WS, 93DC, 93RP, 93VN, 92W&S, 90ST) and 1-bottle of 2006 Tenuta San Guido "Sassicaia" Bolgheri (99DC, 97VN, 96RP, 95JS, 95ST, 94WE, 94WS). Of the 2006 Tenuta San Guido "Sassicaia" Bolgheri, Decanter writes: "This 2006 has guts and glory, there is stuffing here. The exotic heat comes through like a pan-seared filet steak, nothing more than a flash fire that gives way to succulence. More exoticism with the dancing array of flavours, from plums, damson and spices to forest fruits and heather then the menthol kicks comes in. You just want to linger over this glass, pick apart the individual flavours and get to understand what it is saying. (JA)" (12/2016)

Bid on this 3-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2004 Castello di Querceto "Cignale" Colli della Toscana Centrale (93RP), 1-bottle of 2010 Maculan "Fratta" Veneto Rosso (94RP, 92VN), and 1-bottle of 2012 Tenuta Sette Ponti "Oreno" Toscana (97JS, 93RP, 93VN, 93WS). Of the 2012 Tenuta Sette Ponti "Oreno" Toscana, James Suckling writes: "Fabulous aromas of blackberries, orange peel, raspberries and citrus. Violets too. Full body, ultra-fine tannins and a light, dusty texture. It's so fine and beautiful, racy and refined. Very structured indeed but also soulful and very, very inspiring. There's a new refinement to this wine as the winemakers search for a truly beautiful expression of the terroir. Better in 2017 but a joy to taste now." (11/2014)
Starting Bid: $120.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2009 San Guido "Sassicaia" Bolgheri (OWC - 98JS, 97DC, 96RP, 96WE) in original wood. James Suckling: "An extremely rich and ripe wine with currant, cherry and balsamic aromas. Hints of leather. Follows through on the finish. Full body, round and velvety tannins that are reserved and beautiful. Sweet and sour. Savory, too. Drink or hold. This has a long life ahead of it." (10/2017)
Starting Bid: $1,400.00

Bid on this 3-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2010 Isole e Olena "Collezione Privata" Cabernet Sauvignon Toscana (94JS), 1-bottle of 2011 Isole e Olena "Collezione Privata" Cabernet Sauvignon Toscana (96VN, 95JS, 94RP), and 1-bottle of 2013 Isole e Olena "Collezione Privata" Cabernet Sauvignon Toscana (96VN, 93RP, 91JS). Of the 2011 Isole e Olena "Collezione Privata" Cabernet Sauvignon Toscana, Vinous writes: "96+ points. The 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon Collezione Privata is superb. Black cherry jam, crème de cassis, smoke, plums, menthol, licorice and violets form a stunning backdrop as the 2011 opens up in the glass. Sumptuous and layered yet also quite fresh (especially for the year), the 2011 possesses superb balance and exceptional finesse. The intensity of the fruit nearly buries the tannins, but they are there. My impression is that the 2011 will offer a long and wide window of pure drinking pleasure. (AG) 96+" (09/2015)
