Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2014 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (98JS, 97JD, 97RP, 96DC, 96VN, 94WS). James Suckling: "Unique aromas of blackberry, black currant, dark chocolate and walnut. Full body, very powerful and tannic. Incredible depth and power. Precise and so focused. Muscular. Great structure. This needs at least six to eight years to come together. *Top 100 of 2017*" (01/2018)

Bid on this 3 liter of 2017 Myriad "Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (3L).
Starting Bid: $500.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Morgado "Sage Ridge" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Kimberly Hatcher trained under Russel Bevan (Bevan Cellars) before founding her own winery in 2009. All while pursuing her day job as a San Francisco firefighter. Winery vineyard notes: "Perched high above lake Hennessey in the Napa Valley where Cabernet Sauvignon dominates this mountainous site. Aerial views of this vineyard give an insider’s look into the intricate patchwork of blocks on steep hillsides and terraces. Some vines are so close to the edge, you wonder, how will this survive? And yet, they thrive. A good part of that success is the soil, the dynamic climate, and the meticulous farming at this high elevation mountain vineyard."
Starting Bid: $160.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Snowden "Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Deep garnet colored, the 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve opens with wonderfully expressive notes of warm black plums, Black Forest cake, blackcurrant cordial and figs with suggestions of tobacco, dusty soil, tapenade and cedar chest plus a hint of bay leaves. The full-bodied palate is still incredibly youthful with buckets of ripe, plushly textured black fruits backed up with earth and spice box nuances, finishing long and perfumed. (LPB)" (08/2018)
Starting Bid: $180.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1984 Dominus Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (94JG, 92RP). John Gilman: "The 1984 vintage of Dominus was the first ever to be released by the estate, as Christian Moueix properly judged that the tighter and more structured 1983, which was the first wine actually vinified at the estate, would do well with a bit more bottle age in the cellars prior to release, so the 1984 was the first to find its way to market. I have always loved this vintage of Dominus and this most recent bottle was absolutely singing, offering up a deep and classy bouquet of red and black cherries, a touch of menthol, cigar smoke, a beautifully complex base of Rutherford soil, fresh herb tones and a judicious base of vanillin oak. " (05/2013)
Starting Bid: $480.00

Bid on this magnum of 2018 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (97JS, (94-97RP), 96VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "I tasted the 2018 Monte Bello as a finished barrel sample during the annual Ridge Monte Bello Tasting Final Assemblage event; the blend was 68% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Merlot, 11% Petite Verdot and 3% Cabernet Franc. It has a medium to deep ruby-purple color and youthfully primary nose with boysenberry, blueberry jam, blackcurrant, dark chocolate-covered cherries, cigar box, graphite, loamy earth and oodles of floral character. The palate is medium to full-bodied and packed full of flavor layers, knit by very fine, ripe, pixelated tannins and great freshness and finishing very long. (LPB) 94-97+" (02/2020)
Starting Bid: $325.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Margaux, Margaux (99JS, 99RP, 99VN, 99WE, 98DC, 97JD, 97WS). Vinous: "The 2016 Château Margaux has an intense bouquet of blackberry, briar, crushed stone and subtle cedar aromas that enrapture the senses; hints of pencil box and sous-bois emerge with time. The harmonious palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins and a fine bead of acidity, and a touch of bitterness lends tension on the finish. Impressive – very impressive. (NM)" (08/2020)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Léoville-Las Cases, St-Julien (100DC, 100JD, 100JS, 100RP, 98VN, 98WS, 97WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Very deep purple-black colored, the 2016 Léoville Las Cases (composed of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Merlot and 11% Cabernet Franc) is quite closed to begin, yet with patient coaxing it unfurls beautifully to reveal suggestions of ripe blackcurrants, black raspberries, warm redcurrants and wild blueberries, followed by touches of unsmoked cigars, tilled red soil, cast iron pan, fallen leaves and lavender plus wonderfully fragrant wafts of lilacs and baking spices. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is packed with tightly knit, very subtle layers of minerals, floral notions and black and red berries, all framed by exquisitely ripe, silt-like tannins and fantastic freshness, finishing with epic length and depth. Simply captivating even in its youth, give it at least a decade in the cellar and then enjoy it over the next 50+ years. (LPB)" (11/2018)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Bevan "Sugarloaf Mountain Vineyard" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (100RP, 95VN, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Another perfect wine is Bevan’s equal part blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc, the 2012 Proprietary Red Sugarloaf Mountain. Notes of unsmoked cigar tobacco, forest floor, pen ink mulberries, blackberries and spring flowers soar from this inky/purple-colored 2012. The wine possesses great intensity, remarkable unctuosity and thickness, and perfect integration of acidity, alcohol, tannin and wood. Aged in equal parts new Gamba and Darnajou barrels, there are 225 cases of this fabulous wine. Drink now-2032. (RP)" (10/2014)

Bid on this bottle of 1989 Margaux, Margaux (97WS, 92RP). Wine Spectator: "This is about as alluring as it gets aromatically, with singed alder, juniper, bay and charcoal notes out front, hinting at power but turning beguiling as they flow into the core of steeped red currant, dried currant and black tea. The charcoal note makes an encore, with a lovely twinge of old-school character holding the finish. Always a great debate vis-à-vis the '90, but the slightly darker profile here gives this wine a lovely bit of extra drama. (JM, Web-2014)"
Starting Bid: $500.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Spottswoode "Family Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 94DC, 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Deep garnet colored with a lingering hint of purple, the 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon comes sashaying out of the glass with provocative notions of warm cassis, blueberry compote, blackberry pie and violets with chocolate box, licorice and menthol nuances plus wafts of wilted roses, lavender and kirsch. Medium-bodied, the intensely perfumed black and blue fruit flavors glide gracefully across the palate, revealing a myriad of earth and spice accents, all framed beautifully with super ripe, fine-grained tannins and invigorating freshness, finishing very, very long. Wow. LPB)" (08/2018)
Starting Bid: $400.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2010 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (98WS, 97JS, 97VN, 96RP, 96ST, 96W&S). Wine Spectator: "A highlight of the tasting, with rocking energy, dense black currant and black berry fruit and loads of singed wood thoroughly embedded throughout. Juicy bramble, alder and bay leaf notes chime in, with a mouthwatering mineral spine buried deep on the finish. (JM, Web-2019)"

Bid on this bottle of 1982 Mouton Rothschild, Pauillac (100JD, 100JS, 100RP, 98ST, 98VN, 97DC). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This wine remains one of the legends of Bordeaux. It has thrown off the backward, youthful style that existed during its first 25 years of life, and over the last 4-5 years has developed such secondary nuances as cedar and spice box. The creme de cassis, underlying floral note, full-bodied power, extraordinary purity, multilayered texture, and finish of over a minute are a showcase for what this Chateau accomplished in 1982. The wine is still amazingly youthful, vibrant, and pure. It appears capable of remaining fruity and vibrant in 2082! Thank God it is beginning to budge, as I would like to drink most of my supply before I kick the bucket. This is a great, still youthful wine, and, on occasion, one does understand the hierarchy of Bordeaux chateaux when you see the complexity and brilliance of this first-growth. (RP)" (06/2009)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2005 Pride Mountain "Reserve" Sonoma-Napa Counties Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 94WE, 93WS, 92CG, 92VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This full-bodied wine is very concentrated, with a saturated bluish/purple color and a classic nose of mocha and espresso intermixed with crème de cassis and charcoal. The finish is a good 40-45 seconds, and the wine has a remarkable vibrancy and freshness from the vintage’s acidity. This is terrific stuff to drink now and over the next 12-15 years. (RP) 96+" (06/2015)
Starting Bid: $227.00

Bid on this bottle of 2005 Shafer "Hillside Select" Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon (99RP, 95WS, 94JS, 94VN, 94W&S, 93CG). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "One of the world’s great wines and profound expressions of Cabernet Sauvignon, is the 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon Hillside Select. This wine spends more than 30 months in 100% new oak, and, year in year out, has been one of the most singular and profound examples of Cabernet Sauvignon in the world. It seems Shafer began to ratchet up performance during the 1990s, and the first decade of the 21st century has provided a treasure trove of either perfect or nearly perfect wines, including the 2001, 2002, 2004, 2005, 2007 and more recently the 2010, 2012 and, in all likelihood, the 2013. (RP)" (06/2015)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2008 Tenuta dell'Ornellaia "Ornellaia" Bordeaux Blend Bolgheri Superiore (97JS, 97RP, 97WE, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2008 Ornellaia continues to blossom in the bottle. Dark cherries, chocolate, espresso, blackberries and mocha are just some of the many notes that explode from the glass. A rich tapestry of licorice, tar and camphor notes develop in the glass, adding considerable complexity. The 2008 is a huge, structured Ornellaia endowed with massive structure. It has come together beautifully since the early days when it was a tannic beast. Readers who can be patient will be rewarded with a spectacular bottle of wine. This is a fabulous showing. (AG) " (06/2012)
Starting Bid: $333.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 1990 Clos du Val Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. For well over 40 years, Clos du Val has been making wines according to their own code. These days, they call it "Vindependence". But when John Portet, Clos du Val co-founder chose this area in the Napa Valley in 1972, it was just called, "making good wine from good grapes". Clos du Val released its first wine in 1974, and the winery's 1972 Cab was among the six California Cabs featured in the Judgement of Paris tasting.
Starting Bid: $245.11

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2009 Arietta "H Block - Hudson Vineyard" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (91VN). Vinous: "Full medium ruby. High-pitched aromas of blueberry, black pepper and bitter chocolate; distinct hints of a cooler summer. Juicy, primary wine with excellent energy to its dark berry, spice, bitter chocolate and espresso flavors. Not at all a thick style but boasts sneaky density and depth of texture. Evolving slowly and still rather unevolved, this wine conveys an impression of firm acidity that should keep it alive for many more years. (ST) 91+" (07/2019)
Starting Bid: $275.00

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 1995 Newton "Unfiltered" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (92RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Tannic, but classically constructed, the 1995 Cabernet Sauvignon Unfiltered offers rich cassis fruit intermixed with loamy soil scents, pain grille, and floral notes. Long in the mouth, with an expansive texture, impeccable symmetry, and fine overall balance, this wine finishes with a tannic clout, as well as outstanding ripeness and presence in the mouth. It should be long-lived, but will be ready to drink at an early age. (RP)" (12/1998)
Starting Bid: $171.67

Of the 2008 Bevan "Ontogeny" Oakville Bordeaux Blend, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "The stunning 2008 Ontogeny Proprietary Red (a blend of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot) boasts an opaque purple color along with notes of kirsch, blueberries, boysenberries, mocha and subtle smoke. Expansive on the palate as well as opulent and fleshy with tremendous fruit, depth and richness, there is some tannin lurking in the background, but it is largely concealed by the luxurious fruit component. Already showy and complex, this stunning red can be drunk over the next decade. One of the major fruit sources for Bevan has been the Showket Vineyard in Napa, which was recently sold to Peter Michael. (RP)" (12/2010)

Bid on this bottle of 2017 Colgin "Tychson Hill Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98JD, 98JS, 98RP, 96VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The berries at Tychson Hill vineyard were very small in 2017. “This wine totally required baby steps with the extraction, ” said winemaker Allison Tauziet. Very deep purple-black in color, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Tychson Hill Vineyard leaps from the glass with vibrant black cherries, warm blackberries and blackcurrant scents with hints of violets, dark chocolate, lavender and camphor plus a fragrant waft of rose hip tea. Medium to full-bodied, the structure is taut, restraining all the tightly packed, energetic black fruit layers, with a wonderfully fine-grained texture and bags of freshness, finishing long and mineral laced. Still very tightly wound, this one needs time, but it should handsomely reward patience. (LPB)" (10/2019)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (98VN, 97JD, 96RP, 96W&S, 96WS, 95JS). Vinous: "One of the highlights in this tasting, the 2016 Monte Bello has turned out just as beautifully as I hoped it would. Soaring aromatics, bright acids and mid-weight structure give the 2016 a super-classic feel. Clearly, the 2016 is very primary today, with plenty of bright red and purplish berry fruit. More than that, though, the 2016 pulses with energy and simply exceptional balance. Don't miss it! (AG)" (10/2019)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2005 ZD "Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (91RP). Bid on this bottle of 2012 Far Niente Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (96DC, 94RP, 94WE, 93VN, 92JS). Decanter: "The justly admired Oakville winery has been a Napa Valley fixture since 1979, when it was founded by the late Gil Nickel. From the outset the winemaker has been Dirk Hampson, though today he keeps a knowing eye on the winery’s young winemaking team. But his steady presence, as well as that of the Nickel family, has ensured a consistency of style over the decades. Today all wines are estate-grown, and the vineyards are close to Martha’s Vineyard and other iconic sites. This wine is aged for 17 months in more than 80% new oak, and is always rich and polished."
