Bid on this bottle of 1991 Philip Togni Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 90VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "It is one of the most unique wines I have ever tasted from Togni. The warm year yielded an abundant crop. At the time, Togni also made a white wine. Because of the size of the crop, the harvest took longer than normal, which meant the red grapes spent a little longer on the vine than they would have otherwise. The 1991 presents an intriguing combination of raciness from the super-ripe fruit, but within the classic Togni framework. Sweet tobacco, camphor, savory herbs, licorice and worn-in leather are some of the nuances that add complexity to the fruit. Layers of liqueur-like sweetness frame the beguiling finish. The 1991 is currently peaking, and it won’t last forever, but readers lucky enough to taste this wine are in for a real treat. I have been fortunate to taste the 1991 twice over the last few months, and it has been hypnotic both times. (AG)" (12/2011)

Starting Bid: $255.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2014 Louis M. Martini Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The bigger, richer 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Alexander Valley is 98% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Petite Sirah aged 16 months in 50% new French and American casks. This is a bigger wine and close to 2% higher in alcohol at 15.5%. There are 11, 000 cases of this big, full-bodied, boisterous Cabernet Sauvignon that has a dense ruby/purple color, notes of underbrush, forest floor, tobacco leaf and oodles of blackcurrants and black cherries, with a touch of woodsmoke. The full-bodied wine hits the palate with a cascade of glycerin, fruit and purity. This is a beauty-dense, rich, and structured, but capable of lasting 20 or more years. It is hard to believe that the iconic Louis M. Martini Winery first made Napa Cabernet Sauvignon in 1933. (RP)" (10/2016)
Starting Bid: $165.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2008 Vineyard 7 & 8 "Estate" Spring Mountain District Cabernet Sauvignon (96WE, 93RP, 92ST, 92VN, 91WS). Wine Enthusiast: "It's hard to exaggerate the purity of this wine, which is 100% Cabernet. It startles for the intensity of mountain blackberries and raspberries, and then a firm minerality kicks in, along with the tannins, providing grounding structure. The finish lasts for a full minute. Winemaker Luc Morlet has really hit the jackpot with this dry, spectacularly complex young wine, which will develop for at least a decade. *Cellar Selection, Wine Enthusiast Best of 2011*" (11/2011)
Starting Bid: $310.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2013 Chateau Montelena "Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 95DC, 95VN, 94WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate opens with profound black and red currant cordial notes over an undercurrent of Indian spices, chargrill, scorched earth and bay leaves. Medium-bodied with wonderful intensity and depth in the mouth, it has a firm frame of grainy tannins and compelling freshness, finishing long and layered. (LPB)" (03/2018)
Starting Bid: $540.00

Bid on this 3-half-bottle lot of 2010 Ridge Vineyards Monte Bello Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (375ml) (98WS, 97JS, 97VN, 96RP, 96W&S, 95DC, 95ST). Wine Spectator: A highlight of the tasting, with rocking energy, dense black currant and black berry fruit and loads of singed wood thoroughly embedded throughout. Juicy bramble, alder and bay leaf notes chime in, with a mouthwatering mineral spine buried deep on the finish.—Non-blind Ridge Monte Bello vertical (June 2019). (JM, Web-2019)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Myriad "Three Twins Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94RP, 93JS, 92VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Three Twins Vineyard emerges from a site that winemaker Mike Smith has found in Conn Valley. The wine shows a more earthy side to his brilliant winemaking skills, showing blueberry and blackberry fruit, but there is more of an underlying minerality and loamy soil, earthiness. It is full-bodied, rich, pure, and multilayered aa well as textured. It should drink well for at least 20-25 years. (RP)" (12/2015)
Starting Bid: $160.00

Bid on this bottle of 2002 Harlan Estate Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (100RP, 99WE, 98ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The extraordinary Harlan Estate, which I awarded 100 points seven years ago, offers no justifiable reason to doubt its perfect score. It is still a baby, with an inky purple color and notes of smoky camphor intermixed with creme de cassis, Asian soy and a hint of cedar beginning to emerge as well as some espresso and subtle damp forest floor notes. The wine has awesome intensity, a full-bodied mouthfeel, a skyscraper-like texture, and a finish that goes on for close to a minute. This is a perfect wine, still youthful and young, and not even in full adolescence as of 2012. It has 40 or more years ahead of it, but should hit its plateau of full maturity in another 5-10 years. It is certainly one of the most showy, flamboyant and remarkable Harlan Estates made to date. Kudos to Bill Harlan! (RP)" (06/2012)
Starting Bid: $802.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Pahlmeyer Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (97RP, 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Medium to deep garnet in color with a hint of purple, the 2007 Proprietary Red Wine absolutely sings of violets, chocolate-covered cherries, mulberries, star anise and cinnamon stick with a core of cassis, spiced blueberries and warm red plums plus a touch of unsmoked cigars. Full-bodied and jam-packed with opulent black fruit, the palate has a rock-solid frame of grainy tannins and just enough freshness, finishing long and perfumed. (LPB)" (08/2018)
Starting Bid: $285.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2006 Anderson's Conn Valley "Estate Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The unfined, unfiltered 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve spends two years in French oak and another year in the bottle before being released. This cuvee has a long track record of aging (the 1990 and 1991 are still going strong). The dense ruby/purple-tinged 2006 offers notes of new saddle leather, black currants, autumnal vegetation/forest floor, cassis, and cherries, superb richness, and a full-bodied, powerful finish. (RP)" (12/2009)
Starting Bid: $100.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Peter Michael "Les Pavots" Knights Valley Bordeaux Blend (98JS, 98RP, 93DC, 93WS, 92VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Les Pavots, which is their proprietary red wine blend from Knights Valley, is a killer effort, and one of their all-time greats, ranking right up there with the 2007 or 1997. A blend of 69% Cabernet Sauvignon, 21% Cabernet Franc and the rest Merlot and Petit Verdot, there are 3, 600 cases of it. The wine displays plenty of mocha, chocolate, blackberry, creosote and charcoal in an incredibly complex fragrance. Full-bodied and opulent, it shows, loads of tannin, a hint of unsmoked cigar tobacco and plenty of black and blue fruits. Opaque purple to the rim, this wine is in need of a good 5-6 years of cellaring and certainly has 30-40 years of life in it. (RP) 98+" (12/2015)
Starting Bid: $270.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2018 Myriad "Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (99JD, 97RP, 94WS, 93VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "This iconic site located outside of St. Helena always produces a rich, powerful wine, and the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard is no exception, offering loads of black and blue fruits, gravelly earth, chocolate, and Asian spice notes as well as a full-bodied, opulent, sexy profile on the palate. With a beautiful sense of freshness, ripe, polished tannins, and a great finish, this gorgeous effort needs 2-3 years of bottle age and will cruise for 30 years or more." (08/2020)
Starting Bid: $260.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2017 Realm "Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98JD, 98JS, 98RP, 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr Crane Vineyard does not disappoint. Deep garnet-purple colored, it flies out of the glass with gregarious scents of black cherries, blueberries and boysenberries plus hints of potpourri, sandalwood, Chinese five spice, cast-iron pan and fragrant earth. Characteristically full-bodied, rich and full-on seductive, the palate is packed with generous, perfumed black fruits, supported by firm, ripe tannins and well-knit freshness, finishing mineral-laced and with epic persistence. (LPB)" (10/2020)
Starting Bid: $540.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2009 Merus Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (93ST, 93WS, 92RP). Wine Spectator: "Intense and concentrated, with a rich array of dark berry built around currant, blackberry, mineral, cedar and spice. Most impressive on the finish, where the flavors push through in style. Best from 2014 through 2028." (10/2012)
Starting Bid: $145.00

Bid on this magnum of 1997 Joseph Phelps "Insignia" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (1.5L) (100RP, 97WS, 95WE, 94ST, 93W&S). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "An inky/plum/purple color is accompanied by a stunning bouquet of violets, charcoal, creme de cassis and a hint of toast. Prodigious when it hits the palate with a full-bodied expansiveness, there is not a hard edge to be found in the 1997, only velvety tannins, compelling depth and fruit intensity, and stunning purity. It is a perfect expression of Napa viticulture and wine that should continue to age effortlessly for two decades or more. (RP)" (11/2013)
Starting Bid: $600.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1991 Caymus Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (90WS). Wine Spectator: "Dark color. Sturdy, rich and concentrated, with complex currant, black cherry, tar, and plum flavors. Lacks the finesse and extra dimensions of the Special Selection, but still a very impressive, concentrated wine. (JL, Web-2002)"
Starting Bid: $260.00

Bid on this bottle of 2016 Myriad "Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard - Elysian" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 97JD, 93VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Composed of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, the deep purple-black colored 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard Elysian gives up intense earthy notes of crushed rocks, iron ore, black truffles and fertile loam to begin, giving way to a stunning array of black fruits and floral scents—crushed black cherries, warm black berries, cassis, red roses and candied violets—with wafts of cigar box and pencil lead in the background. Full-bodied, rich and fantastically flamboyant in the mouth, the decadent fruit slowly grows on the palate to reveal layer upon layer of mineral, earthy and seductively spiced black fruits, finishing very long and wonderfully perfumed. This is Dr. Crane at its finest. (LPB)" (10/2018)
Starting Bid: $260.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1982 Beaulieu Vineyard "Georges de Latour Private Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (92JG, 90RP, 90VN). John Gilman: "The bouquet is deep, complex and classically Georges de Latour in its beautiful blend of red and black cherries, chocolate, a touch of coconutty oak, gentle cigar smoke and Rutherford dust in the upper register. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, deep and quite suave on the attack, with a fine core of fruit, gentle tannins, excellent focus and lovely length and grip on the pure, plush and refined finish. This is probably the last great classic vintage of the Georges de Latour bottling, and at least in magnum, it is drinking very well indeed and has plenty of life still ahead of it." (03/2009)
Starting Bid: $260.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1990 Spottswoode Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95RP, 90WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "1990 was the first vintage (4, 756 cases produced) and one of the most abundant before the replanting became essential because of phylloxera, and was again made at Robert Pepi. However, the percentage of Cabernet Franc jumped to 10% in the final blend. Mia Klein, who worked with Tony Soter, was part of the winemaking team. This wine performed beautifully, and had that Château Margaux-like finesse, elegance and richness. Beautiful blackcurrant notes, graphite, rose petal and licorice, were all present in this deep ruby/plum-colored wine that came across like a Napa version of a first-growth Médoc. It is medium to full-bodied, with beautiful, integrated tannin, acidity and wood. This should continue to drink well for another 10-15-plus years (RP)." (08/2016)
Starting Bid: $285.50

Bid on this bottle of 1995 Robert Mondavi "Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (92VN, 92WS). Vinous: "Sexy aromas of plum, spices, mocha and cedary cigar box, plus a whiff of meat. Plush, rich and sweet, with lovely currant and plum fruit lifted by bright herbs and spices and hint of caraway seed. Finishes with a firm dusting of tannins and noteworthy flavor authority and grip. One of the healthiest and most youthful 1995s in the tasting, offering very good concentration, palate coverage and energy. Finishes impressively ripe and long. (ST)" (06/2016)
Starting Bid: $100.00

Bid on this magnum of 1999 Shafer "Hillside Select" Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (95VN, 94CG, 94WS, 93RP). Vinous: "Bright, saturated ruby. Very ripe aromas of black cherry, licorice, molten chocolate, mint and minerals; some very ripe suggestions. Generous, plush and powerful if still youthful and brooding. The flavors of dark berries and spices show a chocolatey ripeness as well as a savory tobacco quality. Conveys a strong impression of depth and a tactile impression of extract. This thick, savory wine finishes with strong but suave tannins and terrific breadth and length, filling the mouth without turning ponderous. Very impressive! (ST)" (05/2019)
Starting Bid: $335.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 1992 Swanson Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (90WS). Wine Spectator: "Dark, ripe and intense, with well-focused currant, black cherry, spice and mineral flavors framed by toasty, spicy oak. Needs until 1999 to soften, but has all the ingredients for greatness." (12/1995)
Starting Bid: $120.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2009 Vineyard 7 & 8 "Vineyard 7" Spring Mountain District Cabernet Sauvignon (94W&S, 92RP, 91WE, 90ST). Wine & Spirits: "Luc Morlet blends this wine from estate fruit at the Steffens family’s vineyard as well as from growers on Spring Mountain. It’s a beautiful 2009, a wine of elegant texture, supple tannins and bright, sunny Cabernet fruit. There’s a mineral essence driving through that plump fruit, making the wine feel lithe and energized. This should reach prime drinking at five to six years from the vintage." (12/2012)
Starting Bid: $105.01

Bid on this bottle of 2018 Realm "Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 98JD, 98VN, 97JS). It saunters confidently out of the glass with compelling notes of warm black plums, blackcurrant cordial, Morello cherries and black raspberries followed by an opulent perfume of exotic spices, dusty soil, rose oil and crushed rocks with a waft of sandalwood. Full-bodied, rich, seductive and so, so spicy, the palate possesses a multitude of savory, earth and preserved fruit layers, framed by an achingly beautiful velvety texture and seamless freshness, finishing long, long, long—truly showing off its latent power. Like a gorgeous intellectual, this is a wine that will absolutely turn heads and create a stir. (LPB)" (10/2020)

Of the 1986 Robert Mondavi "Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Wine Enthusiast writes: "57% To Kalon. Gorgeously fresh bouquet. Blackcurrants, oak, cocoa, buttery caramel and char. Bid on this bottle of 2018 Realm "Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98JD, 98JS, 98RP, 97VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Deep garnet-purple colored, it rolls sensuously out of the glass with decadent scents of boysenberries, black cherries, redcurrant jelly and blackcurrant pastilles with hints of bouquet garni, black soil and iron ore. Full-bodied, the taut, tightly knit black and red fruit has a firm structure of ripe, grainy tannins and bags of freshness, finishing very long with loads of earth and mineral nuances coming through. Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Rivers-Marie Calistoga Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 93VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Calistoga is a killer effort. Sweet blueberry, black raspberry and blackberry fruit along with notes of vanilla, toast, licorice, incense and spice box emerge from this full-bodied, classic Napa Cabernet. With good acidity, ripe tannin and a broad, savory, multidimensional mouthfeel, this fabulous wine represents 200 cases of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon aged in 75% new oak. The finished alcohol is 14.3%. (RP)" (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $193.77

Bid on this bottle of 2006 O'Shaughnessy Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (94RP, 94VN, 92CG). Vinous: "(15.2% alcohol): Bright ruby-red. Highly complex yet discreet claret-like nose combines blueberry, cassis, violet, licorice, tobacco and menthol. Dense and savory, with its impression of medicinal reserve leavened by tobacco and earth notes. Conveys an impression of low acidity but quite concentrated and not short on energy. The blending grapes brought more sweetness, noted winemaker Capiaux, who described 2006 as "an up-and-down year with some heat spikes, " adding that the harvest continued through the month of October. Finishes with big, dusty, building tannins and outstanding length. Early on, I preferred the 2007 to the 2006, but today I like the balance of the '06 more. (ST)" (04/2018)
Starting Bid: $80.00

Bid on this bottle of 2018 Carter "Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard - La Verdad" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98JD, 96RP, 94VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "There are three releases from the Las Piedras Vineyard, an incredible site located just outside of St. Helena, a stone’s throw from the Dr. Crane Vineyard. Starting with the Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard La Verdad, this awesome wine reveals a dense purple/plum hue to go with a monster-sized bouquet of blackcurrants, camphor, chocolate, crushed stone-like minerality, and loads of Asian spice. Complex, powerful, and nuanced on the nose, it doesn’t lose a beat on the palate. 98+" (06/2020)

Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2018 Materium comes from the Weitz Vineyard in Oakville and is all Cabernet Sauvignon brought up in mostly new barrels. It's a very different wine than the Amoenus release and has more elegant, seamless aromas and flavors of crème de cassis, black raspberries, tobacco leaf, flowery incense, and sandalwood. Château Margaux-like in its elegance and complexity, this brilliant wine has loads of sweet fruit, flawless integration of its tannins and acidity, flawless balance, and just a heavenly overall profile that I wish every reader could taste. This extraordinary effort can be drunk today or cellared for 30 years or more." (01/2021)

Its dark plum/purple color is accompanied by aromas and flavors of truffles, forest floor, black cherries, black currants, and Asian spices. One of the finest wines of the vintage, it is complete, full-bodied, and seamlessly built with beautiful ripe tannins, low acidity, and a luscious, layered mouthfeel. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The flagship, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Materium, represents 560 cases and achieved 14.8% alcohol after aging in 90% new Taransaud and Darnajou casks. Remarkably, the wine matches the perfect 2013, with extraordinary fragrance of blueberry, blackberry, forest floor, truffle, spring flowers and background barbecue smoke followed by a thick, unctuously textured, juicy, but incredibly well-balanced, intense wine. This is built like a skyscraper with enormous quantities of blueberry, blackberry and cassis fruit, well-integrated acidity and sweet, gentle tannins. This is an extraordinary effort from Maybach that can be drunk now or cellared for up to 30 or more years. (RP)" (10/2016)

Round, plump, and hedonistic, it should drink well for a decade. (RP)" (12/2007)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Composed of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Petit Verdot, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Cult is a blend of both of the estate vineyards: Stags Ridge and Soda Canyon, with 15% blended from Rutherford and Oakville. It was aged in 100% new oak. Deep garnet-purple colored, it prances out of the glass with showy black fruit notions of preserved plums, baked blueberries and crème de cassis plus suggestions of hoisin, cedar chest, pencil lead and tilled soil with a touch of sautéed herbs. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is filled with black fruit preserves with loads of exotic spice and herbal sparks, framed by chewy tannins and oodles of freshness, finishing earthy. Bid on this bottle of 1974 Heitz Cellar "Martha's Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, 97JG, 92JD). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "I had this wine twice over a period of thirty days, rating it an astounding 99 and 98 points. A monumental California Cabernet Sauvignon, it appears to have approached its plateau of maturity but should easily last for 20-25 more years. There is no rust, amber, or brown to the saturated dark purple color. The spectacular, huge, Mouton-Rothschild-like nose of mint, cassis, lead pencil, and toast is remarkably youthful. Staggeringly concentrated, this full-bodied, super-rich wine possesses moderate tannin, fresh, lively acidity, and a blockbuster, rich, fleshy finish. This is a monumental effort! (RP)" (08/1994)
Starting Bid: $1,200.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 1976 Freemark Abbey Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (91JG). John Gilman: "The 1976 Freemark Abbey cabernet sauvignon is a lovely example of the vintage, with the 'dried fruit character' of this drought year, but with a sweet, extant core and lovely focus and balance still defining the wine as it closes in on its fortieth birthday. The excellent nose jumps from the glass in a blend of desiccated cherries, Rutherford dust, petroleum jelly, dried spice tones and gentle notes of woodsmoke in the upper register. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied and velvety, with excellent complexity, a fine core, still just a touch of tannin on the backend and a long, tangy and beautifully balanced finish. Really a lovely bottle of wine at its apogee, but still with plenty of life in it. Drink between 2015-2025." (08/2015)
Starting Bid: $220.00

Bid on this bottle of 2018 Memento Mori "Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon.
Starting Bid: $188.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1991 Chateau Montelena "Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96ST, 95RP, 95VN, 91WS). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "The darkest of these wines so far: deep red-ruby. Some sexy high tones lift the complex aromas of black fruits, dried cherry, potpourri spices and earth. Initially a bit clenched but quickly revealed a silky texture, with perfectly integrated acidity enlivening the mid-palate flavors of red and darker berries, tobacco and spices accented by a minty nuance. This supple yet somehow youthful wine is perhaps most impressive on its inexorable, slowly building aftertaste, where the tannins are in perfect harmony with the fruit. A splendid Napa Valley Cabernet from a long growing season featuring a late harvest. (ST)" (05/2019)
Starting Bid: $420.00

Bid on this bottle of 2018 Myriad "Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard - Elysian" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100JD, 97RP, 96VN, 93WS). Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard Elysian is another heavenly wine from this estate that shows a more elegant, seamless style with its incredible perfume of crème de cassis, graphite, white flowers, flowery incense, and unsmoked tobacco. Deep, full-bodied, and concentrated, it offers building tannins, no hard edges, and a great finish. About as seamless as they come, with ultra-fine tannins and flawless balance, this heavenly, seamless, magical wine will benefit from short-term cellaring and keep for 40 years or more. " (08/2020)
Starting Bid: $170.00

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 1984 William Hill "Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (91WS). (04/1988)
Starting Bid: $175.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2010 Philip Togni "Estate" Spring Mountain District Cabernet Sauvignon (95RP, 95VN, 94ST, 93JG). Vinous: "Musky but precise scents of dark mountain berries, wild herbs, violet and spices; a distinctly wild style of Cabernet. Uncompromisingly dry yet surprisingly supple on entry, then intense, sharply delineated and alive in the middle palate, showing a repeating pungent wild herb quality to its intense dark berry flavors. Not at all a sweet style but subtle and extremely long, with the tannins remarkably suave for mountain fruit. There's a peppery, savory energy here that I love but also plenty of body and palate presence. Finishes with terrific lift and emerging notes of leather and pine needles. A bit sauvage and idiosyncratic, this Cabernet is the full Togni. Boasts outstanding potential longevity. (ST)" (05/2020)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2005 Beringer "Private Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95RP, 93W&S, 93WS, 91VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Beringer’s 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon Private Reserve comes from the top selection from all their different holdings, with each vineyard aged separately for close to two years, then blended for quality. This blend of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc is a gorgeous example of the Private Reserve. Of course, it probably suffers from the fact that Beringer is part of a gigantic international conglomerate, but this is just a stunning wine -- inky purple, with plenty of cassis, a hint of espresso, subtle background oak and forest notes. The color is opaque and the wine full-bodied and opulent, with sweet tannin and a multilayered mouthfeel. It has silky tannins, good freshness and uplifting acid, which should ensure a considerable longevity of 15-20 additional years. This is a stunner. (RP) 95+" (06/2015)

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2002 Robert Foley Napa Valley Claret (96WS, 95RP, 95ST). Wine Spectator: "Dark, rich and massive, with gobs of flavor built around vibrant currant, blackberry and wild berry fruit, layers of exotic spicy oak nuances and rather big, ripe tannins. Yet for all its size, it's powerful and balanced, with a long, luxurious aftertaste. (JL)" (05/2005)

Bid on this bottle of 2001 Plumpjack "Reserve" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (94RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The most evolved, the 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve, appears to be close to full maturity, although it is capable of lasting another 10-15+ years. The creamier of these two wines, it reveals abundant black currant, cedar, licorice, graphite and inky characteristics, medium to full body and a ripe, opulent, spicy personality. (RP)" (06/2011)

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Schrader "Beckstoffer To Kalon - RBS" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, 96VN, 94JS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This wine seems slightly more expansive, shares the black ruby/purple color with all of it siblings, and has a boatload of crème de cassis, incense, licorice, graphite and vanilla along with plenty of spice box and forest floor. This is a killer, full-bodied, super-duper, opulent Cabernet Sauvignon to drink over the next 20 years. (RP)" (10/2014)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2018 Morlet "Passionnément" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (100JD, 97RP). Jeb Dunnuck: "The ripest, most sexy, and opulent in the lineup, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Passionnement is pure magic in a glass and tops out on my scale. Reminding me of some of the older Harlan Estate releases with its massive yet seamless style, this beauty boasts a monster bouquet of chocolate covered blackcurrants, lavender, crushed violets, new leather, unsmoked tobacco, and flowery incense. Coming from a selection of the top barrels in the vintage, this full-bodied, masterful Cabernet is gorgeously textured and has a stacked, layered mid-palate, perfectly ripe tannins, and a great finish. I followed this bottle for multiple days and it never grew tired or oxidized (which is rare). It’s one of those wines that’s going to drink brilliantly for all of its life. Enjoy this beauty any time over the coming 20-30 years." (01/2021)
