Bid on this bottle of 2013 San Guido "Sassicaia" Bolgheri (98JS, 98WE, 97RP, 95DC, 95WS, 93W&S). Wine Enthusiast: "Red berry, cedar and light spice aromas lead the way on this dazzling red. The vibrant palate is loaded with finesse, delivering bright red currant, red raspberry, white pepper and chopped herb alongside bright acidity and firm, polished tannins. Impeccably balanced, it's loaded with elegance, energy and intensity but it's still young, so give it time to fully develop. *Top 100 Cellar Selections of 2017, No. 19* (KO)" (03/2017)

Bid on this bottle of 1998 Tenuta dell'Ornellaia "Ornellaia" Bolgheri Superiore (99DC, 98JS, 96WS, 94ST, 94VN, 93RP). Decanter: "1998 is most likely the best vintage ever for Ornellaia. Petit Verdot was not yet used in the blend. Evolved bramble fruits meld with forest floor, helichrysum and Mediterranean herb aromas. On the palate this wine dazzles with the vibrancy of the best Pomerol-like minerality, with a tight-knit structure of velvety yet lively tannins amongst the fruit, and delicate acidity pushing a slightly pyrazinic finish with long, dark notes of Marmite and cigar-box supported by some citrus notes. Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2015 San Guido "Sassicaia" Bolgheri (98DC, 98JS, 97RP, 97W&S, 97WE, 97WS, 95VN). James Suckling: "Love the aromas to this young red with blackcurrants, sage, cinnamon and five-spice character. Changes all the time. Full-bodied, dense and powerful with a ripe and rich tannin backbone that gives form and beauty to the ripe and beautiful fruit. Tight and very long. Approachable now but will reward more in five to six years. A classic Sassicaia." (01/2018)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Tenuta dell'Ornellaia "Ornellaia" Bolgheri Superiore (98DC, 98JD, 98JS, 98RP, 96VN, 96WS, 95WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2016 Bolgheri Superiore Ornellaia is a wine of extreme complexity and precision. It offers monumental depth with profound layers of black fruit, coffee, licorice and baking chocolate. I tasted this 2016 vintage beside the less-impactful 2015 vintage (which was reviewed last year). These two editions are very different when compared side to side, and this 2016 release is clearly superior in terms of the quality, clarity and intensity of its offerings. This Ornellaia delivers glossy shine and a polished texture that segues to important richness, concentration and textural fiber. (ML)" (04/2019)

Bid on this bottle of 2006 Tenuta San Guido "Sassicaia" Bolgheri (99DC, 97VN, 96RP, 95JS, 95ST, 94WE, 94WS). Decanter: "This 2006 has guts and glory, there is stuffing here. The exotic heat comes through like a pan-seared filet steak, nothing more than a flash fire that gives way to succulence. More exoticism with the dancing array of flavours, from plums, damson and spices to forest fruits and heather then the menthol kicks comes in. You just want to linger over this glass, pick apart the individual flavours and get to understand what it is saying. (JA)" (12/2016)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2009 Castello Dei Rampolla "Sammarco" Toscana (96VN, 93JS, 92W&S). Vinous: "A dark, immediate wine, the 2009 Sammarco hits the palate with waves of generous dark fruit. Black cherry, plum, smoke, tobacco and incense flesh out in a succulent Sammarco that won't require decades to give its best. This is an unusually open, resonant Sammarco. (AG)" (10/2015)
Starting Bid: $100.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2008 Tenuta Sette Ponti "Oreno" Toscana (96JS, 96RP, 96WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2008 Oreno is stunningly beautiful. An open, expressive bouquet laced with mint, red berries, roses and spices emerges with superb clarity and balance. The tension between the minerality of the vintage and the rich expression of fruit that is one of the house’s hallmarks play off each other beautifully here. The finish is utterly exquisite in its beguiling beauty. The 2008 isn’t the most powerful Oreno ever made, but it is quite possibly the most elegant, impeccably refined wine I have ever tasted here. Simply put, it is fabulous juice! In 2008 the percentage of Sangiovese is way down and Oreno is predominantly Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, a decision that has paid off handsomely. (AG)" (10/2010)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2016 San Guido "Sassicaia" Bolgheri (100DC, 100RP, 98WE, 97JS, 97VN, 97WS, 95JD). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2016 Sassicaia is a wine of soaring achievement. I tasted this wine several times during the course of its creation in both barrel and bottle, and the highly deserved 100-point score you see here was enthusiastically assigned at the conclusion of a mini vertical in which I tasted and compared the 2016 vintage against 2015 (which I scored 97 points). It makes perfect sense to present these two excellent vintages in back-to-back comparison fashion because they are two of the best to emerge from Bolgheri, and indeed Tenuta San Guido, in recent memory. These are very similar vintages with long, hot summer months that fueled a long growing season. (ML)" (01/2019)

Bid on this bottle of 1985 Tenuta San Guido "Sassicaia" Bolgheri (100DC, 100RP, 98VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Oddly enough, the 1985 Sassicaia was the wine least commented during the conversations that followed this retrospective. Our panel consisted of some two dozen professional wine tasters from around the world, and virtually not a word was uttered with regards to this wine. That's how truly outstanding it is. The soaring beauty of this landmark Sassicaia literally transcends the rather mundane realm of wine critique with its string of adjectives and wearisome descriptors. It hardly deserves to be treated like any of the other gorgeous wines we tasted on this glorious day. In truth, the 1985 Sassicaia does reveal a new perspective onto its perfection each time you have the fortune to taste it. (ML)" (04/2017)

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2011 Fattoria Le Pupille "Saffredi" Maremma Toscana (OWC - 95JS, 93RP, 92VN) in original wood. James Suckling: "I love the aromas of black truffles, rosemary, dark fruits, rose petals and stones. It shows so many characteristics of Tuscany on the nose. Full body with super-fine tannins and a long finish. Tannins and all in place. Wonderful texture. " (11/2014)
