Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Myriad "Three Twins Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94RP, 93JS, 92VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Three Twins Vineyard emerges from a site that winemaker Mike Smith has found in Conn Valley. The wine shows a more earthy side to his brilliant winemaking skills, showing blueberry and blackberry fruit, but there is more of an underlying minerality and loamy soil, earthiness. It is full-bodied, rich, pure, and multilayered aa well as textured. It should drink well for at least 20-25 years. (RP)" (12/2015)
Starting Bid: $160.00

Bid on this bottle of 1991 Philip Togni Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 90VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "It is one of the most unique wines I have ever tasted from Togni. The warm year yielded an abundant crop. At the time, Togni also made a white wine. Because of the size of the crop, the harvest took longer than normal, which meant the red grapes spent a little longer on the vine than they would have otherwise. The 1991 presents an intriguing combination of raciness from the super-ripe fruit, but within the classic Togni framework. Sweet tobacco, camphor, savory herbs, licorice and worn-in leather are some of the nuances that add complexity to the fruit. Layers of liqueur-like sweetness frame the beguiling finish. The 1991 is currently peaking, and it won’t last forever, but readers lucky enough to taste this wine are in for a real treat. I have been fortunate to taste the 1991 twice over the last few months, and it has been hypnotic both times. (AG)" (12/2011)
Starting Bid: $220.00

Bid on this bottle of 2005 Harris "Treva's Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon Treva’s Vineyard is a slightly bigger wine (15.2% natural alcohol) and has an almost inky purple color to the rim. Its great concentration ratchets up the level that exists in the Jake’s Creek to a surreal, even sublime quality. This is stunningly rich, with crème de cassis, blackberry, cedar wood, licorice and incense. This wine is full-bodied, multidimensional and still quite youthful and backward. Nevertheless, it’s locked and loaded, so to speak, very full, opulent and promising. (RP) 95+" (06/2015)
Starting Bid: $50.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2013 Chateau Montelena "Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 95DC, 95VN, 94WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate opens with profound black and red currant cordial notes over an undercurrent of Indian spices, chargrill, scorched earth and bay leaves. Medium-bodied with wonderful intensity and depth in the mouth, it has a firm frame of grainy tannins and compelling freshness, finishing long and layered. (LPB)" (03/2018)
Starting Bid: $540.00

Bid on this 3-half-bottle lot of 2013 Ridge Vineyards Monte Bello Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (375ml) (98VN, 95W&S). Vinous: The 2013 Monte Bello is utterly spellbinding in its beauty. Finely sculpted and chiseled, with super-expressive aromatics and searing tannins, the 2013 is shaping up to be a modern-day classic. The 2013 is remarkably pure and vibrant for such a big wine. It will be years before the 2013 is close to being ready to drink. Even so, it is magnificent today. Where will the 2013 end up? The future seems limitless for now. Quite simply, the 2013 is a must-have wine. In 2013, Monte Bello is very heavy in Cabernet Sauvignon, partly because Merlot suffered in the drought-like conditions. The 2013 has already begun to shut down in bottle. Readers need to be in for the long haul. (AG) (07/2016)

Bid on this bottle of 2002 Harlan Estate Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (100RP, 99WE, 98ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The extraordinary Harlan Estate, which I awarded 100 points seven years ago, offers no justifiable reason to doubt its perfect score. It is still a baby, with an inky purple color and notes of smoky camphor intermixed with creme de cassis, Asian soy and a hint of cedar beginning to emerge as well as some espresso and subtle damp forest floor notes. The wine has awesome intensity, a full-bodied mouthfeel, a skyscraper-like texture, and a finish that goes on for close to a minute. This is a perfect wine, still youthful and young, and not even in full adolescence as of 2012. It has 40 or more years ahead of it, but should hit its plateau of full maturity in another 5-10 years. It is certainly one of the most showy, flamboyant and remarkable Harlan Estates made to date. Kudos to Bill Harlan! (RP)" (06/2012)
Starting Bid: $925.00

Bid on this bottle of 2009 Lokoya Cabernet Sauvignon Mt. Veeder.
Starting Bid: $255.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2018 Myriad "Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (99JD, 97RP, 94WS, 93VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "This iconic site located outside of St. Helena always produces a rich, powerful wine, and the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard is no exception, offering loads of black and blue fruits, gravelly earth, chocolate, and Asian spice notes as well as a full-bodied, opulent, sexy profile on the palate. With a beautiful sense of freshness, ripe, polished tannins, and a great finish, this gorgeous effort needs 2-3 years of bottle age and will cruise for 30 years or more." (08/2020)
Starting Bid: $260.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1982 Beaulieu Vineyard "Georges de Latour Private Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (92JG, 90RP, 90VN). John Gilman: "The bouquet is deep, complex and classically Georges de Latour in its beautiful blend of red and black cherries, chocolate, a touch of coconutty oak, gentle cigar smoke and Rutherford dust in the upper register. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, deep and quite suave on the attack, with a fine core of fruit, gentle tannins, excellent focus and lovely length and grip on the pure, plush and refined finish. This is probably the last great classic vintage of the Georges de Latour bottling, and at least in magnum, it is drinking very well indeed and has plenty of life still ahead of it." (03/2009)
Starting Bid: $260.00

Bid on this magnum of 1979 Niebaum-Coppola Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L). The Niebaum-Coppola estate has a long and storied history, making some pretty stellar wines over the years. This large format 1979 was made under the watchful eye of legendary celebrated winemaker Andre Tchelistcheff.
Starting Bid: $90.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2004 Livingston Moffett "Gemstone Vineyard" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend. Situated in the Yountville AVA on the Rector Creek alluvial fan, the Gemstone vineyard contains a diverse selection of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Petite Verdot grapes with numerous clonal selections within these varietals. Each of these grapes are vinified and kept separate for evaluation prior to blending. The wine has primary aromas of blackberry and raspberry with a hint of vanilla, nutmeg and violets. On the palate, there is an effusive fruitiness underlain by raspberry liqueur and cassis.
Starting Bid: $100.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2006 Anderson's Conn Valley "Estate Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The unfined, unfiltered 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve spends two years in French oak and another year in the bottle before being released. This cuvee has a long track record of aging (the 1990 and 1991 are still going strong). The dense ruby/purple-tinged 2006 offers notes of new saddle leather, black currants, autumnal vegetation/forest floor, cassis, and cherries, superb richness, and a full-bodied, powerful finish. (RP)" (12/2009)
Starting Bid: $100.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2009 Merus Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (93ST, 93WS, 92RP). Wine Spectator: "Intense and concentrated, with a rich array of dark berry built around currant, blackberry, mineral, cedar and spice. Most impressive on the finish, where the flavors push through in style. Best from 2014 through 2028." (10/2012)
Starting Bid: $145.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1991 Caymus Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (90WS). Wine Spectator: "Dark color. Sturdy, rich and concentrated, with complex currant, black cherry, tar, and plum flavors. Lacks the finesse and extra dimensions of the Special Selection, but still a very impressive, concentrated wine. (JL, Web-2002)"
Starting Bid: $260.00

Bid on this magnum of 1997 Joseph Phelps "Insignia" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (1.5L) (100RP, 97WS, 95WE, 94ST, 93W&S). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "An inky/plum/purple color is accompanied by a stunning bouquet of violets, charcoal, creme de cassis and a hint of toast. Prodigious when it hits the palate with a full-bodied expansiveness, there is not a hard edge to be found in the 1997, only velvety tannins, compelling depth and fruit intensity, and stunning purity. It is a perfect expression of Napa viticulture and wine that should continue to age effortlessly for two decades or more. (RP)" (11/2013)
Starting Bid: $600.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 1988 Robert Mondavi "Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Dark ruby, with a light intensity nose of cassis and cigar box aromas, this wine exhibits good concentration, softness, adequate ripeness, and a short finish. (RP)" (04/1994)
Starting Bid: $360.00

Bid on this bottle of 2005 Pahlmeyer Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (95CG, 95RP, 94ST, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "As for the 2005 Proprietary Red, it is a blend of 84% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc and 1% each Petit Verdot and Malbec. While this might not be the blockbuster one would expect, there is outstanding depth, purity and overall texture and ripeness. Again, terrific acidity gives the wine vigor and precision, despite a lofty 15.2% alcohol. The wine is fresh and pure, with black raspberry and blackcurrant fruit, some white floral notes, and the telltale forest floor. Pahlmeyer’s wines age well, as I am still working off the 1995 and 1996 Proprietary Reds, which remain in great shape. (RP)" (06/2015)
Starting Bid: $110.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2017 Realm "Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98JD, 98JS, 98RP, 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr Crane Vineyard does not disappoint. Deep garnet-purple colored, it flies out of the glass with gregarious scents of black cherries, blueberries and boysenberries plus hints of potpourri, sandalwood, Chinese five spice, cast-iron pan and fragrant earth. Characteristically full-bodied, rich and full-on seductive, the palate is packed with generous, perfumed black fruits, supported by firm, ripe tannins and well-knit freshness, finishing mineral-laced and with epic persistence. (LPB)" (10/2020)
Starting Bid: $540.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2008 Scarecrow "M. Etain" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon in original wood. The inaugural vintage of Scarecrow's "second label" wine, M. Étain comes from a selection of fruit hand-picked from the J.J. Cohn Estate in Rutherford. The wine is cleverly named after the Tin Man from Wizard of Oz, "Étain" being French for "Tin." Pretty cherry, raspberry, and plum fruit notes on the nose and palate are deftly interwoven with cookie spices, cigar box, coffee, licorice, chocolate, and vanilla bean. Silky tannins make this approachable now.
Starting Bid: $600.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 1989 Robert Mondavi "Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Vinous: "Healthy dark red. Cassis, plum, leather and cedar on the nose; reminded me a bit of a fully mature vintage of Mouton-Rothschild. (ST)" (05/2016)
Starting Bid: $245.00

Bid on this bottle of 2007 Shafer "Hillside Select" Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 97JS, 97WE, 95VN, 94DC, 92W&S). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Deep purple-black colored, the 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Hillside Select exudes beautiful notions of violets, dark chocolate, black olives, spice cake and cedar chest with a core of crème de cassis, blackberry pie, plum preserves and fragrant earth plus a waft of unsmoked cigars. Full-bodied, super concentrated and jam-packed with multilayered black and blue fruits, it has a rock-solid frame of grainy tannins and fantastic freshness, finishing long with tons of exotic spice and savory sparks. (LPB)" (08/2018)

Bid on this bottle of 2018 Carter "Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard - La Verdad" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98JD, 96RP, 94VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "There are three releases from the Las Piedras Vineyard, an incredible site located just outside of St. Helena, a stone’s throw from the Dr. Crane Vineyard. Starting with the Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard La Verdad, this awesome wine reveals a dense purple/plum hue to go with a monster-sized bouquet of blackcurrants, camphor, chocolate, crushed stone-like minerality, and loads of Asian spice. Complex, powerful, and nuanced on the nose, it doesn’t lose a beat on the palate. 98+" (06/2020)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this bottle of 2018 Realm "Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 98JD, 98VN, 97JS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr Crane Vineyard displays an opaque purple-black color. It saunters confidently out of the glass with compelling notes of warm black plums, blackcurrant cordial, Morello cherries and black raspberries followed by an opulent perfume of exotic spices, dusty soil, rose oil and crushed rocks with a waft of sandalwood. Full-bodied, rich, seductive and so, so spicy, the palate possesses a multitude of savory, earth and preserved fruit layers, framed by an achingly beautiful velvety texture and seamless freshness, finishing long, long, long—truly showing off its latent power. Like a gorgeous intellectual, this is a wine that will absolutely turn heads and create a stir. (LPB)" (10/2020)
Starting Bid: $400.00

Bid on this magnum of 2013 Scarecrow Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (OWC - 100RP, 97VN, 95WS) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The prodigious 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, including fruit from some of the oldest Cabernet vines still in existence in Napa. This full-bodied classic displays notes of forest floor, earth, crème de cassis, blackberry liqueur, licorice and some pen ink. It is dense, full-bodied, prodigiously rich, massive in intensity, yet relatively light on its feet. This great ballerina of a wine has extraordinary ripeness but pulls back from the edge before going over the top. There are 1, 000 cases of this classic, which should age effortlessly for 30+ years. (RP)" (12/2015)
Starting Bid: $1,180.00

Bid on this magnum of 1999 Shafer "Hillside Select" Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (95VN, 94CG, 94WS, 93RP). Vinous: "Bright, saturated ruby. Very ripe aromas of black cherry, licorice, molten chocolate, mint and minerals; some very ripe suggestions. Generous, plush and powerful if still youthful and brooding. The flavors of dark berries and spices show a chocolatey ripeness as well as a savory tobacco quality. Conveys a strong impression of depth and a tactile impression of extract. This thick, savory wine finishes with strong but suave tannins and terrific breadth and length, filling the mouth without turning ponderous. Very impressive! (ST)" (05/2019)
Starting Bid: $335.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2005 Pride Mountain Napa-Sonoma Counties Cabernet Sauvignon (92RP, 92WE, 90VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The deep ruby/purple-colored 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon (58% from Napa and 42% from Sonoma) possesses a full-bodied mouthfeel as well as loads of cassis fruit, and smoky, subtle oak in the background. Round, plump, and hedonistic, it should drink well for a decade. (RP)" (12/2007)
Starting Bid: $200.00

Bid on this bottle of 1982 Shafer Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (90WS). Wine Spectator: "No tasting note given." (06/1985)
Starting Bid: $100.01

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2009 Vineyard 7 & 8 "Vineyard 7" Spring Mountain District Cabernet Sauvignon (94W&S, 92RP, 91WE, 90ST). Wine & Spirits: "Luc Morlet blends this wine from estate fruit at the Steffens family’s vineyard as well as from growers on Spring Mountain. It’s a beautiful 2009, a wine of elegant texture, supple tannins and bright, sunny Cabernet fruit. There’s a mineral essence driving through that plump fruit, making the wine feel lithe and energized. This should reach prime drinking at five to six years from the vintage." (12/2012)
Starting Bid: $105.01

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2018 Maybach "Materium" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (100JD, 98RP). Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2018 Materium comes from the Weitz Vineyard in Oakville and is all Cabernet Sauvignon brought up in mostly new barrels. It's a very different wine than the Amoenus release and has more elegant, seamless aromas and flavors of crème de cassis, black raspberries, tobacco leaf, flowery incense, and sandalwood. Château Margaux-like in its elegance and complexity, this brilliant wine has loads of sweet fruit, flawless integration of its tannins and acidity, flawless balance, and just a heavenly overall profile that I wish every reader could taste. This extraordinary effort can be drunk today or cellared for 30 years or more." (01/2021)
Starting Bid: $627.00

Bid on this bottle of 2006 O'Shaughnessy Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (94RP, 94VN, 92CG). Vinous: "(15.2% alcohol): Bright ruby-red. Highly complex yet discreet claret-like nose combines blueberry, cassis, violet, licorice, tobacco and menthol. Dense and savory, with its impression of medicinal reserve leavened by tobacco and earth notes. Conveys an impression of low acidity but quite concentrated and not short on energy. The blending grapes brought more sweetness, noted winemaker Capiaux, who described 2006 as "an up-and-down year with some heat spikes, " adding that the harvest continued through the month of October. Finishes with big, dusty, building tannins and outstanding length. Early on, I preferred the 2007 to the 2006, but today I like the balance of the '06 more. (ST)" (04/2018)
Starting Bid: $82.00

Bid on this 2-bottle tasting lot in original wood; including 1-bottle of 1999 Quintessa Rutherford Bordeaux Blend (93WE, 91WS, 90ST) and 1-bottle of 1999 Quintessa Rutherford Bordeaux Blend (375mL) (90ST). Of the 1999 Quintessa Rutherford Bordeaux Blend, Wine Enthusiast writes: "Displays distinct valley-floor qualities, with its well-ripened black-currant fruit and soft, intricately woven tannins. Feels rich and lush in the mouth, and coats the palate through the long finish. Oak provides a context, but doesn’t overwhelm. (SH)" (12/2002)
Starting Bid: $120.00

Of the 1986 Robert Mondavi "Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Wine Enthusiast writes: "57% To Kalon. Gorgeously fresh bouquet. Blackcurrants, oak, cocoa, buttery caramel and char. Drinking really young, firm, fresh. Very dry, balanced, not a powerful wine but elegant, harmonious. Light and pretty." (06/2005)
Starting Bid: $260.00

Bid on this bottle of 2018 Realm "Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98JD, 98JS, 98RP, 97VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Deep garnet-purple colored, it rolls sensuously out of the glass with decadent scents of boysenberries, black cherries, redcurrant jelly and blackcurrant pastilles with hints of bouquet garni, black soil and iron ore. Full-bodied, the taut, tightly knit black and red fruit has a firm structure of ripe, grainy tannins and bags of freshness, finishing very long with loads of earth and mineral nuances coming through. (LPB) 98+" (10/2020)
Starting Bid: $350.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Modicum Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon. A letter from Chef Thomas Keller and Laura Cunningham, November 9, 2017: "We established Modicum wine from both a blending point of view as well as a unique design; we have prided ourselves on our small production over the past seventeen years."
Starting Bid: $360.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Rivers-Marie Calistoga Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 93VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Calistoga is a killer effort. Sweet blueberry, black raspberry and blackberry fruit along with notes of vanilla, toast, licorice, incense and spice box emerge from this full-bodied, classic Napa Cabernet. With good acidity, ripe tannin and a broad, savory, multidimensional mouthfeel, this fabulous wine represents 200 cases of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon aged in 75% new oak. The finished alcohol is 14.3%. (RP)" (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $200.00

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 1984 William Hill "Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (91WS). (04/1988)
Starting Bid: $175.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Dominus Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (100DC, 100JS, 100RP, 100VN). Vinous: "The 2013 Dominus overwhelms all the senses with its magnificent overall balance and towering intensity. Deep and nearly impenetrable in the glass, the 2013 boasts off the charts dry extract and overall power. Violets, smoke, black cherries, menthol, incense, crème de cassis and dark spices are some of the many signatures that take shape in the glass. Even better in bottle than it was in barrel, the 2013 is utterly magnificent. This is a remarkably vivid, nuanced wine considering its sheer size. (AG)" (10/2015)
Starting Bid: $920.00

Bid on this bottle of 2018 Memento Mori "Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon.
Starting Bid: $188.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2010 Philip Togni "Estate" Spring Mountain District Cabernet Sauvignon (95RP, 95VN, 94ST, 93JG). Vinous: "Musky but precise scents of dark mountain berries, wild herbs, violet and spices; a distinctly wild style of Cabernet. Uncompromisingly dry yet surprisingly supple on entry, then intense, sharply delineated and alive in the middle palate, showing a repeating pungent wild herb quality to its intense dark berry flavors. Not at all a sweet style but subtle and extremely long, with the tannins remarkably suave for mountain fruit. There's a peppery, savory energy here that I love but also plenty of body and palate presence. Finishes with terrific lift and emerging notes of leather and pine needles. A bit sauvage and idiosyncratic, this Cabernet is the full Togni. Boasts outstanding potential longevity. (ST)" (05/2020)
Starting Bid: $330.00

Bid on this bottle of 1974 Heitz Cellar "Martha's Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, 97JG, 92JD). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "I had this wine twice over a period of thirty days, rating it an astounding 99 and 98 points. A monumental California Cabernet Sauvignon, it appears to have approached its plateau of maturity but should easily last for 20-25 more years. There is no rust, amber, or brown to the saturated dark purple color. The spectacular, huge, Mouton-Rothschild-like nose of mint, cassis, lead pencil, and toast is remarkably youthful. Staggeringly concentrated, this full-bodied, super-rich wine possesses moderate tannin, fresh, lively acidity, and a blockbuster, rich, fleshy finish. This is a monumental effort! (RP)" (08/1994)
Starting Bid: $1,200.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2006 Beringer "Private Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (93RP, 93VN, 91JS). Vinous: "Deep ruby. Aromas of blackberry, violet, licorice pastille, menthol and nutty oak, along with a liqueur-like suggestion of kirsch; suggests less uniform fruit ripeness than the 2005 and 2004 versions. Then sweeter and more open-knit in the mouth than the '05, with the intense flavors of dark berries, licorice and violet well supported by a rather powerful spine of sweet tannins. Finishes strong and long. (ST)" (07/2015)
Starting Bid: $130.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1991 Chateau Montelena "Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96ST, 95RP, 95VN, 91WS). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "The darkest of these wines so far: deep red-ruby. Some sexy high tones lift the complex aromas of black fruits, dried cherry, potpourri spices and earth. Initially a bit clenched but quickly revealed a silky texture, with perfectly integrated acidity enlivening the mid-palate flavors of red and darker berries, tobacco and spices accented by a minty nuance. This supple yet somehow youthful wine is perhaps most impressive on its inexorable, slowly building aftertaste, where the tannins are in perfect harmony with the fruit. A splendid Napa Valley Cabernet from a long growing season featuring a late harvest. (ST)" (05/2019)
Starting Bid: $420.00

Bid on this bottle of 2007 Herb Lamb Vineyards "EII" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. From the producer: "It seems like only yesterday that we arrived at our seven-acres in the foothills of Howell Mountain in St. Helena with big dreams. The rocky hillside, ranging from 600 to 800 feet in elevation, was cleared and wide terraces were graded in preparation for planting. Our dreams have become a reality — we've just recently celebrated 25 years of grape growing in the Napa Valley."
Starting Bid: $45.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 1976 Freemark Abbey Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (91JG). John Gilman: "The 1976 Freemark Abbey cabernet sauvignon is a lovely example of the vintage, with the 'dried fruit character' of this drought year, but with a sweet, extant core and lovely focus and balance still defining the wine as it closes in on its fortieth birthday. The excellent nose jumps from the glass in a blend of desiccated cherries, Rutherford dust, petroleum jelly, dried spice tones and gentle notes of woodsmoke in the upper register. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied and velvety, with excellent complexity, a fine core, still just a touch of tannin on the backend and a long, tangy and beautifully balanced finish. Really a lovely bottle of wine at its apogee, but still with plenty of life in it. Drink between 2015-2025." (08/2015)
Starting Bid: $220.00

Bid on this bottle of 2001 Plumpjack "Reserve" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (94RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The most evolved, the 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve, appears to be close to full maturity, although it is capable of lasting another 10-15+ years. The creamier of these two wines, it reveals abundant black currant, cedar, licorice, graphite and inky characteristics, medium to full body and a ripe, opulent, spicy personality. (RP)" (06/2011)
Starting Bid: $110.00

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Schrader "Beckstoffer To Kalon - RBS" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, 96VN, 94JS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This wine seems slightly more expansive, shares the black ruby/purple color with all of it siblings, and has a boatload of crème de cassis, incense, licorice, graphite and vanilla along with plenty of spice box and forest floor. This is a killer, full-bodied, super-duper, opulent Cabernet Sauvignon to drink over the next 20 years. (RP)" (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $270.00

Bid on this 4-bottle tasting lot; including 2-bottles of 1990 Silverado Vineyards "Limited Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97WS) and 2-bottles of 1990 Silverado Vineyards Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon (90WS). Of the 1990 Silverado Vineyards "Limited Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Wine Spectator writes: "Amazing fruit purity and depth to this stunning wine (though one bottle tried tasted drier and tannic), rich with bright, sharply focused blackcherry, currant, plum, anise and cedary tobacco, showing concentration and complexity. *#3 Top 100 wines of 1993* (JL)" (02/2001)
Starting Bid: $190.00

Bid on this bottle of 2006 Caymus "Special Selection" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95WS, 94JS, 92CG). Wine Spectator: "Beautifully proportioned, rich in dark berry, dusty cedar and loamy earth, black licorice, herb, olive and tobacco notes, with all the pieces fitting together nicely, ending in a long, tapered aftertaste. Bid on this 1-half-bottle lot of 2013 Dominus Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (375ml) (100DC, 100JS, 100RP, 100VN). Vinous: The 2013 Dominus overwhelms all the senses with its magnificent overall balance and towering intensity. (AG) (10/2015)
