Bid on this magnum of 2018 Myriad "Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (99JD, 97RP). Jeb Dunnuck: "This iconic site located outside of St. Helena always produces a rich, powerful wine, and the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard is no exception, offering loads of black and blue fruits, gravelly earth, chocolate, and Asian spice notes as well as a full-bodied, opulent, sexy profile on the palate. With a beautiful sense of freshness, ripe, polished tannins, and a great finish, this gorgeous effort needs 2-3 years of bottle age and will cruise for 30 years or more." (08/2020)
Starting Bid: $325.00

Bid on this magnum of 2015 Schrader "Old Sparky" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (100JD, 97RP, 96JS). Jeb Dunnuck: "A wine that got more than one expletive in my notes, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Old Sparky is a barrel selection and is mostly clone 6 with smaller amounts of clone 4. Pure crème de cassis, blueberries, violets, white chocolate, and white flower notes all soar from this inky 2015 which is full-bodied, powerful, yet weightless and elegant. Its tannins are covered by a wealth of fruit, it has no hard edges, perfect integration of its fruit, tannin, acidity, and alcohol, and a finish that just won’t quit. This is a crazy good wine that couldn’t be any better." (12/2017)
Starting Bid: $795.00

Bid on this magnum of 2018 Realm "The Bard" Napa Valley Red Blend (1.5L) (98JD, 98VN, 96RP). Vinous: "The 2018 The Bard is fabulous and also one of the very finest wines I have ever tasted from Realm. Vertical structure, power and explosive energy infuse the 2018 with tremendous character. Inky dark fruit, chocolate, leather, licorice and lavender are some of the many notes that run through the 2018. This is the first vintage that includes a dollop of Petite Sirah from Bourn. It is also the first vintage in which a portion of the wine was aged in concrete eggs, which seems to add tension and a palpable sense of vibrancy. The Bard is a blend of 40 different lots, everything from Calistoga to Coombsville, a marriage of elements that works so well. Although none of these wines could be referred to as inexpensive, The Bard is a tremendous relative value within the context of high-end Napa Valley. I loved it. (AG)" (01/2020)
Starting Bid: $300.00

Bid on this magnum of 2013 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (100DC, 100JS, 100RP, 98VN, 95WS, 94W&S). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Monte Bello is a very special vintage for this great wine. Amazingly, it has yet to shut down, unfurling in the glass to reveal a bouquet of black raspberries, cassis, rich espresso roast, cigar wrapper, subtle black truffle and burning embers that has already integrated its 100% new oak remarkably completely. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, powerful and multidimensional, with a lavishly textural attack that segues into a stunningly layered, richly structured mid-palate endowed with incredible depth and concentration underpinned by succulent acids. The finish is long, vibrant and beautifully delineated. The 2013 is a blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Petit Verdot, 7% Cabernet Franc and 5% Merlot, and it attained 13.6% natural alcohol. Starting Bid: $225.00

Bid on this magnum of 1996 Araujo "Eisele Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Winer- Direct Release (1.5L) (94RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The nose is stout and correct, wonderful precision here with blackberry, blueberry, tobacco, cedar-wood and a touch of cassis. Very sleek and appealing. The palate is medium-bodied with beautiful balance, very fine tannins and that sense of symmetry and focus that top Californian Cabernets can deliver. Superb weight and precision on the finish. Divine, but I would leave this just a couple more years. (NM)" (03/2010)
Starting Bid: $275.00

Bid on this magnum of 2003 Ducru-Beaucaillou, St-Julien (1.5L) (94JS, 94RP, 94WS, 92ST, 91W&S, 91WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A hot, dry summer resulted in a tiny production of under 10, 000 cases of 2003 Ducru Beaucaillou from yields of 35 hectoliters per hectare. This beauty boasts a deep plum/ruby/purple color with a touch of lightening at the edge. Aromas of licorice, creme de cassis, incense and spring flowers are followed by a full-bodied, opulent wine with loads of fruit and glycerin as well as a plush texture. It is just entering its plateau of maturity where it should remain for another 10-15 years. (RP)" (08/2014)

Bid on this magnum of 2018 Schrader "Old Sparky" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (100JD, 100RP, 99JS) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Produced predominately from clone 4, as always, the “Old Sparky” label is a best barrel selection from Beckstoffer's To Kalon vineyard in Oakville. . .aged in 100% new Darnajou and Taransaud French oak barrels for 18 months. Deep garnet-purple in color, it needs a little coaxing to begin to reveal fragrant notions of crushed black currants, mulberries, juicy red and black plums and lilacs with hints of dark chocolate, rose oil and tilled soil plus a waft of unsmoked cigars. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is rich yet not at all heavy, featuring loads of bright red fruit accents among the profound black berry and savory elements. Multilayered, shimmering with energy and beautifully perfumed, it has gorgeous, ripe, plush tannins and a lively backbone, finishing very long and mineral laced. (LPB)" (01/2021)
Starting Bid: $990.00

Bid on this magnum of 1990 Pavillon Rouge, Margaux (1.5L). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1990 is a lovely wine, with a fragrant bouquet, soft, medium-bodied, smooth-as-silk flavors, fine concentration, enough acidity for focus, and a fine finish. (RP)" (02/1993)
Starting Bid: $250.00

Bid on this magnum of 2000 Lynch-Bages, Pauillac (1.5L) (97RP, 96WS, 95JD, 95JS, 95WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Beginning to open magnificently, the still dense purple-colored 2000 reveals a blossoming bouquet of blackberries, cassis, graphite and pen ink. Full-bodied with velvety tannins that have resolved themselves beautifully over the last eleven years, this wine is still an adolescent, but it exhibits admirable purity, texture, mouthfeel and power combined with elegance. One of the all-time great examples of Lynch Bages. (RP)" (08/2011)
Starting Bid: $595.00

Bid on this magnum of 1985 Silver Oak Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L). Silver Oak was founded to focus on Cabernet Sauvignon in 1972 by entrepreneur Raymond Twomey Duncan and winemaker Justin Meyer, and makes two key wines (one in the Sonoma AVA of Alexander Valley, and the other in Napa Valley). Tasting notes from the winery: "The 1985 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon has a ruby-red color with a brick edge. It has a complex nose of blueberry, black olive and tarragon. This wine has a compelling attack of berry fruit and baking spices, a full mid-palate, excellent length and a slight grip on the finish. May need decanting due to light sediment."
Starting Bid: $340.00

Bid on this magnum of 2009 Myriad "Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (93ST, 93VN, 92WS). Vinous: "Full ruby-red. Deeper, darker and less expressive on the nose than the George III example, but also riper and more chocolatey. Densely packed and lively, showing excellent vinosity and a light peppery/herbal pungency to its dark berry, mineral and licorice flavors. A bit sweeter and richer in the mid-palate than the George III and longer on the back end, with more buffering material for its tannins. With a penetrating, rising finish, this Cabernet is evolving slowly. (ST)" (07/2019)
Starting Bid: $225.00

Bid on this 2-magnum lot of 1998 San Felice Vigorello (1.5L) (90WS). Wine Spectator: Wonderful berries, chocolate and cherries on the nose follow through to a medium- to full-bodied palate, with fine tannins and a chocolate and vanilla aftertaste. A beauty. (JS) (10/2001)
Starting Bid: $100.00

Bid on this magnum of 2013 Schrader "Old Sparky" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (100RP, 98JS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Old Sparky, which is essentially made from clone 4 from two separate blocks, clone 6 and clone 337, is another perfect wine from the Schraders. I suppose it’s a little boring to say, and perhaps I can be accused of creating unrealistic expectations on the part of readers, but this is as great as Cabernet can be. Tasting like a first-growth Pauillac, the wine is opaque purple and has a fabulous nose of lead pencil, spring flowers, blueberry and blackberry and the telltale cassis. There is also some licorice and sweet oak, the tannins are ripe, and the wine full-bodied. (RP)" (10/2015)
Starting Bid: $925.00

Bid on this magnum of 2017 Schrader "Old Sparky" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (OWC - 98JD, 97JS, 96RP) in original wood. Jeb Dunnuck: "If I had to pick a wine of the vintage at this point, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Old Sparky Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard would certainly be one of the top choices. Always a barrel selection (mostly clone 6 and clone 4), it offers extraordinary notes of exotic blue fruits, white flowers, graphite, wet stone-like minerality, and loads of violets. Possessing full-bodied richness and depth, it hits the palate with loads of fruit and texture as well as seamless tannins and integrated acidity. As with the other top wines here, it has that magical mix of richness and elegance that’s the hallmark of all great wines. Aged 20 months in 100% new oak, it’s worth hiding bottles for 4-5 years and it’s going to evolve for 20-25 years or more." (01/2020)
Starting Bid: $625.00

Bid on this magnum of 2000 d'Issan, Margaux (1.5L) (94DC, 92JG). Decanter: "Wonderful aromatics of walnut, leather, soft truffles, touches of cloves, this is a perfect wine for the winter months. The high acidity maintains freshness and backbone but there is a definite tertiary feel at this point with autumnal raspberry and blackberry fruits. It's gentle and welcoming with the elegant edge that Issan does so well. Feels like an old friend and practically begs you to stop what you are doing and open a book. (JA)" (12/2019)
Starting Bid: $215.00

Bid on this magnum of 1983 Cronin "Shaw & Cronin Cuvee" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon-Merlot (1.5 L). 92 points, Richard Jennings: "Mushroom and mature Bordeaux nose; tasty, mature, cassis and mint palate; medium finish (80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot)" (11/2007)
Starting Bid: $56.73

Bid on this magnum of 1998 Philip Togni Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (90RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "As I have noted in the past, Togni holds back 100 cases of each vintage to be released at age ten. Although 1998 was a challenging vintage in California, this 1998 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate has evolved into a beautiful wine. If you want to throw a California Cabernet into a blind tasting of first and second-growth Bordeaux, this is the wine to choose. A dead-ringer for a top-class Pauillac, it offers leafy, cedary, licorice, red and black currant, and roasted herb aromas. In the mouth, the Bordeaux-like austerity continues with noticeable tannin as well as a slightly dry finish. Nevertheless, this wine is showing well, although I would not hold it longer than 5-6 years, atypical for a Togni. (RP)" (12/2008)
Starting Bid: $105.00

Bid on this magnum of 1994 Woodward Canyon "Dedication Series #14" Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L). Jay S Miller of Wine Advocate writes: "Woodward Canyon, one of the pioneer producers of Walla Walla, remains under the direction of Rick Smalls and continues to be a benchmark against which all others aspiring to the top must be compared."
Starting Bid: $100.00

Bid on this magnum of 2001 Latour, Pauillac (1.5L) (97VN, 96JD, 95RP, 95WS). Vinous: "The 2001 Latour is magnificent. A huge, structured wine, the 2001 Latour boasts notable depth to match its vertical, towering structure and pure power. At nearly fifteen years of age, the 2001 remains deep, virile and imposing. With air, the 2001 is a approachable now, but ideally it needs at least a few more years in bottle. This is a superb showing by any measure. Frédéric Engerer adds that 2001 was the last vintage that was lightly filtered prior to bottling. (AG) 97+" (07/2016)
