Bid on this bottle of 2013 Paul Hobbs "Beckstoffer To Kalon" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (100JS, 100RP, 96VN, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The second perfect score I have given to a Hobbs Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon (the other was the 2002), the 2013 is as spectacular as his 2002 was. There are 638 cases of this massive wine that comes across like a first-growth Pauillac. Lead pencil shavings, cedar wood, blueberry and blackberry liqueur as well as hints of forest floor and tobacco leaf are all present in this fragrant, sumptuously textured, full-bodied, massively rich yet sensationally well-balanced Cabernet Sauvignon. It has a finish of well over 55 seconds. This is amazing work, and interestingly, I believe Hobbs was the first to offer a Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard designated Cabernet Sauvignon. (RP)" (03/2016)
Starting Bid: $320.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2015 Opus One Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (98JS, 97RP, 97VN, 96DC, 93WS). James Suckling: "Purity and brilliance on the nose with so much currant and flower character. Roses, currant bush and fresh leaves, too. Brightness is the word that comes to mind. Full-bodied and broad-shouldered. Juicy and so gorgeous now. Balance is so wonderful here. All about harmonious fruit and tannin balance. I like it slightly better than the excellent 2014. 81% cabernet sauvignon, 4% petit verdot, 7% cabernet franc, 6% merlot and 2% malbec. Drink or hold." (12/2018)
Starting Bid: $580.00

Bid on this bottle of 1974 Château Montelena Sonoma Cabernet Sauvignon (91RP, 90DC, 90JG). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A blend of three Sonoma appellations at the time. Medium to deep brick colored, the 1974 Cabernet Sauvignon Sonoma opens with tons of spice box, potpourri, incense, leather and menthol notes with a touch of truffles. Medium-bodied, the palate is laden with layers of spices and powdery tannins, with a wicked acid backbone giving lift to the long, earthy finish. (LPB)" (02/2018)
Starting Bid: $170.00

Bid on this bottle of 2016 Promontory Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (100JD, 100JS, 100RP, 99VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Deep garnet-purple, the 2016 Promontory comes barreling out of the glass with bold scents of black cherries, blueberry pie and licorice, leading to a slowly emerging core of crème de cassis, dark chocolate, black soil and truffles plus touches of cumin seed, mossy bark and beef drippings. The full-bodied palate is densely packed with muscular fruit, backed by a rock-solid structure of very firm, exquisitely ripe, grainy tannins and fantastic tension. The finish is both powerful and beautifully nuanced, hedonic and cerebrally gratifying. This singularly stunning expression of Napa Valley is to be released by the winery in 2021. (LPB)" (01/2021)
Starting Bid: $900.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2007 Kapcsandy "Estate Cuvée - State Lane Vineyard" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (96RP, 92ST, 92WS, 91JS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2007 Estate Cuvee State Lane Vineyard (a 750-case blend of 46% Cabernet Sauvignon, 46% Merlot, and the rest Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot) boasts an inky/plum/purple color as well as a complex bouquet of melted licorice, chocolate, creme de cassis, mocha, and sweet forest floor aromas. Full-bodied and layered with exquisite purity, texture, and length, this large-scaled offering reveals a supple texture along with 20-25 years of drinkability. It is a seductive yet extraordinarily complex wine that should prove to be a future super-star. (RP)" (12/2009)
Starting Bid: $270.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2016 Dominus Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (100RP, 98JD, 98JS, 97VN, 95WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A blend of 84% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Petit Verdot and 8% Cabernet Franc aged in 40% new oak, the 2016 Proprietary Red Wine is deep purple-black in color and quite reticent at this youthful stage to begin, offering up subtle notions of potpourri, Indian spices, cigar box and iron ore over a core of crushed blackberries and black cherries with intermittent wafts of black and red currants, new leather and smoked meats. The palate is medium to full-bodied with a densely packed mid-palate and oodles of freshness framed by very ripe, finely grained tannins and laced with compelling earthy accents. It offers incredible vibrancy with tons of black and red fruit sparkle in the mid-palate leading to a provocative mineral element on the very long finish. If I could give more than 100 for this one, I would. (LPB)" (10/2018)
Starting Bid: $1,000.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2017 Vice Versa "Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98JD, 95RP). Jeb Dunnuck: "Just a beast of a wine, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr. Crane is one of the top wines in the vintage and is an incredible, insanely good effort that comes close to what this estate achieved in 2016. Blackcurrants, tobacco, chocolate, gravelly earth, and graphite all emerge from this youthful, primordial wine that stays tight and compact on the palate yet just oozes potential. Structured, full-bodied, and locked and loaded, it needs 4-5 years of bottle age and will cruise for 25 years or more." (01/2020)
Starting Bid: $555.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2013 Dylan's Ghost "Stags Leap Ranch Vineyard" Stags Leap District Bordeaux Blend. Dylan's Ghost was a boutique winery founded by Joseph Carr (of Josh Cellars) and sold mainly via mailing list.
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Arkenstone "Obsidian" Howell Mountain Bordeaux Blend (97RP, 94JS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Obsidian Proprietary Red is a 580-case blend of 74% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Cabernet Franc and the rest Petit Verdot, Malbec and Merlot. A complex nose of spring flowers, white chocolate, black cherry and cassis as well as touches of blackberry and espresso is followed by a multi-layered wine with stunning concentration, seductive and sexy notes of low acidity, plenty of glycerin and sweet tannin. This is a full-bodied beauty that was aged 22 months in 100% French oak. The alcohol is a moderately high 14.8%. Anticipated maturity: now-2032. (RP)" (12/2015)
Starting Bid: $260.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2017 Eisele Vineyard Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 98JS, 97RP, 96WS) in original wood. James Suckling: "Aromas of blueberries and currants and floral hints, such as violets, with subtle minerality. Opens into true beauty and pureness of fruit. Medium to full body. Seamless tannins spread across the palate. Shows finesse and focus and the true character of Eisele. Beautifully crafted. Try after 2023, but already a joy to taste." (02/2020)
Starting Bid: $890.00

Bid on this bottle of 2013 Abreu "Madrona Ranch" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 97VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Madrona Ranch hits the magic three-digit score. It is literally a 30- to 45-year wine in itself. It behaves like a ripe, complex first growth Pauillac, with blackberry and crème de cassis, a touch of licorice, black truffle, pen ink and graphite. Incredibly fragrant, extremely full-bodied, with abundant tannin but also enormous fruit extract and richness, it is an amazing wine and a profound effort from Abreu and Grimes. (RP)" (10/2016)
Starting Bid: $391.00

Bid on this bottle of 1973 Mayacamas "Napa Mountain" Cabernet Sauvignon (96JG, 96VN). Vinous: "One of the most iconic wines made at the property, the 1973 Cabernet Sauvignon boasts a level of pure intensity and structure, along with plenty of distinct St. Estèphe-inflected nuances. Hints of cedar, tobacco and scorched earth meld into a core of deep, dense, dark fruit as the 1973 shows off its utterly captivating personality. The 1973 is one of those wines that takes hold of all the sense and never lets up. In a word: profound. (AG)" (06/2014)
Starting Bid: $343.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Caymus "40th Anniversary" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "They appear to be immune to some of winedom’s less than intelligent trends and fads that we see from time to time, and the result is a spectacular 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon 40th Anniversary offering. Its dense purple/black color is followed by copious quantities of crème de cassis and blackberry fruit, silky tannins, a voluptuous texture and stunning purity as well as length. This full-bodied effort is a fabulous example of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon as well as a tribute to this amazing family. Amazing! (RP)" (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $350.00

Bid on this bottle of 2015 Realm "Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100JD, 100JS, 99RP). James Suckling: "Haunting aromas of terracotta, blackberries, plums and sweet tobacco. Very complex nose. Full body, super silky tannins, spices and ripe fruit. Ripe and compressed tannins. A reserved finish. More precise. A sensational wine. Cooler and more defined than the 2013." (05/2018)
Starting Bid: $285.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2012 Joseph Phelps "Insignia" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (97JD, 97JS, 96RP, 96VN, 95CG, 95WE, 93WS, 92W&S). James Suckling: "Amazing aromas of blueberry, blackberry, mineral and bark. Complex nose. Full body plus super integrated tannins with superb balance and depth. Coffee and chocolate too. Very long and mind-bending. A tribute to the vintage. A long life ahead of it. " (11/2015)

Bid on this bottle of 2013 Hall "Kathryn Hall" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 95WE, 93CG, 93WS, 92VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Kathryn Hall from Napa is another blockbuster, exhibiting an opaque bluish purple color, notes of charcoal, graphite, blackberry, chocolate and exotic spices, a full-bodied mouthfeel, and a long, long finish. Like most 2013s, it is just hinting at its ultimate potential, but this wine is loaded and exciting. Forget it for another 4-5 years and drink it over the following three decades. (RP)" (12/2016)
Starting Bid: $120.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2015 Booker "The Ones" Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon (99JD, 97RP). Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Ones is probably the best Cabernet ever made from these limestone hillside vineyards in Paso Robles, and it reminds me of some of the top 2013s from Napa Valley. Blackcurrants, violets, lead pencil shavings, crème caramel and tobacco leaf nuances all emerge from this big, full-bodied beauty that has a stacked mid-palate, good acidity, ripe, present tannin and a structured vibe that’s going to age beautifully. It offers sensational purity and is a killer wine any way you look at it. Forget bottles for 3-4 years and enjoy over the following two decades." (08/2017)
Starting Bid: $320.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2009 Bryant Family Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon ((97-98JS), 97RP, 96VN, 96WE, 95WS). James Suckling: "Insane nose of pure cassis, minerals, and gorgeous flowers. This is stunning. Full and juicy, with amazing layers of fruit, from cassis to blueberries and hints of vanilla on the great finish. " (04/2011)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2010 Adamvs "Quintvs" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97JD). Jeb Dunnuck: "Moving to the QUINTVS cuvee, this can be thought of as the second wine of the estate, yet it sees the same elevage and winemaking as the top wine, spending 22 months in new barrels. The 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon QUINTVS certainly doesn’t taste like a second wine and it offers incredible, full-bodied notes of chocolate laced black fruits, violets, bay leaf, and loads of cedary herbs. This is a quintessential Howell Mountain Cabernet that’s drinking brilliantly today yet will cruise for another two decades or more." (02/2020)
Starting Bid: $255.00

Bid on this bottle of 2013 Joseph Phelps "Insignia" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (98RP, 98WE, 97VN, 95JS, 95W&S, 94CG, 94DC, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "There were 12, 300 cases produced in 2013, and this vintage of Insignia is certainly going to turn out to be one of the great ones. The wine offers a stunning inky blue/purple color, a gorgeous nose of blueberry and blackberry liqueur, pen ink, graphite, new saddle leather and barrique. The wine has fabulous concentration, a full-bodied, multi-layered mouthfeel, and tremendous finish with moderate tannin. It’s interesting to note that the Phelps winemaking staff had been gradually reducing the amount of Merlot in this wine over recent vintages. (RP) 98+ " (10/2016)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Arkenstone "NVD" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (93JD, 93JS, 93RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2016 NVD Cabernet Sauvignon comes from Calistoga, Howell Mountain, Pritchard Hill and Soda Canyon. It is composed of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon aged 22 months in 75% new French oak. Very deep garnet-purple, it has quite a meaty nose with notions of charcuterie, cigar boxes and dusty soil with a core of plum preserves, warm cassis and fragrant earth plus a waft of sautéed herbs. Full, concentrated and richly fruited with a firm frame of ripe, grainy tannins and great freshness, it finishes long with loads of baking spices coming through. (LPB) 93+" (10/2018)
Starting Bid: $165.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2004 Shafer "Hillside Select" Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon (100WE, 99RP, 96VN, 96WS). Wine Enthusiast: "A perfect score has to be considered in the context of its region. Shafer’s 2004 Hillside Select is tremendous as a Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon that competes with its peers at the highest levels. It’s always a fabulous wine, but in warm 2004, Shafer’s amphitheater vineyard sheltered the grapes, ripening them to perfection yet protecting the “iron fist in a velvet glove” structure that André Tchelistcheff defined as Stags Leap. This 100% Cabernet is tremendous in cassis, black currant and mocha flavors, and the 100% new French oak provides perfect additions of smoke and caramel." (03/2009)
Starting Bid: $825.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2019 Bryant "DB4" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (92JD, 92VN). Vinous: "The 2019 DB 4 is gracious, aromatically expressive and light on its feet. In 2019, the DB4 is a touch nervy, but it has plenty of persistence and fine balance. Crushed flowers, red berry fruit, mint and chalk add an appealing upper register. The 2019 is a charmer, that is for sure. There is an exotic quality that is especially enticing. (AG)" (01/2022)
Starting Bid: $700.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Caymus Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (92WS). Wine Spectator: "Ripe and fleshy, with rich plum, wild berry, spice and savory herb notes that are complex, full-bodied and expansive on the palate, ending with firm tannins and a dash of espresso. (JL)" (11/2009)
Starting Bid: $232.01

Bid on this bottle of 2013 Constant, Italics, David Arthur, Reynolds Family "Premier Napa Valley - The Calling" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Winemaker Steve Reynolds blended Cabernet Sauvignon from Diamond Mountain and Pritchard Hill, Merlot from Stags Leap District, and Cabernet Franc from Coombsville to produce 20 cases of wine for this collaborative entry into the 2015 Premiere Napa Valley Auction. Notes from the producers: "Each of us is endowed with talents and a disposition that point to a specific purpose. The career you're suited to, trained for and excel at -- that's your calling. But there's another type of calling, perhaps divinely inspired, that is equally compelling. It's a way of life, a sense of commitment and, depending on what you read, a form of redemption. "
Starting Bid: $100.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2010 Bryant Family Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (99RP, 95VN, 95WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Teasing the taster with a possible three-digit perfection is the 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Pritchard Hill. This beauty shows lots of creme de cassis, blueberry liqueur, spring flower and forest floor notes in an opulent, full-bodied, powerful, dense, rich style buttressed by significant ripe tannins and decent acidity. Again, the striking purity and singular character of this Bryant Cabernet Sauvignon oozes potential as well as pedigree. This spectacular, young Cabernet should turn out to be one of the all-time great Bryant Cabernet Sauvignons, rivaling their 1997, but slightly more structured. (RP)" (10/2013)
Starting Bid: $620.00

Bid on this 6-bottle tasting lot; including 3-bottles of 2018 Austin Hope Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon (95WE) and 3-bottles of 2019 Austin Hope Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon (94WE). Of the 2018 Austin Hope Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon, Wine Enthusiast writes: "Quite dark in the glass, this reliable crowd-pleaser begins with hearty aromas of black currant, black plum, lush oak and caramel, accented by a hint of olive and loads of clove and nutmeg. The mouthfeel is hearty and rich, with just enough tannic weight to balance the creamy black-cherry, caramel and chocolate-ice-cream flavors, which lead to an oaky finish. *Ranked #7 Top 100 Wines of 2020* (MK)" (12/2020)
Starting Bid: $180.00

Bid on this bottle of 2015 Kapcsándy "Estate Cuvée - State Lane Vineyard" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (97JD, 96JS, 95RP). Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2015 Estate Cuvee is the Margaux of the lineup with its perfumed floral, spice-box, black cherry and currant-driven aromas and flavors. It has an understated elegance, full-bodied richness, a beautiful sweetness of fruit, and a supple, sexy texture that makes it already impossible to resist. Showing a kiss of oak on the finish, give bottle 3-4 years and enjoy over the following two decades." (12/2018)
Starting Bid: $90.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2018 Moone-Tsai "Black List '' Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (97RP, 95VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Black List XXIV delivers profound, wonderfully pure scents of crushed blueberries, Morello cherries, black raspberries and blackcurrant jelly with hints of violets, underbrush and iron ore. The big, rich, impactful, full-bodied palate follows through on the nose's promise with powerful black fruit flavors and loads of earthy nuances, backed up by firm, grainy tannins and lovely freshness, finishing long and layered. 120 cases were made. 97+ (LPB)" (02/2021)
Starting Bid: $385.00

Bid on this bottle of 1974 Heitz Cellar "Martha's Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, 97JG, 92JD). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "I had this wine twice over a period of thirty days, rating it an astounding 99 and 98 points. A monumental California Cabernet Sauvignon, it appears to have approached its plateau of maturity but should easily last for 20-25 more years. There is no rust, amber, or brown to the saturated dark purple color. The spectacular, huge, Mouton-Rothschild-like nose of mint, cassis, lead pencil, and toast is remarkably youthful. Staggeringly concentrated, this full-bodied, super-rich wine possesses moderate tannin, fresh, lively acidity, and a blockbuster, rich, fleshy finish. This is a monumental effort! (RP)" (08/1994)
Starting Bid: $3,100.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Justin "Reserve" Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon (95WE). Wine Enthusiast: "Lush aromas of cinnamon, black and red cherry, vanilla and toasted brioche show on this unabashedly potent and downright delicious bottling by the region's pioneering winery. Soft tannins joyously present rounded red-fruit and vanilla-cake flavors, with rich accents of cherry compote and chocolate chip cookie that are cut by streaks of bitterness and tartness. It's a voluptuous, attention-grabbing wine. (MK)" (09/2017)
Starting Bid: $85.00

Bid on this bottle of 2018 Tor Kenward "Pure Magic - Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard" Oakville Cabernet Franc-Cabernet Sauvignon (100JD, 100VN, 99RP). Vinous: "The 2018 Pure Magic Beckstoffer To Kalon is a blend of roughly equal parts Cabernet Frand and Cabernet Sauvignon. It is a remarkable wine but, not surprisingly, it is also shut down and far less expressive than the straight To Kalon Cabernet because of the strong Franc component. Lavender, spice, menthol, licorice, mocha and leather are all laced together as this riveting wine opens in the glass. The 2018 is going to need at least a few years to come together, but it is captivating, even in the early going. The Pure Magic is a five barrel blend from the B, D and F blocks, which includes the oldest 337 Clone Cabernet (BlockB) and Clone 6 Cabernet, of which there is very little left (Block D). (AG)" (01/2021)
Starting Bid: $390.00

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Lail "J. Daniel Cuvée" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100JD, 100RP, 96JS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Absolutely perfect and one of the monumental wines of my long tasting trip in Napa is the 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon J. Daniel Cuvée. I didn’t see this from barrel last year. Aged 20 months in 75% new French oak and representing 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from three vineyard sources: one in Calistoga, one in Oakville and one in Howell Mountain. Robin Lail and winemaker Philippe Melka hit pay dirt with a wine that has an inky purple color, an almost amazing bouquet that reminded me of 1989 Chateau Montrose when it was young. Sweet almost truffle-infused earth, graphite, forest floor, blackcurrant and black cherry notes are followed by a full-bodied wine with a hint of mocha and licorice. (RP)" (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $220.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Spottswoode "Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (99RP, 98JD, 98JS, 98VN, 98WE, 97DC). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon is deep garnet with a touch of purple and exudes pure black truffles on the nose to begin, slowly unfurling to reveal a core of black cherries, warm blackcurrants and plum preserves with suggestions of eucalyptus, tilled soil, chargrill and new leather. Medium-bodied with a great intensity of earth-tinged black fruits, it has a firm frame of grainy tannins and a long truffle-laced finish. (LPB)" (10/2018)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2018 Screaming Eagle "The Flight" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (OWC - 98RP, 95VN, 94JD) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Medium to deep garnet-purple colored, the 2018 The Flight drifts sensuously out of the glass with the most gorgeous perfume of red roses, kirsch, black raspberries and fresh blackcurrants followed by hints of iron ore, tilled soil, lavender and star anise plus a touch of powdered cinnamon. Medium to full-bodied, the palate has a fantastically chiseled structure of ripe, grainy tannins and bold freshness supporting the black fruit and floral layers, finishing with bags of minerals. (LPB)" (11/2020)
Starting Bid: $2,700.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Daou "Soul of A Lion" Adelaida District Cabernet Sauvignon (98JD, 97RP, 96VN, 95WE, 94JS, 93DC). Jeb Dunnuck: "Also bottled the week before this tasting, the 2016 Soul of a Lion includes more Cabernet Sauvignon than the 2014 and 2015 and is 84% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Cabernet Franc and the rest Petit Verdot. It’s an incredible achievement and has sensational notes of crème de cassis, graphite, violets, and lead pencil shavings. Made in a pure California, pedal-to-the-metal style, with full body and loads of fruit, it stays balanced, has ultra-fine tannins, and a layered, seamless style that just glides over the palate. Don’t think Paso Robles can make world-class Cabernet Sauvignon? Try this wine." (11/2018)

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2011 Au Sommet Atlas Peak Cabernet Sauvignon (92VN, 90ST). Vinous: "Bright red cherries, cranberries, tobacco, mint and crushed flowers jump from the glass in Au Sommet's 2011 Elev 2100 Ft. The flavors are bright, chiseled and delineated throughout. Firm yet well-integrated tannins support the expressive finish. This is a terrific showing, especially within the context of the year. Then again, mountain sites were far less challenged than valley floor vineyards in 2011. (AG)" (09/2014)
Starting Bid: $360.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Amuse Bouche Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (92JS, 91VN, 90RP, 90WS). James Suckling: "Aromas and flavors of walnuts, balsamic vinegar and dried fruits that follow through to a full body, round and juicy tannins and a savory finish. Some orange-peel undertones. Needs a couple of years to come together. " (12/2016)
Starting Bid: $390.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2014 Arrow & Branch "Premier Napa Valley-Beckstoffer Dr. Crane & Oakville Ranch" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon.
Starting Bid: $300.00

Bid on this bottle of 1999 Screaming Eagle Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97RP, 97WS, 93ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The bottled 1999 (a blend of 88% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot, and 2% Cabernet Franc) is as profound as I predicted a year and a half ago. It boasts an opaque purple color along with a gorgeously pure nose of creme de cassis, charcoal, and floral characteristics. The wine is opulent, dense, and rich, with exceptional purity, a viscous texture, and impressive underlying tannin that frames its large but elegant personality. Not surprisingly, this is a candidate for the wine of the vintage. (RP)" (08/2002)
Starting Bid: $2,230.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2018 Blankiet "Mythicus - Paradise Hills Vineyard" Yountville Cabernet Sauvignon (100JD, 100VN, 97RP). Vinous: "Blankiet's 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Mythicus Paradise Hills Vineyard is magnificent. Inky, deep and soaring in its intensity. Mythicus is a blend taken mostly from well-exposed parcels in Blocks 1, 6, 7 and 8, which feature variations on volcanic ash soils that are starkly delineated in the separate components. The Mythicus is one of the most tightly wound wines of 2018, but in the very best way. It will be absolutely thrilling in another few years' time, once the tannins soften further. Purplish black fruit, gravel, spice, menthol, licorice and dried herbs linger on the intense finish. (AG)" (01/2021)
Starting Bid: $520.00

Bid on this bottle of 2013 Dunn Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (98JS, 98VN, 97DC, 96RP). Vinous: "The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain is a towering majestic wine. Rich, powerful and yet massively tannic, the 2013 possesses a stunning combination of super-ripe fruit, bright acids and plenty of supporting structure. In the early going, the Howell Mountain is a bit reticent, especially next to the Trailer, but after several hours, the vibrancy of the Howell Mountain bottling dazzles. Dunn's Howell Mountain Cabernet is without question one of the wines of the great 2013 vintage. Randy and Mike Dunn's 2013s are off the charts. (AG) 98+" (12/2016)
Starting Bid: $130.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2017 Realm "Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97JD, 97JS, 95VN). James Suckling: "A really pretty red with blackberries and spice, hazelnuts and dark chocolate. Full to medium body and medium, fine and velvety tannins. Juicy and flavorful finish. Direct and focused. Racy is the world to describe this. Drink in 2024." (01/2020)
Starting Bid: $495.00

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Spottswoode "Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (99JD, 99RP, 98JS, 97VN, 95DC, 95WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "With the lowest percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon in of any of the wines from this vertical, the 2012 final blend was 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot. Production across the board in 2012 was high, and reflected in the 3, 977 cases made at Spottswoode. This is a dramatic, flamboyant, modern-day version of the 2002. Dramatic blueberry, black raspberry and blackcurrant fruit, along with camphor, charcoal, white flowers and foresty notes all emerge from the impressive aromatics that soar from the glass. The intense, explosively rich, full-bodied palate is layered with beautiful purity, stunningly sweet, silky tannins and terrific presence and complexity. This is a gorgeous wine on a relatively fast evolutionary track, I suspect, but certainly it has 30 years of upside left. (RP)" (08/2016)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2015 Christopher Tynan Wines "Meleagris Gallopavo Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (99JD, 93RP). Jeb Dunnuck: "Showing beautifully, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Meleagris Gallopavo Vineyard comes from a site on Spring Mountain and older vines, brought up all in French oak. This majestic, full-bodied, powerful Cabernet flirts with perfection and reveals a saturated purple hue as well as fabulous notes of crème de cassis, blueberries, chocolate, green tobacco, graphite, and crushed rocks. With flawless balance and ultra-fine tannins, it has a rare mix of sexy, ripe fruit and an almost Old World sense of structure and purity. It’s going to evolve for 30 years or more. " (01/2020)
Starting Bid: $360.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2015 Justin "Isosceles Reserve" Paso Robles Bordeaux Blend (OWC - 94WE) in original wood. Wine Enthusiast: "This reserve bottling delivers rich aromas of candied black cherry, dark caramel, licorice and mocha. The palate on this Cabernet-dominant blend is taut yet exuberant, offering a black currant flavor against a chalky texture. (MK)" (12/2019)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2011 Continuum Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (95VN, 94JS, 94WE, 92RP, 92ST, 92WS). Vinous: "The 2011 Proprietary Red Wine is just starting to show the first signs of aromatic development. It remains a big, concentrated wine with real breadth and pedigree. Hints of espresso, tobacco, dried leaves, menthol and licorice add striking aromatic complexity, but the 2011 remains young and full of promise. The advantages of being above the fog line in 2011 are evident. (AG)" (09/2019)

Bid on this bottle of 2008 Ahnfeldt "Premier Napa Valley - Quid Pro Quo IV" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend. Ahnfeldt produced five cases of this wine for the 2010 Premiere Napa Valley Auction. Notes from the producer: "Quid Pro Quo IV is a beautiful blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot from our small vineyards. Winemaker Craig MacLean has worked his magic to once more to create this smooth, balanced, wonderful wine. You will certainly get your money's worth, because, after all, quid pro quo means an 'equal exchange.'"
Starting Bid: $100.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2017 Vice Versa "Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95JD, 92RP). Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Las Piedras comes from a rocky vineyard that normally yields a more elegant, floral wine compared to the Dr. Crane Vineyard, which is just a stone’s throw away. Deep purple-hued with notes of blackcurrants, toasted spice, flowery incense, and cigar tobacco, this rock star of a wine hits the palate with full-bodied richness, a lush, opulent texture, ripe tannins, and a great, great finish. 95+" (01/2020)
