Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2019 Outpost "Immigrant - True Vineyard" Howell Mountain Bordeaux Blend ((95-97JD), (93-95RP)). Jeb Dunnuck: "More red and black fruits, toasted spice, tobacco, and graphite notes emerge from the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Immigrant, another full-bodied, structured barrel sample from this team. I love its balance, it has plenty of mid-palate depth, but its structure and tannins are going to take time to integrate. 95-97+" (01/2021)
Starting Bid: $240.00

Bid on this bottle of 1987 Dominus Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (96RP, 94JG, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "There were 6, 500 cases produced of the 1987 Dominus. It is one of the great wines of the vintage in a year when a handful of California producers made profound Cabernets (i.e., Robert Mondavi Reserve, Dunn Howell Mountain, and Chateau Montelena). The wine is beginning to shut down, but it still displays a rich ruby color and an intensely spicy, fragrant nose of toasty vanillin oak, cassis, and cedar. In the mouth, this medium to full-bodied wine displays considerable tannins, fine integrated acidity, and an opulent, rich, spicy finish. (RP)" (10/1993)
Starting Bid: $215.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Pickett (Araujo Estate) Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon.
Starting Bid: $165.00

Bid on this 5 liter of 2004 Pride Mountain Napa-Sonoma Counties Cabernet Sauvignon (5L) (OWC - 93ST, 92WE, 91W&S) in original wood. Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Saturated, bright medium ruby. Crushed cassis, licorice and minerals on the nose. Pure, primary black fruit and mineral flavors framed and enlivened by surprisingly juicy acidity. Very firmly built, vibrant wine with the structure to reward aging. Winemaker Bob Foley noted that Pride's Cabernet had better than usual acidity in 2004, and certainly more than in 2003 or 2002; the harvest here lasted into early November. (ST)" (06/2007)
Starting Bid: $500.00

Bid on this bottle of 2000 Clos Pegase Napa Cabernet Sauvignon. The principal sources for the Clos Pegase Cabernet Sauvignon are their 40-acre Palisades Vineyard, nestled at the base of Mt. St. Helena, and the spare plot known as Graveyard Hill in Carneros. Both of these vineyards, despite their dramatic climatic differences, share well-drained, rocky terrain that stress and concentrate the resulting berries. The Clos Pegase Cab is very dark in color and shows intensely concentrated flavors of chocolate, cassis, black cherry and hints of vanilla. The wine is very full in the mouth and will age well over the next 5 years. It can be enjoyed now with foods like grilled lamb, beef or with cheese.
Starting Bid: $45.00

Bid on this bottle of 2016 Carter "The O.G. - Beckstoffer To Kalon" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100JD, 99RP, 96VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon The O.G. comes all from the 337 clone of Cabernet Sauvignon and, like all these wines, was brought up in new French oak. It's slightly more fresh, focused, and chiseled compared to the G.T.O and has building notes of blackcurrants, camphor, scorched earth, chocolate, and graphite, with a beautiful violet character coming through with time in the glass. Deep, rich, full-bodied, and powerful, with perfect balance between its fruit, tannins, acidity, and alcohol, it's a monumental Napa Cabernet Sauvignon that's going to drink beautifully for 2+ decades." (01/2019)
Starting Bid: $260.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Lewis Cellars "Hillstone Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97WS). Wine Spectator: "Gorgeous, ripe and rich, without excess weight, this offers pure currant and dark and red berry flavors that are supple and graceful, with seductive creamy mocha—laced oak. The finish echoes fruit, black licorice, cedar and hot brick. (JL)" (02/2016)
Starting Bid: $300.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2019 Quivet "Shiverick Reserve - Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. A new addition to the Quivet lineup, the Shiverick Reserve is from a two-barrel lot sourced from a relatively newly planted section of the Las Piedras Vineyard. Jeb Dunnuck gave the regular Piedras bottling a 97-100-point score and called it "pure magic in 2019 and a thrilling Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon that readers should snatch up!"
Starting Bid: $300.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2018 Outpost "True Vineyard" Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (95JD, 95RP, 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon True Vineyard has a deep garnet-purple color, prancing out of the glass with flamboyant notes of stewed plums, crème de cassis and baked blackberries, plus touches of bay leaves, lavender, unsmoked cigars, pencil lead and tilled earth. Full-bodied, the palate has a rock-solid foundation of firm, grainy tannins and a lively line, finishing long and lifted. (LPB) 95+" (01/2021)
Starting Bid: $300.00

Bid on this 2-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2016 Realm "The Bard" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (98JD, 98RP, 97JS, 95VN, 94DC, 94WE) and 1-bottle of 2016 Realm "The Tempest" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (97JD, 96JS, 96WE, 95RP, 93VN). Of the 2016 Realm "The Bard" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "A blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot from 21 different lots from 11 different vineyards, the 2016 The Bard is very deep purple-black in color and sashays out of the glass with strikingly beautiful violets, warm cassis, star anise and chocolate mint notes with hints of wood smoke, tobacco and kirsch, with blackberry compote at the core. Full, muscular and built like a brick house with layer upon layer of black, blue and red fruits, it finishes very long and savory. (LPB)" (10/2018)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2016 Memento Mori Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (99RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from the Beckstoffer Dr. Crane and Las Piedras vineyards, Oakville Ranch vineyard and Weitz vineyard, aged 22 months in 100% new French oak. Very deep purple-black in color, it reveals stunning scents of crème de cassis, wild blueberries, blackberry compote and dried mulberries with hints of Chinese five spice, spearmint and unsmoked cigars with a waft of cedar chest. Full-bodied, with a rock-solid structure of firm, super ripe tannins plus seamless freshness, it finishes very long with provocative mineral accents. (LPB)" (10/2018)
Starting Bid: $400.00

Bid on this 2-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 1994 Robert Mondavi "Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95RP, 95WS, 92VN) and 1-bottle of 1995 Robert Mondavi "Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (92VN, 92WS). Of the 1994 Robert Mondavi "Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "This has a very different bouquet to the 1996: lighter and minty, more red fruit than black fruit profile, raspberry, bergamot, a touch of leather coming through. The palate is medium-bodied with fine, almost filigree tannins, harmonious, light and more Bordeaux like than other vintages with a little dryness coming through on the ferrous, honey-textured finish. This exudes style and panache. One of the greats of the decade, no doubt. (NM)" (11/2009)
Starting Bid: $205.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1993 Beringer "Private Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (93RP, 92CG, 90VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A more mineral-dominated wine, the 1993 Private Reserve offers notes of cedarwood, black cherries, black currants, damp earth, underbrush and forest floor. It is the product of a lower than normal crop, some shatter during berry set and a general reduction of fruit by nearly 30% in some vineyards. August and September alternated between cool periods and large heat spikes. This was a challenging year, but the seemingly fully mature wine has turned out very well. (RP)" (06/2011)
Starting Bid: $165.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2019 Myriad "Empyrean - Beckstoffer Georges III" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon ((97-99JD), 97RP). Jeb Dunnuck: "As with the Elysian, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Georges III Vineyard Empyrean is a tiny barrel selection from this larger vineyard in Rutherford. A similar nose of ripe black fruits, tobacco leaf, chocolate, and gravelly earth notes give way to a full-bodied, pure, balanced, nicely structured Cabernet that's going to warrant 3-5 years of bottle age." (01/2021)
Starting Bid: $350.00

Bid on this bottle of 2016 Realm "The Absurd" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (100JD, 99RP). Jeb Dunnuck: "Lastly, and made with the idea of producing the best of the best (it’s the first blend the team put together), the 2016 The Absurd checks in as 66% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Cabernet Franc, 15% Merlot, the rest Petit Verdot brought up in new barrels. It’s a hedonistic dream offering incredible black and blue fruits, gravelly minerality, cold fireplace, smoke tobacco, and forest floor. Deep, layered, and straight-up massive on the palate, it’s another wine from this estate that stays weightless and elegant. Few wines can carry this incredible mix of richness and elegance, and this beauty is unquestionably one of the finest wines in the vintage." (09/2018)
Starting Bid: $850.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2004 Robert Mondavi Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon (95WS, 91ST). Wine Spectator: "Beautifully crafted, rich, chewy and concentrated, yet with a wonderful lift to the flavors. Refreshing, vibrant and supple-textured, with layers of anise, currant, sage and mineral that unfold gracefully, ending with a long finish that has just the right mix of ripe fruit and tannins. (JL)" (11/2007)

Bid on this bottle of 2017 Myriad "Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96JD, 94RP, 93VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard is another beautiful wine that does everything right. It’s largely in the same style as the Dr. Crane Elysian yet slightly softer and more plush. Nevertheless, it’s concentrated, full-bodied, has loads of power, and textbook notes of gravelly earth, dark fruits, chocolate, and spicy, almost meaty nuances. 96+" (01/2020)
Starting Bid: $125.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2009 Morlet "Coeur de Vallée - Beckstoffer To Kalon" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (95RP, 94WS, 93VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon Coeur de Vallee is wonderfully open, silky and expressive from start to finish. Freshly cut flowers, red berries, mint and sweet spices all make an appearance in this polished, hugely refined Cabernet. Hints of tobacco and cedar add to the overall impression of pure refinement. In 2009, the Coeur de Vallee includes 24% Cabernet Franc, which gives the wine much of its sensual inner perfume and sweetness. (AG)" (12/2012)
Starting Bid: $480.00

Bid on this 2-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2012 Paul Hobbs "Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, 97DC, 94JS, 93VN, 92WS) and 1-bottle of 2013 Paul Hobbs "Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 97JS, 94WS). Of the 2013 Paul Hobbs "Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard has a Mission Haut-Brion-on-steroids character, as it seems to be all gravel pit. Loads of wet pebbles, graphite, blueberry and blackberry fruit, a full-bodied opulence, and just a killer, skyscraper-like mouthfeel and stunning finish make for one of the most provocative and fabulous wines in this portfolio. Drink it over the next 25+ years. Drink through 2041. (RP)" (03/2016)

Bid on this bottle of 2014 Quintessa Rutherford Bordeaux Blend (97JS, 94RP, 93DC, 92WS). James Suckling: "Aromas of spearmint, sweet tobacco, cigars and blackcurrants follow through to a medium to full body, very polished and refined tannins and an intense finish. Extremely fine and long. Savory. Extremely long finish. Biodynamically grown." (01/2017)
Starting Bid: $140.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Realm "Farella Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 95VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The single-vineyard 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Farella Vineyard comes from a hillside, cool-climate site in the Coombsville AVA in the eastern Vaca Mountains. In the past, much of this fruit went into early vintages of Opus One. This is a tannic, opulent, backward, primary effort displaying an inky/purple color along with notes of incense, camphor, toast and abundant black fruits. A true first-growth vineyard is the Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard, which is located in the heart of St. Helena just off Route 29. The vineyard is planted primarily with Cabernet Sauvignon and two small parcels of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. For whatever reason, anyone who gets fruit off this vineyard tends to make wines that hit every sweet spot on the palate. (RP) 96+" (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $270.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2012 Paul Hobbs "Crossbarn" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (93JS, 90RP). James Suckling: "A rich and flavorful red with black currants, chocolate and hints of spices. Full and balanced with beautifully polished tannins and length. A fine and gorgeous wine. Drink or hold. " (07/2015)
Starting Bid: $210.00

Bid on this 3-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2012 Castello di Amorosa "Don Thomas Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (92CG, 92VN, 91JS, 91RP, 91WE), 1-bottle of 2013 Castello di Amorosa "Sinalunga" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94RP, 92JS), and 1-bottle of 2014 Castello di Amorosa "Melanson Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Of the 2013 Castello di Amorosa "Sinalunga" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "Their premium, high-end wine, the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Sinalunga is a blend of 98% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Petit Verdot. This is meant to be the best of the best, so to speak. The color is a dense ruby/purple, the wine beautifully concentrated with blackberry and cassis fruit, licorice, incense and beautifully concealed toasty oak. Full-bodied, long, rich and impressive, this clearly is the crème de la crème of the 2013 lineup from Castello di Amorosa. (RP)" (12/2015)

Bid on this bottle of 2007 Bond "St. Eden" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (99RP, 98VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Not surprisingly, the 2007 St. Eden flirts with perfection. Another Pauillac look-alike, it offers up glorious aromas of cedarwood, creme de cassis, spice box, high class unsmoked cigar tobacco, roasted herbs and a hint of mocha. The complex aromas brilliantly conceal the long aging in new French oak. This compelling, singular, full-bodied, multilayered, sensational Cabernet Sauvignon can be drunk early (because of the flamboyance and unctuosity of the vintage), but promises to provide thrilling consumption in 30+ years. (RP)" (12/2010)
Starting Bid: $375.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2013 Caymus Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94RP, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A beautiful ripe, plump, fat and opulent style of Cabernet Sauvignon that Caymus has pioneered, the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon has a dense purple color, loads of juicy blackberry and blackcurrant fruit, low acidity and no real evidence of oak, but a nice, plush, full-bodied opulence. This is irresistible, especially for a Cabernet Sauvignon coming in at 14.9% natural alcohol. (RP)" (12/2015)
Starting Bid: $540.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Spottswoode "Family Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 94DC, 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Deep garnet colored with a lingering hint of purple, the 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon comes sashaying out of the glass with provocative notions of warm cassis, blueberry compote, blackberry pie and violets with chocolate box, licorice and menthol nuances plus wafts of wilted roses, lavender and kirsch. Medium-bodied, the intensely perfumed black and blue fruit flavors glide gracefully across the palate, revealing a myriad of earth and spice accents, all framed beautifully with super ripe, fine-grained tannins and invigorating freshness, finishing very, very long. Wow. LPB)" (08/2018)

Each distinctive terroir interweaves complementary components which culminate in a preeminent Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, a gestalt of balanced, rich, concentrated character." Starting Bid: $200.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2000 Dominus Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (90RP, 90ST, 90WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This has a very intense, masculine nose with blackberry, cassis and a touch of black truffle, a bouquet that want to be more Bordeaux than Napa! The palate is cohesive, dense, decadent and slightly raisiny, but it just lacks a little lift and the degree of finesse I expected on the finish. (NM)" (05/2009)

Medium to deep garnet-purple in color, it soars from the glass with a whole firework display of exotic spices, potpourri and sandalwood scents over a core of redcurrant jelly, preserved plums, crème de cassis and kirsch with wafts of pencil shavings and crushed rocks. The opulent, full-bodied palate is jam-packed with black and red berry preserves, framed by an exquisitely plush texture and fantastic tension, finishing with epically long-lasting Chinese five spice layers and fragrant incense whispers. Its dense blue/purple color is accompanied by complex aromatics of white flowers, creme de cassis, blueberry pie, charcoal, and a hint of subtle oak. Bid on this bottle of 2007 Kapcsándy "Grand Vin - State Lane Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 95VN). Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2013 Paul Hobbs "CrossBarn" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (93JS, 93RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Even better news is the Crossbarn 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa. There are 10, 500+ cases of this wine, and while $50.00 is hardly a bargain, this is a brilliant wine from Hobbs. There is a little Merlot and Cabernet Franc in the blend, but it reflects this great vintage, revealing blueberry, blackberry and cassis as well as some licorice, incense, and forest floor. The wine has full-bodied opulence, a sumptuous mouthfeel, and is just a terrific, savory, expansive Cabernet Sauvignon that should drink well for 15 or more years. (RP)" (03/2016)

The tannins are sizable and supportive. *Cellar Selection* (VB)" (08/2018)

Bid on this bottle of 1985 Caymus "Special Selection" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (91RP, 90WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "It reveals a lavishly oaked, smoky, jammy, blackcurrant-scented nose, sweet, round, glycerin-imbued, full-bodied flavors, and excellent purity, ripeness, and length. Other bottles have been more concentrated and complex, but who's complaining? (RP)" (04/1995)

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Lore Vineyard is made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon coming from a single vineyard in Oakville. Deep garnet-purple colored, it needs a fair bit of swirling to reveal tantalizing scents of boysenberries, chocolate-covered cherries and crushed black and red currants with hints of menthol, tobacco leaf, violets, cinnamon stick and cedar chest. Medium to full-bodied, the palate bursts with perfumed black fruits, backed up by firm, ripe, grainy tannins and bold freshness, finishing very long and mineral laced. Just stunning. Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this bottle of 1978 Stag's Leap Wine Cellars "SLV" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Tasting notes by winemaker Warren Winiarski: "From a wine only fairly auspicious in its early stages, the 1978 Cabernet Sauvignon from Stag's Leap Vineyards has become one of the most elegant, if not simply the most complete, graceful and fortunate example of the variety from that vineyard … The nose is a beautifully fruity collage of elements, which reflect the return to easier times from the severe regime of the drought years. The body, apparently still showing the discipline of those lean years, has a firm, compact trimness. About 2% Merlot has been blended to moderate those sharp edges." (03/1981)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2019 Scarecrow "M. Étain" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2019 M. Deep garnet-purple colored, it sashays out of the glass with notes of violets, fallen leaves and incense over a warm cassis and plum preserves core, plus a waft of cardamom. Full-bodied, the ripe, opulent black fruit preserve flavors are beautifully framed by firm, grainy tannins and a lively backbone, finishing long and seductively spicy. (LPB)" (10/2021)
Starting Bid: $525.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Christopher Tynan "Reserve" St. Helena Cabernet Sauvignon (94RP, 91JS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Certainly the inky, ruby/purple color of the 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon St. Helena Reserve is impressive, as is the texture, richness and overall quality. This is a rich, full-bodied, rather classic St. Helena Cabernet Sauvignon with oodles of crème de cassis fruit, beautiful purity, nicely integrated oak and tannin, and a long, layered, rich finish. (RP)" (12/2015)
Starting Bid: $300.00

Bid on this bottle of 2017 Myriad "Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard - Elysian" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97JD, 94RP, 94VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "Certainly, one of the wines of the vintage, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard Elysian comes from a first growth site outside of St. Helena and is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon brought up in new barrels. It has that classic earthy, gravelly minerality that’s the hallmark of this terroir as well a full-bodied, concentrated, yet backward vibe on the palate. The tannins are sensational, it has incredible purity of fruit, and it’s packed with potential. 97+" (01/2020)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2001 Merryvale "Beckstoffer Vineyards Clone Six" Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon (94CG, 91WE, 90WS). Connoisseurs Guide: "Keenly focused and well-concentrated aromas of black cherries, currants, dark chocolate and creamy oak make an inviting start to this plush, rich wine, and its deep, fleshy, mouthfilling flavors strongly reiterate all the good that has gone before. Fairly full in body and supple across the palate before running into an ample dose of youthful tannins, this dramatic young bottling deserves up to a decade of cellaring. *Two Stars*" (08/2004)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this bottle of 2016 Memento Mori "Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (99JD, 96RP). Jeb Dunnuck: "There were two 2016s presented, both magical wines that are just about as good as it gets. The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Las Piedras Vineyard comes from a rocky site outside of St. Helena and is all Cabernet aged 23 months in new barrels. A monster bouquet of crème de cassis and black raspberry-driven fruits are mixed with notes of crushed violets, unsmoked tobacco, spring flowers, and crushed rocks. These all flow to a full-bodied wine that builds incrementally on the palate, with a deep, layered mid-palate, ultra-fine tannins, and the balance and purity that make this vintage so special. " (01/2020)

Bid on this bottle of 2010 Stag's Leap Wine Cellars "SLV" Napa Cabernet Sauvignon (94RP, 93JS, 91W&S). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The estate’s 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate SLV emerges from a parcel next to Fay, but here the terrain is much richer in stones and therefore traps the daytime heat to a far greater extent. Ash, smoke, slate, plums and blackberries are some of the many notes that burst from the glass. The SLV is a big, tannic wine, especially in this vintage. There is more than enough tension and sheer energy to allow for years of great drinking, once the wine softens a bit. (AG) 94+" (12/2012)

Bid on this bottle of 2009 Promontory Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (97RP, 94VN, 93JS, 93ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2009 Promontory is a magnificent Bordeaux-styled red offering up notes of burning embers, scorched earth (not terribly dissimilar from a top Pessac-Leognan such as La Mission Haut-Brion), black fruits, loamy undertones of minerality, and hints of camphor and background oak. Dense, masculine, rich and full, this 2009 is built for the long-term, although for a 2009, the tannins are remarkably well-integrated, giving the wine definition and structure. (RP)" (10/2013)
