Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2019 Outpost "Immigrant - True Vineyard" Howell Mountain Bordeaux Blend ((95-97JD), (93-95RP)). Jeb Dunnuck: "More red and black fruits, toasted spice, tobacco, and graphite notes emerge from the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Immigrant, another full-bodied, structured barrel sample from this team. I love its balance, it has plenty of mid-palate depth, but its structure and tannins are going to take time to integrate. 95-97+" (01/2021)
Starting Bid: $240.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2018 Screaming Eagle "The Flight" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (OWC - 98RP, 95VN, 94JD) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Medium to deep garnet-purple colored, the 2018 The Flight drifts sensuously out of the glass with the most gorgeous perfume of red roses, kirsch, black raspberries and fresh blackcurrants followed by hints of iron ore, tilled soil, lavender and star anise plus a touch of powdered cinnamon. Medium to full-bodied, the palate has a fantastically chiseled structure of ripe, grainy tannins and bold freshness supporting the black fruit and floral layers, finishing with bags of minerals. (LPB)" (11/2020)
Starting Bid: $1,900.00

Bid on this magnum of 2013 Schrader "Old Sparky" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (OWC - 100RP, 98JS) in original wood. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Old Sparky, which is essentially made from clone 4 from two separate blocks, clone 6 and clone 337, is another perfect wine from the Schraders. I suppose it’s a little boring to say, and perhaps I can be accused of creating unrealistic expectations on the part of readers, but this is as great as Cabernet can be. Tasting like a first-growth Pauillac, the wine is opaque purple and has a fabulous nose of lead pencil, spring flowers, blueberry and blackberry and the telltale cassis. There is also some licorice and sweet oak, the tannins are ripe, and the wine full-bodied. (RP)" (10/2015)
Starting Bid: $1,205.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2010 The Mascot Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend. The 2010 vintage is the third release of the Mascot, Will Harlan's wine produced with grapes from the younger vines at Harlan Estate and BOND. Notes from the winemaker: "2010 was one of the coolest years in recent memory, and one that provided a nurturing backdrop for these young rooted vines to express themselves. The growing season began late, with budbreak occurring in mid to late April. Extra diligence and care were required of the team at every stage during leafing, fruit thinning, and harvest. Nature was benevolent during the long, measured harvest, allowing our team to pick each lot as it ripened. Notes of graphite, cedar, and forest floor are ever-present on the nose. On entry the wine is brought into focus seamlessly through a fine lens of acidity, lending energy and freshness to power and structure. Soft yet supple tannins expand out horizontally on the palate, resolving into an extremely long finish."
Starting Bid: $220.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2016 Dakota Shy "Next Chapter" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95VN). Vinous: "The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Next Chapter emerges from a striking hillside site in Conn Valley farmed by vineyard guru Jim Barbour. Rich, deep and beautifully layered, this sumptuous, deeply expressive Cabernet hits all the right notes. Captivating, exotic aromatics, dark, layered fruit and plush tannins elevate the Next Chapter into the realm of the sublime. What a gorgeous wine it is. (AG) 95+" (12/2018)
Starting Bid: $200.00

Bid on this bottle of 1986 Caymus "Special Selection" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95WS, 94RP). Wine Spectator: "This remains a remarkably complex and flavorful wine, but now it's elegant and refined as well, with polished tannins. Classic Caymus in that it stretches the flavors, with a range that goes from herb and tea to ripe plum and cherry. Finishing with a long, complex aftertaste. (JL)" (12/1996)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this bottle of 2006 Harlan "The Maiden" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (93WE, 91JS, 91RP, 91ST). Wine Enthusiast: "In recent years The Maiden has been getting nearly as good as Harlan Estate, so that at less than one-third the price, it’s a comparative bargain. The '06 Maiden is very ripe and rich, displaying New World, cult-style flamboyance. Softly tannic and bone dry, the flavors are of blackberries, black currants and spicy cedar wood. *Cellar Selection* " (04/2010)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2015 Caymus Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Deep purple-black in color, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon springs from the glass with lifted crème de cassis, violets and chocolate box notes plus hints of lilacs, raspberry leaves, anise and cardamom. The perfumed black fruit preserves and chocolate-laced notes completely pack the full-bodied palate, with soft, velvety tannins and just enough freshness, finishing very long and very spicy. Definitely one for hedonists seeking immediate gratification. (LPB) 94+" (10/2017)
Starting Bid: $210.00

Bid on this 2-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2018 Patria "A. Price Vineyard" St. Helena Cabernet Sauvignon (95DC) and 1-bottle of 2018 Patria "Avoyelles" Oakville Bordeaux Blend (98JD). Of the 2018 Patria "Avoyelles" Oakville Bordeaux Blend, Jeb Dunnuck writes: "A magical wine in every sense, the 2018 Avoyelles Oakville Ranch checks in as 48% Cabernet Franc, 46% Cabernet Sauvignon, and the rest Petit Verdot. More expressive than the A. Price Vineyard (which should be expected, given the difference in the blends), is has a beautiful perfume of crème de cassis, red currants, toasted spice, graphite, and dried flowers, with a touch of tobacco and earth developing with time in the glass. Hitting the palate with full-bodied richness, it has a layered, multi-dimensional texture, incredible tannins, and a great, great finish. In the same league as the 2013, 2015, 2016, and 2017, it’s a brilliant wine to enjoy over the coming 15-20 years or more." (01/2021)
Starting Bid: $160.00

Bid on this 3-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2005 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (97RP, 97W&S, 96VN), 1-bottle of 2006 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (95VN, 94JD, 94RP), and 1-bottle of 2007 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (97JS, 95JG, 95RP, 94ST, 94VN, 94W&S). Of the 2005 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "The 2005 Monte Bello is beginning to drink very well indeed, revealing complex aromas of sweet currant fruit, rich soil, cedar cigar box and sweet spices. (WK)" (05/2018)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2008 Joseph Phelps "Backus" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (97RP, 94WS, 93ST, 93WE, 92JS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon Backus is a beautifully delineated wine endowed with tons of personality and sheer class. The wine comes alive in the glass, with crushed rose petals, dark raspberry jam, licorice and spices. There is an exotic element to the fruit that is highly appealing. Today the tannins are quite firm, suggesting the wine needs at least a few more years in the cellar. (AG)" (12/2011)
Starting Bid: $420.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Forman Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97VN, 96DC, 95RP, 94JS, 92JG). Vinous: "A totally dazzling wine, Ric Forman's 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon is easily one of the wines of the vintage. Today, the 2013 is dense, powerful and explosive, with fabulous energy and tons of sheer intensity. Graphite, smoke, tobacco and layers of dark-fleshed fruit all open up in the glass. This is the first vintage to incorporate a dollop of Malbec. The 2013 has just been bottled. I will not be surprised at all if it merits a higher rating at some point in the future. Even better from bottle than it was from barrel, Ric Forman's 2013 is a super-classic, old-school Napa Cabernet to treasure for the next three decades. Best of all, Forman's Cabernet is probably the single greatest value in Napa Valley Cabernet. (AG) 97+" (10/2015)
Starting Bid: $255.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Rivers-Marie "Lore Vineyard" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (97RP, 97VN). Vinous: "The undisputed crown jewel in this lineup, the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Lore Vineyard is every bit as fabulous in bottle as it was from barrel. Here the impression is of explosive energy and pure verticality. A rush of dark red and black fruit, melted road tar, cloves, licorice and leather punctuates the explosive, creamy finish. All the magic of eastern Oakville comes through in spades. (AG)" (10/2015)
Starting Bid: $325.00

Bid on this bottle of 2016 Lail "J. Daniel Cuvée" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 98JD, 97JS, 96VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "One-hundred percent Cabernet Sauvignon aged 20 months in 75% new French oak, the 2016 J Daniel Cuvee is deep garnet-purple in color and offers up exuberant notes of crème de cassis, chocolate-covered cherries, wild blueberries, violets and unsmoked cigars with touches of garrigue, fragrant earth, powdered cinnamon, black olives and tree bark. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is built like a brick house, with a solid frame of firm, grainy tannins and seamless freshness supporting the taut, muscular fruit, finishing long and minerally. (LPB)" (10/2018)
Starting Bid: $200.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2016 Myriad "Three Twins Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97RP, 94JD, 94VN, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Deep purple-black in color and composed of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Three Twins Vineyard comes drifting effortlessly out of the glass with beautiful exotic spice, incense and potpourri scents—star anise, cumin seed, gingerbread, Sichuan pepper, sandalwood and dried roses—over a crème de cassis and mulberries core plus wafts of cigar box and dusty soil. Full-bodied and profoundly fruited with black berry preserves and exotic spice layers, it has a firm backbone of ripe, grainy tannins and oodles of freshness lifting the very long, fragrant finish. (LBP) 97+" (10/2018)
Starting Bid: $185.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2017 Château Montelena "Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon.
Starting Bid: $340.50

Bid on this 5 liter of 2004 Pride Mountain Napa-Sonoma Counties Cabernet Sauvignon (5L) (OWC - 93ST, 92WE, 91W&S) in original wood. Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Saturated, bright medium ruby. Crushed cassis, licorice and minerals on the nose. Pure, primary black fruit and mineral flavors framed and enlivened by surprisingly juicy acidity. Very firmly built, vibrant wine with the structure to reward aging. Winemaker Bob Foley noted that Pride's Cabernet had better than usual acidity in 2004, and certainly more than in 2003 or 2002; the harvest here lasted into early November. (ST)" (06/2007)
Starting Bid: $500.00

Bid on this bottle of 1988 Opus One Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (94DC, 92VN, 91RP). Decanter: "This wine stands out in the line-up, with spicy black olive and rosemary notes, great concentration of fruit and an expansive feel through the mid-palate. Low yields from a growing season that was not easy, and interstingly here the alcohol has tipped over 13% and we don't see it under that level again. Firm tannins that are still very much holding court, and this has plenty of life ahead. 28 days skin contact. (JA)" (09/2019)
Starting Bid: $245.00

Bid on this bottle of 2000 Clos Pegase Napa Cabernet Sauvignon. The principal sources for the Clos Pegase Cabernet Sauvignon are their 40-acre Palisades Vineyard, nestled at the base of Mt. St. Helena, and the spare plot known as Graveyard Hill in Carneros. Both of these vineyards, despite their dramatic climatic differences, share well-drained, rocky terrain that stress and concentrate the resulting berries. The Clos Pegase Cab is very dark in color and shows intensely concentrated flavors of chocolate, cassis, black cherry and hints of vanilla. The wine is very full in the mouth and will age well over the next 5 years. It can be enjoyed now with foods like grilled lamb, beef or with cheese.
Starting Bid: $45.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2016 Continuum "Sage Mountain Vineyard" St. Helena Bordeaux Blend (100JS, 100VN, 93WS). Vinous: "The 2016 Proprietary Red Wine Sage Mountain Vineyard may very well be the single greatest vintage made here thus far. It is quite simply a stunning wine and a towering achievement from the Mondavi family. Powerful, ample and sweeping in stature, the 2016 boasts breathtaking intensity in all of its dimensions. I see the pure, vibrant fruit of the 2013, but with more finessed tannins that add to the wine's feeling of real sensuality. Bright, precise and finely sculpted with remarkable persistence and perfectly integrated tannins, the 2016 is positively stellar - not to mention one of the wines of the vintage. (AG)" (01/2020)
Starting Bid: $400.00

Bid on this bottle of 2016 Carter "The O.G. - Beckstoffer To Kalon" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100JD, 99RP, 96VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon The O.G. comes all from the 337 clone of Cabernet Sauvignon and, like all these wines, was brought up in new French oak. It's slightly more fresh, focused, and chiseled compared to the G.T.O and has building notes of blackcurrants, camphor, scorched earth, chocolate, and graphite, with a beautiful violet character coming through with time in the glass. Deep, rich, full-bodied, and powerful, with perfect balance between its fruit, tannins, acidity, and alcohol, it's a monumental Napa Cabernet Sauvignon that's going to drink beautifully for 2+ decades." (01/2019)
Starting Bid: $260.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2018 Outpost "True Vineyard" Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (95JD, 95RP, 94VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon True Vineyard has a deep garnet-purple color, prancing out of the glass with flamboyant notes of stewed plums, crème de cassis and baked blackberries, plus touches of bay leaves, lavender, unsmoked cigars, pencil lead and tilled earth. Full-bodied, the palate has a rock-solid foundation of firm, grainy tannins and a lively line, finishing long and lifted. (LPB) 95+" (01/2021)
Starting Bid: $300.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1986 Château Montelena "Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 92VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This great wine exhibits a black/purple color, a fabulous, sweet, pure, cassis-scented nose, massive body and richness, and total harmony among its components - fruit, wood, alcohol, acidity, and tannin. Still exceptionally youthful and vigorous, with no signs of age in either its color or taste, this 1986 could easily pass for a 3-4 year old California Cabernet. It is an extraordinary effort that appears to be a legitimate candidate for the 'wine of the vintage.' So what's new? Owners of this beauty should try a bottle for its pure, glorious richness, but this wine has 15-20 more years of delicious drinking. A bodacious Cabernet! (RP)" (08/1996)
Starting Bid: $290.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2019 Quivet "Shiverick Reserve - Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. A new addition to the Quivet lineup, the Shiverick Reserve is from a two-barrel lot sourced from a relatively newly planted section of the Las Piedras Vineyard. Jeb Dunnuck gave the regular Piedras bottling a 97-100-point score and called it "pure magic in 2019 and a thrilling Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon that readers should snatch up!"
Starting Bid: $300.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2016 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (98VN, 97JD, 96RP, 96W&S, 96WS, 95JS, 94DC). Vinous: "One of the highlights in this tasting, the 2016 Monte Bello has turned out just as beautifully as I hoped it would. Soaring aromatics, bright acids and mid-weight structure give the 2016 a super-classic feel. Clearly, the 2016 is very primary today, with plenty of bright red and purplish berry fruit. More than that, though, the 2016 pulses with energy and simply exceptional balance. Don't miss it! (AG)" (10/2019)

Bid on this 3-bottle tasting lot; including 2-bottles of 2011 Rivers-Marie "Panek Vineyard" St. Helena Cabernet Sauvignon (93VN) and 1-bottle of 2012 Rivers-Marie "Panek Vineyard" St. Helena Cabernet Sauvignon (97RP, 92VN, 90WS). Of the 2012 Rivers-Marie "Panek Vineyard" St. Helena Cabernet Sauvignon, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Panek Vineyard (14.4% alcohol) was aged in 70% new oak. Made from four Cabernet clones (Clones 169, 7, 4 and 6), it comes from a vineyard on the valley floor at the end of the Aida Vineyard that Vineyard 29 has made famous. Copious notes of earth, charcoal embers, wet gravel, garrigue, blackberry and blackcurrants are accompanied by a long, deep wine with sweet tannins, a fabulous mouthfeel, an opulent, velvety texture, and tremendous length as well as richness. Drink it over the next two decades. (RP)" (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $215.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2017 Realm "Houyi Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96JS, 95JD, 94RP, 93VN). James Suckling: "Blueberry and blackberry aromas with mineral and floral undertones. Inky. Medium to full body. Firm, silky tannins. Very integrated and fine. Mineral and stone. Persistent and fresh." (02/2020)
Starting Bid: $450.00

Bid on this bottle of 2014 Hundred Acre "Kayli Morgan" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (99RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Medium garnet-purple colored, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Kayli Morgan Vineyard simply sings of potpourri, spice cake and rose hip tea with menthol, tilled soil, tobacco and earth plus a waft of crushed stones. The full-bodied palate is fantastically dense and beautifully perfumed with lovely freshness and super fine-grained tannins, finishing very, very long. (LPB)" (12/2018)
Starting Bid: $500.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2009 Harlan "The Maiden" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (93RP, 92ST, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2009 Proprietary Blend The Maiden wraps around the palate with dark cherries, plums, cinnamon, cloves and new leather. This is a surprisingly muscular style for the year, with quite a bit less of the early appeal than is found in many other wines. The aromas and flavors remain dark, powerful and brooding from start to finish. Flowers, cinnamon and mint add further complexity on the finish. (AG)" (12/2012)
Starting Bid: $480.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Lewis Cellars "Hillstone Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97WS). Wine Spectator: "Gorgeous, ripe and rich, without excess weight, this offers pure currant and dark and red berry flavors that are supple and graceful, with seductive creamy mocha—laced oak. The finish echoes fruit, black licorice, cedar and hot brick. (JL)" (02/2016)
Starting Bid: $300.00

Bid on this bottle of 2014 Hall "Exzellenz" Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon (99JD, 95RP). Jeb Dunnuck: "I absolutely loved the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Exzellenze, and it pairs awesome depth and richness with crazy levels of purity. Crème de cassis, toasty oak, graphite and white flower characteristics flow to a full-bodied, perfectly balanced, silky red that doesn't put a foot wrong. 99+" (12/2017)
Starting Bid: $160.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2009 Scarecrow "M. Étain" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 94WS, 93RP) in original wood. Wine Spectator: "Amazingly complex, firm, dense and concentrated, with a vivid, lively, structured mix of dried currant, mineral, cedar, sage and tobacco notes. Fills out nicely on the finish and holds its focus, ending with a satisfyingly chewy, rich bundle of dark berry fruit. (JL)" (04/2012)
Starting Bid: $695.00

Bid on this bottle of 1987 Dunn Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (97WS, 96VN, 94RP). Wine Spectator: "A powerful, young wine, even at age 10. Dark, ripe, intense and deeply concentrated, this one is years from peaking. Packed with a rich, earthy core of currant, mineral, anise, sage and cedar. Quite tannic in this tasting, the fruit poured through on the finish. (JL)" (12/1997)
Starting Bid: $255.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2005 Peter Michael "Les Pavots" Knights Valley Bordeaux Blend (95RP, 93ST, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2005 Les Pavots (3, 600 cases of 63% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Cabernet Franc, 12% Merlot, and the rest Petit Verdot) is a sensational wine, with a style that suggests a hypothetical blend of a great St.-Emilion and Pomerol. Chocolatey cassis notes intermixed with incense, licorice, and a hint of black olive are present in this wine. When it hits the palate, it comes across as very Pomerol-like, with lushness, full body, and opulence. The tannins are sweet, the pH high, and the wine gorgeously full, pure, dense, and long. It’s a terrific example of non-interventionalist winemaking that has turned out a beautiful, silky-textured wine that should age effortlessly for 15+ years. (RP)" (12/2007)
Starting Bid: $390.00

Bid on this bottle of 2007 Araujo "Eisele Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98JS, 98WE, 95ST, 93RP). Wine Enthusiast: "Profoundly beautiful aroma on this Cab, a perfect union of oaky char and vanilla with ripe blackberries and cassis. Hard to exaggerate the beauty. Powerful, yet never pushy, with classic Napa balance. Rich, sweet, almost meaty, with massive tannins that are refined and smooth. Very great density and weight." (06/2011)
Starting Bid: $260.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Lewis Cellars "Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96WS). Wine Spectator: "A gorgeous effort, delivering a wealth of rich, dense dark berry, chocolate, cedary oak, dried herb and black licorice flavors. Despite the size and strong personality, this is graceful and firm, with tender tannins. Drink now through 2028. *Highly Recommended* (JL)" (10/2015)
Starting Bid: $310.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2004 Robert Mondavi Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon (95WS, 91ST). Wine Spectator: "Beautifully crafted, rich, chewy and concentrated, yet with a wonderful lift to the flavors. Refreshing, vibrant and supple-textured, with layers of anise, currant, sage and mineral that unfold gracefully, ending with a long finish that has just the right mix of ripe fruit and tannins. (JL)" (11/2007)
Starting Bid: $240.00

Bid on this magnum of 2016 Screaming Eagle Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (100JS, 100RP, 100VN). James Suckling: "The subtle and nuanced aromas to this are so enticing with perfumed, floral, blackcurrant and blackberry character. Roses, too. Some lavender. Full-bodied yet so refined and polished with the most transparent and polished texture. Firm and seamless. So beautiful now. Give it three or four years to come around, but this already sings." (05/2019)
Starting Bid: $6,500.00

Bid on this bottle of 2015 Realm "Farella Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, 97JD, 97JS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Produced from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon coming from a vineyard in the relatively cooler AVA of Coombsville, the opaque purple-black colored 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Farella Vineyard reveals notes of spice cake, star anise and cloves over a core of warm plums, red and black currants and black olives, plus a hint of iron ore. The medium to full-bodied, taut, firmly structured palate gives up vibrant fruit and a long, mineral-laced finish. (LPB)" (10/2017)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this magnum of 2013 Tusk Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L). Decant and serve at 60-65 degrees, Tusk recommends of this release. Bid on this bottle of 2013 Robert Mondavi "Maestro 50th Anniversary" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend. After leaving his family's Charles Krug Winery, Robert Mondavi sought to change the landscape of wine by showing that the wines of California could compete with the very best in the world. This bottling was released in 2016 in celebration of the 50 years of the Robert Mondavi Winery. The winemaker notes: "The grapes were hand-harvested into small bins and carefully sorted in our gravity-flow cellar. The clusters were gently destemmed directly into traditional French oak tanks for cold soak, fermentation and extended maceration - a total of 33 days of wine to skin contact - maximizing the extraction of varietal character and complexity while keeping the tannins fleshy and supple. "
Starting Bid: $35.00

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Darioush "Signature" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95WE, 91CG). Wine Enthusiast: "Smoky leather and cigar make for a formidable entry on the nose before huge, layered tannins rise to the fore. A balance of acidity and brightness lurks beneath the weight, rounded by succulent blackberry and black cherry. *Top 100 wines of 2015, Cellar Selection* (VB)" (12/2015)
Starting Bid: $97.02

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Eisele Vineyard Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 98JS, 95DC, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Both 2013s are clearly the finest Eisele wines made under the administration of François Pinault and his top lieutenant, Frédéric Engerer, who also runs the show at Château Latour. The utterly compelling 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon in this vintage and 1, 800 cases were made. The wine is off-the-charts great, with an opaque bluish/purple color to the rim, an aroma of pen ink, graphite, blackberry and blueberry fruit, a hint of licorice, camphor and incense. The wine is full-bodied, with extraordinary concentration, remarkable equilibrium and noticeable, but sweet, well-integrated tannin. This is a large-scaled Eisele Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, but flawless and with no edges. It is an amazing effort and a great achievement from this incredible terroir. Drink it over the next 30-40 years. (RP)" (10/2016)
Starting Bid: $1,080.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2019 Myriad "Empyrean - Beckstoffer Georges III" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon ((97-99JD), 97RP). Jeb Dunnuck: "As with the Elysian, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Georges III Vineyard Empyrean is a tiny barrel selection from this larger vineyard in Rutherford. A similar nose of ripe black fruits, tobacco leaf, chocolate, and gravelly earth notes give way to a full-bodied, pure, balanced, nicely structured Cabernet that's going to warrant 3-5 years of bottle age." (01/2021)
Starting Bid: $350.00

Bid on this bottle of 2016 Realm "The Absurd" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (100JD, 99RP). Jeb Dunnuck: "Lastly, and made with the idea of producing the best of the best (it’s the first blend the team put together), the 2016 The Absurd checks in as 66% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Cabernet Franc, 15% Merlot, the rest Petit Verdot brought up in new barrels. It’s a hedonistic dream offering incredible black and blue fruits, gravelly minerality, cold fireplace, smoke tobacco, and forest floor. Deep, layered, and straight-up massive on the palate, it’s another wine from this estate that stays weightless and elegant. Few wines can carry this incredible mix of richness and elegance, and this beauty is unquestionably one of the finest wines in the vintage." (09/2018)
Starting Bid: $850.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2007 Shafer "Hillside Select" Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 97JS, 97WE, 95VN, 94DC, 92W&S). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Deep purple-black colored, the 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Hillside Select exudes beautiful notions of violets, dark chocolate, black olives, spice cake and cedar chest with a core of crème de cassis, blackberry pie, plum preserves and fragrant earth plus a waft of unsmoked cigars. Full-bodied, super concentrated and jam-packed with multilayered black and blue fruits, it has a rock-solid frame of grainy tannins and fantastic freshness, finishing long with tons of exotic spice and savory sparks. (LPB)" (08/2018)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2018 Dominus Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (100JD, 100JS, 99RP, 97VN, 97WS). James Suckling: "This is incredible on the nose, offering hot stones, blackcurrants, iodine and wet earth. Full-bodied with a tight center palate, then it opens with a tannin structure that is weightless and spreads across the palate. Totally integrated on the palate. This is a magic-carpet wine. Really incredible. One of the reference points for the vintage. Drinkable now and please try a bottle, but it’s one for the cellar." (05/2021)

Bid on this bottle of 2014 Carter "Beckstoffer To Kalon - The O.G." Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97RP, 97VN, 95JS). Vinous: "The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard The O.G. is the wine where everything comes together. The fruit is ripe, but not too ripe. There is plenty of intensity and richness in the glass, but all the elements fall into place effortlessly. On the palate, the O.G. is sensual, silky and voluptuous, with all the best attributes of this famous site front and center. Crème de cassis, lavender and licorice are some of the many notes that build in the glass in this fabulous Cabernet Sauvignon. The O.G. captures the best of Mark Carter's style. (AG)" (12/2016)
