Bid on this bottle of 1995 Pichon-Lalande, Pauillac (96RP, 94WS, 92ST, 91DC). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "What sumptuous pleasures await those who purchase either the 1996 or 1995 Pichon-Lalande. It is hard to choose a favorite, although the 1995 is a smoother, more immediately sexy and accessible wine. It is an exquisite example of Pichon-Lalande with the Merlot component giving the wine a coffee/chocolatey/cherry component to go along with the Cabernet Sauvignon's and Cabernet Franc's complex blackberry/cassis fruit. The wine possesses an opaque black/ruby/purple color, and sexy, flamboyant aromatics of pain grille, black fruits, and cedar. Exquisite on the palate, this full-bodied, layered, multidimensional wine should prove to be one of the vintage's most extraordinary success stories. (RP)" (02/1998)
Starting Bid: $170.00

Bid on this bottle of 2000 Latour, Pauillac (100JS, 99VN, 99WS, 98RP, 98WE, 97ST). James Suckling: "Latour has made truly great wines in the past two decades—and this is one of the best. It has fabulous aromas of black truffles, currants, raspberry and dried flowers. Mind-blowing on the palate, it’s an emotional and soulful red." (04/2014)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2005 Tenuta Sette Ponti "Oreno" Toscana (95WE, 95WS). Wine Enthusiast: "A blockbuster wine with finely tuned renderings of coffee, tobacco, spice and leather, Oreno requires a rare steak cooked on a mesquite grill or something similarly big and bold. In the mouth, this Sangiovese-Merlot-Cabernet blend delivers loads of spice that leaves a lasting impression thanks its firm tannins. Drink after 2010." (04/2008)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1979 Cheval Blanc, St-Emilion. Cheval Blanc is a Premier Grand Cru Classé A — one of a small number of elite St-Emilion producers at the top of their classification. Holding a pretty impressive 91 acres of land in this small appellation, the winery makes one of Bordeaux's most profound and collectible wines. Cheval Blanc is often (and understandably) confused with Bordeaux's first growths, but the 1855 classification did not extend to St-Emilion. The deserved praises of Cheval Blanc have been sung for quite some time, notably by Robert Parker, having a great effect on the popularity of the wine. The vineyards are planted to 66% Cabernet Franc and 34% Merlot. The 2012 cuvée is 46% Cabernet Franc and 54% Merlot.
Starting Bid: $975.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 1990 Robert Mondavi "Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94RP, 92WS, 90VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This wine is just beginning to drink spectacularly well. The rustic, big, thick 1990 is Californian in its orientation. It is loaded with flavor, but the tannin is coarser when compared to the seamlessness of the 1991's. (RP)" (08/2002)
Starting Bid: $420.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2005 La Bienfaisance, St-Emilion (90RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2005 La Bienfaisance is a rich, concentrated wine with loads of blackcurrant and black cherry fruit along with some earthiness and subtle background oak. It is medium to full-bodied, ripe, and extremely well-made in a progressive, modern St-Emilion style. (RP)" (06/2015)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this bottle of 2002 Harlan Estate Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (100RP, 99WE, 98ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The extraordinary Harlan Estate, which I awarded 100 points seven years ago, offers no justifiable reason to doubt its perfect score. It is still a baby, with an inky purple color and notes of smoky camphor intermixed with creme de cassis, Asian soy and a hint of cedar beginning to emerge as well as some espresso and subtle damp forest floor notes. The wine has awesome intensity, a full-bodied mouthfeel, a skyscraper-like texture, and a finish that goes on for close to a minute. This is a perfect wine, still youthful and young, and not even in full adolescence as of 2012. It has 40 or more years ahead of it, but should hit its plateau of full maturity in another 5-10 years. It is certainly one of the most showy, flamboyant and remarkable Harlan Estates made to date. Kudos to Bill Harlan! (RP)" (06/2012)
Starting Bid: $925.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1986 Margaux, Margaux (98VN, 97RP, 95WS). Vinous: "The 1986 Château Margaux was even more emotionally moving. Still incredibly youthful, it showed incredible focus and depth, all backed up by considerable structure. As hard as it may seem to believe, on this night the 1986 appeared to still be some years away from peaking. It was striking in every way. (AG) 98+" (02/2012)
Starting Bid: $1,425.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1985 Mouton-Rothschild, Pauillac (99JS, 94JG, 93DC). James Suckling: "What an awe-inspiring nose of currants, shaved lead pencil, white truffles and earth. It's full-bodied and enveloped by silky tannins that lead to an earthy, long finish. Old, traditional Bordeaux with soul and remarkable complexity. Sensational. " (10/2015)
Starting Bid: $927.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Myriad "Three Twins Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94RP, 93JS, 92VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Three Twins Vineyard emerges from a site that winemaker Mike Smith has found in Conn Valley. The wine shows a more earthy side to his brilliant winemaking skills, showing blueberry and blackberry fruit, but there is more of an underlying minerality and loamy soil, earthiness. It is full-bodied, rich, pure, and multilayered aa well as textured. It should drink well for at least 20-25 years. (RP)" (12/2015)
Starting Bid: $160.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2003 Branaire-Ducru, St-Julien (94JS, 94RP, 93WS, 92ST, 92VN, 91WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This fully mature, gorgeous 2003 Branaire Ducru possesses silky tannins, lots of cedary, spice box, floral, black cherry, forest floor and velvety leather-like notes, full body, and an opulent, complex yet elegant style. A beauty of complexity, richness and finesse. (RP)" (08/2014)

Bid on this 3-half-bottle lot of 2010 Ridge Vineyards Monte Bello Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (375ml) (98WS, 97JS, 97VN, 96RP, 96W&S, 95DC, 95ST). Wine Spectator: A highlight of the tasting, with rocking energy, dense black currant and black berry fruit and loads of singed wood thoroughly embedded throughout. Juicy bramble, alder and bay leaf notes chime in, with a mouthwatering mineral spine buried deep on the finish.—Non-blind Ridge Monte Bello vertical (June 2019). (JM, Web-2019)

Bid on this 2-magnum lot of 2016 Larkmead Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (98WE, (92-95JD), 94JS, 93VN, 93WS, 92RP). Wine Enthusiast: This stellar, powerhouse wine is perfumed in aromas of pencil, leather and sage that season a core of mineral and crushed rock. The fruit is equally savory in currant and plum, with a dusting of dark chocolate. *Editors' Choice* (VB) (11/2019)

Bid on this magnum of 1987 Silver Oak "Bonny's Vineyard" Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L).
Starting Bid: $220.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2014 Louis M. Martini Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The bigger, richer 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Alexander Valley is 98% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Petite Sirah aged 16 months in 50% new French and American casks. This is a bigger wine and close to 2% higher in alcohol at 15.5%. There are 11, 000 cases of this big, full-bodied, boisterous Cabernet Sauvignon that has a dense ruby/purple color, notes of underbrush, forest floor, tobacco leaf and oodles of blackcurrants and black cherries, with a touch of woodsmoke. The full-bodied wine hits the palate with a cascade of glycerin, fruit and purity. This is a beauty-dense, rich, and structured, but capable of lasting 20 or more years. It is hard to believe that the iconic Louis M. Martini Winery first made Napa Cabernet Sauvignon in 1933. (RP)" (10/2016)
Starting Bid: $165.00

Bid on this 3-half-bottle lot of 2013 Ridge Vineyards Monte Bello Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (375ml) (98VN, 95W&S). Vinous: The 2013 Monte Bello is utterly spellbinding in its beauty. Finely sculpted and chiseled, with super-expressive aromatics and searing tannins, the 2013 is shaping up to be a modern-day classic. The 2013 is remarkably pure and vibrant for such a big wine. It will be years before the 2013 is close to being ready to drink. Even so, it is magnificent today. Where will the 2013 end up? The future seems limitless for now. Quite simply, the 2013 is a must-have wine. In 2013, Monte Bello is very heavy in Cabernet Sauvignon, partly because Merlot suffered in the drought-like conditions. The 2013 has already begun to shut down in bottle. Readers need to be in for the long haul. (AG) (07/2016)

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2015 La Mission Haut-Brion Rouge, Pessac-Léognan (OWC - 100JS, 98JD, 98RP, 96DC, 96VN, 96WE, 96WS) in original wood. James Suckling: "Rose petals, sandalwood and currants with some plums and fruit tea. Full-bodied, tight and focused. Incredibly straight and minerally. Toned muscles here. Tannic. Traditional and unwavering." (02/2018)

Bid on this 2-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2011 Morlet "Passionnément" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon ((92-94VN), 91RP, 91ST) and 1-bottle of 2012 Morlet "Passionnément" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (96JD, 95VN, 94RP). Of the 2012 Morlet "Passionnément" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon, Jeb Dunnuck writes: "During my tasting with Luc, I was also able to taste a few older vintages. The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Passionnement is showing beautifully and has the open, sexy, seamless style of the vintage front and center. Blueberries, graphite, loads of spice, and some forest floor notes give way to a full-bodied, elegant and seamless 2012 that’s on the early edge of its drink window." (06/2018)
Starting Bid: $210.00

Bid on this bottle of 2018 MacDonald Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon.
Starting Bid: $343.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Beringer "Private Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97RP, 95VN, 94JS, 93WE, 93WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "One of the great efforts of recent years, and not surprisingly so, is the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Private Reserve, a blend of 81% from Howell Mountain, 11% from St. Helena and the rest Calistoga and Mount Veeder. It is a blend of 96% Cabernet Sauvignon 3% Cabernet Franc and 1% Petit Verdot aged 20 months in 84% new French oak. At 15.2% natural alcohol, this is a big boy, but also classic Napa Cabernet Sauvignon with crème de cassis, graphite, licorice, and a touch of spicy oak. Winemaker Laurie Hook, who has since departed as winemaker, really hit a home run with this beauty. The wine could benefit from 7-10 years cellaring and probably last 30 to 40. (RP)" (03/2016)
Starting Bid: $315.00

Bid on this bottle of 1995 Joseph Phelps "Insignia" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (98RP, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "A wine of great intensity and richness, it displays classic notes of licorice, barbecue smoke, creme de cassis, cedarwood and forest floor. Full-bodied with sensational purity, a multidimensional mouthfeel and a long, voluptuous finish with no hard edges, it has only reached mid-adolescence, and has at least two decades of life ahead of it. (RP)" (11/2013)
Starting Bid: $190.00

Bid on this magnum of 1987 Robert Mondavi "Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (97RP, 93WS, 90ST). 97 points Robert Parker: "This extraordinary wine is backward and unevolved, but even neophytes will recognize its potential greatness. The opaque, saturated, dark purple color reveals no sign of age. The huge, smoky, oaky, blackcurrant, herb, and vanillin-scented nose only hints at what will be achieved with further evolution. Sweet, decadently rich, dense, highly extracted flavors are wrapped around a full-bodied, chewy, super-concentrated, moderately tannic wine that, ideally, needs 7-8 more years of cellaring. It is a 25 to 30 year California Cabernet Sauvignon that is just beginning to become civilized. A potential legend in the making!" (08/94)
Starting Bid: $250.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1978 Léoville-Las-Cases, St-Julien (90RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1978 Las Cases has taken on a garnet hue with some dark ruby tints. The nose is more complex and penetrating than the flavors. The wine offers classic, mineral, lead pencil, smoky, earthy scents, with plenty of ripe fruit, and none of the vegetal herbaceousness that many 1978s have begun to exhibit. The attack offers good ripeness, medium to full body, higher acidity than many more recent vintages, and considerable tannin in the hard finish. Although this wine possesses outstanding complexity, the high tannin level may never fully melt away. (RP)" (10/1995)
Starting Bid: $350.25

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1979 Ausone, St-Émilion (93JG, 92VN). John Gilman: "The 1979 Ausone is a glorious bottle of wine, and clearly one of the greatest wines of the vintage. The stunning bouquet soars from the glass in a blaze of black cherries, menthol, woodsmoke, chocolate, notes of venison, glorious soil tones and just a bit of vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, deep and quite powerful for the vintage, with perfect focus and balance, excellent mid-palate concentration, and a very long, complex and beautifully balanced finish. The tannins here are falling away, but the ’79 Ausone has plenty of integrated, gentle acidity to carry it for years to come. What a pity that this château has gone over to the dark side, as this has to be one of the most unique and compelling terroirs in all of Bordeaux. Fine, fine juice. 93+" (01/2019)
Starting Bid: $985.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2013 Chateau Montelena "Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 95DC, 95VN, 94WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate opens with profound black and red currant cordial notes over an undercurrent of Indian spices, chargrill, scorched earth and bay leaves. Medium-bodied with wonderful intensity and depth in the mouth, it has a firm frame of grainy tannins and compelling freshness, finishing long and layered. (LPB)" (03/2018)
Starting Bid: $725.00

Bid on this magnum of 1997 Joseph Phelps "Insignia" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (1.5L) (100RP, 97WS, 95WE, 94ST, 93W&S). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "An inky/plum/purple color is accompanied by a stunning bouquet of violets, charcoal, creme de cassis and a hint of toast. Prodigious when it hits the palate with a full-bodied expansiveness, there is not a hard edge to be found in the 1997, only velvety tannins, compelling depth and fruit intensity, and stunning purity. It is a perfect expression of Napa viticulture and wine that should continue to age effortlessly for two decades or more. (RP)" (11/2013)
Starting Bid: $600.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 1988 Robert Mondavi "Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Dark ruby, with a light intensity nose of cassis and cigar box aromas, this wine exhibits good concentration, softness, adequate ripeness, and a short finish. (RP)" (04/1994)
Starting Bid: $360.00

Bid on this bottle of 2007 Shafer "Hillside Select" Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 97JS, 97WE, 95VN, 94DC, 92W&S). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Deep purple-black colored, the 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Hillside Select exudes beautiful notions of violets, dark chocolate, black olives, spice cake and cedar chest with a core of crème de cassis, blackberry pie, plum preserves and fragrant earth plus a waft of unsmoked cigars. Full-bodied, super concentrated and jam-packed with multilayered black and blue fruits, it has a rock-solid frame of grainy tannins and fantastic freshness, finishing long with tons of exotic spice and savory sparks. (LPB)" (08/2018)

Bid on this bottle of 2005 Pahlmeyer Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (95CG, 95RP, 94ST, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "As for the 2005 Proprietary Red, it is a blend of 84% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc and 1% each Petit Verdot and Malbec. While this might not be the blockbuster one would expect, there is outstanding depth, purity and overall texture and ripeness. Again, terrific acidity gives the wine vigor and precision, despite a lofty 15.2% alcohol. The wine is fresh and pure, with black raspberry and blackcurrant fruit, some white floral notes, and the telltale forest floor. Pahlmeyer’s wines age well, as I am still working off the 1995 and 1996 Proprietary Reds, which remain in great shape. (RP)" (06/2015)
Starting Bid: $110.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1982 Lynch-Bages, Pauillac (95JS, 94WS, 93RP, 92ST). James Suckling: "This shows intense aromas of mint, lead pencil and currants that follow through to a full body, with velvety tannins and a finish with tension and freshness. " (10/2012)
Starting Bid: $750.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1982 Beaulieu Vineyard "Georges de Latour Private Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (92JG, 90RP, 90VN). John Gilman: "The bouquet is deep, complex and classically Georges de Latour in its beautiful blend of red and black cherries, chocolate, a touch of coconutty oak, gentle cigar smoke and Rutherford dust in the upper register. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, deep and quite suave on the attack, with a fine core of fruit, gentle tannins, excellent focus and lovely length and grip on the pure, plush and refined finish. This is probably the last great classic vintage of the Georges de Latour bottling, and at least in magnum, it is drinking very well indeed and has plenty of life still ahead of it." (03/2009)
Starting Bid: $270.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2005 Quinault L'Enclos, St-Emilion (93ST, 92WS, 90JD). Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Medium ruby-red. Sexy aromas of cherry, minerals, iron and smoked meat. Juicy and sappy for the year, with lovely energy to the concentrated flavors of cherry, minerals, smoke, flowers and earth. Very sophisticated, shapely wine with a long, ripely tannic finish throwing off notes of smoke, minerals and iron. (ST)" (06/2008)
Starting Bid: $160.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2016 Repris "Right Bank - Moon Mountain Vineyard" Sonoma County Bordeaux Blend. This "Right Bank" blend from Repris is 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Franc from the Moon Mountain District in Sonoma.
Starting Bid: $170.00

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 1988 Giscours, Margaux. Wine Spectator: "Very firm in texture, with sharply focused currant, smoke and leather aromas and flavors that come off as gamy as they linger on the finish. The tannins keep it in check, but it's a possibility for long-term development." (04/1991)
Starting Bid: $350.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1982 Figeac, St-Emilion (95DC, 95JG, 94JS, 94RP, 92ST). Decanter: "The colour has been gently turning to brick ever since 2001 as we head through the vertical, and here we have a soft brick red. A legendary vintage, of course, that keeps surprising by how well it is holding up. This is still full of the rich pleasures of a late summer evening, even if you know the sun will set soon, and it makes you want to enjoy every last drop. Aromatics of cold ash, gentle woodsmoke and soft spices. The fruit is very much now at its gentlest, with notes of wild strawberries, salted caramel and wild roses. Wonderful. (JA)" (10/2017)
Starting Bid: $825.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1985 Ridge Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon. Ridge Vineyards wines are a staff favorite, possibly because many of our Redwood City staff used to work at Ridge, but mostly because these are stellar wines that age superbly, compare well with much higher-priced Bordeaux and Napa wines, and come from a winery with a stellar reputation. This bottle won't be here long. From the winery's archives: "Ridge is located in the Santa Cruz Mountains Viticultural Area overlooking San Francisco Bay. Along these foothills, in the mid-19th century, French settlers planted the first Cabernet vines in California. The climate and soils have proved ideal for the varietal. In the fine 1985 vintage, the oak contributes to the spicy fruit typical of this cool appellation. The tannins in this excellent wine are firm but balanced, and will soften considerably in the first year or two after release."
Starting Bid: $260.00

Bid on this magnum of 1991 Silver Oak Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (95RP, 90WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This superb Cabernet producer has finally released its splendid 1991s. The compelling 1991 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley exhibits more classic cassis notes without the subtle herbaceousness of the Alexander Valley wine. It is a multi-layered, fabulously rich, intense wine with full body, a velvety texture, and oodles of fruit, glycerin, and soft tannin in the finish. Both wines are already delicious, and will age gracefully for 12-15 years. (RP)" (10/1995)
Starting Bid: $200.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2009 Malescot-St-Exupéry, Margaux (98JS, 96RP, 94DC, 94WS). James Suckling: "A wine with intense spice and berry character, with hints of sweet tobacco. It changes all the time from flowers to fruit and wet earth. Full-bodied, with super fine tannins and ripe fruit. It's long and juicy with lovely fruit. Super long and beautiful, with fine tannins that last for minutes. Tight now, but juicy and gorgeous. Best ever from here." (02/2012)
Starting Bid: $345.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1982 Beaulieu Vineyard Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon. In 1900, when Georges de Latour decided to buy a small, four-acre property in the town of Rutherford as a surprise for his wife he, perhaps unwittingly, purchased a piece of Napa Valley history. The land would become the foundation for Beaulieu Vineyard, which survived Prohibition by having one of a handful of contracts to supply churches with sacramental wine. After Prohibition the winery continued to thrive, experimenting with varietals, blends and aging and under the direction of André Tchelistcheff, the winery would fast become one of California's preeminent producers.
Starting Bid: $135.01

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2010 Poggio al Tesoro "Sondraia" Bolgheri Superiore (93RP, 93VN). Vinous: "Poggio al Tesoro's 2010 Sondraia is gorgeous. A warm, expressive bouquet melds into plums, mocha, cloves and licorice in a resonant, layered wine full of Bolgheri generosity. The 2010 is 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc, but it is the Franc that marks the wine with its distinctly exotic spice and floral overtones. What a beautiful wine. (AG)" (08/2013)
Starting Bid: $310.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1991 Caymus Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (90WS). Wine Spectator: "Dark color. Sturdy, rich and concentrated, with complex currant, black cherry, tar, and plum flavors. Lacks the finesse and extra dimensions of the Special Selection, but still a very impressive, concentrated wine. (JL, Web-2002)"
Starting Bid: $210.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2006 Anderson's Conn Valley "Estate Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The unfined, unfiltered 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve spends two years in French oak and another year in the bottle before being released. This cuvee has a long track record of aging (the 1990 and 1991 are still going strong). The dense ruby/purple-tinged 2006 offers notes of new saddle leather, black currants, autumnal vegetation/forest floor, cassis, and cherries, superb richness, and a full-bodied, powerful finish. (RP)" (12/2009)
Starting Bid: $100.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1986 Montrose, St-Estèphe (98DC, 95WS, 92RP). Decanter: "This is a masterclass in the ageing aromas of Bordeaux. It sits exactly at the spot at which you still have a tightening and a menthol freshness on this finish, with cassis fruit that is still very much tight and young, but where the more gentle, spicy, brushed almond and cedar flavours start to intrude. Beautiful wine, amazing, it deepens through the palate, the expression changes and evolves, it's tertiary but still with flesh, gorgeous. (JA)" (03/2017)
Starting Bid: $370.00

Bid on this bottle of 1990 La Mission Haut-Brion, Pessac-Léognan (96RP, 94JG). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1990 La Mission Haut Brion is a wine that just gives so much pleasure that it seems almost immoral to criticize. For sure, it is not in the same league as the awe-inspiring 1989, yet it has such an engaging, quintessential La Mission bouquet full of warm gravel, chestnut, morels and bay leaf scents that you just fall instantly under its charms. It seems to just grow in the glass. The palate is beautifully balanced with great depth but is still a little grainy in texture, and I noticed how it evolved almost a Musigny-like personality with time in the glass. I suggested back in 2014 that it might improve with continued bottle age. Perhaps now I believe that it has reached the top of its plateau, yet the substance and the persistence—the energy—of this Pessac-Léognan suggests that it will give 20 years of drinking pleasure. (NM)" (06/2017)
Starting Bid: $480.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2015 Mithra Mt. Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine comes from Julien Fayard, who comes from a winemaking family in Provence, and is a former director of winemaking for Philippe Melka in Napa Valley.
Starting Bid: $313.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2011 Scarecrow "M. Étain" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 94VN) in original wood. Vinous: "The 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon M. Etain is fabulous. Dark raspberries, flowers, tobacco, mint and rose petals all meld together in a long, soulful wine loaded with personality. Today the tannins are a bit firm, but that should not be an issue in another few years, once the wine has come together a little more fully. Today the 2011 M. Etain is absolutely singing. That this is a second wine is virtually incomprehensible. (AG)" (11/2013)
Starting Bid: $540.00

Bid on this bottle of 1996 Joseph Phelps "Insignia" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (95RP, 93WS, 92VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Aged 22 months in 100% new French oak, this blend of 83% Cabernet Sauvignon and 17% Merlot reveals a powerful core of red and black fruits, dusty, loamy soil, lavender and a hint of toast. I would not describe it as elegant, but rather, it is a big, backstrapping, Cabernet Sauvignon-based wine that should continue to drink well for 15 or more years. (RP)" (11/2013)
Starting Bid: $145.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2004 Livingston Moffett "Gemstone Vineyard" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend. Situated in the Yountville AVA on the Rector Creek alluvial fan, the Gemstone vineyard contains a diverse selection of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Petite Verdot grapes with numerous clonal selections within these varietals. Each of these grapes are vinified and kept separate for evaluation prior to blending. The wine has primary aromas of blackberry and raspberry with a hint of vanilla, nutmeg and violets. On the palate, there is an effusive fruitiness underlain by raspberry liqueur and cassis.
Starting Bid: $100.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2009 Merus Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (93ST, 93WS, 92RP). Wine Spectator: "Intense and concentrated, with a rich array of dark berry built around currant, blackberry, mineral, cedar and spice. Starting Bid: $165.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2018 Myriad "Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (99JD, 97RP, 94WS, 93VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "This iconic site located outside of St. Helena always produces a rich, powerful wine, and the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard is no exception, offering loads of black and blue fruits, gravelly earth, chocolate, and Asian spice notes as well as a full-bodied, opulent, sexy profile on the palate. With a beautiful sense of freshness, ripe, polished tannins, and a great finish, this gorgeous effort needs 2-3 years of bottle age and will cruise for 30 years or more." (08/2020)
Starting Bid: $280.00
