Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2015 Switchback Ridge "Peterson Family Vineyard'' Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Robert Parker writes: "This tiny producer consistently fashions excellent wines (Bob Foley is the winemaking force behind these efforts)."
Starting Bid: $120.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2008 Cayuse "Camaspelo" Walla Walla Valley Bordeaux Blend (96RP, 95WE, 90ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2008 Camaspelo is made up of 80% Cabernet Franc and 20% Merlot. Fresh herbs and spices, earthy minerals, cassis, and black currant aromas lead to an elegant, stylish Catherine Deneuve of a wine. (JM)" (08/2011)
Starting Bid: $130.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2018 Caymus Vineyards Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. There's no wine like Caymus Cabernet Sauvignon, and the 2018 vintage shows in spades what this brand is all about. Luxurious opulence on an unrivaled scale defines this wine year in and year out. Dark, super-ripe fruit lays over sleek, rich texture with additional complexity coming in form of cola, chinese five spice, mocha, and molasses. Legions of hard-core Caymus fans will not be disappointed by this latest rendition!
Starting Bid: $420.00

Bid on this bottle of 1992 Stag's Leap Wine Cellars "Cask 23" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "All of the other current and up-coming releases are outstanding. The 1992 Cask 23 (as of November 16, there were still magnums and 750 ml. formats available at the winery) boasts a dense, black/ruby/purple color, and a knock-out bouquet of black fruits, smoke, chocolate, and licorice. Like all Cask 23's, it is exceedingly easy to drink, with a voluptuous texture, fabulously rich, expansive, sweet (from extract not sugar) flavors, and silky tannin in the finish. (RP)" (12/1995)
Starting Bid: $205.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2006 Peter Michael "Les Pavots" Knights Valley Bordeaux Blend (96RP, 94ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2006 Les Pavots (a 2, 730-case blend of 77% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Cabernet Franc, and the rest Merlot and Petit Verdot) exhibits big notes of chocolate fudge intermixed with dark berry fruit, forest floor, underbrush, and some smoky oak. The wine is full-bodied, with remarkable intensity, low acidity, and a fleshy, opulent mouthfeel. (RP)" (12/2008)
Starting Bid: $360.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2009 Realm "Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94RP, 94VN, 94WS, 93ST). Vinous: "The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard bursts onto the palate with mocha, spices, dark fruit, new leather, all of which come together seamlessly in the glass. There are plenty of tannins here, but the fruit is so textured they are barely perceptible. The 2009 is 97% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Petit Verdot. (AG)" (12/2011)
Starting Bid: $250.00

Bid on this magnum of 1995 Opus One Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (1.5L) (93RP, 93VN, 92JS). Vinous: "Freshly cut flowers, raspberries, anise and savory herbs jump from the glass in the 1995 Opus One. A beautifully bright, focused wine, the 1995 stands out for its high-toned aromatics and fabulous balance. All the elements are in the right place. This is a distinctly pretty, feminine Opus One that is all about grace. An attractive aromatic lift rounds things out nicely. Stylistically, the 1995 belongs to the wines of similarly high rainfall vintages such as 1986 and 2011. The 1995 is 86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Cabernet Franc, 5% Merlot and 2% Malbec. (AG)" (06/2013)
Starting Bid: $430.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2017 Schrader "Beckstoffer Georges III" Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon (97JD, 96JS, 96RP, 93WS). Jeb Dunnuck: "Yields at Schrader are down a massive 50%, yet what they put in bottle is certainly brilliant. Starting with their 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Georges III Vineyard, it’s one of the plusher, more rounded, sexy wines in the lineup and is loaded with cassis and assorted blue fruits as well as notes of white flowers, violets, and tobacco. Full-bodied, concentrated, and opulent on the palate, it’s one big mouthful of pleasure bent fruit that’s hard to match in the vintage." (01/2020)
Starting Bid: $510.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1994 Sebastiani "Cherryblock - Old Vines" Sonoma Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (90WS). Wine Spectator: "A dark, rich and complex style that captures ripe fruit flavors with a sense of elegance and grace, weaving black cherry, wild berry, anise, currant, spice and cedary notes into a supple and compelling wine. Tannins are well integrated and there's a flash of mineral on the aftertaste. (JL)" (10/1998)
Starting Bid: $80.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2006 Colgin "Cariad" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (98RP, 96JS, 94WS, 93ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "One of the stars of the vintage, this thrilling, opaque purple-colored wine offers up sweet espresso, jus de viande, blackberry, blueberry, flower and chocolate aromas. A fabulous texture, tremendous purity, sensational brightness and authoritative flavor intensity allied to striking complexity and elegance are the signature of this creative blend from the David Abreu vineyards of Thorevilos and Madrona Ranch. Six hundred cases were produced. Give this wine another 3-4 years of cellaring and enjoy it over the following 15+. (RP)" (06/2011)
Starting Bid: $750.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2005 Peter Michael "Les Pavots" Knights Valley Bordeaux Blend (95RP, 93ST, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2005 Les Pavots (3, 600 cases of 63% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Cabernet Franc, 12% Merlot, and the rest Petit Verdot) is a sensational wine, with a style that suggests a hypothetical blend of a great St.-Emilion and Pomerol. Chocolatey cassis notes intermixed with incense, licorice, and a hint of black olive are present in this wine. When it hits the palate, it comes across as very Pomerol-like, with lushness, full body, and opulence. The tannins are sweet, the pH high, and the wine gorgeously full, pure, dense, and long. It’s a terrific example of non-interventionalist winemaking that has turned out a beautiful, silky-textured wine that should age effortlessly for 15+ years. (RP)" (12/2007)
Starting Bid: $375.00

Bid on this bottle of 2018 Maybach "Materium" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (100JD, 98RP). Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2018 Materium comes from the Weitz Vineyard in Oakville and is all Cabernet Sauvignon brought up in mostly new barrels. It's a very different wine than the Amoenus release and has more elegant, seamless aromas and flavors of crème de cassis, black raspberries, tobacco leaf, flowery incense, and sandalwood. Château Margaux-like in its elegance and complexity, this brilliant wine has loads of sweet fruit, flawless integration of its tannins and acidity, flawless balance, and just a heavenly overall profile that I wish every reader could taste. This extraordinary effort can be drunk today or cellared for 30 years or more." (01/2021)
Starting Bid: $225.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2015 Schrader "Beckstoffer Las Piedras - LPV" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98JD, 98RP, 95WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Coming from the Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard, from blocks C and E that are planted to clones 337 and 4, respectively, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard Lpv has a very deep garnet-purple color and nose of crushed black berries, black currant cordial and garrigue with wafts of sage, mocha and cedar chest plus a hint of lavender. Medium to full-bodied, very firm and very tightly knit, the palate reveals great elegance and sophistication, with slowly revealing layers and a lovely minerality coming through on the long finish. (LPB) 98+" (12/2017)
Starting Bid: $540.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2010 Colgin "Cariad" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (100RP, 97VN, 95JS, 95ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Proprietary Red Cariad reveals great intensity along with abundant notes of unsmoked tobacco leaf interwoven with blueberry, blackberry and cassis fruit, charcoal and coffee bean nuances as well as a Pauillac-like lead pencil shaving character. This blend of 48% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Merlot, 10% Petit Verdot and 14% Cabernet Franc is one of the finest wines I tasted over the 12 days I spent tasting in Napa Valley in late August and early September. (RP)" (10/2013)
Starting Bid: $960.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2011 Futo Oakville Bordeaux Blend (97RP, 96VN, 93ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2011 Proprietary Red Estate is a blend of 74% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Cabernet Franc, 9% Petit Verdot and 6% Merlot. It offers sweet blackcurrant and blueberry fruit intermixed with hints of toast and white flowers, beautiful body and a savory personality. (RP)" (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $500.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2018 JCB "No. 1" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97JD, 97RP, 93VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon coming from the west side of St. Helena, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon No. 1 had extended maceration of skins for 44 days and then was aged in French oak, 59% new. Deep garnet-purple colored, it explodes with bombastic blackberry compote, crème de cassis and boysenberries scents, followed by suggestions of cumin seed, cardamom, rosemary roasted lamb and unsmoked cigars plus a hint of pencil lead. Full-bodied, bold and decadently rich in the mouth, it delivers impactful black fruit preserves layers and loads of savory accents, supported by firm yet plush tannins and tons of freshness, finishing on a lingering earthy note. Although it delivers a hedonic experience right now, give it a good 5 years in bottle to get the wow factor and drink it over the next 20+ years. (LPB) 97+" (02/2021)
Starting Bid: $260.00

Bid on this bottle of 1991 Silver Oak "Bonny's Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Bonny's Vineyard was planted by Silver Oak founders Bonny and Justin Meyer in 1974 on a gravelly, four-acre plot in the Oakville district of Napa Valley. It was a much-heralded bottling for Silver Oak over the course of two decades, and the vineyard is now bottled under its own label by the Meyers. A rare addition to any Silver Oak collection.
Starting Bid: $130.00

Bid on this bottle of 2003 Peter Michael "Les Pavots" Knights Valley Bordeaux Blend (95RP, 93ST, 93WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This wine has filled out very nicely. Nearly 3, 000 cases were produced of this flowery, tar, camphor, incense, blackberry, black currant, espresso and chocolate-scented beauty. A blend of 61% Cabernet Sauvignon, a whopping 22% Cabernet Franc and the rest Merlot and Petit Verdot, this full-bodied, opulent 2003 is just entering its plateau of full maturity. It is better at age ten than it was early in life from cask and post-bottling. (RP)" (06/2013)
Starting Bid: $125.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2011 Harlan Estate Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (97DC, 97JS, 94ST, 94VN, 93RP, 93WS). James Suckling: "Fabulous floral aromas of currants, flowers, stones and rosemary stem. Purity. Full body with a fabulous backbone of chewy tannins with a gorgeous austerity. Elegance with power. This needs at least three or four more years." (05/2014)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2005 Larkmead "Solari" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (99RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon Solari is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon named after Larry Polly Solari, who bought Larkmead in 1948. This is great, great wine and certainly one of the undeniable superstars of this vintage. It has impressed me more and more every time I go back to it. Dense purple in color, with a Pauillac first-growth bouquet on steroids, including notes of crème de cassis, graphite, and a touch of oak and flora, the wine is full-bodied and opulent. It has lavish, extravagant levels of concentration as well as an extraordinary elegance and intensity. This is absolutely amazing stuff and is certainly as great as Cabernet Sauvignon can be in Napa Valley. Remarkably, it’s accessible now, but promises to age effortlessly for another quarter of a century. (RP)" (06/2015)
Starting Bid: $300.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2015 Inglenook Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon (95VN, 95WE, 94JS, 92RP, 92WS). Vinous: "A dense, succulent wine, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon captures all the raw power and density of the year. The 2015 is just starting to soften, but ideally it needs another few years in bottle to be at its finest. Readers should expect an especially opulent style, and yet the 2015 has more than enough depth to drink well for another 15+ years or more. (AG)" (09/2018)
Starting Bid: $310.00

Bid on this bottle of 2018 Bevan "Dr. Crane Vineyard" St. Helena Cabernet Sauvignon (100JD, 100RP, 96VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard was aged for 19 months in French oak barrels, 100% new. Deep garnet-purple colored, it sashays out of the glass with flamboyant scents of redcurrant jelly, Black Forest cake, blackcurrant pastilles and rose oil with suggestions of cast-iron pan, pencil lead and tilled soil plus a waft of fragrant earth. Full-bodied, rich and concentrated with firm, exquisitely ripe, fine-grained tannins and seamless freshness, it delivers an incredible mineral and perfumed red fruit firework display finish. Fans of Dr. Crane are going to LOVE this expression, masterfully crafted by Russell Bevan—an absolute must-try! (LPB) " (02/2021)
Starting Bid: $300.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Joseph Phelps "Insignia" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (100RP, 96CG, 96VN, 95JS, 94WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Deep garnet colored with a lingering hint of purple, the 2007 Insignia Proprietary Red Wine reveals the most seductive crème de cassis, Black Forest cake and licorice notions with touches of violets, eucalyptus, chocolate box and unsmoked cigars plus a waft of cedar chest. Full-bodied with tantalizing opulence yet compelling restraint, the palate beautifully juxtaposes the rich, ripe fruit with wonderful freshness and a firm yet plush backbone, finishing beautifully perfumed. (LPB)" (08/2018)
Starting Bid: $550.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2003 Pride Mountain Napa-Sonoma Counties Cabernet Sauvignon (91CG, 90ST, 90W&S). Connoisseurs Guide: "This impressive, generously filled and very solid young wine is at once both powerful and remarkably well-balanced and delivers loads of optimally ripened, curranty fruit juxtaposed with just the right measure of complementary oak. It is quite full on the palate and comes complete with lots of Cabernet tannins, but even as astringency crowds in at the finish, its confident fruit refuses to quit. It is not, nor will ever be the picture of elegance, but its stunning depth and keen varietal precision raise great expectations for a most handsome maturity some eight to ten years hence. " (12/2005)
Starting Bid: $195.48

Bid on this 2-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2017 Venge "Silencieux" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94WE) and 1-bottle of 2018 Austin Hope Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon (95WE). Of the 2018 Austin Hope Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon, Wine Enthusiast writes: "Quite dark in the glass, this reliable crowd-pleaser begins with hearty aromas of black currant, black plum, lush oak and caramel, accented by a hint of olive and loads of clove and nutmeg. The mouthfeel is hearty and rich, with just enough tannic weight to balance the creamy black-cherry, caramel and chocolate-ice-cream flavors, which lead to an oaky finish. (MK)" (12/2020)
Starting Bid: $85.71

Bid on this magnum of 2013 Terlato "Episode" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (1.5L) (92RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Even better is the 2013 Terlato Episode Proprietary Red, which exhibits plenty of licorice, underbrush, forest floor, blue and black fruits, and a lusty, medium to full-bodied, opulent mouthfeel. (RP) 92+" (10/2015)
Starting Bid: $140.00

Bid on this bottle of 1974 Heitz Cellar "Martha's Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, 97JG, 92JD). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "I had this wine twice over a period of thirty days, rating it an astounding 99 and 98 points. A monumental California Cabernet Sauvignon, it appears to have approached its plateau of maturity but should easily last for 20-25 more years. There is no rust, amber, or brown to the saturated dark purple color. The spectacular, huge, Mouton-Rothschild-like nose of mint, cassis, lead pencil, and toast is remarkably youthful. Staggeringly concentrated, this full-bodied, super-rich wine possesses moderate tannin, fresh, lively acidity, and a blockbuster, rich, fleshy finish. This is a monumental effort! (RP)" (08/1994)
Starting Bid: $1,150.00

Bid on this bottle of 2012 O'Shaughnessy Mount Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon (97JD, 97RP, 96VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The fabulous 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Mt. Veeder is another glorious example of mountain Cabernet Sauvignon. Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, its opaque purple color is followed by a meaty, bloody, prime rib-like character intermixed with crème de cassis and floral notes. Deep, full-bodied, opulent and incredibly intense and pure, it is superb example of Cabernet Sauvignon from Mt. Veeder. (RP)" (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $152.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2003 Quilceda Creek Washington Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 97WE, 95ST, 95WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Another wine I’ve had multiple times recently, the 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon (97% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Merlot) is pure perfection in a glass and yields off-the-hook aromatics of cassis, black raspberries, tobacco leaf, pepper and licorice. Deep, layered and even elegant, with a seamless texture that conceals the sheer wealth of material present, it builds through the mid-palate, possesses huge amounts of extract and masses of polished tannin on the finish. Despite the overall size, it never loses its Cabernet Sauvignon soul and has an almost Bordeaux-like savoriness and tannic frame. Still young (yet gorgeous none the less), it can be enjoyed now or cellared for another 10-15+ years. (JD)" (06/2013)
Starting Bid: $360.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2011 Dominus Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (94VN, 94W&S, 93JS, 90ST). Vinous: "Savory herbs, menthol, smoke and licorice are some of the aromas that open up in the glass in the 2011 Dominus. This is a relatively immediate, expressive Dominus with plenty of near-term appeal. The style is open and succulent for the year, with lovely balance and poise. Crushed rose petals and dried herbs linger in the close. With time in the glass, the 2011 fleshes out nicely. In 2011 Dominus is 86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Petit Verdot and 5% Cabernet Franc. (AG)" (11/2013)
Starting Bid: $310.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2003 Joseph Phelps "Backus" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, 92ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon Backus Vineyard, from the red soils of the Oakville Corridor and eastern hillsides overlooking Screaming Eagle and Rudd Estate, is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Blackberry, blueberry, crushed rock and white flower aromas soar from the glass of this stunningly rich, full-bodied wine. One of the most concentrated and potentially long-lived wines of the vintage, it is unquestionably a candidate for wine of the vintage. It is richer and more backward than the Insignia, but stunningly multidimensional, built like a skyscraper, and staggeringly profound. Wow! What an amazing wine. Forget it for another 4-5 years and drink it over the following quarter century. For statisticians, the 2003 Insignia finished with 14.4% alcohol and the Backus, 14.3%. (RP) 98+" (06/2013)
Starting Bid: $490.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2018 JCB "No. 10" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98JD, 96RP, 92VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "Also all Cabernet, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon JCB #10 is slightly deeper purple-hued and offers a more blockbuster styled bouquet of blackcurrants, dark chocolate, scorched earth, and graphite, with full-bodied, richness, beautiful purity, great tannins, and a balanced, layered, age-worthy style. It needs 4-5 years of bottle age and will evolve for 30 years or more." (01/2021)
Starting Bid: $260.00

Bid on this magnum of 1987 Dunn Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (93WS, 91RP, 90ST). Wine Spectator: "Attractive for its deep, rich fruit and spicy aromas, this is very young, intense and complex, with tiers of currant, plum and black cherry flavors and toasty oak notes. Stylish, very complete and firmly tannic on the finish, but it should reward cellaring..." (11/1990)
Starting Bid: $170.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Opus One Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (100DC, 100JS, 97RP, 97VN). James Suckling: "The greatest Opus ever. Terrific aromas of crushed black currants, blueberries and flowers with hints of sweet tobacco. Roses continue to exude opulence and class. Full body, superb balance of ultra-fine tannins and vibrant acidity. Complex aftertaste of black fruits and citrus fruit. Extremely persistent. So approachable now and enjoyable. But will be even better in 2019 and beyond. 79% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Cabernet Franc, 6% Merlot, 6% Petit Verdot, 2% Malbec. This will always be beautiful to drink." (09/2016)
Starting Bid: $901.00

Bid on this bottle of 2014 Realm "Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (99RP, 98JS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "There are 400 cases of the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard, which is 96% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% Petit Verdot. This comes from the backstreets of St. Helena and the site basically looks like a quarry with its extreme gravelly soils. The wine is made from clone 337, which may be my favorite of the Cabernet clones. As I have said before, this is a Mission Haut-Brion on steroids – an incredibly fabulous wine with notes of scorched earth, charcoal embers, blackberry and blueberry fruit, an almost endless mouthfeel with powerful fruit, but elegance as well as purity. A thoroughly flawless and seamless full-bodied wine with 30 years of upside, this is pure perfection. If you have the patience, try to hold off for a couple of years, as this is one of the more structured of the 2014s. (RP)" (12/2016)
Starting Bid: $305.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Colgin "Cariad" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (100JS, 100RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "There are 550-cases of the perfect 2007 Cariad (original rating was 99), a blend of 52% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Merlot and the rest equal parts Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. One of northern California’s watershed vintages for Bordeaux varietals, according to Allison Tauziet, this wine revealed great potential from the day the first grapes were crushed. It possesses a dense purple color, massive fruit, soft but high tannin, and a structural profile somewhat similar to the 2002. There appears to be more underlying minerality in the 2007, but the sweetness of the tannin, the enormous concentration of fruit (blackberry, blueberry, cherry) intermixed with graphite, chocolate, coffee and crushed rock characteristics is striking. (RP)" (06/2011)
Starting Bid: $770.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Hidden Ridge "55% Slope" Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon (97RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon 55% Slope comes from the Sonoma side of the Mayacamas Mountains. It is 100 % Cabernet Sauvignon from a vineyard planted at 1, 700 feet. This is a remarkable wine and reminiscent of the great classics from the golden era of the Mayacamas on the Napa side (such as the 1968, 1970, 1973 and 1974) come to mind when tasting this beauty. It is simply loaded. Dense purple in color, the wine has notes of licorice, crème de cassis, Asian plum sauce, cedar wood and earth. Full-bodied, opulent and irresistible already, it is capable (because of the impeccable balance and purity) of aging 20-25 or more years. This is a modern-day classic that could compete with very finest Cabernet-based wines in the world. (RP) 97+" (03/2016)
Starting Bid: $180.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Schrader "Beckstoffer Las Piedras - LPV" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 98DC, 98JD). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard Lpv is very deeppurple-black in color with an incredibly perfumed nose of potpourri, lavender and red roses with hints of oolong tea, cigar boxes and fragrant earth over a black cherry, blackberry and warm plums core. Full-bodied, firm and with wonderfully ripe, grainy tannins, it delivers mouth-filling black fruits and an epically long, wonderfully fragrant finish. (LPB)" (10/2018)
Starting Bid: $720.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Dunn Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (98JS, 98VN, 97DC, 96RP). Vinous: "The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain is a towering majestic wine. Rich, powerful and yet massively tannic, the 2013 possesses a stunning combination of super-ripe fruit, bright acids and plenty of supporting structure. In the early going, the Howell Mountain is a bit reticent, especially next to the Trailer, but after several hours, the vibrancy of the Howell Mountain bottling dazzles. Dunn's Howell Mountain Cabernet is without question one of the wines of the great 2013 vintage. Randy and Mike Dunn's 2013s are off the charts. (AG) 98+" (12/2016)
Starting Bid: $300.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2002 Diamond Creek "Red Rock Terrace" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97WE, 96RP, 96W&S, 92CG). Wine Enthusiast: "The most complete and compelling of Diamond Creek’s trio of ’02s, combining the opulent accessibility of Gravelly Meadow with the power and authority of Volcanic Hill. The aromas of cassis, red currants, cedar, tobacco and cigar box lead to massively packed Cabernet flavors wrapped in huge, dusty tannins. The wine is so balanced, so distinguished and complete. Decant now if you must drink it, but it should start to mellow by 2008, and then peak and hold through 2015 at least. *Cellar Selection* " (08/2006)
Starting Bid: $313.03

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Opus One Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (97DC, 95RP, 94WS). Decanter: "A powerful wine, full of black chocolate, cocoa powder and olive paste, layers of tightly packed flavour, many consider this to be the best of the decade and it is certainly extremely powerful. Dense, smoked bacon and chocolate flavours, needs to be paired with some equally rich food, and needs to be relaxed into - definitely a wine where you need to kick your shoes off, not make any appointments for the rest of the night, and take your time. A long life ahead of it also, if you choose to wait - this would benefit from longer in bottle. (JA)" (09/2019)
Starting Bid: $639.00

Bid on this magnum of 1991 Opus One Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (1.5L) (96DC, 92RP, 92VN). Decanter: "The first year in their own winery, with a winemaking team that still had input from both Bordeaux and Napa, with Patrick Léon and Tim Mondavi. The richness is immediately apparent, and straight away this feels like they were marking the beginning of a new era. There is a powerful core of black fruits, and this is a great wine that is still full of life. 33 days skin contact. This was a cool and slow growing season, with a large crop and late harvest. It was the first express-built gravity flow winery in Napa, and at €27 million controversially expensive at the time. (JA)" (09/2019)
Starting Bid: $600.00

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard is made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Deep garnet-purple in color, it comes bounding out of the glass with baked black plums, blackberry pie and ripe blackcurrants notes plus hints of rose hip tea, cedar, unsmoked cigars and tilled soil. The full-bodied palate is jam-packed with taut, muscular black fruits, featuring a solid frame of grainy tannins and bags of freshness, finishing on a lingering exotic spice note. (LPB)" (11/2020)

Bid on this magnum of 1988 Opus One Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (1.5L) (94DC, 92VN, 91RP). Decanter: "This wine stands out in the line-up, with spicy black olive and rosemary notes, great concentration of fruit and an expansive feel through the mid-palate. Low yields from a growing season that was not easy, and interestingly here the alcohol has tipped over 13% and we don't see it under that level again. Firm tannins that are still very much holding court, and this has plenty of life ahead. 28 days skin contact. (JA)" (09/2019)

Bid on this bottle of 1992 Spottswoode Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (99RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The year 1992 was the second most abundant year for Spottswoode, producing 5, 713 cases, with the final blend 6% Cabernet Franc and the rest Cabernet Sauvignon. This was a classic Napa vintage with abundant fruit and high yields. Spottswoode made a magnificent example. With a dark ruby/purple/garnet-colored wine to the rim, this wine is stunningly rich, with floral-infused blackcurrant and blackberry fruit, a hint of chocolate and toast. Terrific aromatics are followed by an equally impressive full-bodied wine, with stunningly sweet, velvety tannins, enormous fruit and stature, and a long, long finish. This is brilliant and still somewhat of a late adolescent... (RP)" (08/2016)
