This is the 2019 blend. This wine is produced by the owner of Clos des Papes, Vincent Avril. It is sourced from vines near the Rhone River and is a bistro-style red that is a kitchen sink blend of Grenache, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Mourvedre, Carignan and Cinsault. It is aged 1/3 in barrel and is a blend of 2/3 current vintage (2019) and 1/3 the previous vintage which is why this is a non-vintage wine. A wonderful, fun and easy-drinking red this is a great value and definitely displays the Clos des Papes lineage.
