A combination of column and pot distillates Bounty Dark Rum packs a little more punch than it's golden brother. It's still an inexpensive option for all of your cocktailing needs, but it's a touch higher in proof and more robust. It also sees an extra few years of aging. The rum spends 3-5 years in cask before bottling.

For the first time, they are offering single barrels of this special rum. This spectacular rum is from the tiny Denominacion de Origen of Charanda in Michoacan, Mexico. It is a 50/50 blend of molasses distilled on a column still and fresh cane juice on a copper pot still. The cane is all estate grown around 1500 meters above sea level in the red-colored volcanic soils of Uruapan, the village most associated with Charanda rums. Aged entirely in ex-Bourbon and ex-Scotch whisky casks, the result is a woodier and less sweet style in a style and at a price that should please serious fans of the genre.
