Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2010 Agricola Punica "Barrua" Isola dei Nuraghi (93VN, 92JS, 91WS). Vinous: "Good full red-ruby. Ripe, smoky red cherry, field herbs, dry spices and a touch of chocolatey reduction on the brooding, complex nose. Serious, structured and quite suave; weighty and powerful, with flavors of medicinal red cherry, thyme, sweet pipe tobacco and minerals. The very long finish displays enticing sweetness. This rich yet taut and linear wine is enjoyable today but will be at its best with another six or seven years of bottle aging. Aged for 18 months in small French oak (30% new). One of the best Barrua wines in years. (ID)" (03/2014)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this 5-half-bottle lot of 1983 Dow's Vintage Port (375ml) (90RP). Wine Advocate: This is an extraordinary house that seems to have been particularly successful with its vintage port since 1977.The 1983 is rich, concentrated, very fruity, and magnificently perfumed, suggesting that it is going to mature early, long before the 1977. (RP, Buying Guide) (01/1989)

Bid on this 4-bottle tasting lot; including 2-bottles of 2014 Chateau Simone Palette Rouge and 2-bottles of 2015 Château Simone Palette Rouge. Of the 2014 Chateau Simone Palette Rouge, Jancis Robinson writes: "Baked cherry pie, liquorice and aniseed, light tannin and balanced acidity. Perhaps slightly closed and tight, with a faint black olive note. Almost certainly has more to offer in future. (RH)" (06/2018)
Starting Bid: $170.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2019 Ultramarine "Hirsch Vineyard" Rosé Sonoma Coast Sparkling Wine (96RP). Wine Advocate: "Pale onion skin in color, the 2016 Rosé Heintz Vineyard opens with touches of flint and toast and is beginning to show some tertiary notes of mushroom powder and iodine. Its aromatic reticence gives way to a surprisingly powerful palate that explodes with generous flavors! Medium-bodied, luxuriously creamy and dry, it offers powerful, ripe fruit and alluring savory accents. It's carried along by energetic acidity and has a long finish packed with layers of flinty fruit. It's a wonderfully complex sparkling with the potential to develop gracefully in bottle over the next decade. (EB)" (07/2023)
Current Bid: $190.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2017 Next Of Kyn (Sine Qua Non) "Cumulus Vineyard #11" Central Coast Red Blend (100JD, 97RP, 97VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "Pure perfection, the 2017 No 11 comes all from the estate Cumulus Vineyard around the estate in Oak View and is 48% Syrah, 24.8% Grenache, 12.7% Mourvèdre, 10.6% Petite Sirah, and the balance a mix of white varieties including Petit Manseng and Roussanne. Fermented with 23% whole clusters and aged 32 months in 68% new French oak, this incredible 2017 boasts a saturated purple hue to go with full-bodied aromas and flavors of ripe blackberries, bouquet garni, ground pepper, white chocolate, and cured meats. Incredibly complex, flawlessly balanced, and with a seamless texture that needs to be tasted to be believed, this is a magical blend from California that can be drunk today with incredible pleasure or cellared for 15-20 years. Hats off to the Krankl family for another truly special wine!" (08/2020)

Bid on this bottle of 1990 Castello dei Rampolla "Sammarco" Toscana (97VN). Vinous: "One of the many highlights in this vertical, the 1990 Sammarco has it all. Sweet, sensual and layered in the glass, with exceptional balance, the 1990 presents a compelling mélange of intense aromatics, silky fruit and phenomenal length. Now a mid-weight wine, the 1990 nevertheless has enough depth to drink well for another decade, perhaps beyond. (AG)" (10/2015)
Current Bid: $120.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Taylor Fladgate Vintage Port (100JS, 98WE, 98WS, 97VN, 96DC, 96RP). James Suckling: "OMG. This is really the most amazing young Taylor's I have ever tasted. Full-bodied and lightly sweet with super power and intensity. So racy and focused. Yet this has such muscle and intensity. Needs at least eight years to show you everything it has to offer." (05/2018)
Current Bid: $180.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1977 Dow's Vintage Port (97JS, 93RP, 92WS). James Suckling: "This is really glorious and refined, offering a polished and creamy texture. Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2016 Fonseca Vintage Port (OWC - 98JS, 97DC, 97RP, 97WE, 97WS, 96VN) in original wood. Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1970 Taylor Vintage Port (99WE, 98RP, 98VN, 98WS, 94JG). Wine Enthusiast: "This wine's dark garnet color with minimal bricking suggests a relatively youthful wine and this certainly could age longer, although it's also delicious now. Wonderfully complex floral and herbal scents easily move into deep, rich flavors of chocolate and cherries, sprinkled with a healthy dose of Douro minerality and spice. Drink or hold. (JC)" (02/2007)
Current Bid: $525.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Buccella "Mixed Blacks" Amador County Red Blend. Bill and Alicia Deem founded Buccella in 2002 and their "Mixed Blacks" blend is a departure from the Napa Valley Cab focus of the winery to express their love of Rhone Valley blends. According to the winery, "We wanted to experiment with some completely different varietals by putting our California twist on the beautiful interplay between the bright fruit and mineral characteristics of these blends while still maintaining the rich, fruit focused, layered lusciousness we enjoy. We are fortunate to be working with fruit from the exceptional Shake Ridge Vineyard in Amador County. It is a fantastically well-managed site with a diverse soil composition, producing a wine with an incredible flavor profile and depth."
Starting Bid: $195.00

Bid on this bottle of 1927 d`Oliveiras Bastardo Reserva Madeira. Jancis Robinson: "Very dense, chestnut colour, yellow rim. Rich, sweet, slightly powdery nose. Very rancio. You can still somehow taste the wood. Sweet, almost syrupy, start. Then cheesy. Elements rather separate. Residual sweetness and then acidity and then tannin. 18/20 points (JR)" (10/2006)
Starting Bid: $725.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1977 Smith Woodhouse Vintage Port (96WS). Wine Spectator: "Great dark color. Intense aromas of blackberry, stem and earth. Very powerful and youthful nose. Full-bodied and medium-sweet, with lots of milk chocolate, spice and berry character. Layered and balanced. So enjoyable. But just a baby. I remember this 10 years ago. It is really fantastic. Underrated by many, including me. (JS)" (02/2008)
Current Bid: $190.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 1997 Dow's Vintage Port (95WS, 94WE, 92ST). Wine Spectator: "Warm and inviting, with a worn leather feel to the mix of dried anise, espresso, bittersweet cocoa, steeped fig and mulled currant notes, which move seamlessly together through the buckwheat-edged finish. There's plenty here to like now, but this has ample energy for additional development. *Top 100 Wine of 2000* (JM, Web-2017)"
Starting Bid: $270.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1985 Fonseca Vintage Port (93RP, 93WS, 91DC). Wine Advocate: "The 1985 Fonseca is still youthful in appearance with hardly any ageing on the rim. The nose offers kirsch, sloes and Christmas cake. With time, there are subtle notes of dried fig and dates beginning to emerge and add to the complexity. The palate is medium-bodied and beautifully balanced on the supple, rounded entry. It is not quite as complex as the aromatics, with dates and dried fig, the finish mellow and refined. It is very elegant for a Fonseca, weighty but supremely well focused. This is a fabulous Fonseca that is ready to drink now, but will age for another 30 or 40 years. (NM)" (02/2013)

Bid on this bottle of 2021 Domaine Jacques Carillon Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru "Champs-Canet".
Current Bid: $115.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1977 Taylor Vintage Port (98VN, 97WS, 96RP, 95WE, 93JG). Vinous: "The 1977 Taylor's Vintage Port is initially tight and conservative on the nose: strawberry, baked cherry, tobacco and wild hedgerow notes emerging but remaining tight-lipped. This needs a good decant! The palate is endowed with depth and concentration, very well balanced with an attractive crispness. Perhaps you could argue that it is a 'linear' and more 'correct' Taylor's compared to the 1970 and lacks some charm. But there is immense complexity here so it is more a case of a Port demanding a very long maturation in bottle. (NM)" (06/2018)
Current Bid: $195.00

Bid on this bottle of 1952 Niepoort Colheita Port in original wood. Jancis Robinson: "Decanted 1974. Pale rose tawny. Firm and lively with a dry finish. Not the purest and most complete and mellifluous but certainly fun. (JR) 17.5/20 points" (09/2013)
Current Bid: $260.00

Bid on this bottle of 1935 Taylor Fladgate "Director's Special Reserve - Richard Saybel selection" Port. "Taylor makes incredible vintage Ports. They are so long-lived, with intense richness and concentration but a racy, polished refinement that no other Port can match. I found the earlier Ports a little sweeter than the newer ones, but Taylor continues to make their vintage Ports from the best grapes in their vineyards (primarily Quinta de Vargellas, but also Quintas Terra Feita and Junco in recent years.) So there is a long line of tradition and pedigree in the wines." James Suckling, Wine Spectator, 11/2007
Starting Bid: $915.00

Bid on this bottle of 1985 Dow's Vintage Port (93JS, 93VN). Vinous: "The 1985 Dow’s Vintage Port has a gorgeous, very pure bouquet with mulberry, leather, terracotta tiles on a warm day, and hints of clove all beautifully defined. The palate is very well balanced with supple tannin, lightly spiced on the entry, touches of liquorice and black pepper, curry powder and ginger with a very harmonious and long finish. This may well be the pick of the 1985 declarations and appears to have edged past the Taylor Fladgate 1985 in recent years. (NM)" (06/2018)
Current Bid: $120.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1994 Fonseca Vintage Port (100WS, 98DC, 97RP). Wine Spectator: "Hold on to your hat. This is the best Fonseca since 1977, and it's probably even better than that classic vintage--more like the breathtaking 1948. Mind-blowing, with masses of color, aroma and fruit flavor. Smells like fermenting berries, boasting loads of crushed grape, violet and berry character. Big, full-bodied and very sweet, with tons of tannins and a sweet finish. Tannic and huge, it's a long-term, great Port. *No. 1 Top 100 Wines of 1997, Cellar Selection* (JS)" (04/1997)
Current Bid: $339.00

Bid on this bottle of 1996 Quinta do Noval "Nacional" Vintage Port (96WS, 94ST, 93JG). Wine Spectator: "Very dry in style, with a grippy alder spine carrying bitter plum, black currant and juniper notes. Shows some wild herb and violet notes as well, gaining intensity and grip through the finish. Tightly focused and very distinctive. (JM, Web-2018)"
