95 points James Halliday: "Blended from wines aged for a decade or more in oak (up to 15 years). Fabulous concentration here, as per the house style, while also establishing real elegance and spirit freshness. It's a fine balance to achieve and it's quite effortless in nougat, orange peel, raisin freshness with dark chocolate and creamy caramels. Long, unwavering finish. *Gold* (JP) " (08/2022)

94 points Vinous: "The 2012 Vin Santo is compelling, as it so often is. Caramel, honey, brown sugar and kirsch are some of the many notes that build effortlessly. In 2012, the Vin Santo is not quite as opulent as it can be, but that is probably a good thing in this case. (AG) " (06/2023)

95 points James Suckling: " To anyone who knows British Christmas pudding, the dense flavors of dried fruit, burnt sugar and spices will be nothing new. Dominating the Rhône Valley from the foothills of the Mont Ventoux, Domaine Durban enjoys stunning views of the area. The wines are special too. Muscat de Beaumes de Venise is undoubtedly the best of all the Muscat wines made in Southern France, and Durban is considered the best estate. The wines are a pure delight with the distinctive Muscat flavors of flowers, tropical fruit and honey. The perfect dessert wine but also delicious with foie gras, melon and Roquefort cheese.

94 points Vinous: "The NV Palo Cortado N7 is 100% Pedro Ximénez sourced from Montilla-Moriles. Aged for 20 years in soleras with casks over 50 years old, this mahogany-colored wine features complex aromas of dried fruits, saffron, licorice and caramel, with a faint Manzanilla-like note. Dry and rich, the umami-filled palate delivers oak and saffron flavors with a very long, tarry finish. This wine is a flavorful oddity, reminiscent of what Montilla-Moriles offered in the past.
