97 points Decanter: "Pure and precise with a fine bead and great balance. Classic Chenin pear and apple aromatics with a streak of lemon. Vibrantly textured with a lemony freshness and a hint of toast on the finish. (DWWA 2022)" (06/2022) K&L Notes: Maison Laudacius is an association of farmers working in the small region of Montlouis-sur-Loire. Founded in 1961 it is made up of 18 of these growers, all farming sustainably across the three villages that make up the Montlouis appellation. 95 points James Halliday: "80/20% Awatere/Wairau Valley fruit; 10% goes into oak for ferment. Blackberry leaf, Thai basil and yellow guava. Blueberry flesh, fennel and chalk. The palate is weighted with ripe passionfruit, nectarine and honeysuckle. This is ripe and rich. It's densely packed and acidity trots in line, enabling a long, slippery finish. A hint of celery salt and raw cashew on the finish with a smattering of lacey skin texture. Lots of value here, for the price tag, and a memorable wine." (09/2024) 94 points Sam Kim: "Pristine and brightly...

93 points Wine Enthusiast: "Violet-red to the eye, this wine has a bouquet of cassis, saddle leather and clove. It feels good in the mouth, offering flavors of blackberry, strawberry, chocolate-covered coffee bean and vanilla. Satin tannins dissolve into a soft rose-petal finish. (MD)" (07/2022) 93 points Wine Spectator: "Sweet oak, vanilla, cherry and bitter almond flavors converge in this muscular, balanced red. The oak still needs time to integrate, with ample fruit to offset it. The finish is long and compact. Tempranillo and Graciano. Best from 20...

Domaine Cherrier was founded in 1930. Since then four generations of the family have run the estate. The domaine has limestone and calcareous clay soils that wonderfully influence the character of the grapes grown there. The Sancerre is consistently delicious, with citrus, chalky minerality and light floral notes. Its dry finish complements seafood and cheese beautifully. K&L French Regional buyer Keith Mabry says: "The Cherrier to me is always one of the biggest crowd-pleasing Sancerres/Sauvignon Blancs from anywhere in the world."

90-92 points Jasper Morris: "Four plots making around 3ha. 80% in stainless steel and 20% in oak, sample prepared, actual blend will be before the harvest. A delightful very pale lime green. There is a little flesh apparent even on the nose from the age of the vines. Excellent tension behind, a searing chiselled white fruit, for once the old vine aspect really adds something rather than just making more concentrated. " (09/2023) K&L Notes: Bill Nanson Burgundy Report: "Vines older than 55 years, provenance of those grapes the same as for the last wine....

An element of singed orange peel adds to the depth, while radish spice brings c...

This wine was made by Eric Fournier of Chateau Canon fame. A nice combination of New World elements (rich currant and blackberry fruit and nice ripeness) along with balancing elements of cigar box and pepper. Moderate amounts of tannin, and a very low price, make it a great introduction to the wines of Bordeaux.

92 points James Suckling: "Subtle creamy oak to the ripe blue and black berries. Plush, integrated oak here that extends onto the medium-bodied palate with plenty of chocolate to the juicy berries. Tight, grippy and long. " (06/2023) 92 points Tim Atkin: "Jardín only uses grapes from the Hernáiz brothers' estate in Baños de Rioja and is a cuvée of Tempranillo and 10% Garnacha. Matured in a combination of American and 30% French oak, it's a subtle, graceful, refreshing blend with lots of sappy red berry fruit and granular tannins. 2024-29" (02/2024) 9...

Sexy stuff from the first whiff with its aromas of stone fruits, acacia honey and grilled nuts. Glides effortlessly across the silken-textured palate. You know it will age well, but this is an Oakridge chardonnay that you won't need to wait too long to enjoy. *Gold*" (02/2024) 96 points James Suckling: "From the oldest vineyard at this address, planted in ...

" (10/2023) 91 points James Suckling: "he big black fruit has excellent youthful freshness and the tannins are enough to give this full-bodied Rhone red a very clear line, but are not in the least dominant. Wine Advocate: "The pale pink NV Brut Rosé Crémant d'Alsace Charles Baur is based on Pinot Noir from Eguisheim from 2019 and spent 18 months on lees. A gentle yeastiness with red apple flavors is countered by vivid freshness. Fine red apple fruit also characterizes the palate which is bright and light and slender but has pristine flavors and a lovely length. The appellation of Picpoul de Pinet covers about 3,000 acres just off the coast of the Mediterranean. It is famous for two things: oysters and this wine of origin, Picpoul.
