Jean Lallement Brut Champagne (Previously 50) (Previously 50)
Back In Stock!
91 points Wine & Spirits: "This is a meaty pinot noir–based Champagne. A tingle of white-raspberry acidity frames the wine’s richness, along with dark spice tones of cardamom and cumin that place it with the ginger-and-pork depths of a finely crafted ramen broth." (12/2020) 91 points Wine Spectator: "Rich and juicy flavors of crushed blackberry and cherry fruit, whole grain toast and Mandarin orange peel are framed by a firm acidity in this balanced Champagne, with a chalky underpinning. Features a zesty finish, with notes of grated ginger, anise and g...

A particularly rare California sparkling wine produced by Don Baumhefner who had been inspired by late disgorged Bollinger to let his wines rest "en tirage" for years. The San Francisco Chronicle's Esther Mobley fell in love with Baumhefner's 1992 and was excited to report in December 2017 that he had released another wine he discovered in Lake County that had come from a vineyard in Carneros. Lanson "Green Label" Brut Champagne (Previously $55) (Previously $55)
Back In Stock!
92 points John Gilman: "The new Lanson 'Green Label' non-vintage Brut is the first wine from this fine Champagne house made entirely from organically-farmed grapes certified by Eco-Cert. This is an important and very laudable step from Lanson and I was very happy to find the wine absolutely superb. The wine hails from eight hectares of vines that Lanson bought from LeClerc-Briant when the proprietor of this house passed away in 2010, and which had been farmed biodynamically for several years prior to the sale. The cépages here is a bit different from the...

Michael Pierce and the gang from OsCo, a new distillery on 25th Street near Telegraph in Oakland, are making some of the most interesting new gins and white spirits we've tasted in years. OsCo is part of a winery called Two Mile Wines, so all of the spirits are grape-based. This is an explosive, junipery London dry gin.

A very impressive new sparkling wine project in Orgeon who's wines absolutely stunned me with their quality and depth. Corollary make small amounts of wine but are clearly very good at what they do. These are up there with some of the very best domestic sparkling wines I have tasted and will give plenty of high-end Champagnes a run for their money too! Cheers! (Ryan Woodhouse - Domestic Wine Buyer, K&L Wines) Winery Notes: "Cuvée One brings together multiple soil types, grape varieties, and climates to create a multi-layered, nuanced wine. This classic ...
