93 points James Suckling: "Aromas of candied ginger, baked pear and fresh herbs. Full-bodied with a lovely, oily texture. Layered flavors of chamomile and lavender at the beginning, but turns toward fresh cream and then the note of candied ginger on the nose returns. Linear and balanced. Drink now." (02/2022)

90 points John Gilman: "The 2022 Rosé of Pinot Noir “Wiley Vineyard” bottling from Bravium Wines is pale salmon in color and delivers an impressively bright bouquet of strawberries, watermelon, salty soil tones, white flowers and a topnote of gently savory elements. On the palate the wine is bright, juicy and full-bodied, with a nice touch of vinosity, zesty acids and lovely focus and grip on the impressively long and complex finish. This is really a fine bottle of Rosé that would be a perfect stand in to accompany a red wine dish in warmer weather. " (0...

The once prominent highball cocktail served throughout the Far East and India was the Gunner. A mix of ginger, lemon and a dash of bitters. This iconic drink defined an era. This very dry Ginger Ale was developed with respect for that tradition. Made with the natural ginger root and low cane sugar content, the natural freshness and spice shine through. This is an extraordinary expression of ginger ale, is of course ideal for a Gunner or any Buck, but equally so for a little Pimms cup. 10.5 grams of natural sugar per serving (28 calories), gluten free.

90 points James Suckling: "This generous, quite traditional style Valreas marries a self-confidently dry and dusty personality to red fruits and just a hint of leather. Good structure at the long, warm finish. A cuvee of grenache and syrah from vineyards at 400 meters above sea level. (SP)" (05/2023) Jeb Dunnuck: "A pretty, perfumed, elegant, and medium-bodied red, the 2020 Côtes du Rhône Villages Valréas Tendresse D'Un Climat has lots of red fruits, dried Provençal herbs, and peppery notes, supple tannins, and a good finish. It's already drinking nic...

90 points Wine Enthusiast: "This robust Muscadet Sèvre et Maine Sur Lie beautifully benefits from lees aging. Pale lemon in color, it has a nose of red apple, crushed stone, white peach and orange zest. The wine has good palate-cleansing acidity, basks in green fruit and completes with a long finish. (RS)" (12/2023) K&L Notes: The Bedouet family's history in the region dates back to the 1890s, when the estate was created by Henri Bedouet. His grandson, Michel, took possession and expanded the holdings when he assumed the reins in 1990. In 2010, he bega...

Production Notes: Chenille is made by co-fermenting our "simple saison" base beer with fresh apple cider must. The resulting beer is super dry, with a light body and fruity notes. We have been releasing a lot of fruited versions of this beer as well, as we've learned that it takes on fruit character exceptionally well, but the unfruited version is what we've been wanting to drink all the time lately.

Monica Larner writes: "Casa d'Ambra is the leading wine producer on the tiny island of Ischia. Wines from this volcanic island offer a fascinating mineral character that comes from the soils and also from the breezy marine character of the island environment. The east side of the island has black soils made from crushed lava stone, and the west side has greenish tuff rock. This is unique geology, and its color comes from contact with sea water. The west side of the island has very compact soils, and the southern side is characterized by volcanic fumarole...

The Verquière estate has been passed down from father to son for many generations and is now managed by Thibaut Chamfort. Following age-old traditions and sustainable practices, the estate was recently certified organic. The Côtes-du-Rhône Villages Sablet is a blend of 60% Grenache, 20% Syrah, 15% Mourvedre, and 5% Cinsault grown on three different terroirs. The first being the chalky clay soils with loads of large pebbles from the lower part of the appellation, limestone and marl from the highest part, and classic sandy soils of Sablet right around the...

Fever Tree makes all-natural, premium mixers--most famously tonic waters and this ginger ale--that have taken the cocktail world by storm. The New York Times called them, "A mixer to take seriously," and their products definitely enhance the drinks they go into. The ginger ale is my personal favorite, brimming with the spicy quality of the famous root. Mix with gin and a squeeze of lime for a "Mother's Little Helper," my cocktail of choice these days. 92 points James Suckling: "Stacks of spice, dried Mediterranean herbs and a touch of leather on the nose. Bold, structured and lively, this is an impressive wine for the humble appellation. Long harmonious finish with good complexity. A cuvee of grenache, syrah and carignan from vines that are over 50-years-old. Drink or hold." (05/2023) Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2021 Côtes Du Rhône looks to be well worth your time. Based on 50% Grenache and 25% each Syrah and Carignan, it has a darker, black, almost blue-fruited profile as well as pretty notes of violets and ...

Coralie Onde is from the winemaking family behind Domaine les Ondines, but opted to start her own project independent of her family estate in 2008. She formed Domaine de la Ganse in Vacqueyras when she purchased some terrific old vine fruit, also taking a small holding when the family estate was split. With close to nine hectares now, Coralie began the organic certification process and was officially certified in 2014. Her vines are aged from fifteen to fifty-five years and the soils are primarily chalky-clay with some galet (river stones).

91 points Vinous: "The 2021 The Dancing Fig (an unusual blend of Mourvèdre, Grenache and Shiraz) displays excellent value. It delivers a good volume of fruit with focused blackberry, leather and fruit pastille aromas. Mourvèdre adds hearty tannins to the package, which underpin a meaty, well-formed and compact palate. A savory ironstone edge adds delicious detail over a lengthy finish. While delicious now, it also feels like a sleeper that will surprise over the next decade."
