97 points Tim Atkin: "The Drouhin's Musigny is easy to spot in the vineyard because it is planted in an "S" configuration. Nicolas says this was because it was easier for the horses to work on the steep slopes back in the day, but he plans on keeping it like this. And hopefully nothing else in this cuvée changes as the intensity is majestic. Mulberry, cherry, dried flower bouquet and haunting spice send chills down the spine. The acidity tingles and the precise tannins are well behaved through the long, earthy and smoky finish. Every aspect of the wine i...

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2019 Pierre Girardin Vosne-Romanée. William Kelly in Wine Advocate: "Few emerging Côte de Beaune winemakers are making more of a stir than 21-year-old Pierre Vincent Girardin. This was my first visit to his well-appointed winery and cellar in Meursault, where evidently no expense has been spared on the latest presses, fermentation tanks and larger-format barrels from Tonnellerie François Frères—all housed in a glistening modern winery. Working with some 4.5 hectares of domaine vineyards that are supplemented by an extensive array of négociant purchases, Girardin has hit the ground running with an impressively wide portfolio that includes iconic appellations such as even Montrachet and Chambertin, and he has equally rapidly found eager international representation with top importers." Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2015 Albert Bichot (Domaine du Clos Frantin) Chambertin (92VN). Vinous: "The 2015 Chambertin Grand Cru seems to display some stem addition on the nose, but it is in sync with the scents of cranberry leaf and wild strawberry, though I would have expected a little more ripeness. The medium-bodied palate offers succulent tannin, crisp acidity and fine depth and freshness, but the finish is very compact and is not as fluid as some of its peers. This is difficult to read and will certainly require several years in bottle. (NM)" (09/2018)

Bid on this 12-bottle lot of 2020 Domaine Forey Père & Fils Morey St. Denis. Burghound: "An even more floral-suffused nose offers up its blend of spice, poached plum and earth. The more energetic and notably more refined medium-bodied flavors that exude a refreshing salinity on the sneaky long finale. This moderately structured Morey villages is really quite good and worth a look. *Outstanding*" (01/2023)

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2013 Domaine Joseph Roty Marsannay "Clos de Jeu" ((91-93RP), 92JG, 91BH). Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Marsanny Clos de Jeu, which comes from vines pruned simple Guyot, has a more serious and introspective bouquet compared to the Boivin. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, a fine line of acidity, real density here, and the texture of a Vosne-Romanée toward the harmonious finish. I hope that it will maintain this level of quality once in bottle. This must constitute the finest Marsannay of 2013, surely? (NM)" (12/2014)
