Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 1996 La Dominique, St-Emilion. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "This smoky, lavishly-oaked wine reveals an impressive dark ruby/purple color. The nose offers up plenty of pain grille along with black cherries, raspberries, and dried herbs and smoke. The wine provides sweet fruit on the attack, low acidity, medium body, and a nicely-textured finish with fat/glycerin in evidence. Prior to bottling, I noted some astringency and awkward tannin, but neither were noticeable on the three separate occasions I had the wine out of bottle. (RP)" (04/1999)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2017 Volpaia "Balifico" Super Tuscan (94JS). James Suckling: "A polished red with plum, chocolate and walnut aromas and flavors. Medium-bodied with soft, integrated tannins and a pretty finish. Another year or two will give it a little more finesse. From organically grown grapes. " (06/2020)

Bid on this bottle of 1955 Fonseca Vintage Port (96WS). Wine Spectator: "A big wine with tons of rich, luscious fruit. Deep ruby color, with a very ripe, perfumed nose, full-bodied, with great depth of silky berry flavors and a very long finish. (JS, Web-1989)"
Starting Bid: $370.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2005 Taittinger "Comtes de Champagne" Brut Rosé Champagne (95JG, 94CG, 93ST, 93VN, 93W&S, 93WS, 92RP). John Gilman: "The 2005 Comtes de Champagne Brut Rosé from Champagne Taittinger is a blend of seventy percent pinot noir and thirty percent chardonnay, with fifteen percent of the pinot being red still wine from Bouzy fruit. All of the fruit for this bottling hails from grand cru villages and is first-press. The wine offers up a deep and utterly superb aromatic constellation of strawberries, blood orange, rye toast, complex, chalky soil tones, plenty of smokiness, a touch of orange zest and lovely spice tones in the upper register, with notes of cumin and clove predominant. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied and seamlessly balanced, with a great core, superb complexity, bright acids, superb mousse and great length and grip on the crisp and nascently complex finish. " (07/2015)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1963 Niepoort Colheita Port (91WS). Wine Spectator: "Thick, rich, complex flavors of honey, molasses and citrus. Full in body, very sweet, long, crisp finish. Extremely well balanced. (JS)" (01/1996)
Starting Bid: $375.00

Bid on this bottle of 2017 Saxum "James Berry Vineyard - Rocket Block" Paso Robles Rhône Blend ((97-98VN), 96JD, 94RP). Vinous: "Shimmering violet color. A complex, explosively perfumed bouquet evokes ripe, spice-accented red and blue fruits, incense and floral oils, which are enlivened by a vibrant mineral quality that builds as the wine opens up. Sweet, seamless and energetic on the palate, offering densely packed black raspberry, boysenberry, candied lavender and spicecake flavors that show outstanding clarity and building power. The mineral and floral components drive an extremely long, sappy finish that's given shape by smooth, deftly woven tannins. (JR)" (02/2020)
