Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Barnett "MMV" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon.
Starting Bid: $180.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2009 Domaine Louis Jadot Beaune 1er Cru "150th Anniversary Cuvée" (94RP, 94VN, 91BH). Vinous: "The 2009 Beaune 1er Cru 150th Anniversary is every bit as magical as it has always been. There is a translucence to the fruit that is just remarkable. That is the good news. The not so good news is that the 2009 remains very tightly wound and in need of further cellaring. The aromatics are just starting to open up, but the tannins remain quite fierce. Readers who own the 2009 should be prepared to cellar it for at least a few years. There is an effortlessness to the 2009 that is hard to describe, but that gives the wine its sense of impeccable balance. Hints of sweet pipe tobacco, cedar, dried herbs and cherry add the closing shades of aromatic nuance to this gorgeous, compelling Beaune from Jadot. The 2009 is a blend of 17 different sites. Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2016 Sine Qua Non "Pajarito del Amor - Eleven Confessions Vineyard" Sta. Rita Hills Grenache (100JD, 100RP, 98VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Composed of 85.4% Grenache, 7.1% Petite Sirah, 6.9% Syrah and 0.6% Viognier, employing 56% whole cluster, the nose of this opaque, garnet-purple colored uber-Grenache completely explodes with a candied violets, mandarin peel and Indian spices perfume, giving way to a core of bursting-ripe red berries—redcurrants, Morello cherries and raspberries—with an undercurrent of earth, earth and more sweet, fragrant earth. The numbers are telling me this is a full-bodied wine (16.9% alcohol), but the palate is deceptively ethereal, possessing more of a medium to full-bodied feel, thanks in part to bags of well-integrated freshness and fantastic harmony, with soft, silt-like tannins, finishing with loads of savory layers and a fragrant, floral breeze. Yowza, that's good. (LPB)" (08/2020)
Starting Bid: $600.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2010 Galardi "Terra di Lavoro" Roccamonfina (98JS, 97VN, 95RP, 93WS). James Suckling: "A unique wine with iodine, red seaweed, mineral and dried fruits with hints of figs. Baslamic. You can feel the warmth of the volcanic soil. Full body with soft and silky tannins. Stylish and characterful. You need to try this." (01/2014)
Starting Bid: $120.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2010 Palari Faro Sicilia (95DC, 94WE, 93RP, 91W&S). Decanter: "The nose is lean and intense, with aromas of sour cherries and a hint of coffee. Although very concentrated, it's silky, fresh and lively, with almost tangy acidity. It shows elegance and poise rather than plumpness and weight, and the tannins are well integrated. Very long, with great potential. (SB)" (03/2018)
Starting Bid: $120.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Sine Qua Non "Shakti" Ventura County Grenache (100RP, 97JD, 96VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2014 Grenache Shakti is blended of 88% Grenache, 6% Mourvèdre, 4% Petite Sirah and 2% Touriga Nacional, coming 51% from the Cumulus (Estate) Vineyard, 18% from The Third Twin (Estate) Vineyard, 9.5% from Bien Nacido Vineyard and 21.5% for the Eleven Confessions (Estate) Vineyard. It was produced using 42% whole cluster and aged for around 21 months in French oak, 6% new (bottled June 21, 2017). It offers up a deep garnet-purple color and notes of dried Mediterranean herbs, dusty earth, Chinese five spice and rose petals over a core of red currants, mulberries, red plums and black raspberries, plus a waft of chocolate covered cherries. Full-bodied, decadently concentrated and yet very, very pretty in the mouth, it delivers incredibly fine-grained, ripe tannins and wonderful freshness... (LPB)" (09/2017)
