This aperitif wine has been in production since 1865. It was also an early sponsor of the Tour de France, and the bittersweet concoction stimulates the appetite. From the importer: "It is made by an infusion of gentian, cinchona (quinine), and renowned herbs of the Grand Chartreuse mountains in a mistelle base.
