We can tell you this much: our Kalinda private label hooks you up with awesome wine at a fraction of what you'd otherwise pay for this exact same wine under its normal label. While we have to remain quiet about the source of this beauty, we can tell you that it sells elsewhere under the winery label at a much higher premium. Get it while it lasts.

94 points Jeb Dunnuck: "Made by Greg Brewer and already bottled, the 2023 Chardonnay comes from the Mission Mills Vineyard just outside of Los Alamos. Its vivid medium gold hue is followed by a vibrant nose of salted citrus, tangerine, exotic flowers, and subtle spice. Medium-bodied, pure, rounded, and beautifully balanced, it has plenty of power and density, integrated acidity, and a great finish. This impeccably made Chardonnay should be snatched up by readers, as it competes with wines at two to three times the price." (08/2024) 94 points Vinous: "T...

From one of Clyde's old friends, and from certified organic vineyards in the Redwood Valley AVA of Mendocino County, the Kalinda Sauvignon Blanc is an intense expression of terroir. Grown in the rocky benchlands of Mendocino County with southwest exposure, the Chance Creek vineyard site, originally planted to Palomino grapes used in the production of California sherry, was purchased by Lou Bock in 1979. He soon replanted the vineyard to Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier and Sangiovese. Today the mature vines produce incredible fruit and Lou enjoys making wines f...

Composed of Chardonnay sourced from Frank Family’s Lewis Vineyard along with fruit from neighboring Beckstoffer Vineyards in Napa-Carneros, and Sangiacomo Vineyards located in Sonoma-Carneros. Tasting notes from the winery: "This wine is a testament to the Carneros region, brimming with Meyer lemon, yellow apple, and salted butterscotch notes. Concentrated layers of spices and creamy vanilla meld with well-integrated oak and elegant waves of fresh acidity on the palate."

This is a bold and classic California Chardonnay from team Rombauer, the winery who arguably made bold, rich, butter-scented Chardonnays the standard across California. This one comes from the cool stretches of Carneros, and balances bright citrus and orchard fruit flavors with bright, refreshing acidity and just enough oak-driven spice.

93 points Wine Enthusiast: "If pét nats are supposed to be simple, this one breaks that mold. Aromas of apple flesh, grapefruit peel and chalk dust lead from the nose into a palate full of stonefruit, citrus and light yeast flavors. "

An astounding value in Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc. While most competitors have gone beyond the Napa Valley with their fruit sourcing these days, Oberon somehow manages to make this true Napa Valley Sauv Blanc for a rocking price!
95 points Wine Enthusiast: "Ted Glennon has fun on his mind in making this blend, and it really shows. This (2023) vintage is super vibrant on the nose with red fruit and foggy bay leaf aromas, the palate is FRESH and herby, offering berry and light menthol flavors. *Editors' Choice* (MK)"

95 points Wine Enthusiast: "This wine was exciting enough upon opening, but it showed further depth and nuance over three days, ensuring that it's going to be a winner for years to come. Aromas of raspberry, lilac and dark loam lead from the nose into a snappy palate of juicy berry, crushed rock and peppery spices. All of those elements elevate with patience. "

91 points Wine Enthusiast: "Lovely aromas of watermelon and peach pick up a floral tone on the nose of this rosé blend of 72% Grenache, 26% Cinsaut and 2% Tibouren. Similar fruit flavors are encased in firm tannins on the broad and likable sip, cut by bright acidity. (MK)" K&L Notes: The Language of Yes is the latest project from winemaking legend Randall Grahm of Bonny Doon Vineyard fame. Made in hommage to the great rosé wines of southern France. Randall's decades of experience really show in this category leading rosé. Mostly Grenache from Rancho Rea...

93 points Decanter: "A blend of Tocai Friulano, Ribolla Gialla and Chardonnay from small vineyards around the Napa Valley. Each variety is harvested separately and fermented independently in French Oak—aromas of honey, lychee and crushed stone. The palate is fleshy and mouth-filling with rich, ripe peach and honeyed apricot, finishing with a mouthful of wild, savoury herbs." 93 points James Suckling: "In its 15th vintage, Massican is the only solely white wine producer in Napa Valley. This light-bodied blend of tocai friulano, ribolla gialla and chardon...

93 points Wine Spectator: "This distinctive white features a lively, mouthwatering and energetic mix of pomelo, yuzu and lemon sherbet flavors, with hints of sweetgrass, apple blossoms and lime zest. There's also an appealing grip on the finish, reminiscent of the skin of roasted, salted almonds, while a whiff of wild fennel lingers. (MW)" (10/2024)

From ancient, own-rooted vines planted in 1886. Thought to be the oldest planting of Cinsault on the planet. Made in a light, bright, crunchy style that is quite a contrast from many of the fuller bodied Turley wines. Aged in completely neutral French oak.

It’s medium-bodied with a chalky mineral finish. Drink now. Screw cap." 90 points Wine Spectator: "Poached pear, Fuji apple and pineapple notes are fresh and juicy on a medium body, with orange blossom, candied ginger and lemon drop hints. 93 points Wine Enthusiast: "White melon, crisp nectarine and apple slice aromas mare cut by sea salt on the cohesive nose of this bottling. There's a sharper, crystalline focus to the palate, where citrus edges cut into the warmer cantaloupe and tropical touches, with lively acidity throughout."

For the past four decades, Matanzas Creek Winery has focused on creating site-expressive wines. Throughout the years, their methodology has remained the same. They utilize a range of vineyard clones and fermentation vessels, and explore new farming and winemaking techniques, in order to produce thoughtfully crafted, expressive, and balanced wines. Robert Parker writes: "Matanzas Creek is a laudable winery in every respect. While everything that emerges is of the highest quality level, Matanzas Creek has established itself as a reference point winery..."

90 points Vinous: "The 2023 Rosé Ode to Lulu is a blend of Mourvèdre, Grenache and Syrah. Deceptive in its first impression, the 2023 is beautifully delineated and nuanced. It opens nicely in the glass, showing lovely mid-palate intensity and the balance to be quite versatile. It’s a fine effort from Bedrock."

96 points Jeb Dunnuck: "A bright silver/straw color, the 2023 Sauvignon Blanc is a single vineyard blend with 64% Old Vine Selection, 23% Clone 376, and the rest Hillside planting. Coming from other-worldly looking old vines, Sauvignon Blanc doesn’t get much better than this in California. Lovely flinty reduction frames this wine with a gorgeous, refined, floral perfume of wet stone, white currants, white pepper, grapefruit, and delicate baking spice. Medium-bodied, it has fantastic concentration, driving, mouthwatering, fresh acidity with a linear feel,...

Despite the broad California AVA, this very deliberately made, thoughtful rosé is from two specific vineyards renowned for quality fruit. The blend on the 2023 is 58% Grenache from Cemetery Vineyard in Mendocino and and 42% Mourvèdre from Placida Vineyard on the Sonoma Coast. The fruit was whole-cluster pressed, then fermented with native yeasts and aged in a combination of concrete tanks and 1000L French oak oval casks.

A rare non-sparkling wine from BXT! The chance to work with some legendary fruit from Shake Ridge Ranch was too much to pass up for Tom. His deep connection with Ann Kramer who owns / farms this incredible site in Amador county has created something truly special in many ways. Not only is this wine absolutely stunning, it also supports a noble cause with profits being donated to Abode in Napa, CA - A project that provides emergency shelter and housing assistance to those in crisis. Winemaker's Notes: "We don’t always make wines without bubbles, but when ...

91 points Vinous: "Just bottled, the 2023 Pinot Noir Clima Frío offers up hints of sweet red cherry, pipe tobacco, cedar, mint and dried flowers. This is an especially savory style that reflects the blend of fruit from Presqu’ile (a cool site—all destemmed) and Yellow Fox Trot. If this is the appellation wine, I can't wait to taste the vineyard designates. (AG) " (07/2024)
